[0001] The present disclosure relates to a machining proposal table creating device and a machining proposal table creating program that create a machining proposal table used in the field of machine tools.
[0002] The following Patent Document 1 describes a machining information creation system that supports CAM, which creates NC data used for machining workpieces from part drawing data designed by CAD. The machining information creation system of Patent Document 1 inputs part drawing data and workpiece material drawing data, and performs division of machining processes, setup settings, setting of machining areas for each tool used in machining, and determination of machining order and conditions, etc., based on the input data.
[0003] Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 61-103212
[0004] Incidentally, there are cases where a machining proposal table is created that indicates the machining details of the workpiece, such as when proposing the machining of a new workpiece or when purchasing a machine tool for machining the new workpiece. This machining proposal table records setting data such as the order in which the workpiece will be machined, the types of tools to be used, the machining conditions, and the cycle time. Since the machining proposal table contains multiple setting data, there is a risk that a user will want to check the original setting data while reusing a previous machining proposal table to create a new machining proposal table. For this reason, a technology is needed that allows the user to check the setting data of the source while creating a new machining proposal table.
[0005] The present disclosure has been made in consideration of the above-mentioned problems, and aims to provide a processing proposal table creation device and a processing proposal table creation program that allow users to check the setting data of the source while creating a new processing proposal table.
[0006] In order to solve the above problems, this specification discloses a processing proposal table creation device that creates a new processing proposal table using a processing proposal table stored in a storage device, the processing proposal table comprising an input unit and a processing unit that processes information input via the input unit, the processing proposal table having management information that manages the processing proposal table and setting data related to the processing of workpieces for each process, the processing unit performing a creation process that supplements information necessary to create the new processing proposal table based on the processing proposal table stored in the storage device, and creates the new processing proposal table based on the supplemented information and the information input via the input unit, and a citation information display process that displays the management information of the source processing proposal table used to create the new processing proposal table in the creation process, and displays the setting data of the source processing proposal table as citation setting data.
[0007] Furthermore, the contents of the present disclosure are not limited to implementation as a processing proposal table creation device, but are also extremely effective when implemented as a processing proposal table creation program for creating a new processing proposal table, a storage medium storing a processing proposal table creation program, etc.
[0008] According to the processing proposal table creation device and processing proposal table creation program disclosed herein, in the creation process for creating a new processing proposal table, management information of the citing processing proposal table can be displayed and confirmed by the user. Furthermore, by displaying the cited setting data, the setting data of the citing processing proposal table can be confirmed while creating the new processing proposal table. After changing the setting data, the setting data before the change can be confirmed, allowing the setting data to be changed appropriately.

[0010] (Regarding the Processing Proposal Table Creation System 10) An embodiment of the processing proposal table creation device of the present disclosure will now be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 shows a block diagram of the processing proposal table creation system (hereinafter referred to as the creation system) 10 of this embodiment. As shown in FIG. 1, the creation system 10 includes a processing proposal table creation device (hereinafter referred to as the creation device) 11 and client terminals 13 installed in each production factory 12. The creation system 10 is a system that provides a service for creating a processing proposal table from the creation device 11 to the client terminals 13.
[0011] The creation device 11 is, for example, a server device and includes a CPU 21, a storage device 22, a user IF (abbreviation of interface) 23, and a network IF 24. The CPU 21 and other components are connected to each other via a communication bus 25 for communication. The storage device 22 is, for example, a combination of RAM, ROM, a hard disk, etc. The storage device 22 stores an operating system (OS) 26, a processing proposal table creation program (hereinafter referred to as the creation program) 27, and management data 28. The OS 26 is, for example, Windows (registered trademark) Server OS, and controls the creation device 11 overall and provides basic services and functions to various application programs. The creation program 27 is an application program that creates the above-mentioned processing proposal table using the services and functions of the OS 26. By executing the OS 26 and the creation program 27 on the CPU 21, the creation device 11 performs processes such as sending and receiving data to and from the client terminal 13, and creating, modifying, storing, and outputting the processing proposal table. The management data 28 stores a plurality of processing proposal tables DT1 and management information data DT2. The processing proposal tables DT1 and management information data DT2 will be described in detail later. The OS 26 is not limited to a Windows (registered trademark) Server OS, but may also be a UNIX (registered trademark)-based Server OS such as Linux (registered trademark) using server software such as Apache (registered trademark). The OS 26 is not limited to a Server OS, but may also be a Windows (registered trademark) OS, Macintosh (registered trademark) OS, UNIX (registered trademark)-based OS, or other types of client OS. That is, the terminal on which the creation program 27 is installed is not limited to a server, but may also be a client terminal. The client terminal may be used directly by the user, or may be used remotely using a remote desktop function or the like.
