Abstract
Description
View display method and electronic device
[0001] This application claims priority to the Chinese patent application filed with the State Intellectual Property Office on August 3, 2023, with application number 202310980043.X and application name “View Display Method and Electronic Device”, the entire contents of which are incorporated by reference into this application. Technical Field
[0002] The embodiments of the present application relate to the field of image processing technology, and in particular to a view display method and an electronic device. Background Art
[0003] With the rapid development of electronic devices, electronic devices may now include gallery or album functions. Images in a gallery or album on an electronic device can be divided according to a time dimension, which may be a year, month, or day. In other words, the browsing scenarios for gallery images on an electronic device can be divided into yearly, monthly, and daily views. Users can browse image thumbnails of different sizes and magnitudes in different view scenarios, making it easier for users to browse images taken or stored at different time periods using different time dimensions.
[0004] The current view display method is: taking the year view scenario as an example, when the user slides the year view interface displayed on the electronic device, the electronic device will refresh the thumbnails arranged in reverse chronological order. The refreshing process includes reading the thumbnail resources, decoding the images, drawing and rendering, and finally displaying the thumbnails in the corresponding area of the electronic device.
[0005] However, due to the large number of images in the year view, and the fact that thumbnails are refreshed individually during the entire display process, the number of operations required to read and decode the images, which consume a lot of electronic device resources, increases the image display time and causes white blocks to briefly appear in the area where the image was previously displayed. In particular, when users quickly scroll through the year view interface, a large number of white blocks appear, resulting in a poor user experience.
[0006] Summary of the Invention
[0007] The view display method and electronic device provided by the embodiments of the present application shorten the display time of the thumbnail of the picture and avoid the phenomenon of a white block briefly appearing in the area where the thumbnail of the picture is located before it is displayed.
[0008] To achieve the above objectives, the embodiments of the present application adopt the following technical solutions.
[0009] In a first aspect, the present application provides a view display method, the execution subject of the method may be an electronic device, or a component located in the electronic device (for example, a chip, a chip system or a processor, etc.), and the following description is made using the execution subject being an electronic device as an example. The method may include: receiving a first operation acting on a first interface, the first operation being used to display a thumbnail of a first target image; obtaining a first group corresponding to the first target image; obtaining a first spliced large image corresponding to the first group based on the first group, the first spliced large image including image features of thumbnails of images belonging to the first group; obtaining image features of the thumbnail of the first target image; and displaying a thumbnail of the first target image on a second interface based on the image features of the thumbnail of the first target image.
[0010] In one example, the first interface can be understood as the image display interface of the gallery application. This interface can be a display interface of the first view, which can include any of a day view, a month view, and a year view. Of course, the first view can also be other views, such as a half-month view, a half-year view, etc. This is not specifically limited in this application.
[0011] In one example, the first group may be pre-generated, and the first group is obtained by grouping multiple images according to a first preset order and a first number. The first preset order can be understood as the acquisition time order, arrangement order, or position order of the multiple images. The first number may be the number of thumbnails determined based on the display size of the first view thumbnail.
[0012] In one example, the first spliced large image can be understood as a spliced large image of the image features of the thumbnails of all the pictures in the first group. That is, the thumbnails of all the pictures in the first group are spliced into the spliced large image according to the order and size.
[0013] In the present application, when an electronic device reads the thumbnails of decoded pictures, the electronic device does not need to read and decode the thumbnails one by one, but reads and decodes the thumbnails in the same group once, effectively reducing the resource consumption of the electronic device. At the same time, the reading and decoding speed of the thumbnails on the electronic device is improved, so that the display time of the thumbnails is shortened, avoiding the phenomenon of white blocks briefly appearing in the area before the thumbnail is displayed.
[0014] In one design scheme, displaying the thumbnail of the first target image on the second interface is specifically: obtaining a first position on the second interface for displaying the thumbnail of the first target image; and displaying the thumbnail of the first target image according to the first position and the image features of the thumbnail of the first target image.
[0015] In one example, the first position can be understood as a control on the first interface, which is used to display a picture or a thumbnail of a picture.
[0016] In some designs, before receiving the first operation on the first interface, the method further includes: grouping a first number of images to obtain images in the first group; obtaining thumbnails of the images in the first group; and splicing the thumbnails of the images in the first group to obtain the first spliced large image. The first number may be the number of thumbnails determined based on the display size of the thumbnails of the first view.
[0017] For example, in the year view, the corresponding area of each thumbnail in the mosaic is [64*pos,0,64*pos+64,64]. This area corresponds to the [left, top, right, bottom] area, which corresponds to the image features of the thumbnail. Here, pos refers to the order of the thumbnails (also the order of the images in the first group), and each thumbnail is 64*64 pixels in size.
[0018] In one design solution, grouping the first number of pictures includes grouping the first number of pictures according to a first view, where the first view includes a day view, a month view, or a year view.
[0019] In one design solution, the first operation is used to display a thumbnail of the first target image in the first view mode.
[0020] In one design, the thumbnails of the pictures in the first group are spliced together to obtain the first spliced large picture, specifically by splicing the thumbnails of the pictures in the first group into the first spliced large picture according to the time sorting of the pictures in the first group.
[0021] In some design schemes, the method of grouping the first number of pictures to obtain the pictures of the first group also includes: receiving a specified operation, and the specified operation includes at least one of the following: a screen-off operation, a charging operation, a picture import operation, an operation of opening a gallery application, a triggering operation of displaying pictures in the first view in the gallery application for the first time, and a picture synchronization operation.
[0022] In one design solution, grouping the first number of pictures to obtain the first group of pictures specifically includes: grouping the first number of pictures according to a preset period to obtain the first group of pictures.
[0023] In some designs, the method further includes: when a change in the number of images is detected, updating the first group and the first spliced large image corresponding to the first group.
[0024] In one design, when a change in the number of pictures is detected, the first group is updated, specifically: when it is detected that the number of newly added pictures reaches a first threshold, the first group is updated; or, when it is detected that the number of deleted pictures reaches a second threshold, the first group is updated. In the present application, based on the request for picture changes in the gallery application, adjacent thumbnails displayed on the interface of the electronic device are grouped into the same group as much as possible, so as to flexibly adjust the spliced large picture. Subsequently, when the electronic device refreshes the displayed thumbnails, the electronic device can find the corresponding thumbnail on the updated spliced large picture, which is more accurate and improves the user experience.
[0025] In some designs, before obtaining the first large stitched image corresponding to the first group according to the first group, the method further includes: determining whether a first large stitched image corresponding to the first group is stored in the electronic device.
[0026] In one design scheme, obtaining the first spliced large image corresponding to the first group according to the first group is specifically: according to the first group to which the first target image belongs, determining whether the first spliced large image corresponding to the first group is stored in the memory; and obtaining the first spliced large image corresponding to the first group.
[0027] In one design scheme, the method of obtaining the first spliced large image corresponding to the first group based on the first group is specifically as follows: determining whether the second target image in the first group has sent a request to read the first spliced large image corresponding to the first group, where the second target image is any image in the first group; if the second target image has sent a request to read the first spliced large image corresponding to the first group, obtaining the first spliced large image corresponding to the first group stored in the memory; if the second target image has not sent a request to read the first spliced large image corresponding to the first group, reading the first spliced large image according to the group identifier of the first group and storing it in the memory.
[0028] In one design scheme, the obtaining of the first spliced large image corresponding to the first group according to the first group is specifically as follows: when the first spliced large image corresponding to the first group is not stored in the memory, determining whether the first spliced large image is in the processing process; if the first spliced large image is in the processing process, waiting for the processing of the first spliced large image to be completed and obtaining the first spliced large image; if the first spliced large image is not in the processing process, reading the first spliced large image according to the group identifier of the first group and storing it in the memory.
[0029] In one design scheme, the first spliced large image corresponding to the first group is obtained based on the first grouping, specifically: based on the group identifier of the first group to which the first target image belongs, and the sorting of the first target image in the group, the image features of the thumbnail corresponding to the first target image are obtained in the first spliced large image corresponding to the group identifier.

The display module is used to display a thumbnail of the first target image on a second interface based on the image features of the thumbnail of the first target image.
[0033] In one example, the first interface can be understood as the image display interface of the gallery application. This interface can be a display interface of the first view, which can include any of a day view, a month view, and a year view. Of course, the first view can also be other views, such as a half-month view, a half-year view, etc. This is not specifically limited in this application.
