[0002] There is known a dispenser having a cylinder, a piston that can slide on the cylinder, a holding member that moves back and forth with the piston relative to the cylinder by external operation, an internal flow path that discharges the contents in the container body through a pump chamber partitioned by the cylinder and the piston in accordance with the moving back and forth movement of the holding member, and a pressure accumulator that closes the internal flow path when the seating portion of the piston seats in the forward direction against the seated portion of the holding member due to the biasing force of a biasing member (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
[0003] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2002-35654
[0004] When a conventional pressure-accumulator type dispenser such as that described above is designed to obtain a large amount of discharge (spray), problems arise such as the cylinder stroke becoming longer and the operation of the holding member becoming heavier.
[0005] SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a pressure-accumulator type dispenser that can easily achieve a large amount of discharge.
[0006] The dispenser of the present invention comprises a first cylinder, a first piston sliding on the first cylinder, a second cylinder attached to the mouth of a container body, the second piston sliding on the second cylinder, a holding member that moves back and forth relative to the second cylinder together with the first cylinder and the second piston by external operation and that moves back and forth relative to the first cylinder together with the first piston during this movement, an internal flow path that dispenses the contents in the container body through a pump chamber partitioned by the first cylinder, the first piston, the second cylinder, and the second piston in accordance with the movement of the holding member, a pressure accumulator that closes the internal flow path when the seating portion of the first piston seats in the forward direction against the seated portion of the holding member due to the force of a first biasing member, and a second biasing member that biases the holding member in the backward direction relative to the second cylinder.
[0007] In the above-described configuration, the dispenser of the present invention is preferably an dispenser in which the retaining member has a cylindrical stem extending in the forward / backward direction, a piston guide attached to the inner surface of the stem and having the seating portion, and a connecting portion that is provided radially outward of the stem and integrally connected to the stem, and is urged in the backward direction by the second urging member.

[0009] In the discharger of the present invention having the above configuration, it is preferable that the connecting portion presses the first cylinder in the forward direction at a forward limit position relative to the first cylinder.
[0010] In the discharger of the present invention having the above configuration, it is preferable that the second biasing member biases the first cylinder in the retracting direction via an engagement portion between the connecting portion and the first cylinder.
[0011] In the dispenser of the present invention having the above-mentioned configuration, it is preferable that the discharge port of the internal flow path discharges the content in the form of a mist.
[0012] According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a pressure-accumulator type dispenser that can easily achieve a large amount of discharge.

[0014] Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0015] As shown in FIG. 1 , in one embodiment of the present invention, the dispenser 1 includes a first cylinder / second piston member 2, a first piston 3, a second cylinder 4, a stem member 5, a piston guide 6, a head main body 7, a nozzle tip 8, a retaining member 9, an attachment cap 10, and a pipe 11, each of which is integrally formed, for example, from resin, and a valve body 12, a first biasing member 13, and a second biasing member 14, each of which is integrally formed, for example, from metal. The head main body 7 and the nozzle tip 8 form a nozzle head 15, and the nozzle head 15, the stem member 5, and the piston guide 6 form a retaining member 16. The seating portion 3 a of the first piston 3, the seated portion 6 a of the piston guide 6, and the first biasing member 13 form a pressure accumulator 17. The valve body 12, the first biasing member 13, and the second biasing member 14 are not limited to being made of metal and may be made, for example, from resin.
[0016] The dispenser 1 has an internal flow path 18, which has a pump chamber 18a, an upstream flow path 18b, and a downstream flow path 18c, and the downstream flow path 18c has a discharge port 18d.
[0017] In this embodiment, the dispensing container 19 includes a dispenser 1, a container body 20, and an upper cover 21.
[0018] The container body 20 has a cylindrical mouth 20a centered on the central axis O of a first cylinder 24 (described later), a body 20b connected to the lower end of the mouth 20a, and a bottom connected to the lower end of the body 20b. The mouth 20a may have a tubular shape other than a cylindrical shape, such as a rectangular tubular shape. The container body 20 contains a liquid content.
