[0071] System General

[0072] As more and more communication devices demand greater communication capacity, the need for improved mobile broadband communications compared to existing radio access technologies (RATs) is emerging. Furthermore, massive Machine Type Communications (MTC), which connects numerous devices and objects to provide diverse services anytime, anywhere, is also a key issue to be considered in next-generation communications. Furthermore, communication system design that considers reliability and latency-sensitive services / terminals is being discussed. Accordingly, the introduction of next-generation RATs that consider enhanced mobile broadband communication (eMBB), massive MTC (MMTC), and Ultra-Reliable and Low Latency Communication (URLLC) is being discussed. For convenience, these technologies are referred to as NR in this disclosure. NR is an expression representing an example of 5G RAT.

[0073] A new RAT system, including NR, uses OFDM or a similar transmission scheme. The new RAT system may follow OFDM parameters different from those of LTE. Alternatively, the new RAT system may follow the existing LTE / LTE-A numerology but support a larger system bandwidth (e.g., 100 MHz). Alternatively, a single cell may support multiple numerologies. That is, terminals operating under different numerologies can coexist within a single cell.

[0074] A numerology corresponds to a single subcarrier spacing in the frequency domain. Different numerologies can be defined by scaling the reference subcarrier spacing by an integer N.

[0075] Figure 1 illustrates the structure of a wireless communication system to which the present disclosure can be applied.

[0076] Referring to Fig. 1, the NG-RAN consists of gNBs that provide NG-RA (NG-Radio Access) user plane (i.e., new AS (access stratum) sublayer / PDCP (Packet Data Convergence Protocol) / RLC (Radio Link Control) / MAC / PHY) and control plane (RRC) protocol termination for UE. The gNBs are interconnected via Xn interfaces. The gNBs are also connected to the NGC (New Generation Core) via the NG interface. More specifically, the gNBs are connected to the AMF (Access and Mobility Management Function) via the N2 interface and to the UPF (User Plane Function) via the N3 interface.

[0077] FIG. 2 illustrates a frame structure in a wireless communication system to which the present disclosure can be applied.

[0078] NR systems can support multiple numerologies. Numerologies can be defined by subcarrier spacing and cyclic prefix (CP) overhead. Multiple subcarrier spacings can be derived by scaling the base (reference) subcarrier spacing by an integer N (or μ). Furthermore, even if it is assumed that very low subcarrier spacing is not used at very high carrier frequencies, the numerology used can be selected independently of the frequency band. Furthermore, NR systems can support various frame structures corresponding to multiple numerologies.

[0079] Below, we examine OFDM numerologies and frame structures that can be considered in NR systems. The various OFDM numerologies supported in NR systems can be defined as shown in Table 1 below.

[0080] μΔf=2 μ ·15 [kHz]CP015 Normal 130 Normal 260 Normal, Extended 3120 Normal 4240 Normal

[0081] NR supports multiple numerologies (or subcarrier spacing (SCS)) to support various 5G services. For example, when the SCS is 15 kHz, it supports a wide area in traditional cellular bands. When the SCS is 30 kHz / 60 kHz, it supports dense urban areas, lower latency, and wider carrier bandwidth. When the SCS is 60 kHz or higher, it supports a bandwidth larger than 24.25 GHz to overcome phase noise. The NR frequency band is defined by two types of frequency ranges (FR1, FR2). FR1 and FR2 can be configured as shown in Table 2 below. In addition, FR2 can mean millimeter wave (mmW).

[0082] Frequency Range Designation Corresponding Frequency Range Subcarrier Spacing FR1410MHz - 7125MHz 15, 30, 60kHz FR224250MHz - 52600MHz 60, 120, 240kHz

[0083] Regarding the frame structure in the NR system, the sizes of the various fields in the time domain are T c =1 / (Δf max ·N f ) is expressed as a multiple of the time unit. Here, Δf max =480·10 3 Hz and N f =4096. Downlink and uplink transmissions are T f =1 / (Δf max Nf / 100)·T c = It is organized into radio frames with a duration of 10ms. Here, each radio frame is T sf =(Δf max N f / 1000)·T c =1ms It consists of 10 subframes with an interval of . In this case, there may be one set of frames for uplink and one set of frames for downlink. In addition, transmission in uplink frame number i from a terminal is T earlier than the start of the corresponding downlink frame from the terminal. TA =(N TA +N TA,offset )T c It should start before. For the subcarrier spacing configuration μ, slots are n within a subframe. s μ ∈{0,..., N slot subframe,μ-1} are numbered in increasing order, and n within a radio frame. s,f μ ∈{0,..., N slot frame,μ -1} are numbered in increasing order. One slot is N symb slot It consists of consecutive OFDM symbols, and N symb slot is determined by CP. Slot n in subframe s μ The start of OFDM symbol n in the same subframe s μ N symb slot are aligned temporally with the start of the OFDM signal. Not all terminals can transmit and receive simultaneously, which means that not all OFDM symbols in a downlink slot or uplink slot can be utilized.

[0084] Table 3 shows the number of OFDM symbols per slot in a general CP (N symb slot ), the number of slots per wireless frame (N slot frame,μ ), number of slots per subframe (N slot subframe,μ), and Table 4 shows the number of OFDM symbols per slot in the extended CP, the number of slots per radio frame, and the number of slots per subframe.

[0086] μN symb slot N slot frame,μ N slot subframe,μ212404

[0087] FIG. 2 is an example when μ=2 (SCS is 60 kHz), and referring to Table 3, 1 subframe can include 4 slots. 1 subframe={1,2,4} slots illustrated in FIG. 2 is an example, and the number of slot(s) that can be included in 1 subframe is defined as in Table 3 or Table 4. In addition, a mini-slot can include 2, 4, or 7 symbols, or more or fewer symbols. With respect to physical resources in an NR system, antenna ports, resource grids, resource elements, resource blocks, carrier parts, etc. can be considered. Hereinafter, the physical resources that can be considered in an NR system will be described in detail. First, with respect to antenna ports, antenna ports are defined such that the channel through which a symbol on an antenna port is carried can be inferred from the channel through which another symbol on the same antenna port is carried. Two antenna ports are said to be in a QC / QCL (quasi co-located or quasi co-location) relationship if the large-scale properties of the channel through which a symbol on one antenna port is carried can be inferred from the channel through which a symbol on another antenna port is carried. Here, the large-scale properties include one or more of delay spread, Doppler spread, frequency shift, average received power, and received timing.

[0088] FIG. 3 illustrates a resource grid in a wireless communication system to which the present disclosure can be applied.

[0089] Referring to Figure 3, the resource grid is N in the frequency domain. RB μ N sc RB It consists of subcarriers, and one subframe is 14·2 μ It is described as an example of being composed of OFDM symbols, but is not limited thereto.

[0090] In the NR system, the transmitted signal is N RB μ N sc RB One or more resource grids consisting of subcarriers and 2 μ N symb (μ) is described by OFDM symbols. Here, N RB μ≤ N RB max,μ is. The above N RB max,μ represents the maximum transmission bandwidth, which may vary between uplink and downlink as well as between numerologies. In this case, one resource grid may be configured for μ and each antenna port p. Each element of the resource grid for μ and each antenna port p is referred to as a resource element and is uniquely identified by an index pair (k, l'). Here, k=0,...,N RB μ N sc RB -1 is the index in the frequency domain, and l'=0,...,2 μ N symb (μ) -1 indicates the position of the symbol within the subframe. When referring to a resource element in a slot, an index pair (k,l) is used. Here, l=0,...,N symb μ-1. The resource element (k,l') for μ and antenna port p is a complex value a k,l' (p,μ) . If there is no risk of confusion or if a particular antenna port or numerology is not specified, the indices p and μ can be dropped, resulting in a complex value of a k,l' (p) or a k,l' This can be. Also, a resource block (RB) is N in the frequency domain. sc RB =12 is defined as consecutive subcarriers.