[0034] In one example, the first group may be pre-generated, and the first group is obtained by grouping multiple images according to a first preset order and a first number. [0076] Electronic devices may include a gallery or album function. Images in a gallery or album on an electronic device can be divided according to a time dimension, which may be year, month, or day. In other words, the gallery browsing scenarios on an electronic device can be divided into yearly, monthly, and daily views. Users can browse thumbnails of different sizes and magnitudes in different view scenarios, making it easier for users to browse images taken or stored at different time periods using different time dimensions.
[0077] Specifically, Figure 1 is a schematic diagram of an interface of an electronic device provided. As shown in Figure 1, the electronic device 100 displays the interface 101 shown in Figure 1, and the interface 101 includes an icon 102 of the gallery application. When the user clicks the icon 102, the display interface of the electronic device 100 jumps to the interface 103 shown in Figure 2, which includes multiple pictures, and these pictures are divided according to the time dimension of the date. When the user's two fingers slide along the arrow on the interface 103, in response to the user operation, the electronic device 100 reads the thumbnails of each picture in chronological order, and decodes the thumbnails to obtain the image features of the thumbnails. Afterwards, after the electronic device 100 draws and renders the image features of the thumbnails, the electronic device 100 displays the interface 104 shown in Figure 3. A blank area 105 and some thumbnails 106 are displayed in the display area for 2020 on the interface 104. Similarly, when the user presses the control 107 shown in Figure 3 along the arrow or arrow When sliding, in response to user operations, the electronic device 100 repeats the above-mentioned operations of reading, decoding, drawing and rendering each thumbnail 106. A blank area 105 may still be displayed on the interface of the electronic device 100, such as the blank area displayed in the display area of 2019 as shown in Figure 3.
[0078] In summary, due to the large number of thumbnails in the year view, and the fact that thumbnails are refreshed and displayed individually throughout the entire display process, excessive operations such as reading and decoding thumbnails consume a lot of electronic device resources. This results in a longer display time for thumbnails and causes brief white blocks to appear in the area where the thumbnails were previously displayed. In particular, when users quickly scroll through the year view interface, a large number of white blocks appear, resulting in a poor user experience.
[0079] To address the aforementioned issues, embodiments of the present application provide a view display method. The method is applied to an electronic device, wherein the electronic device determines a first number of thumbnails to display in a first view based on the display size of the thumbnails in the first view. The electronic device groups a first number of images on the electronic device in reverse chronological order to obtain a first group. The electronic device determines a thumbnail for each image in the first group in the first view. The electronic device stitches all thumbnails in the first group into a stitched large image. The grouping information for the first group may include an identifier for the first group, the position and identifier of each image in the first group within the group, and the stitched large image includes the group identifier and image features of each thumbnail in the first group in the stitched large image. When a user performs a first operation on a first interface of a gallery application on the electronic device, the first operation triggers display of the first view on the first interface. In response to the first operation, the electronic device determines a first display area corresponding to the first view, the first display area including a first position for displaying a thumbnail of a target image. Based on the grouping information, the electronic device reads the first group corresponding to the target image and the stitched large image of the first group. The electronic device decodes the stitched large image and finds image features of the target thumbnail corresponding to the target image in the stitched large image. The electronic device displays the target thumbnail at the first position of the first display area based on the image features of the target thumbnail. It can be seen that the difference between the present application and the existing view display method is that when reading and decoding thumbnails, the electronic device does not need to read and decode the thumbnails one by one, but reads and decodes the thumbnails in the same group once, which effectively reduces the resource consumption of the electronic device. At the same time, it improves the reading and decoding speed of the thumbnails on the electronic device, shortens the display time of the thumbnail, and avoids the phenomenon of white blocks briefly appearing in the area before the thumbnail is displayed.
[0080] Exemplarily, following the above example, when the user slides two fingers along the arrow on the interface 103 shown in FIG2 , in response to the user operation, the operation is used to trigger the display of the year view on the interface 104. The electronic device 100 reads the large mosaic image corresponding to the first group to which the target image belongs, and decodes the image features of the thumbnails in the large mosaic image. Afterwards, the electronic device 100 draws and renders the image features of the thumbnails of the target image. Drawing and rendering usually take some time. After the drawing and rendering are completed, the electronic device 100 displays the interface 104 shown in FIG4 , and the thumbnails of all the pictures in the year view are displayed on the interface 104. Since the electronic device 100 reads and decodes the thumbnails in the same group once, the reading and decoding speed of the thumbnails on the electronic device is improved, so that the display time of the thumbnails is shortened, so that all the thumbnails on the interface 104 are displayed without the phenomenon of white blocks.

[0091] The wireless communication module 250 can provide wireless communication solutions for electronic devices, including wireless local area networks (WLAN) (such as wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi) networks), Bluetooth (BT), global navigation satellite system (GNSS), frequency modulation (FM), near field communication (NFC), infrared (IR), etc. The wireless communication module 250 can be one or more devices that integrate at least one communication processing module. The wireless communication module 250 receives electromagnetic waves via the antenna 1, frequency modulates and filters the electromagnetic wave signals, and sends the processed signals to the processor 210. The wireless communication module 250 can also receive the signal to be sent from the processor 210, frequency modulate it, amplify it, and convert it into electromagnetic waves for radiation through the antenna 1.
[0092] The electronic device implements its display functionality through a GPU, display screen 280, and an application processor. The GPU is a microprocessor for image processing that connects the display screen 280 and the application processor. The GPU is used to perform mathematical and geometric calculations for graphics rendering. The processor 210 may include one or more GPUs that execute program instructions to generate or modify display information.
[0093] Display screen 280 is used to display images, videos, and the like. Display screen 280 includes a display panel. The display panel can be a liquid crystal display (LCD), an organic light-emitting diode (OLED), an active-matrix organic light-emitting diode (AMOLED), a flexible light-emitting diode (FLED), a MiniLED, a MicroLED, a Micro-oLed, or a quantum dot light-emitting diode (QLED). In some embodiments, the electronic device can include one or N display screens 280, where N is a positive integer greater than one.
[0094] The electronic device can implement a shooting function through an ISP, a video codec, a GPU, a display 280, and an application processor.
[0095] The ISP processes data fed back by camera 290. For example, when taking a photo, the shutter is opened, and light is transmitted through the lens to the camera's photosensitive element. The light signal is converted into an electrical signal, which is then passed to the ISP for processing and transformed into a visible image. The ISP can also perform algorithmic optimization on image noise and brightness. It can also optimize parameters such as exposure and color temperature of the captured scene. In some embodiments, the ISP can be located within camera 290.
[0096] The camera 290 is used to capture still images or videos. The object generates an optical image through the lens and projects it onto the photosensitive element. The photosensitive element can be a charge coupled device (CCD) or a complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) phototransistor. The photosensitive element converts the optical signal into an electrical signal, and then transmits the electrical signal to the ISP to be converted into a digital image signal. The ISP outputs the digital image signal to the DSP for processing. The DSP converts the digital image signal into an image signal in a standard RGB (RGB represents red, green, and blue), YUV ("Y" represents brightness (Luminance or Luma), that is, grayscale value, and "U" and "V" represent chrominance (Chrominance or Chroma)) format. In some embodiments, the electronic device may include 1 or N cameras 290, where N is a positive integer greater than 1.
[0097] Digital signal processors (DSPs) are used to process digital signals. Besides digital image signals, they can also process other digital signals. For example, when an electronic device selects a frequency, the DSP performs a Fourier transform on the frequency energy.
[0098] Video codecs are used to compress or decompress digital video. Electronic devices may support one or more video codecs. This allows them to play or record videos in a variety of encoding formats, such as Moving Picture Experts Group (MPEG) 1, MPEG2, MPEG3, and MPEG4.
[0099] The NPU is a neural network (NN) computing processor. Drawing on the structure of biological neural networks, such as the transmission patterns between neurons in the human brain, it rapidly processes input information and can continuously self-learn. The NPU enables intelligent cognitive applications in electronic devices, such as image recognition, face recognition, speech recognition, and text comprehension.
[0100] The memory 220 can be used to store computer executable program code, which includes instructions. The memory 220 may include a program storage area and a data storage area. Among them, the program storage area may store an operating system, an application required for at least one function (such as a sound playback function, an image playback function, etc.), etc. The data storage area may store data created during the use of the electronic device (such as audio data, a phone book, etc.), etc. In addition, the memory 220 may include a high-speed random access memory, and may also include a non-volatile memory, such as at least one disk storage device, a flash memory device, a universal flash storage (UFS), etc. The processor 210 executes various functional applications and data processing of the electronic device by running instructions stored in the memory 220, and / or instructions stored in a memory provided in the processor.
