[0029] It should be understood that although the terms "first," "second," "third," "fourth," and so on may be used in this application to describe various information, such information should not be limited to these descriptions. These terms are used only to distinguish information of the same type from one another. "Multiple" means two or more. The various embodiments in this application may complement each other unless there is a conflict.
[0030] The fluid control component of the technical solution of the present application can have multiple implementation methods, at least one of which can be applied to a vehicle thermal management system, and at least one of which can be applied to other thermal management systems such as a household thermal management system or a commercial thermal management system. The following is an explanation using a vehicle thermal management device as an example with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0031] A fluid control component 100 includes a connector 10 and a valve core 12. The connector 10 has a accommodating cavity 104 and a connecting port 14. The connecting port 14 is connected to the accommodating cavity 104, and at least part of the valve core 12 is located in the accommodating cavity 104. The connector 10 includes a side wall portion 101. The connecting port 14 is located in the side wall portion 101. The wall portion forming the accommodating cavity 104 includes the side wall portion 101. The connecting port 14 includes a first port 141 and a second port 142. The valve core 12 can connect the first port 141 with the second port 142. The fluid control component 100 includes a flow channel 103. The flow channel 103 is located on the outer periphery of the side wall portion 101. The flow channel 103 connects the first port 141 and the second port 142. It should be noted that, depending on the rotational position of the valve core 12, the first port 141 and the second port 142 of the fluid control assembly 100 can be connected or disconnected in different modes. That is, coolant flows into the first port 141, changes direction through the valve core 12, and flows out of the second port 142. The fluid control assembly 100 includes a flow channel 103, which connects the first port 141 and the second port 142. The first port 141 and the second port 142 are directly connected through the flow channel 103. It can be understood that in the thermal management circuit, the coolant flowing out of the first port 141 exchanges heat with the thermal management element, and then part of the coolant flowing out of the thermal management element returns to the first port 141 through the flow channel 103 and mixes with the coolant flowing out of the first port 141. The structure of this solution can achieve the self-circulation of the thermal management element described above, and can also adjust the coolant temperature by mixing the two coolants at different temperatures. The flow channel 103 is provided on the outer periphery of the side wall portion 101 of the connector 10, and the structure is relatively simple.
[0032] In conjunction with Figures 1 to 9, in the first specific embodiment of the present application, the fluid control component 100 includes a connector 10 and a valve core 12, the connector 10 has a accommodating cavity 104 and a connecting port 14, the connecting port 14 is adjacent to the accommodating cavity 104 and is connected to the accommodating cavity 104, at least part of the valve core 12 is located in the accommodating cavity 104, the connector 10 includes a side wall portion 101 and a bottom wall portion 102, the side wall portion 101 forms at least part of the peripheral wall of the accommodating cavity 104, and the connecting port 14 is located in the side wall portion 101; the fluid control component 100 may also include a cover body 11, the side wall portion 101, the bottom wall portion 102 and the cover body 11 define the accommodating cavity 104, the bottom wall portion 102 and the side wall portion 101 are integrally injection molded into an integrated structure, and the cover body 11 is sealed and fixedly connected to the side wall portion 101. In some embodiments, the bottom wall portion 102 and the side wall portion 101 are integrally injection-molded into an integrated structure, and the cover body 11 and the side wall portion 101 are fixed by welding, and can also be fixed by bonding or clamping.
[0033] At least a portion of the valve core 12 is located in the accommodating chamber 104, and the valve core 12 is capable of rotating under the drive of the driving member 13. Specifically, the fluid control assembly 100 further includes a driving assembly, which includes a driving member 13. The driving member 13 may include a motor or a combination of a motor and a transmission gear set. The driving member 13 is in transmission connection with the valve core 12, so that the driving member 13 drives the valve core 12 to rotate. Specifically, the cover body 11 is provided with a mounting hole 110, and the mounting hole 110 extends through both ends of the cover body 11. The valve core 12 includes a connecting portion 121, which passes through the mounting hole 110 on the cover body 11 and is in transmission connection with the driving member 13, so that the driving member 13 can drive the valve core 12 to rotate through the connecting portion 121. The valve core 12 also includes a top plate 122, a bottom plate 123 and multiple partitions (not shown in the figure, refer to the valve core structure of the known technology). Along the axial direction of the valve core 12, the partition is located between the top plate 122 and the bottom plate 123. The multiple partitions, the top plate 122 and the bottom plate 123 divide the valve core 12 into pairs of independent chambers. Through the rotation of the valve core 12, different chambers are connected to the corresponding connecting ports 14, thereby realizing the switching of the flow path.