[0091] Point A serves as a common reference point of the resource block grid and is obtained as follows.

[0092] - offsetToPointA for the Primary Cell (PCell) downlink represents the frequency offset between point A and the lowest subcarrier of the lowest resource block overlapping the SS / PBCH block used by the UE for initial cell selection. It is expressed in resource block units assuming 15 kHz subcarrier spacing for FR1 and 60 kHz subcarrier spacing for FR2.

[0093] - absoluteFrequencyPointA represents the frequency-position of point A expressed as ARFCN (absolute radio-frequency channel number).

[0094] Common resource blocks (CRBs) are numbered from 0 upwards in the frequency domain for a subcarrier spacing setting μ. The center of subcarrier 0 of CRB 0 for a subcarrier spacing setting μ coincides with 'point A'. CRB number n in the frequency domain CRB μ The relationship between the resource elements (k,l) and the subcarrier spacing setting μ is given by the following mathematical expression 1.

[0095]

[0096] In Equation 1, k is defined relative to point A such that k = 0 corresponds to the subcarrier centered at point A. Physical resource blocks are numbered from 0 to N within the bandwidth part (BWP). BWP,i size,μ - Numbered from -1, where i is the number of the BWP. Physical resource block n in BWP i PRB and common resource block n CRB The relationship between them is given by the mathematical formula 2 below.

[0097]

[0098] N BWP,i start,μ is a common resource block where BWP starts relative to common resource block 0.

[0099] FIG. 4 illustrates a physical resource block in a wireless communication system to which the present disclosure can be applied. FIG. 5 illustrates a slot structure in a wireless communication system to which the present disclosure can be applied.

[0100] Referring to FIGS. 4 and 5, a slot includes multiple symbols in the time domain. For example, in the case of a normal CP, one slot includes seven symbols, but in the case of an extended CP, one slot includes six symbols.

[0101] A carrier comprises multiple subcarriers in the frequency domain. An RB (Resource Block) is defined as multiple (e.g., 12) consecutive subcarriers in the frequency domain. A BWP (Bandwidth Part) is defined as multiple consecutive (physical) resource blocks in the frequency domain, and can correspond to a single numerology (e.g., SCS, CP length, etc.). A carrier can comprise up to N (e.g., 5) BWPs. Data communication is performed through activated BWPs, and only one BWP can be activated for a single terminal. Each element in the resource grid is referred to as a Resource Element (RE), to which one complex symbol can be mapped.

[0102] The NR system can support up to 400 MHz per component carrier (CC). If a terminal operating in such a wideband CC always operates with the radio frequency (RF) chip for the entire CC turned on, the terminal battery consumption may increase. Alternatively, when considering multiple use cases operating within a single wideband CC (e.g., eMBB, URLLC, Mmtc, V2X, etc.), different numerologies (e.g., subcarrier spacing, etc.) may be supported for each frequency band within the CC. Alternatively, each terminal may have different maximum bandwidth capabilities. Considering this, the base station can instruct the terminal to operate only on a portion of the bandwidth rather than the entire bandwidth of the wideband CC, and this portion of bandwidth is conveniently defined as the bandwidth part (BWP). A BWP can be composed of consecutive RBs on the frequency axis and can correspond to a single numerology (e.g., subcarrier spacing, CP length, slot / mini-slot interval).

[0103] Meanwhile, the base station can configure multiple BWPs even within a single CC configured for a UE. For example, a BWP occupying a relatively small frequency range can be configured in the PDCCH monitoring slot, and the PDSCH indicated by the PDCCH can be scheduled on a larger BWP. Alternatively, if UEs are concentrated on a specific BWP, some UEs can be configured on a different BWP for load balancing. Alternatively, considering frequency domain inter-cell interference cancellation between neighboring cells, a portion of the overall bandwidth can be excluded, and both BWPs can be configured within the same slot.

[0104] That is, the base station can configure at least one DL / UL BWP for a terminal associated with a wideband CC. The base station can activate at least one DL / UL BWP among the DL / UL BWP(s) configured at a specific point in time (by L1 signaling or MAC CE (Control Element) or RRC signaling, etc.). In addition, the base station can instruct switching to another configured DL / UL BWP (by L1 signaling or MAC CE or RRC signaling, etc.). Alternatively, switching to a predetermined DL / UL BWP may be performed when a timer value expires based on a timer. In this case, the activated DL / UL BWP is defined as an active DL / UL BWP. However, since the terminal may not receive the configuration for the DL / UL BWP when performing the initial access process or before the RRC connection is set up, the DL / UL BWP assumed by the terminal in such a situation is defined as the initially active DL / UL BWP.

[0105] FIG. 6 illustrates physical channels used in a wireless communication system to which the present disclosure can be applied and a general signal transmission and reception method using the same.

[0106] In wireless communication systems, terminals receive information from a base station via the downlink and transmit it to the base station via the uplink. The information transmitted and received between the base station and terminals includes data and various control information, and various physical channels exist depending on the type and purpose of the information being transmitted and received.

[0107] When a terminal is powered on or enters a new cell, it performs an initial cell search operation, such as synchronizing with the base station (S601). To this end, the terminal receives a primary synchronization signal (PSS) and a secondary synchronization signal (SSS) from the base station to synchronize with the base station and obtain information such as a cell identifier (ID). Afterwards, the terminal can receive a physical broadcast channel (PBCH) from the base station to obtain broadcast information within the cell. Meanwhile, the terminal can receive a downlink reference signal (DL RS) during the initial cell search phase to check the downlink channel status.

[0108] A terminal that has completed initial cell search can obtain more specific system information by receiving a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) and a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) according to information included in the PDCCH (S602).

[0109] Meanwhile, when accessing a base station for the first time or when there are no radio resources for signal transmission, the terminal may perform a random access procedure (RACH) for the base station (steps S603 to S606). To this end, the terminal may transmit a specific sequence as a preamble via the Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH) (steps S603 and S605) and receive a response message to the preamble via the Physical Data Channel Control Channel (PDCCH) and the corresponding PDSCH (steps S604 and S606). In the case of a contention-based RACH, a contention resolution procedure (Contention Resolution Procedure) may additionally be performed.

[0110] The terminal that has performed the procedure described above can then perform PDCCH / PDSCH reception (S607) and physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) / physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) transmission (S608) as general uplink / downlink signal transmission procedures. In particular, the terminal receives downlink control information (DCI) through the PDCCH. Here, DCI includes control information such as resource allocation information for the terminal, and its format varies depending on the purpose of use.

[0111] Meanwhile, the control information that the terminal transmits to the base station via the uplink or that the terminal receives from the base station includes downlink / uplink ACK / NACK (Acknowledgement / Non-Acknowledgement) signals, CQI (Channel Quality Indicator), PMI (Precoding Matrix Indicator), RI (Rank Indicator), etc. In the case of the 3GPP LTE system, the terminal can transmit the above-described control information such as CQI / PMI / RI via PUSCH and / or PUCCH.

[0112] Table 5 shows an example of the DCI format in the NR system.