[0019] In this embodiment, the direction along the central axis O is also referred to as the forward / backward direction or the up / down direction, the direction from the mouth 20a toward the bottom along the forward / backward direction is also referred to as the forward direction or downward, and the opposite direction is also referred to as the backward direction or upward, the direction along a straight line perpendicular to the central axis O is also referred to as the radial direction, the direction circumferentially around the central axis O is also referred to as the circumferential direction, and a cross section including the central axis O is also referred to as a longitudinal cross section.
[0020] The second cylinder 4 has a larger diameter than the first cylinder 24, has an intake port 4a, and is attached to the mouth portion 20a by attaching an attachment cap 10 to the mouth portion 20a. The second cylinder 4 also has a second cylinder body 4b that is cylindrical and centered on the central axis O and in contact with the second piston 25, a flange 4c that extends radially outward from the top of the second cylinder body 4b and is disposed on the upper end surface of the mouth portion 20a via a packing 22, and a second cylinder bottom portion 4d that extends radially inward from the bottom of the second cylinder body 4b and has the intake port 4a.
[0021] The second cylinder bottom 4d has: a bottom wall 4e extending radially inward from the lower part of the second cylinder body 4b and forming an annular shape centered on the central axis O; a bottom tube portion 4f extending upward from the inner peripheral edge of the bottom wall 4e and forming a cylindrical shape centered on the central axis O; a valve seat portion 4g extending radially inward from the upper end of the bottom tube portion 4f and having an intake port 4a on the central axis O, on which the valve element 12 is seated; a valve restricting portion 4h extending upward from the outer peripheral edge of the valve seat portion 4g and restricting the rise of the valve element 12 spaced upward from the valve seat portion 4g; and a plurality of vertical ribs 4i arranged circumferentially at intervals, each extending radially and vertically across a portion of the upper surface of the bottom wall 4e excluding the outer peripheral edge and the outer surface of the bottom tube portion 4f.
[0022] The upper end of the pipe 11 is attached to the inner peripheral surface of the bottom cylindrical portion 4f by fitting.
[0023] The valve element 12, valve seat 4g, and valve restriction portion 4h constitute the suction valve 23. The suction valve 23 allows the contents to move from inside the container body 20 to the pump chamber 18a when the valve element 12 moves upward away from the valve seat 4g, while preventing the contents from moving in the opposite direction when the valve element 12 is seated downward on the valve seat 4g. Note that the suction valve 23 is not limited to a configuration including the valve element 12, valve seat 4g, and valve restriction portion 4h, and may be constituted by an elastic valve such as a so-called three-point valve, for example.
[0024] The mounting cap 10 has a peripheral wall 10a attached to the outer peripheral surface of the mouth portion 20a, and an annular cap upper portion 10b extending radially inward from the upper portion of the peripheral wall 10a and contacting the upper surface of the flange 4c, and centered on the central axis O. The cap upper portion 10b has a lower annular wall 10c extending radially inward from the upper end of the peripheral wall 10a and contacting the upper surface of the flange 4c, an outer cylindrical wall 10d extending upward from the inner peripheral edge of the lower annular wall 10c, an upper annular wall 10e extending radially inward from the upper end of the outer cylindrical wall 10d, and an inner cylindrical wall 10f extending upward and downward from the inner peripheral edge of the upper annular wall 10e.
[0025] The first cylinder / second piston member 2 is annular and has a center on the central axis O, with the upper end portion constituting the first cylinder 24 and the lower end portion constituting the second piston 25 .
[0026] The second piston 25 has a second sliding cylinder 25a and a second cylindrical shaft 25b. The second sliding cylinder 25a constitutes the outer peripheral edge of the second piston 25 and slides up and down on the inner peripheral surface of the second cylinder body 4b. The second cylindrical shaft 25b constitutes the radial inner peripheral edge of the second piston 25 and has a cylindrical shape extending up and down. The lower end of the second cylindrical shaft 25b is integrally connected to the second sliding cylinder 25a, and the upper end of the second cylindrical shaft 25b is integrally connected to the lower end of the first cylinder 24.
[0027] The retaining member 9 has an annular shape centered on the central axis O, is attached integrally to the second cylinder 4, and prevents the second piston 25 from slipping out upward from the second cylinder 4. More specifically, the retaining member 9 has a retaining portion 9a having an outer peripheral surface that contacts the inner peripheral surface of the second cylinder body 4b, and a protruding portion 9b that protrudes radially outward from an upper portion of the retaining portion 9a and has a lower surface that faces the upper surface of the second cylinder 4. The upper surface of the retaining portion 9a has a lower receiving portion 9c that has an annular recess centered on the central axis O and receives the lower end of the second biasing member 14.