[0034] The fluid control assembly 100 includes a first stop block 124 and a second stop block 125. The first stop block 124 is located on the top plate 122 of the valve core 12. The first stop block 124 protrudes from the top plate 122 and is fixedly connected to the top plate 122 as an integral structure. Along the axial direction of the valve core 12, the first stop block 124 extends from the top plate 122 in a direction away from the bottom plate 123; the second stop block 125 is located on the cover body 11. The second stop block 125 is fixedly connected to the cover body 11 as an integral structure. The second stop block 125 extends from the cover body 11 in a direction close to the bottom plate 123. When the valve core 12 rotates to a predetermined position, the first stop block 124 and the second stop block 125 abut against each other and limit the valve core 12 from continuing to rotate. Specifically, the orthographic projections of the first stopper 124 and the second stopper 125 along the axial direction are both fan-shaped. When the first stopper 124 and the second stopper 125 abut against each other, at least a portion of the side of the first stopper 124 abuts against the side of the second stopper 125. This fan-shaped design increases the force-bearing area when the first stopper 124 and the second stopper 125 abut against each other, making the force more uniform and further improving the life of the fluid control assembly 100. Furthermore, the first stopper 124 and the second stopper 125 can form a position reference between the valve core 12 and the connector 10, making the rotational position of the valve core 12 more accurate and improving the precision of the fluid control assembly 100. The connecting portion 121 can be connected to the driving member 13 in a transmission manner to drive the rotation of the valve core 12. The first stop block 124 is fixedly connected to the top plate 122 near the connecting portion 121, and the second stop block 125 is fixedly connected to the cover body 11 near the connecting portion 121, so that when the first stop block 124 and the second stop block 125 abut against each other, the first stop block 124 and the second stop block 125 are closer to the connecting portion 121 and the driving member 13, and the driving force arm they are subjected to is smaller, which can reduce the degree of torsional deformation of the valve core 12 and improve the stability of the operation of the fluid control component 100.
[0035] In this embodiment, along the axial direction, the driving member 13 is located on the outside and above the connecting body 10, and the connecting portion 121 passes through the mounting hole 110 of the cover body 11 and is transmission-connected to the driving member 13. In order to make the fluid control component 100 operate more stably, the driving member 13 is fixedly connected or limit-connected to the cover body 11. Specifically, the driving member 13 and the cover body 11 are threadedly connected. The driving member 13 includes a mounting portion 131, and the mounting portion 131 is located on the outer periphery of the driving member 13. The cover body 11 includes a mating portion 111, and the mating portion 111 has a threaded hole. The mounting portion 131 has a through hole. The mating portion 111 and the mounting portion 131 are threadedly connected by bolts or screws. Multiple groups of mounting portions 131 and mating portions 111 can be provided. In this embodiment, the driving member 13 is fixedly connected to the cover body 11, the cover body 11 is welded and fixed to the side wall portion 101 of the connecting body 10, the first stop block 124 is fixedly connected to the top plate 122 near the connecting portion 121, and the second stop block 125 is fixedly connected to the cover body 11 near the connecting portion 121, so that when the first stop block 124 and the second stop block 125 abut, the force on the weld area is reduced. The structural setting of this embodiment can prevent the cracking of the weld between the cover body 11 and the side wall portion 101.
[0036] The fluid control assembly 100 includes a plurality of communication ports 14, where "plurality" refers to three or more. The plurality of communication ports 14 are located on the side wall portion 101 of the connector 10. The connector 10 also includes flow channels, which are connected to the corresponding communication ports 14. In this embodiment, the axial direction of the accommodating cavity 104 is perpendicular or approximately perpendicular to the height direction of the fluid control assembly 100. This arrangement can reduce the volume of the fluid control assembly 100. As can be seen from Figures 3 and 6, the fluid control assembly includes a plurality of communication ports 14, which are in communication with the corresponding flow channels, that is, one communication port corresponds to one flow channel, and the ports of the above-mentioned flow channels are on the same plane portion of the connector. This design is conducive to injection molding. In addition, for the arrangement of multiple layers of flow channels in the axial direction of the accommodating cavity 104, such as the arrangement of two layers of flow channels in this embodiment, the design of this structure is conducive to demolding and core pulling during injection molding.