[0113] DCI Format Utilization 0_0 Scheduling of PUSCH within a cell 0_1 Scheduling of one or multiple PUSCH within a cell, or indicating cell group (CG: cell group) downlink feedback information to the UE 0_2 Scheduling of PUSCH within a cell 1_0 Scheduling of PDSCH within a DL cell 1_1 Scheduling of PDSCH within a cell 1_2 Scheduling of PDSCH within a cell

[0114] Referring to Table 5, DCI formats 0_0, 0_1, and 0_2 may include resource information related to scheduling of PUSCH (e.g., UL / SUL (Supplementary UL), frequency resource allocation, time resource allocation, frequency hopping, etc.), transport block (TB) related information (e.g., MCS (Modulation Coding and Scheme), NDI (New Data Indicator), RV (Redundancy Version), etc.), HARQ (Hybrid - Automatic Repeat and request) related information (e.g., process number, DAI (Downlink Assignment Index), PDSCH-HARQ feedback timing, etc.), multi-antenna related information (e.g., DMRS sequence initialization information, antenna port, CSI request, etc.), power control information (e.g., PUSCH power control, etc.), and the control information included in each DCI format may be predefined. DCI format 0_0 is used for scheduling of PUSCH in one cell. Information included in DCI format 0_0 is transmitted with CRC (cyclic redundancy check) scrambled by C-RNTI (Cell RNTI: Cell Radio Network Temporary Identifier), CS-RNTI (Configured Scheduling RNTI), or MCS-C-RNTI (Modulation Coding Scheme Cell RNTI).

[0115] DCI format 0_1 is used to indicate scheduling of one or more PUSCHs in a single cell, or configure grant (CG: configure grant) downlink feedback information to the UE. The information contained in DCI format 0_1 is CRC-scrambled and transmitted using the C-RNTI, CS-RNTI, SP-CSI-RNTI (Semi-Persistent CSI RNTI), or MCS-C-RNTI.

[0116] DCI format 0_2 is used for scheduling PUSCH in a cell. The information contained in DCI format 0_2 is CRC-scrambled and transmitted using C-RNTI, CS-RNTI, SP-CSI-RNTI, or MCS-C-RNTI.

[0117] Next, DCI formats 1_0, 1_1, and 1_2 may include resource information related to scheduling of PDSCH (e.g., frequency resource allocation, time resource allocation, virtual resource block (VRB)-physical resource block (PRB) mapping, etc.), transport block (TB) related information (e.g., MCS, NDI, RV, etc.), HARQ related information (e.g., process number, DAI, PDSCH-HARQ feedback timing, etc.), multi-antenna related information (e.g., antenna port, transmission configuration indicator (TCI), sounding reference signal (SRS) request, etc.), PUCCH related information (e.g., PUCCH power control, PUCCH resource indicator, etc.), and control information included in each DCI format may be predefined.

[0118] DCI format 1_0 is used for scheduling PDSCH in a DL cell. The information contained in DCI format 1_0 is CRC-scrambled and transmitted using C-RNTI, CS-RNTI, or MCS-C-RNTI.

[0119] DCI format 1_1 is used for scheduling PDSCH in a single cell. The information contained in DCI format 1_1 is CRC-scrambled and transmitted using C-RNTI, CS-RNTI, or MCS-C-RNTI.

[0120] DCI format 1_2 is used for scheduling PDSCH in a single cell. The information contained in DCI format 1_2 is CRC-scrambled and transmitted using C-RNTI, CS-RNTI, or MCS-C-RNTI.

[0121] Quasi-Co Location (QCL)

[0122] Antenna ports are defined such that the channel through which a symbol on an antenna port is carried can be inferred from the channel through which another symbol on the same antenna port is carried. Two antenna ports are said to be in a QC / QCL (quasi co-located or quasi co-location) relationship if the properties of the channel through which a symbol on one antenna port is carried can be inferred from the channel through which a symbol on another antenna port is carried.

[0123] Here, the channel characteristics include one or more of delay spread, Doppler spread, frequency / Doppler shift, average received power, received timing / average delay, and spatial Rx parameter. Here, the spatial Rx parameter refers to a spatial (reception) channel characteristic parameter such as angle of arrival.

[0124] A terminal may be configured with a list of up to M TCI-State settings in the upper layer parameter PDSCH-Config to decode PDSCHs based on detected PDCCHs having DCI intended for the terminal and a given serving cell. M depends on the UE capability.

[0125] Each TCI-State contains parameters for establishing a quasi co-location relationship between one or two DL reference signals and the DM-RS port of the PDSCH.

[0126] The quasi-colocation relationship is established by the upper-layer parameters qcl-Type1 for the first DL RS and qcl-Type2 (if set) for the second DL RS. For two DL RSs, the QCL types are not the same, regardless of whether the references are the same DL RS or different DL RSs.

[0127] The quasi co-location type corresponding to each DL RS is given by the higher layer parameter qcl-Type of QCL-Info, and can take one of the following values:

[0128] - 'QCL-TypeA': {Doppler shift, Doppler spread, average delay, delay spread}

[0129] - 'QCL-TypeB': {Doppler shift, Doppler spread}

[0130] - 'QCL-TypeC': {Doppler shift, average delay}

[0131] - 'QCL-TypeD': {Spatial Rx parameter}

[0132] For example, if a target antenna port is a specific NZP CSI-RS, the corresponding NZP CSI-RS antenna port(s) can be instructed / configured to be QCL with a specific TRS from a QCL-Type A perspective and with a specific SSB from a QCL-Type D perspective. A terminal that has received such an instruction / configuration can receive the corresponding NZP CSI-RS using the Doppler and delay values measured at the QCL-TypeA TRS, and apply the reception beam used for QCL-TypeD SSB reception to the corresponding NZP CSI-RS reception.

[0133] The UE can receive an activation command by MAC CE signaling, which is used to map up to eight TCI states to codepoints in the DCI field 'Transmission Configuration Indication'.

[0134] Additionally, one or more DL TCI states as well as one or more UL TCI states may be indicated together via DL DCI (e.g., DCI format 1_1 or 1_2). As another example, DL DCI may include only UL TCI states without DL TCI states. UL beam (i.e., UL spatial parameters) and power control related parameters may be indicated by the UL TCI states. For example, one UL TCI state may be indicated via the TCI field of DL DCI, and the UL TCI state may be applied to all or part of a set of PUSCH / PUCCH / SRS resources after a beam application time.

[0135] Multi-TRP related actions

[0136] Coordinated Multi-Point (CoMP) is a technique that effectively controls interference by having multiple base stations exchange (e.g., using the X2 interface) or utilize channel information (e.g., RI / CQI / PMI / LI (layer indicator)) fed back from terminals and cooperatively transmit it to terminals. Depending on the method used, CoMP can be categorized into joint transmission (JT), coordinated scheduling (CS), coordinated beamforming (CB), dynamic point selection (DPS), and dynamic point blocking (DPB).

[0137] The M-TRP transmission method, in which M TRPs transmit data to one terminal, can be broadly divided into i) eMBB M-TRP transmission, a method for increasing transmission rate, and ii) URLLC M-TRP transmission, a method for increasing reception success rate and reducing latency.

[0138] In addition, from the perspective of DCI transmission, M-TRP transmission methods can be divided into i) M-TRP transmission based on M-DCI (multiple DCI) in which each TRP transmits a different DCI, and ii) M-TRP transmission based on S-DCI (single DCI) in which one TRP transmits a DCI. For example, in the case of S-DCI-based M-TRP transmission, all scheduling information for data transmitted by an M TRP must be delivered to the terminal through a single DCI, so it can be used in an ideal backhaul (ideal BH: ideal BackHaul) environment in which dynamic cooperation between the two TRPs is possible.