[0028] The second piston 25 is prevented from coming out upward from the second cylinder 4 by the second piston 25 abutting upward against the retaining portion 9 a. Downward displacement of the retaining member 9 relative to the second cylinder 4 is prevented by the protrusion 9 b abutting downward against the upper surface of the second cylinder 4. Upward displacement of the retaining member 9 relative to the second cylinder 4 is prevented by the portion of the retaining portion 9 a outer circumferentially further than the lower receiving portion 9 c abutting upward against the lower end surface of the inner cylindrical wall 10 f of the attachment cap 10.
[0029] The second biasing member 14 is arranged around the central axis O and is configured by a compression spring that expands and contracts in the vertical direction.
[0030] The first cylinder 24 is annular about the central axis O and includes a first cylinder body 24a and a restricting step 24b. The first cylinder body 24a is cylindrical about the central axis O and contacts the first piston 3. The restricting step 24b protrudes radially inward from the lower end of the first cylinder body 24a in a stepped manner.
[0031] The holding member 16 moves forward and backward (in forward and backward directions) relative to the second cylinder 4 together with the first piston 3 and the second piston 25 by external operation via the nozzle head 15, and during this movement, moves forward and backward relative to the first cylinder 24 together with the first piston 3.
[0032] The holding member 16 also has a cylindrical stem 5a extending in the forward / backward direction around the central axis O, a piston guide 6 attached to the inner peripheral surface of the stem 5a and having a seating portion 6a, and a connecting portion 5b provided radially outward of the stem 5a and integrally connected to the stem 5a, and biased in the backward direction by the second biasing member 14. The stem member 5 is composed of the stem 5a and the connecting portion 5b.
[0033] The piston guide 6 is rod-shaped and extends in the forward and backward directions around a central axis O. The piston guide 6 also has an expanded diameter portion 6b that expands in diameter below the stem 5a, and the expanded diameter portion 6b has a seating portion 6a.
[0034] The first piston 3 is annular about the central axis O and includes a first sliding cylinder 3b and a first cylindrical shaft 3c. The first sliding cylinder 3b constitutes the outer peripheral edge of the first piston 3 and slides in the forward and backward direction on the inner peripheral surface of the first cylinder body 24a. The first cylindrical shaft 3c constitutes the radial inner peripheral edge of the first piston 3 and is cylindrical extending in the forward and backward direction, with the lower end of the first cylindrical shaft 3c integrally connected to the first sliding cylinder 3b. The first cylindrical shaft 3c surrounds the outer peripheral surface of the piston guide 6 and moves forward and backward relative to the piston guide 6. The first cylindrical shaft 3c also slides in the forward and backward direction on the lower end of the outer peripheral surface of the stem 5a.
[0035] The first piston 3 has a seating portion 3a that seats on the seating portion 6a in the forward direction and moves away from the seating portion 6a in the backward direction in response to the forward and backward movement of the holding member 16.
[0036] The connecting portion 5b of the retaining member 16 has a cylindrical engagement wall 5c that extends radially outward from the stem 5a and in the forward / backward direction around the central axis O, a connecting wall 5d that connects the upper end of the engagement wall 5c to the outer peripheral surface of the stem 5a, and an upper receiving portion 5e that protrudes radially outward in a stepped manner from the upper end of the outer peripheral surface of the engagement wall 5c and receives the upper end of the second biasing member 14.
[0037] The second biasing member 14 biases the first cylinder 24 in the backward direction via an engagement portion 26 between the concave and convex portions of the inner circumferential surface of the engagement wall 5c of the connecting portion 5b and the outer circumferential surface of the first cylinder 24. A gap G of a predetermined size is set between the lower surface of the connecting wall 5d of the connecting portion 5b and the upper end surface of the first cylinder 24 so that the connecting wall 5d of the connecting portion 5b presses the first cylinder 24 in the forward direction when it is at the forward limit position relative to the first cylinder 24 (see FIG. 4).