[0101] Pressure sensor 260A is used to sense pressure signals and convert them into electrical signals. In some embodiments, pressure sensor 260A can be located on display screen 280. There are many types of pressure sensors 260A, such as resistive, inductive, and capacitive. A capacitive pressure sensor can include at least two parallel plates made of conductive material. When force acts on pressure sensor 260A, the capacitance between the electrodes changes. The electronic device determines the intensity of the pressure based on this change in capacitance. When a touch operation is applied to display screen 280, the electronic device detects the intensity of the touch operation based on pressure sensor 260A. The electronic device can also calculate the location of the touch based on the detection signal from pressure sensor 260A. In some embodiments, touch operations applied to the same touch location but with different touch operation intensities can correspond to different operation instructions. For example, when a touch operation with an intensity less than a first pressure threshold is applied to a short message application icon, an instruction to view short messages is executed. When a touch operation with an intensity greater than or equal to the first pressure threshold is applied to a short message application icon, an instruction to create a new short message is executed.
[0102] Touch sensor 260B, also known as a "touch-sensitive device," can be disposed on display screen 280. Touch sensor 260B and display screen 280 form a touch screen, also known as a "touch screen." Touch sensor 260B is configured to detect touch operations applied thereto or in the vicinity thereof. The touch sensor can transmit the detected touch operations to an application processor to determine the type of touch event. Visual output related to the touch operations can be provided via display screen 280. In other embodiments, touch sensor 260B can also be disposed on the surface of the electronic device, at a location different from that of display screen 280.
[0103] Keys 270 include a power button, a volume button, and the like. Keys 270 may be mechanical keys or touch-sensitive keys. The electronic device may receive key inputs and generate key signal inputs related to user settings and function control of the electronic device.
[0104] Of course, the electronic device may also include other functional units, which is not limited in the embodiments of the present application.
[0105] The electronic device 100 is an electronic device with an image display function. For example, the electronic device 100 may be a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a laptop, a notebook computer, an ultra-mobile personal computer (UMPC), a handheld computer, a netbook, a personal digital assistant (PDA), a wearable electronic device, a virtual reality (VR) device, etc.
[0106] An embodiment of the present application provides a view display method, which is applied to the electronic device shown in FIG5 . The method can be described in detail in the following stages:
[0107] The first stage is the preparation stage.
[0108] FIG6 and FIG7-1 are flow charts of a view display method provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in FIG6 and FIG7-1, the method may include: S700, S710, S720, S730 and S740 (some of which are optional). For details of S700, S710, S720, S730 and S740, please refer to the description of the following embodiment. Specifically, it may be:
[0109] S700: The electronic device groups multiple pictures of a gallery application to obtain a first group.
[0110] After the camera of an electronic device captures multiple pictures, the information of these pictures is stored in the memory space of the electronic device. In addition, these pictures can be displayed on the interface of the gallery application according to the first view. Among them, the first view may include a day view, a month view or a year view. For example, in the day view scenario, these pictures can be arranged in the order of the time of collection and displayed on the interface 103 as shown in Figure 2. However, when in the month view or year view scenario, since a large number of pictures need to be displayed on the interface, thumbnails of these pictures need to be displayed on the interface of the gallery application. Therefore, the electronic device needs to group the multiple pictures of the gallery application according to different view scenarios. Specifically, the grouping method is as follows:
[0111] In a specific implementation, the electronic device determines a first number of thumbnails displayed in the first view according to a display size of the thumbnails in the first view, and groups the first number of pictures on the electronic device into a first group according to a first preset order.
[0112] A thumbnail can be understood as a cropped or reduced version of an image. A thumbnail in the first view can be understood as a cropped or reduced version of an image in the first view. That is, the thumbnails of the same image are different in different viewing scenarios. For example, if an image is 4096*3072 pixels in size, its thumbnail in the month view might be 128*128 pixels, and in the year view might be 64*64 pixels.
[0113] In one example, the number of thumbnails that can be displayed by an electronic device in different view scenarios varies. For example, in a month view scenario, the electronic device may display 80 128*128 pixel thumbnails. Accordingly, the number of images is also 80. In a year view scenario, the electronic device may display 100 64*64 pixel thumbnails. Accordingly, the number of images is also 100. In this application, the first view is the year view, and the first number is 100.
[0114] The first preset order may include an acquisition time order, a position order, an arrangement order, etc. In the present application, the first preset order is described in detail by taking the reverse time order as an example.
[0115] In a specific implementation, the specific setting value of the first number can be selected according to actual needs. For example, for a month view scenario, the electronic device can select 80 thumbnails from a plurality of 128*128 pixel thumbnails in reverse chronological order and group them into a first group. For a year view scenario, the electronic device can select 100 thumbnails from a plurality of 64*64 pixel thumbnails in reverse chronological order and group them into a first group.
[0116] In one specific implementation, as shown in FIG6 , S700 may specifically include: ① The electronic device receives an operation on the electronic device, which operation may include a user triggering a screen-off operation, or a user triggering a first browsing operation of thumbnails in a first view on an interface of a gallery application. ② When the electronic device receives the operation on the electronic device, a grouping module in the gallery application of the electronic device may first group the multiple images according to a first preset order and a first quantity to obtain a first group.
[0117] S710: The electronic device determines thumbnails of all pictures in the first group.
[0118] In some examples, the timing of thumbnail generation may include the following situations: Scenario 1: During the process of the camera capturing a picture, a thumbnail of the picture can be generated, and the information of the picture and its thumbnail can be stored in the storage space. Scenario 2: In the foreground, the generation of a thumbnail of the picture can be triggered by user operation. Exemplarily, when the user triggers the screen-off operation, or the user performs a secondary trigger operation of browsing the thumbnails under the first view for the first time on the interface of the gallery application, the electronic device determines the thumbnails of all pictures in the first group. Scenario 3: In the background, the electronic device automatically generates thumbnails of the pictures. Exemplarily, when the electronic device is charging, or the electronic device automatically performs a thumbnail generation operation, or the electronic device periodically performs a thumbnail generation operation, or when the synchronization of pictures to the electronic device on the cloud side is completed, the electronic device determines the thumbnails of all pictures in the first group.
[0119] Among them, the electronic device determines the thumbnail of the picture, and the specific implementation can be: in a specific implementation method, the electronic device can scale and / or crop a picture of 4096*3072 pixels to obtain a thumbnail of 64*64 pixels. In another specific implementation method, the electronic device scales and / or crops a picture of 4096*3072 pixels to obtain a thumbnail of 128*128 pixels. Furthermore, in order to obtain a thumbnail of smaller size, the electronic device can crop the existing thumbnail to obtain a smaller thumbnail. For example, the electronic device can scale or crop a thumbnail of 128*128 pixels to obtain a thumbnail of 64*64 pixels. In this way, existing resources can be fully utilized and efficiency can be effectively improved.
[0120] In one specific implementation, as shown in FIG6 , S710 may specifically include: ③ The thumbnail generation module in the gallery application of the electronic device may generate corresponding thumbnails for all images in the first group. For example, the electronic device may scale and / or crop an image of 4096*3072 pixels to obtain a thumbnail of 64*64 pixels.
[0121] S720: The electronic device records group information of the first group.
[0122] In some examples, after an electronic device groups multiple images, it obtains grouping information, which may include an identifier for each group, the image capture time for each group, a first quantity, and an identifier for each image. Of course, the grouping information may also include a view scene identifier and an identifier for the thumbnail corresponding to each image. For example, if the view scene is a month view scene, the identifier for the month view scene may be a month thumbnail group key, and accordingly, the identifier for the thumbnail corresponding to the target image may be a month thumbnail group key_moon_thumbnail 1. If the view scene is a year view scene, the identifier for the year view scene may be a year thumbnail group key, and accordingly, the identifier for the thumbnail corresponding to the target image may be a year thumbnail group key_year_thumbnail 1.
[0123] Afterwards, the electronic device records the above grouping information. Exemplarily, the grouping information stored in the local storage space of the electronic device can be recorded as shown in Table 1, as shown in Table 1:
[0124] Table 1
[0125] In Table 1, the field Group_key indicates the identifier of the group, the field Year indicates the time, and the field Thumbs_count indicates the first quantity.
