Abstract
Description
[0001] Bundle pack containing at least one group of several products
[0002] Description
[0003] The invention relates to a bundle pack comprising at least one group of several products according to the preamble of claim 1.
[0004] Bundle packs of the type mentioned above are known in practice in numerous variations. Film is often used as the packaging material.
[0005] One problem with conventional multi-packs can be that they are difficult to open. Opening the multi-pack can be particularly challenging for consumers with tactile impairments. Another problem is that the contents of the multi-pack are no longer, or no longer sufficiently, protected from environmental influences after the initial opening, which can have a negative impact on the condition of the products.
[0006] Based on this, the invention is based on the object of further developing known bundle packages, in particular with regard to simplifying opening and / or protecting the products after initial opening. At the very least, however, the invention is based on the object of enriching the state of the art with further embodiments.
[0007] A bundle pack according to the invention has the features of claim 1. It is accordingly provided that the wrapping, preferably made of a paper-based packaging material, has a material weakening as an opening aid for the wrapping.
[0008] The opening aid makes the bundle pack easy to open. The design, which uses a weakened material (e.g., perforation, scoring, or creasing), allows for uncomplicated production using simple means. Furthermore, no additional components are required. The preferred use of paper-based packaging material is ecologically superior to film-based materials and facilitates recycling.
[0009] It is preferably provided that the products of the at least one group are arranged in a cuboid formation and are at least partially surrounded by the casing on all six side surfaces of the group or formation.
[0010] Preferably, the products are directly surrounded by the wrapping.
[0011] Preferably, it is further provided that the material weakening extends circumferentially on a side wall of the casing, so that this side wall can preferably be completely removed after the casing has been separated along the material weakening, in order to form a removal opening in the casing.
[0012] In this way, a removal opening can be formed in the area of a side surface or side wall, which extends over the entire side surface.
[0013] Preferably, the material weakening is formed at the edges of the side wall to be removed or at the packaging edges of the casing.
[0014] Preferably, it can be provided that the material weakening extends circumferentially on the bundle pack, wherein the material weakening is arranged at a distance from a side wall to be separated out, so that this side wall can be completely removed after the wrapping has been separated along the material weakening, together with at least one or more partial regions of one or more adjacent side walls of the wrapping, to form a removal opening in the wrapping.
[0015] This solution therefore results in a removal opening that is larger than the side wall to be removed. Preferably, partial areas of all adjacent side walls are removable, in particular as a strip of material surrounding the side wall to be removed.
[0016] This solution results in the products partially protruding from the wrapping remaining after the side wall has been removed and are easily accessible to the consumer.
[0017] It is preferably provided that a partial area of an adjacent side wall, preferably together with a partial area of an opposite side wall, can be removed together with the side wall to be removed.
[0018] This solution can be used to partially remove the wrapping, for example in the area of (opposite) tabs.
[0019] Preferably, it is provided that by removing the side wall to be removed, a removal opening is formed in the casing through which at least individual products can be removed from the casing.
[0020] Preferably, the removal opening is dimensioned such that the products are securely held in the wrapping at least until the products are removed from the wrapping for the first time.
[0021] A special feature may be that at least one gripping aid is provided to simplify the operation of the opening aid.
[0022] It is preferably provided that the at least one gripping aid is formed in the course of the material weakening, in particular as a tab delimited by the material weakening.
[0023] Preferably, a tab is arranged on one side wall of the wrapper, or two tabs are arranged at corresponding positions on opposite side walls of the wrapper, with the or all side walls having a tab being arranged adjacent to the side wall to be removed. Preferably, the gripping aid is formed by a portion of an adhesive label extending over a package edge of the bundle pack.
[0024] Preferably, the adhesive label extends over two adjacent side walls, wherein a part of the adhesive label is arranged with a removable adhesive on a side wall which is not intended to be removed, and another part of the adhesive label is arranged with a permanent adhesive on the side wall which is to be removed.
[0025] Alternatively, it can be provided that the gripping aid is formed by a resealable label which is applied to a label which extends over at least part of a side wall of the wrapping.