[0038] The first biasing member 13 is configured by a compression spring that is compressed by the connecting wall 5d of the connecting portion 5b and the first piston 3 in the forward / backward direction.
[0039] The head body 7 is attached to the upper end of the stem 5a. The nozzle tip 8 is attached to a fitting groove provided on the side of the head body 7, forming a flow path between the head body 7 and the nozzle tip 8 for discharging (i.e., spraying) the contents in a mist form from the discharge port 18d. The upper surface of the head body 7 forms an operated portion 15a that is pressed down from the outside. The nozzle head 15 moves forward and backward together with the holding member 16 relative to the second cylinder 4 and the container body 20 in response to the pressing down operation.
[0040] The internal flow path 18 has a pump chamber 18a, an upstream flow path 18b located upstream of the pump chamber 18a, and a downstream flow path 18c located downstream of the pump chamber 18a. The pump chamber 18a is defined by the first cylinder 24, the first piston 3, the second cylinder 4, and the second piston 25. The upstream flow path 18b is defined by the pipe 11. The downstream flow path 18c is defined by the first piston 3, the stem 5a, the piston guide 6, and the nozzle head 15. The discharge port 18d is provided in the nozzle tip 8 and is located at the most downstream portion of the downstream flow path 18c.
[0041] The pressure accumulator 17 closes the downstream flow path 18c of the internal flow path 18 when the seating portion 3a of the first piston 3 seats on the seated portion 6a of the holding member 16 in the forward direction due to the biasing force from the first biasing member 13.
[0042] The upper lid 21 opens and closes the dispenser 1. The upper lid 21 has a cylindrical outer wall 21a that is centered on the central axis O when the upper lid 21 closes the dispenser 1, and a top wall 21b that is continuous with the upper end of the outer wall 21a. The lower end of the outer wall 21a is detachably attached to the outer peripheral surface of the outer cylindrical wall 10d of the attachment cap 10.
[0043] The dispenser 1 of this embodiment is configured as described above, and operates as follows when pressed down.
[0044] As shown in FIG. 2, when the holding member 16 moves forward relative to the second cylinder 4 by a downward pushing operation against the biasing force of the second biasing member 14, first, the holding member 16 moves forward relative to the first cylinder 24 together with the first piston 3, with the pressure accumulating section 17 blocking the downstream flow path 18c due to the biasing force from the first biasing member 13, and the internal pressure of the pump chamber 18a increases.
[0045] 3, when the seat 3a moves upward from the seated portion 6a against the biasing force of the first biasing member 13 due to the increased internal pressure of the pump chamber 18a, the contents of the pump chamber 18a that have accumulated pressure flow downstream between the seat 3a and the seated portion 6a and are forcefully discharged (sprayed) from the discharge port 18d. This achieves forceful discharge from the initial stage of the depression operation, and as a result, dripping from the discharge port 18d can be suppressed.
[0046] Further depression of the pump 16 advances the holding member 16 relative to the first cylinder 24 to its forward limit position, where the connecting portion 5b abuts against the upper end of the first cylinder 24. As shown in FIG. 4 , the connecting portion 5b presses the first cylinder 24 forward, causing the holding member 16 to advance relative to the second cylinder 4, along with the first cylinder 24 and the second piston 25. As a result, the contents of the pump chamber 18a flow downstream between the seating portion 3a and the seated portion 6a and are forcefully discharged (sprayed) from the discharge port 18d. This achieves forceful discharge even after the initial stage of the depression, and as a result, dripping from the discharge port 18d is suppressed. Furthermore, the first piston 3 abuts against the restricting step 24b in the forward direction, maintaining the seating portion 3a spaced apart from the seated portion 6a in the backward direction, thereby preventing the depression from becoming heavy.
[0047] When the holding member 16, together with the second piston 25, reaches the limit of its forward movement relative to the second cylinder 4, the lower end of the second cylindrical shaft 25b abuts against the upper surfaces of the multiple vertical ribs 4i, restricting further forward movement.