[0037] The fluid control assembly 100 may also include a first flow channel plate 21, which is sealed with the connector 10, and the flow channel of the connector 10 is connected to the flow channel of the first flow channel plate 21. Optionally, the first flow channel plate 21 can be welded to the connector 10. Of course, in some other embodiments, the fluid control assembly 100 also includes a second flow channel plate 22, which is sealed with the first flow channel plate 21. Along the height direction of the fluid control assembly 100, the connector 10 is located on one side of the first flow channel plate 21, and the second flow channel plate 22 is located on the other side of the first flow channel plate 21. The first flow channel plate 21 and the second flow channel plate 22 are sealed. Compared with the known technology, the valve housing has an interface, the flow channel plate has a corresponding interface, the valve core 12 is located in the valve housing, and the valve housing is sealed and fastened to the flow channel plate by a sealing ring. In the solution of this embodiment, the connector 10 and the first flow channel plate 21 are welded, and there is no need to use a sealing ring, which has a better sealing effect.
[0038] As shown in Figures 3, 4, 6 and 7, the fluid control component 100 has multiple connecting ports 14 and flow channels 103, wherein two of the multiple connecting ports 14 are connected through the flow channel 103 to form a bypass, and the multiple connecting ports 14 are respectively a first port 141, a second port 142, a third port 143, a fourth port 144, a fifth port 145, a sixth port 146, a seventh port 147 and an eighth port 148. It can be understood that along the axial direction of the accommodating cavity 104, the eight communicating ports 14 are evenly divided into two rows. Specifically, the first port 141, the second port 142, the third port 143, and the fourth port 144 are arranged at intervals in the first row, and the fifth port 145, the sixth port 146, the seventh port 147, and the eighth port 148 are arranged at intervals in the second row. Along the axial direction, the first port 141 is corresponding to the fifth port 145, the fourth port 144 is corresponding to the sixth port 146, the third port 143 is corresponding to the seventh port 147, and the second port 142 is corresponding to the eighth port 148. Through the rotation of the valve core 12, one communicating port 14 can be selectively connected with the adjacent communicating port 14. For example, the first port 141 can be selectively connected with the fourth port 144 and the fifth port 145 as the valve core 12 rotates. The fluid control assembly 100 includes a flow channel 103. In this embodiment, the flow channel 103 connects a first port 141 with a second port 142. The eight communication ports 14 are located on the same side of the sidewall 101 of the connector 10. This facilitates the layout of the flow channel and the integration of the connector 10 with the flow channel plate, thereby simplifying the fluid control assembly 100. As can be seen in Figures 1 and 5, the flow channel 103 is located on the outer periphery of the sidewall 101 of the connector 10, and on the opposite side of the communication ports 14. At least a portion of the wall forming the flow channel 103 is integrally injection molded with the connector 10 to form a one-piece structure. The flow channel of the connector 10 includes a first sub-channel 151, a second sub-channel 152, a third sub-channel 153, a fourth sub-channel 154, a fifth sub-channel 155, a sixth sub-channel 156, a seventh sub-channel 157, and an eighth sub-channel 158. The eight communication ports 14 are respectively connected to corresponding flow channels. For example, the first sub-channel 151 is connected to the first port 141, the second sub-channel 152 is connected to the second port 142, the third sub-channel 153 is connected to the third port 143, and so on. The connector 10 includes a first flow port 17 and a second flow port 18. The first flow port 17 is located in the wall forming the first sub-channel 151, and the second flow port 18 is located in the wall forming the second sub-channel 152. The first flow port 17 is connected to the flow channel 103, and the second flow port 18 is connected to the flow channel 103. It can be understood that the first port 141 is connected to the first sub-channel 151, and the first sub-channel 151 is connected to the flow channel 103 through the first circulation port 17, then the first port 141 is connected to the flow channel 103; the second port 142 is connected to the second sub-channel 152, and the second sub-channel 152 is connected to the flow channel 103 through the second circulation port 18, then the second port 142 is connected to the flow channel 103.