[0026] It is preferably provided that the label has a preferably circumferential adhesive zone, which ensures that the label can be resealed.
[0027] Preferably, only one group of products is arranged in the wrapping.
[0028] Alternatively, it can be provided that several groups of products are arranged adjacent to one another in the wrapping.
[0029] Preferably, a separate opening aid is provided for each group of products.
[0030] Preferably, a common opening aid is provided for all or several groups of products, in particular a resealable label per group.
[0031] The products can preferably be hygiene products (e.g., diapers), food, or products from the cigarette industry. For the purposes of this application, products from the cigarette industry include tobacco products such as cigarettes, cigarillos, and the like, but also novel tobacco products, such as heat-not-burn products or liquid carriers for e-cigarettes.

[0044] Representation analogous to Fig. 1 ,
[0045] Fig. 10 shows the bundle pack according to Fig. 9 after opening a resealable label, Fig. 11 shows a sixth embodiment of a bundle pack in a representation analogous to Fig. 1 and
[0046] Fig. 12 the bundle pack according to Fig. 11 after opening the resealable label.
[0047] The invention is described below using various exemplary embodiments of a bundle pack 10 for hygiene articles as product 11. The hygiene articles can, for example, be diapers that are combined into a group 12.
[0048] The products 11 are arranged in an orderly formation to form a cuboid, so that the group 12 has six side faces. On each of the six side faces, the group 12 is surrounded by a casing 13. Accordingly, the casing has six side walls.
[0049] The packaging material for the wrapping is preferably paper-based. The paper used can be made from virgin fibers or contain recycled content. The paper for the wrapping 13 should be uncoated and weigh between 70 and 90 g / m².
[0050] In all embodiments, a material weakening 14 formed in the casing 13 is used as an opening aid. Perforations, scoring, creasing, or other known material weakenings 14 are conceivable. Combinations of different material weakenings 14 are also conceivable. In the drawings, the material weakenings 14 are indicated by dashed lines.
[0051] In the first embodiment shown in Fig. 1, the material weakening 14 runs circumferentially around a side wall 15 of the wrapper 13 to be removed, namely along the packaging edges 16 of the bundle pack 10 or the folded edges of the wrapper 13 or the side edges of the side wall 15. By tearing the wrapper open along the material weakening 14, the side wall 15 is separated from the rest of the wrapper 13 and can be removed by the consumer. The products 11 are then exposed in the area of the formed removal opening and can be removed as needed (individually or several at once).
[0052] In the second embodiment shown in Fig. 2, the material weakening 14 runs circumferentially around the wrapping, offset from the package edges 16 or folded edges of the side wall 15 to be removed. In this way, the side wall 15 can be removed together with a material strip 17 adjoining the side wall 15, for example in the manner of a hood or a lid, so that the products 11 protrude from the opened wrapping 13. Furthermore, reference is made to the introductory general explanations, which also apply mutatis mutandis to this embodiment.
[0053] In the present embodiment, the material strip 17 has a constant height. However, it is also conceivable for the material strip 17 to have different heights on individual, several, or all side walls. It is also conceivable for the material strip 17 to have a non-constant height, but rather an increasing and / or decreasing profile.
[0054] It is preferable to ensure that the material strip 17 is dimensioned such that the products 11 are held securely in the bundle pack 10 even after it has been opened, at least until one or more first products 11 are removed.
[0055] In an embodiment not shown, the material weakening 14 can also run at a distance from the package edges 16 in the side wall 15 to be removed, so that the side wall 15 is not completely cut out, but an edge remains.
[0056] In the third embodiment shown in Figs. 3 and 4, the material weakening 14 runs essentially along the side wall to be removed
[0057] 15 limiting packing edges 16. On two opposite packing edges
[0058] 16, however, the material weakening 14 extends into the adjacent side wall 19, forming a tab 18. In this way, not only the side wall 15 is separated from the rest of the wrapper, but also the tabs 18 connected to the side wall 15. The tabs 18 facilitate access to the products 11 in the area of the removal opening 20. The dimensions of the tabs 18 should be selected so that the consumer can securely grasp the products 11. For example, the tabs 18 can be approximately thumb-sized. In this way, the tabs 18 can serve as a gripping aid when removing the side wall 15.