[0139] The UE may recognize the PUSCH (or PUCCH) scheduled by the DCI received in different control resource sets (CORESETs) (or CORESETs belonging to different CORESET groups) as a PUSCH (or PUCCH) transmitted in different TRPs, or as a PDSCH (or PDCCH) of different TRPs. In addition, the method for UL transmission (e.g., PUSCH / PUCCH) transmitted in different TRPs, described below, can be equally applied to UL transmission (e.g., PUSCH / PUCCH) transmitted in different panels belonging to the same TRP.

[0140] Hereinafter, the CORESET group identifier (group ID) described / mentioned in the present disclosure may mean an index / identification information (e.g., ID) for distinguishing a CORESET for each TRP / panel. And the CORESET group may be a group / union of CORESETs distinguished by an index / identification information (e.g., ID) / the CORESET group ID for distinguishing a CORESET for each TRP / panel. For example, the CORESET group ID may be specific index information defined in the CORSET configuration. In this case, the CORESET group may be set / indicated / defined by an index defined in the CORESET configuration for each CORESET. And / or the CORESET group ID may mean an index / identification information / indicator for distinguishing / identifying between CORESETs set / associated with each TRP / panel. Hereinafter, the CORESET group ID described / mentioned in the present disclosure may be expressed by being replaced with a specific index / specific identification information / specific indicator for distinguishing / identifying the CORESETs set / associated in each TRP / panel. The CORESET group ID, i.e., the specific index / specific identification information / specific indicator for distinguishing / identifying the CORESETs set / associated in each TRP / panel, may be set / instructed to the terminal through higher layer signaling (e.g., RRC signaling) / second layer signaling (L2 signaling, e.g., MAC-CE) / first layer signaling (L1 signaling, e.g., DCI). For example, PDCCH detection may be set / instructed to be performed for each TRP / panel (i.e., for each TRP / panel belonging to the same CORESET group) in units of the corresponding CORESET group. And / or, uplink control information (e.g., CSI, HARQ-A / N (ACK / NACK), SR (scheduling request)) and / or uplink physical channel resources (e.g., PUCCH / PRACH / SRS resources) may be separately managed / controlled for each TRP / panel in the corresponding CORESET group (i.e., for each TRP / panel belonging to the same CORESET group). And / or, HARQ A / N (process / retransmission) for PDSCH / PUSCH, etc. scheduled for each TRP / panel in the corresponding CORESET group (i.e., for each TRP / panel belonging to the same CORESET group) may be managed.

[0141] For example, the ControlResourceSet information element (IE), which is an upper layer parameter, is used to configure a time / frequency control resource set (CORESET). For example, the control resource set (CORESET) may be related to detection and reception of downlink control information. The ControlResourceSet IE may include a CORESET-related ID (e.g., controlResourceSetID) / an index of a CORESET pool for the CORESET (e.g., CORESETPoolIndex) / time / frequency resource configuration of the CORESET / TCI information related to the CORESET, etc. For example, the index of the CORESET pool (e.g., CORESETPoolIndex) may be set to 0 or 1. In the above description, a CORESET group may correspond to a CORESET pool, and a CORESET group ID may correspond to a CORESET pool index (e.g., CORESETPoolIndex).

[0142] The Rel-17 NR standard supports (1) MTRP PDCCH repetition transmission, (2) MTRP PDCCH single frequency network (SFN) transmission, (3) MTRP PDSCH SFN transmission, (4) MTRP PUSCH repetition transmission based on S-DCI, and (4) MTRP PUCCH repetition transmission based on a single PUCCH resource. All of these transmission techniques are URLLC target enhancements for increased reliability, in which the same contents (i.e., DCI or UL / DL TB or UCI) are repeatedly transmitted. In the case of MTRP PDCCH repetitive transmission, it is repeatedly transmitted in TDM or FDM, MTRP PDCCH / PDSCH SFN is repeatedly transmitted at the same time / frequency / layer, S-DCI-based MTRP PUSCH repetitive transmission is repeatedly transmitted in TDM, and single PUCCH resource-based MTRP PUCCH repetitive transmission is repeatedly transmitted in TDM.

[0143] Simultaneous transmission across multi-panel (STxMP)

[0144] In Rel-18, the introduction of a method for UEs to simultaneously transmit multiple channels / reference signals (RSs) of the same type or multiple channels / RSs of different types is being discussed. While existing UEs are restricted from transmitting multiple channels / RSs at the same time (i.e., on the same time resource) (for example, simultaneous transmission of multiple SRS resources from different SRS resource sets for UL beam measurement is possible, but simultaneous transmission of multiple PUSCHs is not possible), this restriction may be relaxed in future advanced UEs, and future advanced UEs may be able to simultaneously transmit multiple channels or RSs using multiple transmit panels. This operation may be referred to as simultaneous transmission across multi-panels (STxMP), and a UE supporting this operation may be referred to as an STxMP UE. For example, two PUSCHs (PUSCH 1, 2) corresponding to (carrying) two UL TBs may be scheduled in the same resource element (RE) (or multiple identical REs), and spatial relation RS 1 and power control (PC) parameter set 1 (i.e., UL TCI state 1) and spatial relation RS 2 and PC parameter set 2 (i.e., UL TCI state 2) may be configured for transmission of PUSCH 1 and 2, respectively. The UE may transmit PUSCH 1 using panel 1 corresponding to UL TCI state 1, and simultaneously transmit PUSCH 2 using panel 2 corresponding to UL TCI state 2.

[0145] When scheduling a PUSCH via DCI, the base station can indicate whether the PUSCH will be transmitted in STxMP mode, in a single panel, or in M-TRP PUSCH repetition mode. In this case, the UE must have STxMP capability, and the STxMP mode (e.g., SDM method / mode or SFN method / mode) may be enabled in advance via higher layer signaling (e.g., RRC signaling). For this purpose, the existing SRS resource set indication field may be redefined and used, or a new DCI field may be introduced.

[0146] Two methods are being considered for the Rel-18 STxMP transmission technique: single frequency network (SFN) and spatial division multiplexing (SDM).

[0147] The SFN method transmits the same channel (or RS) from one panel to another. However, since the UL channel (or RS) of each panel is different, it is transmitted using a different precoder, different transmission power, and different transmission beam (i.e., spatial relation RS indicated by UL TCI) for each panel.

[0148] The SDM method is a method that can be transmitted from rank 2 and higher, and some of the multi-layers are transmitted on panel 1, and the remaining layers are transmitted on panel 2. For example, in a 2-layer transmission, the first layer can be transmitted on panel 1, and the second layer can be transmitted on panel 2. Even in this case, since the UL channels of each panel are different, different precoders, different transmission powers, and different transmission beams (i.e., spatial relation RSs indicated by UL TCI) are used for transmission for each panel.

[0149] The following operations may be supported to dynamically switch between STxMP SDM mode and sTRP transmission.

[0150] - For sTRP transmission, the maximum number of layers of sTRP transmission can be set by maxRank (or Lmax).

[0151] - For SDM mode: A single maximum number of layers (e.g., separate from maxRank (or Lmax) for sTRP) can be set, which applies separately to the first and second SRS resource sets.

[0152] The total number of PUSCH antenna ports used for SDM and sTRP may be the same, but is not limited thereto.