[0048] When the pushing-down operation is released, first, the biasing force of the second biasing member 14 causes the holding member 16 to retreat relative to the first cylinder 24, then the biasing force of the first biasing member 13 causes the seating portion 3a to seat on the seated portion 6a, blocking the downstream flow path 18c, and then, in this seated state, the biasing force of the second biasing member 14 causes the holding member 16, first piston 3, and first cylinder / second piston member 2 to retreat relative to the second cylinder 4 to their positions before the pushing-down operation. Furthermore, due to this retreating operation, the internal pressure of the pump chamber 18a decreases, opening the suction valve 23, and the contents flow from inside the container body 20 into the pump chamber 18a through the upstream flow path 18b.
[0049] According to this embodiment, in the initial stage of the depression operation, a small amount of content can be accumulated in the pressure accumulator 17 by the first cylinder 24 and the first piston 3 and forcefully discharged, and after the initial stage of the depression operation, a large amount of content can be forcefully discharged by the second cylinder 4 and the second piston 25. Therefore, according to this embodiment, it is possible to easily achieve a large amount of discharge (spray) while preventing the cylinder stroke from becoming long and preventing the depression operation from becoming heavy.
[0050] The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and various modifications can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention.
[0051] Therefore, the dispenser 1 of the above-described embodiment comprises a first cylinder 24, a first piston 3 sliding on the first cylinder 24, a second cylinder 4 attached to the opening 20a of the container body 20, a second piston 25 sliding on the second cylinder 4, a holding member 16 which moves forward and backward with the first cylinder 24 and the second piston 25 relative to the second cylinder 4 by external operation and which moves forward and backward with the first piston 3 relative to the first cylinder 24 during the forward and backward movement, and a holding member 16 which moves forward and backward with the first cylinder 24 and the first piston 25 relative to the second cylinder 4 by external operation. The dispenser 1 can be modified as long as it has an internal flow path 18 that discharges the contents in the container body 20 through a pump chamber 18a partitioned by the first cylinder 3, the second cylinder 4 and the second piston 25 in response to the forward and backward movement of the holding member 16, a pressure accumulator 17 that blocks the internal flow path 18 when the seating portion 3a of the first piston 3 seats in the forward direction against the seated portion 6a of the holding member 16 due to the force from the first biasing member 13, and a second biasing member 14 that biases the holding member 16 in the backward direction relative to the second cylinder 4.
[0052] For example, the dispenser 1 is not limited to a configuration in which the discharge port 18d discharges the contents in a mist form. Furthermore, the dispenser 1 is not limited to a configuration in which the second biasing member 14 biases the first cylinder 24 in the backward direction via the engaging portion 26 between the connecting portion 5b and the first cylinder 24. Furthermore, the dispenser 1 is not limited to a configuration in which the connecting portion 5b presses the first cylinder 24 in the forward direction at the forward limit position relative to the first cylinder 24. The first cylinder 24 is not limited to a configuration having a restricting step portion 24b. The second cylinder bottom 4d is not limited to a configuration having a plurality of vertical ribs 4i.
[0053] In the dispenser 1 of the above-described embodiment, the retaining member 16 preferably includes a cylindrical stem 5a extending in the forward / backward direction, a piston guide 6 attached to the inner peripheral surface of the stem 5a and having a seating portion 6a, and a connecting portion 5b radially outwardly of the stem 5a and integrally connected to the stem 5a, which is biased in the backward direction by a second biasing member 14. The retaining member 16 is not limited to a configuration including a nozzle head 15. The dispenser 1 is not limited to a nozzle head 15 type that dispenses the contents by pressing down the nozzle head 15, but may also be configured as a trigger type that dispenses the contents by pulling a trigger. The connecting portion 5b and the stem 5a may be formed separately and then assembled to form the stem member 5.
[0054] In the above-described embodiment, the discharger 1 is preferably configured such that the first biasing member 13 is a compression spring that is compressed by the connecting portion 5b and the first piston 3 in the advancing / retracting direction.
[0055] In the above-described embodiment, the discharger 1 is preferably configured such that the connecting portion 5 b presses the first cylinder 24 in the forward direction when the connecting portion 5 b is at the forward limit position relative to the first cylinder 24 .
[0056] In the above-described embodiment, it is preferable that the discharger 1 is a discharger 1 in which, in the above configuration, the second biasing member 14 biases the first cylinder 24 in the backward direction via the engagement portion 26 between the connecting portion 5b and the first cylinder 24.