[0126] Of course, after the electronic device obtains the grouping information, it can also obtain the image corresponding to the target image. The image information may include the identifier of the target image, the size of the target image, the time when the target image was captured, the identifier of the group to which the target image belongs, the identifier of the thumbnail of the target image, and the order of the target image within the group. Afterwards, the electronic device records the above image information. For example, the image information stored in the local storage space of the electronic device can be recorded as shown in Table 2, as shown in Table 2:
[0127] Table 2
[0128] In Table 2, the field "Picture key" identifies the picture, the field "Group_key" identifies the group, the field "Year" identifies the time, the field "Group by" indicates the sorting of pictures within the group, and the field "Thumbnail Key" identifies the thumbnail. Of course, the field "Thumbnail Key" can also include the fields "thumbnail_moon_key" and "thumbnail_year_key." The field "thumbnail_moon_key" identifies the monthly thumbnail, and the field "thumbnail_year_key" identifies the yearly thumbnail.
[0129] After the electronic device obtains the image grouping, the electronic device can encode each thumbnail in each group one by one, or the electronic device can encode the thumbnails of each group as a whole, and then store the encoded thumbnail groups in the storage space. Subsequently, when the electronic device reads the thumbnail of the target image, the electronic device can read the group where the target thumbnail is located according to the group identifier, and the target thumbnail can be read. That is, the electronic device can read the target thumbnail corresponding group as a whole, and can read the thumbnails of multiple target images at a time, effectively preventing the thumbnails from being read one by one, and reducing the resource consumption of the electronic device. For details, please refer to the subsequent related description, which will not be repeated here.
[0130] In order to further improve the refresh display rate of thumbnails and reduce the occurrence of white blocks. After the electronic device obtains the picture grouping, the electronic device can splice all the thumbnails in the group to obtain a spliced large image. The spliced large image can contain the image features of each thumbnail. Subsequently, when the electronic device displays the image features of the target thumbnail, it can be obtained by reading and decoding the spliced large image containing the image features of the target thumbnail. That is to say, the electronic device can read and decode the spliced large image corresponding to the target thumbnail, read multiple thumbnails at a time, and decode multiple thumbnails into the memory space at a time, effectively preventing the reading of thumbnails and decoding of thumbnails one by one, and reducing the resource consumption of the electronic device. Among them, the generation of the spliced large image is as described in S730, specifically as follows:
[0131] S730: The electronic device stitches together the thumbnails of all the pictures in the group according to a second preset order to obtain a stitched large picture.
[0132] After the electronic device groups multiple pictures on the electronic device, the electronic device can splice the thumbnails corresponding to the pictures in the group under the following triggering timings. Specifically:
[0133] Trigger timing one: when the electronic device receives an operation on the electronic device.
[0134] In one example, when a user triggers the screen-off operation, or the electronic device is charging, or opens a gallery application, the electronic device groups the pictures in the timeline album, generates thumbnails for all the pictures in the group, and then splices these thumbnails.
[0135] Trigger timing two is when the electronic device receives a trigger operation for displaying the first view on the interface for the first time.
[0136] In another example, when the electronic device receives a trigger operation to display the first view on the interface for the first time, the electronic device groups the pictures in the timeline album, generates thumbnails for all the pictures in the group, and then splices the thumbnails.
[0137] Triggering opportunity three: when the electronic device automatically generates multiple thumbnails.
[0138] In another example, when the electronic device automatically performs a thumbnail generation operation, or the electronic device periodically performs a thumbnail generation operation, or when the synchronization of pictures to the electronic device is completed on the cloud side, the electronic device splices the thumbnails generated by all pictures in the group.
[0139] Furthermore, the electronic device may stitch together the image features of all thumbnails in the thumbnail group into a stitched large image according to a second preset order. The second preset order can be understood as the order in which the images are sorted within the group, or the positional order of the thumbnails of the images. That is, the electronic device stitches together the image features of all thumbnails in the group into a stitched large image according to the second preset order.
[0140] In one example, the electronic device can stitch the image features of all thumbnails in the thumbnail group into a stitched large image according to a second preset order. Specifically, for example, the electronic device can stitch the image features of multiple rows of thumbnails, or it can stitch the image features of a row of thumbnails. Specifically, if the image features of a row of thumbnails are stitched, then the position order of each thumbnail is the stitching order. The corresponding area of each thumbnail in the stitched large image is [64*pos,0,64*pos+64,64], which corresponds to an area of [left, top, right, bottom] respectively, which corresponds to the image features of the thumbnail. Subsequently, the electronic device searches for the image features in the stitched large image through the field posInGroup in the picture information main table gallery_media, and can directly read the corresponding area [64*pos,0,64*pos+64,64] of the stitched large image, which corresponds to the image features of an area of [left, top, right, bottom]. If the image features of multiple rows of thumbnails are stitched together, for example, n columns (10 columns), then the corresponding area of each thumbnail in the stitched large image is [(posInGroup%n)*64, (posInGroup / n)*64, (posInGroup%n)*64+64, (posInGroup / n)*64+64], which corresponds to the image features of the thumbnails. Subsequently, the electronic device uses the posInGroup field in the gallery_media main table of image information to find the image features corresponding to the area [(posInGroup%n)*64, (posInGroup / n)*64, (posInGroup%n)*64+64, (posInGroup / n)*64+64] in the stitched large image.
[0141] Afterwards, the electronic device stores the spliced large image in the memory space, and the identifier of the spliced large image is the identifier of the thumbnail group, which is consistent with the identifier of the picture group corresponding to the spliced large image. The identifier of the spliced large image is included in the group information and / or the picture information.
[0142] For example, after the electronic device obtains the spliced large image, the grouping information table in the local storage space of the electronic device also changes accordingly. The grouping information may also include the position (or order) of the thumbnails corresponding to each image in the spliced large image. For example, the grouping information stored in the storage space of the electronic device may be recorded as shown in Table 3, which corresponds to Table 1 above, as shown in Table 3:
[0143] Table 3
[0144] In Table 2, the field Group_key indicates the identifier of the group, the field Year indicates the time, the field Thumbs_count indicates the first quantity, and the field Kv_count indicates the thumbnail writing kv count.
[0145] In one specific implementation, as shown in FIG6 , S730 may specifically include: after the grouping module in the gallery application obtains the thumbnail group, the stitching module in the gallery application of the electronic device may stitch the thumbnails generated from all images in the first group into a stitched large image. Thereafter, the writing module in the gallery application may write information about the stitched large image into a storage space.
[0146] In a specific implementation manner, SS730 may be implemented as follows:
[0147] Assume that the electronic device has a main table 4 of picture information in the storage space. This table 4 corresponds to the above table 2. Specifically, the table 4 may be:
[0148] Table 4
[0149] The specific process of stitching a large image can be as follows: For example, taking the first browsing of the year view as an example, when the electronic device receives an action that triggers the display of the year view on the interface for the first time, the electronic device downsamples, scales, or crops the images in the first group. The electronic device generates thumbnails for all images in the first group and writes them to the storage space KvDB, which is a database in the storage space used to store thumbnail data. Based on the image path, the electronic device queries the group identifier Group_key from the gallery_media table, which contains all image information fields. Based on the group identifier Group_key, the electronic device reads the thumbnail write count Kv_count in the group from the Thumbs_group table shown in Table 3. If Kv_count is 0, indicating that the image is the first thumbnail written to the Kv after grouping, the electronic device iterates through all thumbnails in the group that have been written to the Kv, and accumulates them to Kv_count. If Kv_count is not 0, the electronic device directly adds 1 to Kv_count. The electronic device then determines whether Kv_count is less than the number of thumbnails recorded in the group, Thumbs_count. If yes, the electronic device accumulates 1 in Kv_count and writes it back to the Thumbs_group table. If not, the electronic device queries the scaled or cropped year view thumbnails corresponding to all pictures in the group from the query group in gallery_media. If the year thumbnails corresponding to all pictures exist, the electronic device splices the grouped large picture, that is, splices the large picture. After the splicing is completed, the electronic device writes the position of the thumbnail splicing to the Year_thumbs_pos_in_group of the gallery_media table, where pos defaults to 1 at the beginning, indicating that the thumbnail is not spliced. Of course, the process of splicing large pictures is not limited to the first browsing of the year view, it can also be the first browsing of the month view or the day view, which are not listed one by one in the embodiments of the present application. For example, when browsing the day view for the first time, the electronic device can also further generate a year thumbnail of 64*64 pixels based on the day thumbnail of 256*256 pixels.