[0059] Perforation for the tabs 18 should be at a maximum length ratio of 1:1 (cut to web). Furthermore, the material weakening 14 can have a length ratio of 2:1 (cut to web).
[0060] It is understood that the number of tabs 18 can vary. Only one tab 18 or more than two tabs 18 can be provided. This also applies to the other embodiments.
[0061] In the fourth embodiment shown in Figs. 5 and 6, the material weakening 14 runs, as in the embodiment according to Fig. 2, offset from the pack edge 16 or folding edge, circumferentially around the adjacent side walls 19. For further details, reference is made to Fig. 2 and the introductory general explanations, which also apply mutatis mutandis to this embodiment.
[0062] For possible variants, please refer to the above explanations.
[0063] In the fourth embodiment shown in Fig. 7 and 8, the material weakening 14 runs as in Fig. 1 along the package edges 16 or folding edges around the side wall 15 to be removed. As an additional opening aid, a preferably one-piece adhesive label 21 is provided, which extends from the side wall 15 to be removed over a package edge 16 into an adjacent side wall 19 and there has a grip tab 22 at a free end as a gripping aid.
[0064] The adhesive label 21 is provided with two different adhesives on the side facing the wrapping 13. A removable adhesive is used in the area of the side wall 19, whereas the adhesive label 21 in the area of the side wall 15 is bonded with a permanent adhesive. This construction enables the consumer to grasp the adhesive label 21 by the grip tab 22 and lift it off the side wall 19. Due to the permanent bond to the side wall 15, continued movement then leads to the side wall 15 being separated from the rest of the wrapping 13 along the material weakening 14. This creates the open bundle pack 10 shown in Fig. 8, from which the products 10 can be removed.
[0065] The adhesive label 21 does not extend completely over the side wall 15, but ends at a short distance from the three package edges 16 that are not covered by the adhesive label 21. In the event of incorrect positioning, there is no great risk of the adhesive label 21 protruding beyond the package edges 16.
[0066] For further details, reference is made to the above statements, which also apply mutatis mutandis to this embodiment.
[0067] With regard to possible variants, reference is also made to the above statements.
[0068] In the fifth embodiment shown in Figs. 9 and 10, the material weakening 14 runs at a distance from the pack edges 16 or folding edges within the side wall 15. Accordingly, the side wall 15 is only partially removed here. The area of the side wall 15 to be removed, delimited by the material weakening 14, is covered by a label 23, to which a resealable label 24 is applied as a gripping aid, which extends over at least part of the side wall 19. A reclosable label 24 is ensured by an adhesive zone 25 surrounding the edge of the label 24.
[0069] The label 23, like the adhesive label 21 in the previous example, does not extend over the entire surface of the side wall 15, but ends at a distance from all package edges 16 for the same reasons.
[0070] When the label 24 is opened for the first time, the area of the side wall 15 to be removed, defined by the material weakening 14, is cut out of the casing 13 along the material weakening, and the removal opening 20 is exposed. The removal opening 20 can be closed again by closing the label 24. Alternatively, in an embodiment not shown in the figures, the area of the side wall 15 to be removed can be punched out in advance.
[0071] Furthermore, solutions with a label 23 and / or a label 24 are conceivable, as they are also used on packages for products of the cigarette industry.
[0072] The label material, like the packaging material of the wrapper 13, should also be uncoated and have a weight of 80 to 120 g / m².
[0073] All of the above-described embodiments have in common that only one group 12 of products 11 is arranged in the casing 13. However, multiple groups 12 in one casing are also conceivable, as shown exemplarily in Figs. 11 and 12 as the sixth embodiment. The construction of the casing 13 corresponds to the solution according to Figs. 9 and 10. It is understood that in the other embodiments, multiple groups 12 of products 11 can also be arranged in the respective casing 13.
[0074] Furthermore, the exemplary embodiments described above show that the side wall 15 to be removed is not limited to specific side surfaces. In principle, all side surfaces of the casing 13 are suitable for this purpose.