[0153] FIG. 7 illustrates a signaling procedure between a network and a UE for a PUSCH transmission and reception method according to one embodiment of the present disclosure.

[0154] FIG. 7 illustrates signaling between a network (e.g., TRP 1, TRP 2) and a UE in a situation of multiple TRPs (i.e., M-TRP, or multi-cell, where all TRPs can be replaced with cells) to which the methods proposed in the present disclosure (e.g., combinations of one or more of the proposed methods in Embodiments 1 to 4-1, which will be described later) can be applied.

[0155] Here, the UE / network side is exemplary and can be replaced with various devices as described with reference to FIG. 10. FIG. 7 is provided for convenience of explanation and does not limit the scope of the present disclosure. In addition, some of the steps shown in FIG. 7 may be omitted depending on the situation and / or settings. In addition, the network side / UE operation of FIG. 7 may refer to or utilize the aforementioned uplink transmission / reception operation, M-TRP-related operation, etc.

[0156] In the following description, the network side may be a single base station including multiple TRPs, or may be a single cell including multiple TRPs. Alternatively, the network side may include multiple RRHs (remote radio heads) / RRUs (remote radio units). For example, ideal / non-ideal backhaul may be established between TRP 1 and TRP 2 constituting the network side. In addition, although the following description is based on multiple TRPs, it can be equally extended and applied to transmission through multiple panels / cells, and can also be extended and applied to transmission through multiple RRHs / RRUs, etc.

[0157] A panel may be replaced with an expression such as an SRS resource set, a CORESET group (or a CORESET pool), a TRP, a beam, a capability value index, an antenna array, a cell (e.g., a macro cell / small cell / pico cell, etc.), a transmission point (TP), a base station (gNB, etc.), etc. As described above, a panel and / or a TRP may be distinguished based on information about a CORESET group (or a CORESET pool) (e.g., a CORESET index, an ID).

[0158] For example, different SRS resource sets / SRS resources may be mapped / configured / corresponded to different panels. For example, the first panel may be mapped to SRS resource set 0, and the second panel may be mapped to SRS resource set 1. The SRS resource(s) of SRS resource set 0 may refer to the transmit antenna port(s) of the first panel, and the SRS resource(s) of SRS resource set 1 may refer to the transmit antenna port(s) of the second panel.

[0159] For example, if a single terminal is configured to transmit and receive with multiple TRPs (or cells), this may mean that multiple CORESET groups (or CORESET pools) are configured for the single terminal. The configuration of such CORESET groups (or CORESET pools) can be performed via higher-layer signaling (e.g., RRC signaling).

[0160] Additionally, a base station may be a general term for an object that transmits and receives data with a terminal. For example, the base station may be a concept that includes one or more Transmission Points (TPs), one or more Transmission and Reception Points (TRPs), etc. Furthermore, the TPs and / or TRPs may include a panel of the base station, a transmission and reception unit, etc.

[0161] Meanwhile, although not shown in FIG. 7, for example, the terminal may report terminal capability information to the network via / using TRP 1 (and / or TRP 2).

[0162] Here, for a terminal supporting multi-panel (i.e., STxMP) uplink (e.g., PUSCH) transmission, the terminal capability information may include at least one of i) information on a codebook subset supported for each of the first panel and the second panel, and ii) information on a codebook subset supported for each of multi-panel transmission (i.e., STxMP) and non-multi-panel transmission (i.e., STRP (single TRP) transmission). Additionally, the terminal capability information reported by the terminal to the base station may include various types of capability information described in Embodiments 1 to 4-1 below.

[0163] The UE can receive configuration information from the network via / using TRP 1 (and / or TRP 2) (S701).

[0164] The above configuration information may include information related to the configuration of the network (e.g., TRP configuration) / information related to transmission and reception based on M-TRP (e.g., resource allocation, etc.). In this case, the configuration information may be transmitted via upper layer signaling (e.g., RRC signaling, MAC-CE, etc.).

[0165] Additionally, for example, the configuration information may include information for configuring joint TCI and / or separate DL / UL TCI. For example, the configuration information may include a list of TCI states that provide a reference for determining an uplink transmission spatial filter of a DMRS / uplink signal (e.g., SRS) of an uplink channel (e.g., PUSCH, PUCCH).

[0166] In addition, for example, the configuration information may include information on a multi-panel (i.e., STxMP) PUSCH transmission scheme. For example, it may include information (e.g., a higher layer parameter multipanelscheme) that sets whether to transmit multi-panel (i.e., STxMP), and through the information, whether to transmit STxMP and the STxMP transmission scheme (e.g., SDM scheme or SFN scheme) may be set.

[0167] Additionally, for example, the configuration information may include information for setting the maximum number of layers per panel for multi-panel (i.e., STxMP) PUSCH transmission. That is, when a UE supports two panels and multi-panel PUSCH transmission is set through two panels, the configuration information may include first information / parameter for setting the maximum number of layers for a first panel (e.g., a higher layer parameter maxRank1, a higher layer parameter for setting the Lmax1 value, etc.) and second information / parameter for setting the maximum number of layers for a second panel (e.g., a higher layer parameter maxRank2, a higher layer parameter for setting the Lmax2 value, etc.). Additionally, the configuration information may further include third information / parameter for setting the maximum number of layers for STRP PUSCH transmission (e.g., a higher layer parameter maxRank, a higher layer parameter for setting the Lmax value, etc.). Additionally, the configuration information may further include codebook subset information for the first panel (e.g., upper layer parameter codebookSubset1) and codebook subset information for the second panel (e.g., upper layer parameter codebookSubset2).

[0168] Additionally, for example, the configuration information may include information on an SRS resource set, and at least two SRS resource sets may be configured for the multi-panel PUSCH transmission. Here, depending on whether the usage for the SRS resource set is set to "codebook" or "non-codebook," it may be indicated whether the PUSCH transmission scheduled by the DCI referencing the corresponding SRS resource set corresponds to a codebook-based uplink transmission or a non-codebook-based uplink transmission.

[0169] In addition, the above configuration information may include configuration information related to STRP PUSCH transmission or multi-panel (i.e., STxMP) PUSCH transmission described in the proposed method described below.

[0170] The terminal receives downlink control information (DCI) from the network via / using TRP 1 (and / or TRP 2) (S702).

[0171] The above DCI may be transmitted via a downlink control channel (e.g., PDCCH) and may schedule a STRP PUSCH transmission or a multi-panel (STxMP) PUSCH transmission (i.e., including a UL grant).

[0172] Additionally, the DCI may include a sounding reference signal (SRS) resource set indicator field, a first precoding-related field, and a second precoding-related field.

[0173] Here, based on the value of the SRS resource set indicator field, it can be indicated whether the PUSCH transmission scheduled by the DCI is a STRP PUSCH transmission (e.g., the value of the SRS resource set indicator field is 00 or 01) or a multi-panel (STxMP) PUSCH transmission (e.g., the value of the SRS resource set indicator field is 10 or 11).

[0174] Additionally, when the PUSCH transmission is a codebook-based transmission, the first precoding-related field and the second precoding-related field may correspond to a first precoding information and number of layers field and a second precoding information and number of layers field, respectively.

[0175] Additionally, when the PUSCH transmission is a non-codebook-based transmission, the first precoding-related field and the second precoding-related field may correspond to a first sounding reference signal (SRS) resource indicator field and a second SRS resource indicator field, respectively.