[0150] After the electronic device obtains the spliced large image, when it subsequently receives a year view refresh request, it can obtain a thumbnail from the corresponding spliced large image according to the request and display the thumbnail on the interface of the gallery application. For details, please refer to the subsequent related description and will not be repeated here.
[0151] In this application, by splicing the thumbnails in the thumbnail group into a spliced large image, the spliced large image corresponds to the control that carries the image features of the thumbnails on the decoding of the gallery application. In this way, the image features of the spliced large image can be directly bound to the control in the corresponding area of the interface, reducing the number of times the thumbnails are uploaded to the GPU and reducing the load on the rendering thread. Alternatively, thumbnails can be cut out from the spliced large image according to the controls on the interface, and the cutting of thumbnails from the spliced large image is completed in the memory. Compared with decoding each thumbnail individually, the decoding performance is significantly improved, and the speed of thumbnail refresh display is greatly improved, achieving the purpose of significantly reducing or even eliminating white blocks.
[0152] In some embodiments, the images in the gallery application of the electronic device are updated at any time. When the images in the gallery application change, the thumbnail grouping will also change accordingly. As described in S740, the details are as follows:
[0153] S740: When the pictures in the gallery application are changed, the electronic device updates the grouping and stitching of the large picture.
[0154] In one example, as shown in FIG7-2, S740 can be specifically implemented as follows: S741, when a new picture is added to the gallery application, the electronic device determines whether the number of the new pictures reaches the first threshold. If the number of new pictures reaches the first threshold, S742, the electronic device groups the new pictures and generates a corresponding new spliced large picture. If the number of new pictures does not reach the first threshold, S743, the electronic device does not group the new pictures and maintains the original spliced large picture. For example, as shown in FIG7-3, a new picture is added to the gallery application of the electronic device 100. Before the new picture is added, the electronic device 100 has a grouping of existing pictures corresponding to the spliced large picture shown in FIG7-3. After the new picture is added, the electronic device 100 determines that the number of new pictures reaches the first threshold, and the acquisition time of these new pictures is continuous. Then, the electronic device 100 groups the new pictures into a group and obtains the corresponding new spliced large picture 1.
[0155] In another example, as shown in FIG. 7-4 , S740 may be specifically implemented as follows: S744 , when images are deleted in the gallery application, the electronic device determines whether the number of deleted images reaches a second threshold.
[0156] S745: If the number of deleted images reaches a second threshold, the electronic device dismantles the original spliced large image.
[0157] More specifically, in some embodiments, when the number of deleted images reaches a second threshold, it is further determined whether these deleted images are images with continuous acquisition time. For example, when these deleted images are images with continuous acquisition time, the electronic device disbands the existing grouping and regroups the images on the electronic device. Accordingly, the aforementioned spliced large image also needs to be re-spliced. When these deleted images are images with discontinuous acquisition time, the electronic device maintains the existing grouping and maintains the original spliced large image.
[0158] S746: If the number of deleted pictures does not reach the second threshold, the electronic device maintains the existing grouping and the original spliced large picture.
[0159] For example, as shown in FIG7-5 , a small portion of images are deleted from the gallery application of electronic device 100. Specifically, when the number of deleted images does not reach the second threshold, the electronic device retains the existing groupings and the existing stitched large image. This stitched large image contains invalid image features, such as the image features in the grayscale region shown in FIG7-5 .
[0160] For example, as shown in FIG7-6 , most images are deleted from the gallery application of electronic device 100. Specifically, when the number of deleted images reaches a second threshold, the electronic device disbands the existing grouping and regroups the images on the electronic device. Accordingly, the corresponding mosaic image is also disbanded.
[0161] In this application, based on the image change request in the gallery application, adjacent thumbnails displayed on the electronic device interface are grouped together as much as possible, thereby flexibly adjusting the spliced large image. Subsequently, when the electronic device refreshes the displayed thumbnails, the electronic device can find the corresponding thumbnail on the updated spliced large image, with high accuracy, improving the user experience.
[0162] The second stage is the application stage.
[0163] FIG8-1 is a flow chart of a view display method provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in FIG8-1 , the execution subject of the method may be an electronic device. The method may include S801, S802, S803, S804, and S805 (some of which are optional). For details of S801, S802, S803, S804, and S805, please refer to the description of the following embodiment. Specifically, it may be:
[0164] S801. The electronic device receives a first operation on a first interface, where the first operation is used to display a thumbnail of a first target image.
[0165] In an example, S801 may specifically be: the electronic device receives a first operation on a first interface of a gallery application, where the first operation is used to trigger display of a thumbnail of a first target image in a first view on the first interface.
[0166] The first operation may include a sliding operation, a pressing operation, a clicking operation, and a two-finger zooming operation. The sliding operation may include a single-finger sliding operation or a multi-finger sliding operation. For example, the first operation may include a sliding operation of two fingers of the user along an arrow on the interface 103 as shown in FIG2 .
[0167] The first view may include a month view or a year view. Of course, the first view is not limited to the above enumeration, and the present embodiment does not make specific limitations. In the present embodiment, the first view is taken as an example of a year view.
[0168] S802: The electronic device obtains a first group corresponding to the first target image.
[0169] In an example, S802 may specifically be: in response to the first operation, the electronic device determines a first display area corresponding to the first view, where the first display area includes a first position for displaying a thumbnail of the target image.
[0170] In one specific implementation, as shown in FIG6 , S802 may specifically be: ⑥ In response to the first operation, the electronic device determines a first display area corresponding to the first view, where the first display area includes a first position for displaying a thumbnail of the target image. Simultaneously, the electronic device sends a thumbnail refresh request to a reading module of the gallery application, where the request may carry grouping information corresponding to the target image.
[0171] S803: The electronic device obtains a first large stitched image corresponding to the first group according to the first group, where the first large stitched image includes image features of thumbnails of pictures belonging to the first group.
[0172] In one example, S803 may specifically be: the electronic device reads the first spliced large image corresponding to the first group according to the grouping information of the first group to which the target image belongs, where the first group is obtained by pre-grouping multiple images according to a first preset order and a first quantity in a first viewing scenario; the first spliced large image includes image features of thumbnails of all images in the first group.
[0173] The first preset order and the first quantity can be found in the related description in the above-mentioned first stage, which will not be repeated here.
[0174] In some examples, the grouping information may include an identifier for each group, the image capture time for each group, the first number, and an identifier for each image. Of course, the grouping information may also include a view scene identifier and an identifier for a thumbnail corresponding to each image. Of course, the grouping information may also include other information, which is not specifically limited in the embodiments of this application.
[0175] In some examples, the image information may include: image ID, image size, image acquisition time, image group ID, image thumbnail ID, image order within the group, etc. Of course, the image information may also include other information, which is not specifically limited in the embodiments of the present application.
[0176] For example, using Table 4 above, assume that the target image is identified as Picture 1. Based on the target image's identifier, Picture 1, the electronic device finds the identifier of the first group, Group 1, in gallery_media shown in Table 4. Based on the identifier of the first group, Group 1, the electronic device finds the identifier of the first spliced large image, Group 1. Based on the identifier of the first spliced large image, Group 1, the electronic device reads the first spliced large image from the storage space.
[0177] In one specific implementation, as shown in FIG6 , S803 may specifically be: ⑦ A reading module in the gallery application of the electronic device reads information about the spliced large image corresponding to the target image from a storage space based on the identifier of the first group, such as the identifier of the first spliced large image. The reading module of the electronic device reads the first spliced large image from the storage space based on the identifier of the first spliced large image. ⑧ After the reading module reads the spliced large image corresponding to the target image, the reading module sends the information about the spliced large image to a decoding module of the electronic device.
[0178] S804: The electronic device obtains image features of the thumbnail of the first target image.
[0179] In an example, S804 may specifically be: the electronic device decodes the first spliced large image to obtain image features of a thumbnail of the target image.
[0180] Exemplarily, following Table 4 above, the electronic device reads the first spliced large image and decodes the first spliced large image into the memory space, thereby obtaining image features of the thumbnails of all pictures in the first group in the first spliced large image.
[0181] In a specific implementation method, combined with Figure 6, S804 can be specifically as follows: ⑨ The decoding module of the electronic device decodes the spliced large image corresponding to the target image read by the reading module to obtain image features of each thumbnail contained in the spliced large image corresponding to the target image.
[0182] S805: The electronic device displays the thumbnail of the first target image on the second interface according to the image features of the thumbnail of the first target image.
[0183] In one example, S805 may specifically be: the electronic device obtains a first position for displaying a thumbnail of the first target image on the second interface, and displays the thumbnail of the first target image at the first position based on the first position and image features of the thumbnail of the first target image.