[0039] The connector 10 includes a first interface 105 and a second interface 106. The first interface 105 communicates with the port of the first sub-channel 151 or is the port of the first sub-channel 151. The second interface 106 communicates with the port of the second sub-channel 152 or is the port of the second sub-channel 152. The first interface 105 and the second interface 106 are located on the same plane of the connector 10. Of course, the connector also includes other interfaces, such as a third interface communicating with the port of the third sub-channel, a fourth interface communicating with the fourth sub-channel, and so on. These interfaces are all located on the same plane of the connector, which facilitates injection molding, core pulling, and demolding of the connector.
[0040] In other embodiments, the fluid control assembly 100 includes a connecting pipe 16 having a flow channel 103. Both ends of the connecting pipe 16 are sealed and fixedly connected to the connector 10. One end of the connecting pipe 16 communicates with the first port 141, and the other end of the connecting pipe 16 communicates with the second port 142. The connecting pipe 16 and the connector 10 can be fixed by welding or fastened with a sealing ring.
[0041] The thermal management component of this embodiment is applied to the thermal management system of a vehicle. The following briefly introduces one of the thermal management systems. Due to the development of refrigerants, current thermal management systems tend to be secondary circuit thermal management systems, that is, the passenger compartment and the battery and motor circuits all use coolant for temperature regulation, and the coolant and the refrigerant exchange heat. With this arrangement, the module structure on the refrigerant side is relatively simple, and it is conducive to the miniaturization of the refrigerant side module, and the amount of refrigerant used is also relatively reduced. Specifically, as shown in FIG17 , the thermal management system includes a first heat exchanger 50, a second heat exchanger 60, a fluid control assembly 100, and a pump. The thermal management system also includes a first circuit and a second circuit. In the first circuit, one port of the second heat exchanger 60 communicates with the eighth port 148 of the fluid control assembly 100, one port of the second heat exchanger 60 communicates with the fourth port 144 of the fluid control assembly 100, one port of the first heat exchanger 50 communicates with the second port 142 of the fluid control assembly 100, and another port of the first heat exchanger 50 communicates with the first port 141 of the fluid control assembly 100. The other two ports of the first heat exchanger 50 are provided with bypasses, which are flow channels 103 on the fluid control assembly 100. In this embodiment, the first heat exchanger 50 is a battery heat exchanger. The first port 141 communicates with one port of the battery via a first sub-channel 151, and the second port 142 communicates with another port of the battery via a fourth sub-channel 154. The flow channels 103 are connected in parallel within the battery circuit. The first circuit primarily provides thermal management for the battery. The second circuit includes a third heat exchanger 70 , one port of the third heat exchanger 70 is connected to one port of the first heat exchanger 50 , and the other port of the third heat exchanger 70 is connected to the other port of the first heat exchanger 50 . The second circuit mainly exchanges heat for the passenger compartment.
[0042] In one working mode of the thermal management system, the refrigerant in the second heat exchanger 60 exchanges heat with the coolant, thereby cooling the battery. The coolant in the battery circuit flows through the second heat exchanger 60 and exchanges heat with the refrigerant in the second heat exchanger 60. The coolant cooled by heat exchange flows through the first heat exchanger 50, i.e., the battery, to cool down. If the coolant after heat exchange is too cold, it will affect the working performance of the battery after cooling the battery. It is necessary to adjust the temperature of the coolant after the refrigerant heat exchange. Using the solution in this embodiment, a bypass is connected in parallel to the battery port. In the present application, the fluid control assembly 100 is provided with a flow channel 103 to implement a bypass function. Specifically, flow channel 103 connects the first port 141 and the second port 142 of the fluid control assembly 100, or connects the first sub-channel 151 and the second sub-channel 152. After heat exchange with the battery, the coolant temperature increases. Some of the heated coolant at the battery outlet enters the first sub-channel 151 through flow channel 103. The low-temperature coolant flowing out of the heat exchanger and the higher-temperature coolant flowing out of flow channel 103 mix to form a medium-temperature coolant, which cools the battery. It should be noted that the coolant that has undergone heat exchange from the second heat exchanger 60 can selectively flow into the battery circuit, the passenger compartment circuit, or both circuits. When cooling both the battery and the passenger compartment simultaneously, if the required temperature of the passenger compartment is lower than that of the battery, the coolant temperature passing through the battery circuit may be too low.
