[0005] Products whose content can vary according to the preferences of cats and people, especially products that help cats to have a comfortable living space at home and meet their toilet needs in accordance with their instincts are called cat litter.

[0006] The main purpose of cat litter is to absorb the cat's urine and faeces and keep them in the toilet bowl. Cat litter is used to encourage the cat's toilet habits, maintain the cleanliness of the house and prevent bad odours.

[0007] Cat litter should generally have features such as absorbency, odour control, hygiene and easy cleaning. The cat litters in the present art are generally manufactured from clay-based, silica-based, natural and waste litter.

[0008] In the prior art, silica litter is generally used as cat litter. Silica litter contains silica gel crystals. Silica gel crystals are harmful and toxic to cats. In addition, the mentioned silica litter can stick to cats' hair and paws. Cats can swallow adhering litter while cleaning themselves and can cause serious problems. The prior art uses its own litter containing bentonite, which changes colour according to the cat's urine. Bentonite is a natural clay mineral. However, it is very dusty. The dust is harmful to both the cat and the human. It can also damage the digestive and respiratory tract when swallowed by the cat.

[0009] The Turkish national patent application coded 2019 / 07142 in the prior art mentions a flea-free deodorising cat litter. Said cat litter traps odour so that cats can defecate. The mentioned cat litter has the feature of changing colour at the time of use. In addition, cat litter in granular form does not contain lice and fleas. The cat litter in question consists of powdered sawdust, borax, carboxymethyl cellulose, potassium salt, food colouring, calcium chloride and natural essence.

[0017] The inventive smart cat litter is composed of pumice. Pumice is a building element of volcanic origin, silicate -based, glassy and porous structure. The mentioned pumice is very light and has the ability to absorb water. Pumice is granulated to be used as cat litter.

2. The cat litter mentioned in Claim 1 and characterised in that; being composed of pumice bonded with an indicator which changes to at least one different colour when in contact with cat urine having high or low pH values.

3. The pumice mentioned in Claim 1 and characterised in that; comprising an amorphous structure with a smooth transition surface to prevent adhesion to the body of the cat and thus possible ingestion.