[0184] For example, using Table 4 above, the electronic device obtains the image features of the target image, Picture 1, from the area corresponding to that location on the first large mosaic image, based on the identifier Group 1 of the first mosaic image and the location of the year thumbnail in the field Year_thumbs_pos_in_group. The electronic device then binds the image features of the target image, Picture 1, to the first location and performs rendering and display operations. Finally, the target image's thumbnail is displayed at the first location.
[0185] In one specific implementation, as shown in FIG6 , S805 may specifically be as follows: (i) The drawing module of the electronic device extracts image features of the thumbnail corresponding to the position of the target image in the first group (that is, the position of the thumbnail corresponding to the target image in the large mosaic image) from the large mosaic image. The drawing module establishes a correspondence between the image features of the thumbnail of the target image and the first position. The rendering module of the GPU renders the image features of the thumbnail of the target image at the first position and displays it through the display screen 280 .
[0186] It can be seen that the difference between the present application and the existing view display method is that, when reading and decoding thumbnails, the electronic device does not need to read and decode the thumbnails one by one, but reads and decodes the thumbnails in the same group once, which effectively reduces the resource consumption of the electronic device. At the same time, it improves the reading and decoding speed of thumbnails on the electronic device, shortens the display time of the thumbnail, and avoids the phenomenon of white blocks briefly appearing in the area before the thumbnail is displayed.
[0187] FIG8-2 is a flow chart of a view display method provided in an embodiment of the present application. As shown in FIG8-2, the execution subject of the method may be an electronic device. The method may include S800, S810, S820, S830, S840, and S850 (some of which are optional). For details of S800, S810, S820, S830, S840, and S850, please refer to the description of the following embodiment. Specifically, it may be:
[0188] S800: The electronic device starts a gallery application and displays a first interface of the gallery application.
[0189] In one example, as shown in FIG1 , a user clicks on interface 101 of electronic device 100 to display an icon 102 for a gallery application. In response to the user's click, electronic device 100 launches the gallery application. The display interface of electronic device 100 then switches to interface 103 (i.e., interface 1) shown in FIG2 , which displays multiple images.
[0190] S810: The electronic device receives operation 1 on interface 1 of the gallery application, where operation 1 is used to trigger display of a first view on interface 2.
[0191] The first view may include a month view or a year view. Of course, the first view is not limited to the above examples, and the present embodiment does not make any specific limitations.
[0192] Among them, operation one may include a sliding operation, a pressing operation, a clicking operation, and a two-finger zooming operation. Among them, the sliding operation may include a single-finger sliding operation or a multi-finger sliding operation. Exemplarily, operation one may include a sliding operation of two fingers of the user along the arrow on the interface 103 as shown in Figure 2.
[0193] That is, the operation is used to switch view scenes. For example, as shown in FIG2 , when the user slides along the arrow on interface 103 once, the interface of the gallery application displays the month view. Based on this, when the user slides along the arrow on interface 103 again, the interface display of the gallery application switches from the month view to the year view.
[0194] Of course, this operation is not limited to switching view scenes, but can also be used to browse views. For example, as shown in FIG4, when the user presses the control 107 on the year view interface shown in FIG4 along the arrow or arrow When sliding, the interface 104 of the electronic device 100 sequentially displays views of each year. Alternatively, the user can operate the interface on the year view interface shown in FIG4 , for example, the user can move the arrow keys on the interface. or arrow In response to the user operation, the interface 104 of the electronic device 100 sequentially displays views of each year. Of course, there may be other situations, which are not specifically limited in the embodiment of the present application.
[0195] S820: In response to operation 1, the electronic device determines a first display area corresponding to the first view, where the first display area includes a first position for displaying a thumbnail of a target image.
[0196] In one example, the target image's thumbnail can be understood as the thumbnail of the target image in the first group under the first view. That is, for the same image, the thumbnail corresponding to it is different in different views. For example, in the month view, the target image corresponds to a 265*265 pixel thumbnail; in the year view, the target image corresponds to a 64*64 pixel thumbnail.
[0197] In one example, the layout, size, dimensions and other information of the first display area are pre-set. The first display area may include multiple first positions, each first position corresponding to the position of a thumbnail. It can be understood that the first display area is control one, the first position can be understood as control two, and the control one is composed of multiple control twos. Each control two can be bound to the image feature of a thumbnail. Of course, the first display area is different in different views. For example, in the year view scenario, the first display area can consist of 5 rows and 16 columns. That is to say, the display area of the first interface can display 80 thumbnails.
[0198] In one implementation, S820 may include: S821 and S822. Specifically, S821 and S822 may be implemented as follows: S821. The electronic device pre-stores the correspondence between each view and the operation information. When the electronic device receives operation one, the electronic device may determine the first view corresponding to operation one based on the operation information of operation one and the correspondence between each view and the operation information. S822. The electronic device pre-stores the correspondence between each view and the display area. After determining the first view, the electronic device may determine the first display area corresponding to the first view.
[0199] In one specific implementation, as shown in FIG6 , S820 may specifically be: ⑥ In response to operation 1, the electronic device determines a first display area corresponding to the first view, where the first display area includes a first position for displaying a thumbnail of the target image. Simultaneously, the electronic device sends a thumbnail refresh request to a reading module of the gallery application, where the request may carry grouping information corresponding to the target image.
[0200] S830: The electronic device reads the spliced large image corresponding to the first group to which the target image belongs according to the group information corresponding to the target image, to obtain image features of the thumbnail of the target image, where the spliced large image includes the image features of the thumbnail of the target image.
[0201] As described in the first stage, the thumbnails of multiple pictures applied by the gallery of the electronic device are grouped, and the grouping information and / or picture information are recorded. The grouping information may include at least one of the following: the group identifier, the view scene identifier, the picture acquisition time in each group, the number of thumbnails corresponding to the view scene, the identifier of each picture, etc. The picture information may include at least one of the following: the identifier of the target picture, the target picture size, the target picture acquisition time, the identifier of the group to which the target picture belongs, the identifier of the thumbnail of the target picture, and the order of the target picture in the group. Based on this, the electronic device can determine the target picture that needs to be refreshed and displayed at the first position and the identifier of the group to which the target picture belongs based on the first position; the electronic device then obtains the image features of the thumbnail corresponding to the target picture on the spliced large picture corresponding to the group identifier based on the group identifier and the order of the target picture in the group, that is, obtains the image features of the thumbnail of the target picture corresponding to the first position.
[0202] In this way, the electronic device can read the spliced large image corresponding to the group where the target image is located, that is, read the group corresponding to the target image as a whole, and can read thumbnails of multiple images at a time, effectively preventing the reading of thumbnails one by one and reducing the resource consumption of the electronic device.
[0203] In a specific implementation, as shown in FIG6 , S830 may specifically be: ⑦ the reading module in the gallery application of the electronic device reads the information of the spliced large image corresponding to the target image from the storage space according to the group identifier.
[0204] In a specific implementation, as shown in FIG8-2 , S830 may include: S831 , S832 , S833 , S834 , S835 , and S836 (some of which are optional). Specifically, S831 , S832 , S833 , S834 , S835 , and S836 may include:
[0205] In some examples, the target image may be a newly added image on the electronic device, and the image does not participate in the operations described in the first stage. Therefore, the target image may not have a corresponding group or a corresponding spliced large image. Therefore, the electronic device needs to determine whether the target image has a corresponding spliced large image, which is specifically implemented as S831, as follows:
[0206] S831: The electronic device determines whether a large mosaic image corresponding to the target image exists. If so, S832 is executed. If not, the electronic device reads and decodes the target image from the database and performs rendering and display operations.
[0207] Specifically, the electronic device can determine whether there is a group identifier corresponding to the first group to which the target image belongs based on the target image and the grouping information stored in the storage space. When the electronic device does not find the group identifier corresponding to the target image, the electronic device determines that there is no group corresponding to the target image. When the electronic device finds the group identifier corresponding to the target image, the electronic device determines that there is a group corresponding to the target image. The electronic device determines whether there is a spliced large image corresponding to the first group to which the target image belongs based on the group identifier corresponding to the target image; when the electronic device does not find the spliced large image corresponding to the first group, the electronic device determines that there is no spliced large image corresponding to the target image. When the electronic device finds the spliced large image corresponding to the first group, the electronic device determines that there is a spliced large image corresponding to the target image.