[0012] Furthermore, the storage device 22 that stores the creation program 27 is not limited to the configuration described above. The storage device 22 may be a flash memory, an SSD, or a portable storage medium such as a USB memory or an external hard disk that is detachably attached to the creation device 11. The medium that stores the creation program 27 may also be a recording medium such as a CD-ROM or a DVD-ROM.
[0013] The user IF 23 includes, for example, a display device such as an LCD, and input devices such as a keyboard and a mouse. The network IF 24 is, for example, a LAN interface, and is connected to the network 15 via a router (not shown) or the like. The network 15 is, for example, a WAN such as the Internet.
[0014] The production factory 12 has, for example, a production line with multiple machine tools. The client terminal 13 is, for example, a personal computer on which a CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) application program (hereinafter referred to as a CAM program) 17 is installed, enabling the creation of NC programs. Note that the client terminal 13 is not limited to a personal computer, and may be other information processing devices such as a laptop PC, a tablet terminal, or a smartphone. The client terminal 13 is able to access the creation device 11 via a network 15.
[0015] The above-described configuration of the creation system 10 is merely an example. For example, the management data 28 may be stored in a device (such as a database server) separate from the creation device 11 (server). The creation device 11 may be installed within the local network of the production factory 12. A server using a cloud storage service such as AWS (Amazon Web Services, a registered trademark) may be used as the creation device 11. The device (creation device 11) that creates the machining proposal table DT1 and the terminal (client terminal 13) that uses it may be the same device. For example, both the creation program 27 and the CAM program 17 may be installed in the client terminal 13, and the client terminal 13 may be used to create both the machining proposal table DT1 and the NC program using the CAM program 17. Therefore, the machining proposal table creation device disclosed herein may be a server device or a standalone device. In the present embodiment, when the creation device 11, which is a server, accepts instructions from the client terminal 13, the network IF 24 that accepts instructions from the client terminal 13 is an example of an input unit, and the CPU 21 is an example of a processing unit. Also, when the client terminal 13 executes the creation program 27 to accept input of information in the processing proposal table DT1, as in a standalone device, the user interfaces, such as a keyboard and mouse, provided on the client terminal 13 (personal computer) are an example of an input unit. Also, the CPU that executes the creation program 27 and the CAM program 17 on the client terminal 13 is an example of a processing unit.
[0016] (Regarding Creation of Processing Proposal Table DT1) Next, the creation of the processing proposal table DT1 executed by the creation device 11 will be described. For example, when the creation device 11 is powered on, the creation device 11 executes the OS 26 on the CPU 21 to start the system, and then executes the creation program 27 on the CPU 21. When a user at the production factory 12 wants to create a processing proposal table DT1, the user operates the client terminal 13 to access the creation device 11. By executing the creation program 27, the creation device 11 supports the creation of a new processing proposal table DT1 (hereinafter, sometimes referred to as a new processing proposal table) on a web server, for example, by utilizing the services and functions of the OS 26. The user, for example, accesses the web page of the creation device 11 using browser software (web browser) on the client terminal 13 to create a new processing proposal table. In the following description, the device that executes the program may be referred to simply by the program name. For example, the statement "the creation program 27 accepts information from the client terminal 13" means that "the creation device 11 executes the creation program 27 on the CPU 21, and accepts information from the client terminal 13 via the creation program 27."