[0176] A precoder and / or rank applied across one or more layers for a first panel may be indicated / determined by the first precoding-related field, and a precoder and / or rank applied across one or more layers for a second panel may be indicated / determined by the second precoding-related field.

[0177] The terminal transmits a PUSCH to the network via / using TRP 1 (and / or TRP 2) (S703).

[0178] Here, for STRP PUSCH transmission, the UE can perform STRP PUSCH transmission to the network through / using a single TRP according to the scheduling of DCI based on a single spatial relationship RS (or UL TCI state).

[0179] Alternatively, for multi-panel (STxMP) PUSCH transmission, the UE may perform multi-panel (STxMP) PUSCH transmission (SDM or SFN) to the network via / using multiple TRPs using multiple panels according to scheduling of DCI based on different spatial relationship RSs (or different UL TCI states).

[0180] STRP transmission and switching method of STRP transmission

[0181] Dynamic switching between SDM transmission mode and STRP transmission mode in a single DCI based on STxMP PUSCH may be used. For example, a base station may dynamically indicate SDM transmission mode or STRP transmission mode via a DCI containing a (2-bit) SRS resource set indicator.

[0182] Here, the maximum number of layers for STRP transmission can be set by information related to the maximum number of ranks (maxRank) and / or information related to the maximum number of candidate SSBs (Lmax) (Option 1). Additionally or alternatively, the maximum number of layers for STRP transmission can be set by an RRC message, etc. (Option 2).

[0183] Additionally, the maximum number of layers for SDM transmission can be set in various ways. For example, a single maximum number of layers (separate from the maximum number of layers for STRP) can be set (by the base station) individually for the first and second SRS resource sets (Option 1). As another example, the maximum number of ranks (or the maximum number of candidate SSBs) may be applied separately to the first SRS resource set and the second SRS resource set (Alternative 1a). As another example, separate maximum number of layers may be set (by the base station) for the first SRS resource set and the second SRS resource set (Alternative 2). As another example, there may be no dedicated SDM configuration. The maximum number of layers in STRP and the UE capability report for SDM may be used to determine the maximum number of layers for SDM transmission (Alternative 3). As another example, the maximum number of layers in Option 1 and Option 2 described above may be applied separately to the first SRS resource set and the second SRS resource set (Alternative 4).

[0184] For example, to ensure the same size of DCI for STRP transmission and SDM transmission, TPMI / SRI can be interpreted in various ways. For example, the maximum number of layers across a panel is defined to be no more than 4, and in the SDM-based STxMP method, the maximum number of layers per panel can be defined to be 2, but is not limited thereto.

[0185] In the above alternative 2, the maximum number of new ranks (maxRank) per panel can be set by the base station via an RRC message. That is, the maximum number of ranks for panel 1 (maxRank 1) and the maximum number of ranks for panel 2 (maxRank 2) can be set via an RRC message. In addition, the maximum number of legacy ranks can be set via an RRC message for STRP (i.e., non-STxMP) transmission. Accordingly, a larger maximum number of ranks may require a larger TPMI field size.

[0186] As another example of the present disclosure, the maximum number of candidate SSBs (Lmax) for each panel can be set by the base station via an RRC message. That is, the maximum number of candidate SSBs for panel 1 (Lmax 1) and the maximum number of candidate SSBs for panel 2 (Lmax 2) can be set via an RRC message. In addition, the maximum number of legacy candidate SSBs can be set via an RRC message for STRP (i.e., non-STxMP) transmission. Accordingly, a larger maximum number of candidate SSBs may require a larger SRI field size.

[0187] The TPMI field size can be changed by the maximum number of ranks (maxRank) as well as the codebook subset restriction (CBSR). Depending on the CBSR, the UL codebook can be set as a full coherent codebook, a partial coherent codebook, or a non-coherent codebook. The number of precoders in a codebook can increase in the order of full coherent codebook, partial coherent codebook, and non-coherent codebook. For example, a full coherent codebook can include a partial coherent codebook and a non-coherent codebook, and a partial coherent codebook can include a non-coherent codebook. In other words, as the number of precoders increases, a larger TPMI field size may be required.

[0188] The TPMI field size can be changed not only by the maximum number of ranks but also by the full power mode. For example, in the case of full power mode 1, one or more precoders satisfying the full coherent property can be added to the partially coherent codebook and / or the non-coherent codebook. Accordingly, a codebook configured with full power mode 1 can indicate more precoders than a codebook configured with other full power modes or without full power mode. In this case, other parameters determining the codebook size (e.g., the maximum number of ranks, CBSR, etc.) can be the same.

[0189] SRS resource set 0 may be configured to indicate an antenna port corresponding to the first panel of the terminal. SRS resource set 1 may be configured to indicate an antenna port corresponding to the second panel of the terminal. That is, the first panel may correspond to SRS resource set 0, and the second panel may correspond to SRS resource set 1.

[0190] In a basic wireless communication system, the DCI for STxMP transmission of a CB (codebook-based) PUSCH may include two TPMI fields and two SRI fields, and the DCI for STxMP transmission of a NCB (non-codebook based) PUSCH may include two SRI fields.

[0191] Below, a method is described for calculating the DCI payload size according to the transmission panel and then determining the final DCI payload size as the maximum value of the payload size.

[0192] FIG. 8 is a diagram for explaining an uplink transmission operation of a terminal in a wireless communication system to which the present disclosure can be applied.

[0193] In describing the present disclosure, uplink transmission may include at least one of a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH), a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH), or an SRS.

[0194] The terminal can receive downlink control information (DCI) including at least one of a first transmit precoding matrix indicator (TPMI) field or a second TPMI field from the base station (S810).

[0195] Here, the first TPMI field may be expressed as a first precoding information and number of layers field, and the second TPMI field may be expressed as a second precoding information and number of layers field (or, a second precoding information field). In addition, the terminal may receive configuration information related to the codebook-based uplink transmission from the base station through an RRC (radio resource control) message.

[0196] Additionally, one or more uplink channels corresponding to each panel (i.e., each SRS resource set) may be scheduled via a single DCI, but is not limited thereto. For example, if two uplink channels are each transmitted for a separate SRS resource set, one uplink channel may be scheduled via a first DCI, and the other uplink channel may be scheduled via a second DCI.

[0197] As described above, the size of the first TPMI field included in the DCI may be determined as the maximum value among the first bit size, the second bit size, and the third bit size. Each of the first bit size, the second bit size, and the third bit size may be based on whether simultaneous transmission across multi-panels (STxMP) transmission is indicated, the type of codebook subset, the maximum value of the number of ranks, and the type of full power mode.

[0198] Here, the type of the codebook subset may be one of a fully coherent codebook, a partially coherent codebook, and a non-coherent codebook. That is, the type of the first codebook subset and the type of the second codebook subset, which will be described later, may each be one of a fully coherent codebook, a partially coherent codebook, and a non-coherent codebook.

[0199] And, the type of full power mode can be one of full power mode 1, full power mode 2, or non-full power mode. That is, each of the type of the first full power mode and the type of the second full power mode described below can be one of full power mode 1, full power mode 2, or non-full power mode.

[0200] As an example of the present disclosure, whether to transmit STxMP may be indicated by an SRS resource set indicator field included in DCI. For example, STxMP transmission may not be indicated based on whether one of the first SRS resource set or the second SRS resource set is indicated by the SRS resource set indicator field. That is, if one of the first SRS resource set or the second SRS resource set is indicated by the SRS resource set indicator field, uplink transmission based on the indicated first SRS resource set or second SRS resource set may be performed. STxMP transmission may be indicated based on whether the first SRS resource set and the second SRS resource set are indicated by the SRS resource set indicator field. That is, uplink transmissions corresponding to each of the first SRS resource set and the second SRS resource set may be performed simultaneously.