[0208] In some examples, in order to avoid redundant operations and make full use of the decoded data in the memory space to improve efficiency. The electronic device needs to further determine whether the spliced large image corresponding to the target image is read or decoded in the memory space. If the electronic device determines that the spliced large image corresponding to the target image is read or decoded in the memory space, the electronic device can directly obtain the image features of the thumbnail corresponding to the target image on the spliced large image. In this way, redundant operations are effectively avoided and the decoded data in the memory space is fully utilized. Therefore, the electronic device needs to further determine whether the spliced large image corresponding to the target image is read or decoded in the memory space. The specific implementation is as follows:
[0209] S832: The electronic device determines whether the spliced large image corresponding to the target image has been read or decoded in the memory space. If the spliced large image corresponding to the target image has not been read or decoded in the memory space, the electronic device executes S833; if the spliced large image corresponding to the target image has been read or decoded in the memory space, the electronic device executes S836.
[0210] In a specific implementation method, the electronic device searches for information about whether there is a spliced large image corresponding to the target image in the memory space. For example, the electronic device can access the memory space to see whether there are image features of the thumbnails contained in the spliced large image. If so, the electronic device can determine that the spliced large image corresponding to the target image is read or decoded in the memory space. Otherwise, the electronic device determines that the spliced large image corresponding to the target image is not read or decoded in the memory space. Of course, in the embodiments of the present application, it is not limited to the above enumeration, and they are not listed one by one here.
[0211] In a specific implementation, as shown in FIG6 , S832 may specifically be: ⑧ After the reading module reads the spliced large image corresponding to the target image, the reading module sends information of the spliced large image to the decoding module of the electronic device.
[0212] Similarly, in some examples, in order to avoid redundant operations and improve efficiency, the electronic device needs to further determine whether the spliced large image corresponding to the target image is being read or decoded. If the spliced large image corresponding to the target image is being read or decoded, then wait for the spliced large image to be read or decoded to be completed, and there is no need to read or decode the spliced large image corresponding to the target image again, effectively avoiding redundant operations and improving efficiency. Therefore, the electronic device needs to further determine whether the spliced large image corresponding to the target image is being read or decoded, and the specific implementation is as follows:
[0213] S833: The electronic device determines whether the spliced large image corresponding to the target image is being read or decoded. If so, S834 is executed; if not, S835 is executed.
[0214] That is, whether the electronic device is requesting to read and decode other thumbnails in the mosaic image corresponding to the target image. In other words, whether the electronic device is requesting to read and decode the mosaic image corresponding to the target image for the first time based on the target image.
[0215] S834: The electronic device waits for the mosaic image corresponding to the target image to be decoded.
[0216] S835. The electronic device reads and decodes the spliced large image corresponding to the target image into a memory space.
[0217] In a specific implementation method, combined with Figure 6, S835 can be specifically as follows: ⑨ The decoding module of the electronic device decodes the spliced large image corresponding to the target image read by the reading module to obtain the image features of each thumbnail contained in the spliced large image corresponding to the target image.
[0218] S836. The position of the thumbnail corresponding to the electronic device target image on the large stitched image, and obtaining image features of the thumbnail in the area corresponding to the position on the large stitched image.
[0219] In one specific implementation, S836 can be implemented as follows: the electronic device can directly obtain the image features of the thumbnail of the target image in the memory space based on the target image. In another specific implementation, S836 can be implemented as follows: the electronic device extracts the image features of the thumbnail from the corresponding area at the corresponding position of the spliced large image based on the position (or sorting) of the target image in the first group. Among them, the generation of the spliced large image and its related description refer to the relevant description in the first stage and will not be repeated here.
[0220] For example, the electronic device searches for the image features in the large stitched image through the posInGroup field in the gallery_media image information main table as shown in Table 4 of the target image, and can directly read the image features of the corresponding area [64*pos,0,64*pos+64,64] of the large stitched image, where pos is the order of the target image. Similarly, the electronic device searches for the image features in the large stitched image through the posInGroup field in the gallery_media image information main table of other images in the first group, and can directly read the image features corresponding to the area [(posInGroup%n)*64,(posInGroup / n)*64,(posInGroup%n)*64+64,(posInGroup / n)*64+64] of the large stitched image. In this way, the electronic device can obtain the image features of the thumbnails of each image in the memory space.
[0221] In a specific implementation method, combined with what is shown in FIG6 , S836 may specifically be: ⑩ The drawing module of the electronic device extracts the image features of the thumbnail in the area corresponding to the position of the target image in the first group (that is, the position of the thumbnail corresponding to the target image on the spliced large image) on the spliced large image.
[0222] In this application, the position of the thumbnail corresponding to the target image on the spliced large image is determined, and the image features of the thumbnail in the area corresponding to the position on the spliced large image are extracted. The extraction of thumbnails on the spliced large image is completed in the memory. Compared with decoding each thumbnail individually, the decoding performance is significantly improved, and the speed of thumbnail refresh display is greatly improved, thereby achieving the purpose of significantly reducing or even eliminating white blocks.
[0223] In another specific implementation, the difference from the implementation shown in FIG8-2 is that after the electronic device executes S831, it also executes S837, S838, and S839. That is, S830 may include: S831, S837, S838, and S839 (some of which are optional). Specifically, S837, S838, and S839 may include:
[0224] In S831, the electronic device determines whether there is a spliced large image corresponding to the target image. If the electronic device has a spliced large image corresponding to the target image. The electronic device needs to further determine whether the spliced large image has been requested for decoding by other images in the group. In this way, when the images in the same group are refreshed and displayed, the spliced large image is requested for decoding. After that, the other images in the group do not need to request decoding again, eliminating the operation of requesting the same spliced large image in large quantities for the same group. For detailed description, please refer to S837, S838 and S839, specifically:
[0225] S837: When the electronic device determines that there is a large spliced image corresponding to the target image, the electronic device reads grouping information corresponding to the large spliced image.
[0226] That is, the electronic device reads the group identifier of the first group to which the target image belongs. The electronic device can determine information about the spliced large image corresponding to the group identifier based on the group identifier. For example, the information about the spliced large image may include whether the spliced large image has been decoded, the image identifier of the spliced large image for which decoding is requested, and the like.
[0227] S838: The electronic device determines whether a thumbnail decoding request has been issued for the pictures in the first group corresponding to the spliced large image. If a thumbnail decoding request has not been issued for the pictures in the first group, execute S839.
[0228] That is, the electronic device determines whether other images in the first group have sent a request to read the first spliced large image corresponding to the first group. If other images have sent a request to read the first spliced large image corresponding to the first group, the electronic device obtains the first spliced large image corresponding to the first group stored in the memory.
[0229] S839. The electronic device reads and decodes the spliced large image corresponding to the target image into a memory space.
[0230] That is, if other pictures do not send a request to read the first spliced large image corresponding to the first group, the first spliced large image is read according to the group identifier of the first group and stored in the memory.
[0231] Based on the above-mentioned implementation steps of S830, the electronic device can obtain the image features of the thumbnails corresponding to multiple pictures. Afterwards, the view display method provided in the embodiment of the present application may also include: S840, the electronic device binds multiple positions in the first display area to the image features of the corresponding thumbnails. In a specific implementation method, in combination with Figure 6, S840 can be specifically as follows: ⑩ The drawing module binds the image features of the thumbnail of the target picture to the first position. S850, the electronic device renders the image features of the corresponding thumbnails at these positions and displays these thumbnails. In a specific implementation method, in combination with Figure 6, S850 can be specifically as follows: The rendering module of the GPU renders the image features of the thumbnail of the target image at the first position and displays it on the display screen 280. In this way, the electronic device can obtain the following display effect:
[0232] Display effect 1: The electronic device directly binds the image features and position of the thumbnail, and renders and displays it. Specifically:
[0233] S840 may be specifically implemented as follows: the electronic device binds the image feature of the thumbnail corresponding to the target image to the first position.
[0234] In simple terms, the electronic device draws the image features of the thumbnail corresponding to the target image at the first position of the first display area.
[0235] In a specific implementation manner, as shown in FIG6 , S840 may specifically be: ⑩ The drawing module binds the image feature of the thumbnail of the target image to the first position.
[0236] S850 may be specifically implemented as follows: the electronic device renders the image features of the thumbnail of the target image bound at the first position, and displays the thumbnail of the target image at the first position in the first display area.
[0237] That is, the electronic device renders the image features of the thumbnail of the target image bound at the first position to obtain the thumbnail of the target image, and displays it at the first position of the first display area.