[0017] FIG. 2 is an example of a web page of the creation device 11 accessed by the client terminal 13, showing a search screen 31 with a search target image 37 entered. As shown in FIG. 2, the creation program 27 causes the client terminal 13 to display a search screen 31 for searching for a processing proposal table DT1 in response to access from the client terminal 13. The search screen 31 is a screen for searching for a processing proposal table DT1 that meets the search criteria from among the processing proposal tables DT1 stored in the management data 28. The creation device 11 accepts changes to the setting data of a processing proposal table DT1 previously registered in the management data 28 based on operation of an edit button 47A (see FIG. 3 ) described below, creates the changed processing proposal table DT1 as a new processing proposal table, registers it, and outputs it. Alternatively, the creation device 11 accepts a request to create a new processing proposal table by reusing a processing proposal table DT1 previously registered in the management data 28 based on operation of a reuse new button 47B (see FIG. 3 ) described below, and registers and outputs the new processing proposal table.
[0018] The creation program 27 starts creating a new processing proposal table, and when the final save button 88 (see FIG. 9) described later is operated to store the new processing proposal table, the creation program 27 assigns a new management number 74 (see FIG. 7) to the new processing proposal table to be stored, and stores the assigned management number 74, information on the storage destination of the new processing proposal table, etc. in the management information data DT2. This allows the creation program 27 to manage the processing proposal table DT1 stored in the storage device 22 by the management number 74 based on the management information data DT2. In other words, the multiple processing proposal tables DT1 stored in the storage device 22 are each assigned the management number 74 stored in the management information data DT2.
[0019] The creation program 27 displays work information 30, an image input section 32, an image display section 33, a search condition input section 34, a search button 35, a condition clear button 36, and a search result display section 39 on a search screen 31. The work information 30 displayed at the top of the search screen 31 indicates which process in the work process for which the displayed screen (search screen 31 in FIG. 2 ) is creating the processing proposal table DT1. For example, as shown in the work information 30, the work of creating a new processing proposal table is performed in the following order: "Management Data," "Basic Information," "Tooling List," "Cycle Time," "Transport," "Layout," and "Content Confirmation." In the state shown in FIG. 2 , the creation program 27 bolds and underlines "Management Data," indicating that the "Data Management" screen is displayed. This also applies to FIG. 4 and subsequent figures.
[0020] The image input unit 32 is a section where a search target image 37, which is an image to be searched, is input. A workpiece image 41 (see FIG. 3 ) showing the shape of the workpiece after machining is stored in association with the processing proposal table DT1. When the search target image 37 is input into the image input unit 32, for example, by drag and drop, the creation program 27 displays the input search target image 37 on the image display unit 33. In the example shown in FIG. 2 , a search target image 37 of a differential case is displayed as the search target image 37. In response to an operation of selecting the search button 35 (hereinafter, sometimes simply referred to as an operation), the creation program 27 searches the management data 28 for a processing proposal table DT1 associated with a workpiece image 41 similar to the input search target image 37, and displays the search result display unit 39 (see FIG. 3 ). The selection operation here refers to an operation such as clicking or pressing the return key on the client terminal 13. For example, the creation program 27 includes an AI (artificial intelligence) program that searches for similar images. The creation program 27 uses a machine learning function of the AI program to determine workpiece images 41 that are similar to the search target image 37. Note that the method of searching for similar images is not limited to AI. Furthermore, the search target image 37 and the workpiece image 41 are not limited to two-dimensional images, and may be three-dimensional images.
[0021] The creation program 27 can also search the processing proposal table DT1 based on information entered in the search condition input unit 34 of FIG. 2 . The creation program 27 displays, for example, input fields for the workpiece name, part number, material, processing overview, machine ID, customer name, and keyword in the search condition input unit 34. These workpiece name, part number, material, processing overview, machine ID, and customer name are associated with each of the processing proposal tables DT1, as described below. Detailed descriptions of each item will be omitted, but for example, the workpiece name is the name of the workpiece to be manufactured in the processing proposal table DT1, and the part number is the workpiece's identification number. The material is the name of the workpiece's material, and the processing overview is information such as terms and descriptions indicating the processing overview (e.g., sample number, product use, etc.). The machine ID is identification information for the machine tool used in the processing proposal table DT1. The customer name is the name of the customer who requested the production of the workpiece, and the keyword is a search word for searching for terms in the processing proposal table DT1.