[0201] For example, the first bit size may be related to a first case in which STxMP transmission is not indicated and the type of the codebook subset, the maximum value of the number of ranks, and the type of the full power mode are set for the first sounding reference signal (SRS) resource set, the maximum value of the number of first ranks, and the first full power mode. That is, when STxMP is not indicated, the first bit size may be determined based on the type of the first codebook subset, the maximum value of the first rank, and the first full power mode set for the first SRS resource set.

[0202] For example, the second bit size may be related to a second case in which STxMP transmission is not indicated and the type of codebook subset, the maximum value of the number of ranks, and the type of full power mode are the second codebook subset type, the maximum value of the number of second ranks, and the second full power mode configured for the second SRS resource set. That is, when STxMP is not indicated, the second bit size may be determined based on the type of the second codebook subset, the maximum value of the second rank, and the second full power mode configured for the second SRS resource set.

[0203] For example, the third bit size may be related to a third case in which STxMP transmission is indicated and the type of codebook subset, the maximum value of the number of ranks, and the type of full power mode are the first codebook subset type, the maximum value of the number of first ranks, and the first full power mode configured for the first SRS resource set. That is, when STxMP is indicated, the third bit size may be determined based on the first codebook subset type, the maximum value of the number of first ranks, and the first full power mode configured for the first SRS resource set.

[0204] For example, the second TPMI field may be determined to have a fourth bit size. The fourth bit size may be related to a fourth case in which STxMP transmission is indicated, and the type of the codebook subset, the maximum value of the number of ranks, and the type of the full power mode are the second codebook subset type, the maximum value of the number of second ranks, and the second full power mode set for the second SRS resource set. That is, when STxMP transmission is indicated, the fourth bit size may be determined based on the second codebook subset type, the maximum value of the number of second ranks, and the second full power mode set for the second SRS resource set.

[0205] Additionally, the DCI may include a first SRS resource indicator (SRI) field and a second SRI field. For example, the size of the first SRI field may be determined as the maximum value among a fifth bit size, a sixth bit size, and a seventh bit size. Each of the fifth bit size, the sixth bit size, and the seventh bit size may be based on whether STxMP transmission is indicated and the number of selectable SRS resources in the SRS resource set.

[0206] For example, the fifth bit size may be related to the number of selectable SRS resources of the first SRS resource set based on whether STxMP transmission is indicated. The sixth bit size may be related to the number of selectable SRS resources of the second SRS resource set based on whether STxMP transmission is indicated. The seventh bit size may be related to the number of selectable SRS resources of the first SRS resource set based on whether STxMP transmission is indicated.

[0207] Additionally, the second SRI field size may be related to the number of selectable SRS resources of the second SRS resource set, based on which STxMP transmission is indicated.

[0208] The terminal can perform uplink transmission based on the DCI (S820). That is, the terminal can perform uplink transmission through the SRS resource set indicator field, the first TPMI field, the second TPMI field, the first SRI field, and the second SRI field included in the DCI.

[0209] For example, when STxMP transmission is indicated by the SRS resource set indicator field, the terminal may perform uplink transmission related to the first / second SRS resource set using the STxMP technique through the first / second TPMI field and the first / second SRI field. As another example, when STxMP transmission is not indicated by the SRS resource set indicator field, the terminal may perform uplink transmission related to the first SRS resource set (or the second SRS resource set) through the first TPMI field (or the second TPMI field) and the first SRI field (or the second SRI field).

[0210] The method performed by the terminal described in the example of FIG. 8 may be performed by the first device (100) of FIG. 10. For example, one or more processors (102) of the first device (100) of FIG. 10 may receive DCI including at least one of the first TPMI field or the second TPMI field from a base station via one or more transceivers (106). The one or more processors (102) may perform uplink transmission based on the DCI.

[0211] The above memory (104) can store instructions for performing the method described in the example of FIG. 8 when executed by one or more processors (102).

[0212] FIG. 9 is a diagram for explaining an uplink reception operation of a base station in a wireless communication system to which the present disclosure can be applied.

[0213] The base station can transmit DCI including at least one of the first TPMI field or the second TPMI field to the terminal (S910).

[0214] Before transmitting DCI, the base station may transmit configuration information related to codebook-based uplink transmission and / or configuration information related to STxMP to the terminal via an RRC message. The configuration of each field included in the DCI has been described with reference to Figure 8, so a duplicate description will be omitted.

[0215] The base station can perform uplink reception based on DCI (S920).

[0216] The method performed by the base station described in the example of FIG. 9 may be performed by the second device (200) of FIG. 10. For example, one or more processors (202) of the second device (200) of FIG. 10 may transmit DCI including at least one of the first TPMI field or the second TPMI field to a terminal via one or more transceivers (206). The one or more processors (202) may perform uplink reception based on the DCI.

[0217] Furthermore, one or more memories (204) of the second device (200) may store instructions for performing the method described in the example of FIG. 9 when executed by one or more processors (202).

[0218] Below, a method for determining the DCI payload size according to whether STxMP is applied and the capabilities of the panel, etc., will be specifically described with reference to FIGS. 8 and 9.

[0219] Example 1

[0220] Embodiment 1 relates to a method related to the DCI payload size used in codebook-based uplink transmission. Embodiment 1-1 relates to the TPMI field size, Embodiment 1-2 relates to the SRI field, and Embodiment 1-3 relates to the TPMI field and SRI field when UL beam switching is applied.

[0221] Example 1-1

[0222] In a basic wireless communication system, TPMI field 1 (or first TPMI field) can be used to indicate the codebook of panel 1 in a non-STxMP transmission, the codebook of panel 1 in a non-STxMP transmission, or the codebook of panel 1 in an STxMP transmission. Additionally, TPMI field 2 (or second TPMI field) in a basic wireless communication system can be used to indicate the codebook of panel 2 in an STxMP transmission.

[0223] As described above, panel 1 corresponds to SRS resource set 0, and panel 2 corresponds to SRS resource set 1, so STxMP transmission or non-STxMP transmission can be indicated through the SRS resource set selection field (or SRS resource set indicator field) of DCI. For example, when the SRS resource set indicator field value is 00, this may mean non-STxMP transmission using panel 1. When the SRS resource set indicator field value is 01, this may mean non-STxMP transmission using panel 2. When the SRS resource set indicator field value is 10, this may mean STxMP transmission using panels 1 and 2.

[0224] Accordingly, the size of TPMI field 1 can be determined as the maximum value among 1) the bit size (B1) considering the CBSR applied to panel 1, the maximum value of the number of ranks, and the full mode power in case of non-STxMP transmission, 2) the bit size (B2) considering the CBSR applied to panel 2, the maximum value of the number of ranks, and the full power mode in case of non-STxMP transmission, and iii) the bit size (B3) considering the CBSR applied to panel 1, the maximum value of the number of ranks, and the full power mode in case of STxMP transmission. In addition, the size of TPMI field 2 can be determined as the bit size (B4) considering the CBSR applied to panel 2, the maximum value of the number of ranks, and the full mode power in case of STxMP transmission.

[0225] Additionally or alternatively, the size of TPMI field 1 may be determined as the maximum value among B1 and B3, and the size of TPMI field 2 may be determined as the maximum value among B2 and B4.