[0043] In another operating mode of the thermal management system, the battery circuit can be self-circulating, that is, driven by the water pump, the coolant enters from one port of the first heat exchanger 50 to exchange heat with the battery, flows out from the other port of the first heat exchanger 50, and the coolant re-enters the first heat exchanger 50 through the flow channel 103, thus repeating the cycle.
[0044] As shown in Figures 10-16 , in the second specific embodiment of the present application, the axis of the accommodating cavity 104 for accommodating the valve core 12 is parallel or substantially parallel to the height direction of the fluid control assembly 100. That is, the accommodating cavity 104 has an opening along the height direction of the fluid control assembly 100. The fluid control assembly 100 includes eight communication ports 14, namely a first port 141, a second port 142, a third port 143, a fourth port 144, a fifth port 145, a sixth port 146, a seventh port 147, and an eighth port 148. It can be understood that along the axial direction of the accommodating cavity 104, the eight communication ports 14 are evenly arranged in two rows. Specifically, the first group of communication ports 14 is defined to include a first port 141, a second port 142, a third port 143, and a fourth port 144, and the first port 141, the second port 142, the third port 143, and the fourth port 144 are spaced apart and arranged in the same row of the side wall portion 101 of the connector 10, and the second group of connection ports includes a fifth port 145, a sixth port 146, a seventh port 147, and an eighth port 148, and the fifth port 145, the sixth port 146, the seventh port 147, the fourth port 144 are spaced apart and arranged in the same row of the side wall portion 101 of the connector 10. The eight ports 148 are arranged at intervals in the second row of the side wall portion 101 of the connecting body 10; along the axial direction of the accommodating cavity 104, the first port 141 is corresponding to the fifth port 145, the fourth port 144 is corresponding to the sixth port 146, the third port 143 is corresponding to the seventh port 147, and the second port 142 is corresponding to the eighth port 148. Through the rotation of the valve core 12, one communication port 14 can be selectively connected with the adjacent communication port 14. For example, the first port 141 can be selectively connected with the fourth port 144 or the fifth port 145 as the valve core 12 rotates.
[0045] The flow channels of the connector 10 include a first sub-channel 151, a second sub-channel 152, a third sub-channel 153, a fourth sub-channel 154, a fifth sub-channel 155, a sixth sub-channel 156, a seventh sub-channel 157 and an eighth sub-channel 158. The eight connecting ports 14 are respectively connected to the corresponding flow channels. For example, the first sub-channel 151 is connected to the first port 141, the second sub-channel 152 is connected to the second port 142, the third sub-channel 153 is connected to the third port 143, and so on.
[0046] The connector 10 includes a first groove 201, and the first groove 201 has an opening along the height direction of the fluid control component 100. The fluid control component 100 includes a first plate 204, and the first plate 204 is fixedly connected to the connector 10. The wall portion forming the flow channel 103 includes a portion of the wall portion forming the first groove 201 and a portion of the wall portion of the first plate 204. The first plate 204 and the connector 10 can be fixed by welding, and of course, they can also be fixed by bonding, threading, etc. The wall portion forming the first sub-channel 151 includes a portion of the wall portion forming the first groove 201 and a portion of the wall portion of the first plate 204, and the wall portion forming the second sub-channel 152 includes a portion of the wall portion forming the first groove 201 and a portion of the wall portion of the first plate 204. It can be understood that the flow channel, the first sub-channel, and the second sub-channel share the first groove and the first plate, so the structure of this design is simpler and easier to process and manufacture. The first flow channel plate 21 further includes a second groove 202 and a third groove 203. Along the height direction of the fluid control assembly 100, or along the axial direction of the accommodating chamber 104, the second groove 202 and the third groove 203 are arranged opposite each other. That is, the opening direction of the second groove 202 is opposite to the opening direction of the third groove 203. Alternatively, a portion of the second groove 202 and a portion of the third groove 203 share a common bottom, and the opening direction of the first groove 201 is the same as the opening direction of the second groove 202. The first group of flow channels is defined as comprising the third sub-channel 153 and the fourth sub-channel 154, and the second group of flow channels as comprising the fifth sub-channel 155, the sixth sub-channel 156, the seventh sub-channel 157, and the eighth sub-channel 158. The first group of flow channels includes a portion of the second groove 202, and the second group of flow channels includes a portion of the third groove 203. The fluid control component 100 also includes a second plate body 205 and a third plate body 206. The second plate body 205 is fixedly connected to the connecting body 10, and the third plate body 206 is fixedly connected to the connecting body 10. Specifically, the second plate body 205 and the wall portion forming the second groove 202 define a portion of the first group of flow channels, and the third plate body 206 and the wall portion forming the third groove 203 define a portion of the second group of flow channels.