[0022] 3 shows the search result display unit 39 in a state where the search results are displayed, and for example, shows the search results obtained by inputting only the search target image 37 and operating the search button 35. As shown in FIG. 3, the creation program 27 displays, for each of the multiple processing proposal tables DT1 searched from the management data 28, information such as check boxes, similarity (image similarity), workpiece name, material, shape, processing overview, machine ID, and customer name, arranged in a single line. For example, when the creation program 27 lists the search results of the processing proposal tables DT1 in the search result display unit 39, the creation program 27 arranges the processing proposal tables DT1 vertically in order of highest image similarity (descending order of similarity).
[0023] The creation program 27 also displays a workpiece image 41 associated with the processing proposal table DT1 in the "shape" column. The creation program 27 also displays an arrow icon 43 below the search results for the processing proposal table DT1 to display any remaining processing proposal table DT1. When a check box is operated, the creation program 27 displays an image 45 indicating that the check box is selected in the operated check box. The creation program 27 also displays an Edit button 47A, a Reuse New button 47B, and a New button 47C below the search results for the processing proposal table DT1. When the Edit button 47A is operated with a check box selected, the creation program 27 displays information about the selected processing proposal table DT1 and accepts changes to the selected processing proposal table DT1. When the Reuse New button 47B is operated, the creation program 27 displays information about the selected processing proposal table DT1 and accepts the creation of a new processing proposal table that reuses the displayed processing proposal table DT1 (see FIGS. 4 to 7). Therefore, when the reuse new button 47B is selected, a new processing proposal table is created by reusing the setting data of the previous processing proposal table DT1. The new button 47C is a button for creating a processing proposal table DT1 from a state where no setting data has been set.
[0024] Furthermore, when the search button 35 is operated with search conditions entered in each field of the search condition input section 34 of FIG. 2 , the creation program 27 executes a search based on the entered search conditions. In this case, a search target image 37 may or may not be used. For example, when a workpiece name is entered, the creation program 27 searches the management data 28 for a processing proposal table DT1 with the entered workpiece name and displays it in the search result display section 39. Furthermore, when the condition clear button 36 is operated, the creation program 27 deletes all conditions entered in the image display section 33 and the search condition input section 34. The creation program 27 may display an icon 38 for displaying a drop-down menu in an input field of any search condition input section 34, and display input information selectable by operating the icon 38. Furthermore, the creation program 27 may execute an AND search to search only for processing proposal tables DT1 that satisfy all of the search conditions entered in the search condition input section 34, or may execute an OR search to search for processing proposal tables DT1 that satisfy at least one of the conditions.
[0025] Next, the tables and setting data included in the processing proposal table DT1 will be described. FIGS. 4 to 7 show an example of a screen for creating a new processing proposal table. The following description will discuss, as an example, the case where the Reuse New button 47B is operated to create a new processing proposal table by reusing the setting data of a previous processing proposal table DT1. Note that, even when the Edit button 47A is operated, the creation program 27 displays the same screen (FIGS. 4 to 7) as when the Reuse New button 47B is operated and accepts editing operations. When the Edit button 47A is operated, the creation program 27 executes an update process for the previous processing proposal table DT1. When the Reuse New button 47B is operated, the creation program 27 displays the previous processing proposal table DT1 but saves the edited processing proposal table DT1 as a separate processing proposal table DT1. Therefore, the following description will focus on the case where the Reuse New button 47B is operated, and will omit a description of the case where the Edit button 47A is operated. However, even when the Edit button 47A is operated, the display of the management number 74 and the quoted setting data, as described below, can be similarly executed.
[0026] As shown in FIGS. 4 to 7 , the creation program 27 displays a creation start screen 50 (basic information table 51), a tooling list 52 ( FIGS. 5 and 6 ), a cycle time table (not shown), a transport table (not shown), and a layout table (not shown) based on the machining proposal table DT1. In other words, the machining proposal table DT1 stores setting data for these five tables. Note that the types of tables, types of setting data, setting data constituting each table, and the positions at which the setting data is displayed shown in FIGS. 4 to 7 are merely examples and may be changed as appropriate depending on the type of workpiece, the configuration of the machine tool, the user's requests, and other factors. For this reason, the following description will provide an overview of the purpose of use of each table, and will omit detailed descriptions of each table. Furthermore, of the five tables, the following description will use drawings to explain the basic information table 51 and the tooling list 52, and will omit illustrations of the other tables.