[0226] To accommodate the diversity of terminal implementations, the base station can separate the following four cases and transmit parameters for each case to the terminal via RRC messages, MAC-CE, or / and DCI. That is, each parameter value can be set differently depending on the four cases below.

[0227] - Case 1: CBSR applied to panel 1 for non-STxMP transmission, maximum number of ranks, full power mode

[0228] - Case 2: CBSR applied to panel 2 for non-STxMP transmission, maximum number of ranks, full power mode

[0229] - Case 3: CBSR applied to panel 1 during STxMP transmission, maximum number of ranks, full power mode

[0230] - Case 4: CBSR applied to panel 2 during STxMP transmission, maximum number of ranks, full power mode

[0231] Example 1-2

[0232] In a basic wireless communication system, when CB PUSCH transmission is configured, SRI field 1 can be used to indicate SRS resources of panel 1 (i.e., SRS resource set 0 corresponding to panel 1) in non-STxMP transmission, SRS resource indication of panel 2 (i.e., SRS resource set 1 corresponding to panel 2) in non-STxMP transmission, or SRS resource indication of panel 1 (i.e., SRS resource set 0 corresponding to panel 1) in STxMP transmission. And, in a basic wireless communication system, when CB PUSCH transmission is configured, SRI field 2 can be used to indicate SRS resources of panel 2 (i.e., SRS resource set 1 corresponding to panel 2) in STxMP transmission.

[0233] To accommodate the diversity of terminal implementations, the base station can separate the following four cases and transmit parameters for each case to the terminal via RRC messages, MAC-CE, or / and DCI. That is, each parameter value can be set differently depending on the four cases below.

[0234] - Case 1: Number of selectable SRS resources in panel 1 (i.e. SRS resource set 0) in non-STxMP transmission

[0235] - Case 2: Number of selectable SRS resources in panel 2 (i.e. SRS resource set 1) in non-STxMP transmission

[0236] - Case 3: Number of selectable SRS resources for panel 1 when transmitting STxMP

[0237] - Case 4: Number of selectable SRS resources for panel 2 when transmitting STxMP

[0238] As a result, the field size of SRI field 1 may be determined as the maximum value among the number of selectable SRS resources (B1) of panel 1 (i.e., SRS resource set 0) in non-STxMP transmission, the number of selectable SRS resources (B2) of panel 2 (i.e., SRS resource set 1) in non-STxMP transmission, and the number of selectable SRS resources (B3) of panel 1 (i.e., SRS resource set 0) in STxMP transmission. In addition, the field size of SRI field 2 may be determined as the number of selectable SRS resources (B4) of panel 2 (i.e., SRS resource set 1) in STxMP transmission.

[0239] Additionally or alternatively, the size of SR1 field 1 may be determined as the maximum value among B1 and B3, and the size of SRI field 2 may be determined as the maximum value among B2 and B4.

[0240] Example 1-3

[0241] In one embodiment of the present disclosure, the UL beam transmitted by STxMP panel 1 and the UL beam transmitted by STxMP 2 can be switched with each other due to UE rotation, etc., and the switching of the UL beam can be dynamically indicated by MAC-CE or DCI, etc.

[0242] In describing the present disclosure, a UL beam may correspond to a UL TCI state or a spatial relationship RS. That is, a UL beam transmitted by panel 1 may correspond to a UL beam, a UL TCI state, or a spatial relationship RS applied to an SRS resource of SRS resource set 0, and a UL beam transmitted by panel 2 may correspond to a UL beam, a UL TCI state, or a spatial relationship RS applied to an SRS resource of SRS resource set 1.

[0243] Here, TPMI field 1 can be used for codebook indication of STxMP panel 2, and TPMI field 2 can be used for codebook indication of STxMP panel 1. When considering dynamic beam switching, TPMI field 1 can be determined as the maximum value among B1, B2, B3, and B4 in Embodiment 1-1, and TPMI field 2 can be determined as the maximum value among B3 and B4 in Embodiment 1-1. However, this is only one embodiment, and both TPMI field 1 and TPMI field 2 can be determined as the maximum value among B1, B2, B3, and B4 in Embodiment 1-1.

[0244] As another example of the present disclosure, it is assumed that dynamic switching between UL beams of panel 1 and panel 2 for STxMP transmission is supported. In this case, the field size of SRI field 1 may be determined as the maximum value among the number of selectable SRS resources of panel 1 (i.e., SRS resource set 0) in non-STxMP transmission, the number of selectable SRS resources of panel 2 (i.e., SRS resource set 1) in non-STxMP transmission, the number of selectable SRS resources of panel 1 (i.e., SRS resource set 0) in STxMP transmission, and the number of selectable SRS resources of panel 2 (i.e., SRS resource set 1) in STxMP transmission.

[0245] In addition, the field size of SRI field 2 can be determined as the maximum value among the number of selectable SRS resources of panel 1 (i.e., SRS resource set 0) when transmitting STxMP and the number of selectable SRS resources of panel 2 (i.e., SRS resource set 1) when transmitting STxMP.

[0246] Example 2

[0247] Example 2 relates to a method related to DCI payload size used in non-codebook based uplink transmission.

[0248] The base station can distinguish between the following four cases and transmit parameters for each case to the terminal via RRC messages, MAC-CE, or / and DCI. That is, each parameter value can be set differently depending on the following four cases.

[0249] - Case 1: Bit size (B1) considering the number of selectable SRS resources applied to panel 1 (i.e. SRS resource set 0) and the maximum number of existing candidate SSBs (Lmax) in case of non-STxMP transmission.

[0250] - Case 2: Bit size (B2) considering the number of selectable SRS resources applied to panel 2 (i.e. SRS resource set 1) and the maximum number of existing candidate SSBs (Lmax) in case of non-STxMP transmission.

[0251] - Case 3: Bit size (B3) considering the number of selectable SRS resources applied to panel 1 (i.e. SRS resource set 0) and the maximum number of candidate SSBs (Lmax1) when transmitting STxMP.

[0252] - Case 4: Bit size (B4) considering the number of selectable SRS resources applied to panel 2 (i.e. SRS resource set 1) and the maximum number of candidate SSBs (Lmax2) when transmitting STxMP.

[0253] When dynamic switching of the UL beam transmitted by STxMP panel 1 and the UL beam transmitted by STxMP panel 2 is possible, for NCB PUSCH, SRS field 1 may be determined as the maximum value among B1, B2, B3, and B4, and SRS field 2 may be determined as the maximum value among B3 and B4.

[0254] In describing the present disclosure, a UL beam may correspond to a UL TCI state or a spatial relationship RS.

[0255] In embodiments 1 and 2, the maximum number of ranks of panel 1 (maxRank1) and the maximum number of ranks of panel 2 (maxRank12) may be the same or may be the same as a predefined maximum number of ranks. In embodiments 1 and 2, the CBSR of panel 1 and the CBSR of panel 2 may be the same or may be the same as a predefined CBSR. In embodiments 1 and 2, the maximum number of candidate SSBs of panel 1 (Lmax1) and the maximum number of candidate SSBs of panel 2 (Lmax1) may be the same or may be the same as a predefined maximum number of SSBs.

[0256] The embodiments described above may be combined and combined. Furthermore, the parameters and methods defined / set / indicated in the embodiments described above may be set / indicated or defined by the base station to the terminal.

[0257] In the embodiment described above, when the characteristics of two transmission panels are different, the DCI payload size for scheduling UL transmission can be fixed regardless of which panel is used for UL transmission even if STxMP is applied.