[0047] In this embodiment, the first port 141 and the second port 142 are directly connected through the flow channel 103, or the first port 141 and the second port 142 can be connected through the rotation of the valve core 12. With this design, in the thermal management system, the first port 141 is connected to one port of the thermal management element, and the second port 142 is connected to the other port of the thermal management element. During operation of the thermal management system, the first port 141 and the second port 142 are connected through the flow channel 103. In some operating modes, the thermal management element achieves self-circulation. That is, driven by the water pump, coolant enters the thermal management element from one port to exchange heat with the thermal management element, flows out from the other port of the thermal management element, and re-enters the thermal management element through the flow channel 103, repeating the cycle. In some operating modes, the temperature of the coolant entering the thermal management element is adjusted within a certain range. That is, some of the coolant flowing out of the thermal management element after heat exchange is mixed with coolant of a different temperature flowing in from other circuits through the flow channel 103 to reach a suitable temperature before re-entering the thermal management element for heat exchange. It should be noted that the above-mentioned thermal management elements refer to components such as motors and batteries that need to be cooled or heated.
[0048] As shown in FIG17 , the present application further provides a thermal management system, comprising a first heat exchanger 50 and the aforementioned fluid control assembly 100. The first heat exchanger 50 and the fluid control assembly 100 communicate to form part of a first circuit. The fluid control assembly 100 comprises a first port 141 and a second port 142. The first port 141 communicates with one port of the first heat exchanger 50, the second port 142 communicates with one port of the first heat exchanger 50, one port of the flow channel 103 communicates with one port of the first heat exchanger 50, and the other port of the flow channel 103 communicates with another port of the first heat exchanger 50. In some operating modes of the thermal management system, the first port 141 and the second port 142 are selectively communicated via the valve core 12.
[0049] In some embodiments, the thermal management system further includes a second heat exchanger 60 and a third heat exchanger 70. The second heat exchanger 60, the first heat exchanger 50, and the fluid control assembly 100 form part of a first circuit, exchanging heat with the battery. The second heat exchanger 60 and the third heat exchanger 70 form part of a second circuit, exchanging heat with the passenger compartment. The thermal management system further includes a first pump 80 and a second pump 90. The first pump 80 is located in the first circuit, and the second pump 90 is located in the second circuit. The thermal management system also includes a valve component 30. In this embodiment, a three-way valve is used. The first port of the three-way valve is connected to the second heat exchanger 60, the second port is connected to the first heat exchanger 50, and the third port is connected to the third heat exchanger 70. After the coolant exchanges heat with the refrigerant in the second heat exchanger 60, the second heat exchanger 60 can selectively connect to the first heat exchanger 50 and / or the third heat exchanger 70 in different operating modes. When the second heat exchanger 60 is connected to the first heat exchanger 50 and the third heat exchanger 70 at the same time, due to the different required temperatures of the passenger compartment and the battery, the required temperature of the passenger compartment is lower, but the temperature of the coolant coming out of the second heat exchanger 60 is the same. The coolant entering the first circuit, that is, the second heat exchanger 60 (battery heat exchanger), needs to be temperature-controlled. The flow channel 103 set in the present application can solve the above problem. It is only necessary to set the flow channel 103 in the fluid control element to achieve mixed coolant cooling. There is no need to add new control elements. The structure of the fluid control element is relatively simple.