[0238] For example, as shown in FIG9 , the electronic device extracts the image features of thumbnail W from the stitched large image 1, binds the extracted image features of thumbnail W to position 1 of the interface 104 of the electronic device's gallery application, and renders and displays the image features, thereby obtaining thumbnail W displayed on the interface as shown in FIG9 . Similarly, the electronic device extracts the image features of thumbnail S from the stitched large image 1, binds the extracted image features of thumbnail S to position 2 of the interface 104 of the electronic device's gallery application, and renders and displays the image features, thereby obtaining thumbnail S displayed on the interface as shown in FIG9 . Similarly, the electronic device extracts the image features of thumbnail R from the stitched large image 1, binds the extracted image features of thumbnail R to position 3 of the interface 104 of the electronic device's gallery application, and renders and displays the image features, thereby obtaining thumbnail R displayed on the interface as shown in FIG9 .
[0239] In a specific implementation manner, as shown in FIG6 , S851 may specifically be: The rendering module of the GPU renders the image features of the thumbnail of the target image at the first position and displays it through the display screen 280 .
[0240] In an embodiment of the present application, by binding the image features of the thumbnail corresponding to the target image to the first position and rendering and displaying them, the image features of each thumbnail extracted from the spliced large image are rendered and displayed in the first display area, thereby achieving the purpose of significantly reducing or even eliminating white blocks.
[0241] Display effect 2: The electronic device binds the image features of the thumbnails on the corresponding large mosaic image in the first group to which the target image belongs to the first display area, and renders and displays them. Specifically:
[0242] S840 may be specifically implemented as follows: the electronic device determines image features of each thumbnail image on the spliced large image corresponding to the first group to which the target image belongs.
[0243] Specifically, the electronic device determines the image features of each thumbnail in the spliced large image according to the spliced large image corresponding to the target image, which includes the image features of the thumbnail of the target image.
[0244] S850 can be specifically implemented as follows: the electronic device binds the image features of each thumbnail on the spliced large image to area 1 of the first display area in sequence, and renders the image features of each thumbnail on area 1 to display each thumbnail on area 1.
[0245] Exemplarily, when the positions of the stitched large image and the pictures in the group are consistent, as shown in FIG10 , the electronic device moves the image features of all thumbnails N1 to N64 of the stitched large image 2 to the interface 104 of the gallery application of the electronic device, and renders and displays them, obtaining thumbnails N1 to N64 of an area displayed on the interface as shown in FIG10 .
[0246] In a specific implementation manner, as shown in FIG6 , S850 may specifically be: ⑩ The drawing module sequentially binds the image features of each thumbnail on the spliced large image to area 1 of the first display area. The rendering module of the GPU renders the image features of each thumbnail on area 1 and displays them through the display screen 280.
[0247] In this application, the electronic device draws the image features of each thumbnail on the mosaic image corresponding to the first group of the target image in area 1 as a whole, and renders the image features of these thumbnails once. This eliminates the need for multiple requests for the same mosaic image from the same group, saves the overhead of extracting and returning each thumbnail from the mosaic image, and reduces the load on the interface thread. This further significantly reduces white blocks, or even eliminates them, and further reduces the load on the electronic device, solving problems such as lag, heat, and rapid power consumption.
[0248] Display effect three: the electronic device binds the image features of some thumbnails in the spliced large image corresponding to the first group to which the target image belongs to the first display area, and renders and displays the first display area. Specifically:
[0249] S840 may be specifically implemented as follows: the electronic device determines image features of each thumbnail image on the spliced large image corresponding to the first group to which the target image belongs.
[0250] Please refer to the above S840 for details, which will not be repeated in the embodiments of this application.
[0251] S850 can be specifically implemented as follows: the electronic device binds the image features of each thumbnail in the first area of the spliced large image to area one of the first display area, binds the image features of each thumbnail in the second area of the spliced large image to area two of the first display area, and renders the image features of each thumbnail in area one and area two to display each thumbnail in area one and area two.
[0252] For example, as shown in FIG11 , the electronic device moves the image features of all thumbnails P1-P32 in the first area and all thumbnails M1-M32 in the second area in the spliced large image 3 to the interface 104 of the gallery application of the electronic device, and renders and displays them, resulting in thumbnails P1-P32 of an area and thumbnails M1-M32 of an area displayed on the interface as shown in FIG11 .
[0253] In a specific implementation method, combined with Figure 6, S850 can be specifically as follows: ⑩ The drawing module binds the image features of each thumbnail in the first area of the spliced large image to area one of the first display area, and binds the image features of each thumbnail in the second area of the spliced large image to area two of the first display area. The rendering module of the GPU renders the image features of each thumbnail in area 1 and area 2, and displays them through the display screen 280 .
[0254] In this application, the electronic device moves the image features of the thumbnails in some areas of the spliced large image corresponding to the target thumbnail group as a whole, which can adapt to the scene where some pictures are deleted. In this way, the thumbnails corresponding to the pictures that are not deleted in the spliced large image can be moved as a whole to the corresponding area on the interface for display, so that the thumbnails of adjacent pictures can be displayed on the interface of the electronic device as much as possible. At the same time, the operation of requesting a large number of the same spliced large image for the same group is eliminated, and the white blocks are greatly reduced or even eliminated. In addition, the load of the electronic device is further reduced, solving problems such as freezing, heating and fast power consumption.
[0255] In some examples, when the image feature of a thumbnail in the large mosaic image is invalid, the electronic device can skip the image feature of the thumbnail. Specifically, S850 can be implemented as follows: the electronic device detects the validity of each image in the first group. When it is detected that the first image in the first group is deleted, the electronic device can determine that the first image is invalid. At this time, the electronic device arranges the image features of the large mosaic image other than the image feature of the thumbnail corresponding to the first image in sequence and binds them to the first display area.
[0256] For example, as shown in FIG12 , the electronic device detects that the image feature of thumbnail P10 in zone 1 of the large mosaic image 3 is invalid. At this time, the electronic device arranges the thumbnails P1-P9 and thumbnails P11-P32 in zone 1 of the large mosaic image 3 in sequence on zone 1, and renders and displays them. The electronic device moves the image features of all thumbnails M1-M32 in zone 2 of the large mosaic image 3 to zone 2, and renders and displays them, resulting in an interface showing thumbnails P1-P9 and P11-P32 of a zone and thumbnails M1-M32 of a zone as shown in FIG12 .
[0257] In this application, when an image fails, the electronic device can skip the image features of the failed image's thumbnail when moving the image features of the entire mosaic, allowing the thumbnails of adjacent images to be displayed on the electronic device's interface as much as possible. This also eliminates the need for multiple requests for the same mosaic image from the same group, significantly reducing or eliminating white blocks. Furthermore, this further reduces the load on the electronic device, solving problems such as freezing, overheating, and rapid power consumption.
[0258] Display effect 4: The electronic device creates a second large mosaic image for rendering and display, and then renders and displays the image on the first large mosaic image.
[0259] S860. The electronic device creates a large image for rendering and display based on the arrangement of the thumbnails on the gallery application interface.
[0260] In other words, the electronic device creates a second spliced large image according to the arrangement order of the thumbnails in the first group on the first display area, and the second spliced large image is the large image used for rendering and display.
[0261] That is, on the interface of the gallery application, a second stitched large image is created according to the arrangement order of the images in the first group and the display area of the thumbnails of the images in the first group.
[0262] S870: The electronic device draws the image features of the thumbnail corresponding to the target image in the area on the spliced large image according to the position of the thumbnail on the spliced large image.
[0263] In other words, the electronic device directly draws the image features of each thumbnail in the corresponding area on the first large spliced image on the second large spliced image.
[0264] That is, the electronic device binds the image features of each thumbnail in the corresponding area of the first large mosaic image to the corresponding areas of the second large mosaic image. The electronic device transmits the second large mosaic image to the GPU for rendering and displays it on the display screen.
[0265] For example, as shown in FIG13 , the electronic device creates a mosaic image 4 on the interface 105 of the gallery application. The electronic device then transfers the image features of each thumbnail in the mosaic image 5 to the mosaic image 4. The electronic device then transmits the mosaic image 4 and its image features to the GPU for rendering and displays them on the display screen.
[0266] In this application, we further optimized the UI thread, eliminating the need for multiple requests for the same large mosaic image from the same group. We also changed the process from extracting and returning thumbnail areas to stitching the large image for rendering and display to drawing the mosaic image area directly on the large image used for rendering and display, eliminating the overhead of extracting and returning thumbnails. This reduced the load on the UI thread.