[0027] The creation program 27 displays, for example, the information of the processing proposal table DT1 selected in the search result display section 39 as the setting data of each table in Figures 4 to 6, and accepts changes to the displayed setting data. That is, the creation program 27 displays the setting data of the processing proposal table DT1 selected by the user as the initial value, accepts editing of the displayed setting data, and creates a new processing proposal table.
[0028] (Regarding the basic information table 51) First, the basic information table 51 will be described. In the following description, descriptions of the display contents and setting data that are the same as those described above will be omitted. When the reuse new button 47B is operated, the creation program 27 displays the creation start screen 50 shown in FIG. 4. As shown in FIG. 4, the creation program 27 displays, for example, the work information 30, the summary information 62, and the basic information table 51 on the creation start screen 50.
[0029] The summary information 62 is information that shows an overview of the machining proposal table DT1, such as the workpiece image 41 and workpiece name in the machining proposal table DT1. The creation program 27 accepts changes to the workpiece image 41 associated with the machining proposal table DT1 and changes to the workpiece name in the summary information 62. The creation program 27 also displays a "basic information number" for each process in the basic information table 51. The "basic information number" is, for example, an identification number for identifying each process for machining a workpiece, and is assigned a positive integer starting from "1" in the order in which the processes are performed. The basic information table 51 also includes setting data for each process, such as the number of machines, process, machine type, revision, chuck, and machine ID. For example, when one process is performed using one machine tool, the number of machines is "1," and one number is assigned as the process number (see processes "10" and "30"). Furthermore, when the same process is performed by multiple machines of the same model, or when the same process is performed by multiple spindles within a single model, the process number remains the same, but the number of machining units increases (see process "40"). When the same process is performed by different machine models, different numbers are assigned to the processes, and the number of machining units increases (see processes "20A" and "20B"). A process is, for example, a unit of machining performed by a single machine model. Therefore, when multiple machining operations (such as outer diameter machining and end face machining) are performed using different types of tools on the same machine model, these multiple machining operations are collectively defined as a single process. The above definitions of basic information number, number of machining units, and process are merely examples.
[0030] The creation program 27 accepts the number of machine tools that will perform each process in the "Number of Machines" column. For example, "Model" is the model number of the machine tool, "Revision" is the version of each model, and "Chuck" is identification information for the chuck to be used. The creation program 27 accepts changes to each setting data in the basic information table 51 and accepts the creation of a changed machining proposal table DT1, i.e., a new machining proposal table. Changes to the setting data can be accepted by directly entering a setting value into each field, or by displaying a pull-down menu and accepting a selection in response to an operation on an icon 65 displayed in each field.
[0031] The creation program 27 also displays operation icons 67 above the basic information table 51 and check boxes 69 to the left of the basic information table 51. The operation icons 67 include multiple icons for executing various processes on processes selected in the check boxes 69. Specifically, the operation icons 67 include an icon for moving the selected process to the process above, an icon for moving the selected process below, an icon for adding a new process below the selected process, an icon for deleting the selected process, and an icon for copying the selected process. The operation icons 67 also include icons for accepting instructions for temporarily saving and outputting the processing proposal table DT1. For example, when an upward arrow icon in the operation icon 67 is operated while a check box 69 is checked, the creation program 27 swaps the process in the checked row with the process above. The creation program 27 accepts changes to setting data, additions, deletions, etc. of processes for the basic information table 51, and when the temporary save icon in the operation icon 67 is operated, the accepted changes are temporarily stored in the storage device 22. For example, if communication with the client terminal 13 is interrupted while editing the basic information table 51, the creation program 27 resumes editing from the temporarily saved changes when the same terminal accesses the program again. This allows the user to resume editing from the partly edited content even if the user accidentally closes the web browser.
[0032] Furthermore, when the final save button 88 on the content confirmation screen 85 in FIG. 9 (described later) is operated, the creation program 27 stores the processing proposal table DT1, reflecting the accepted changes, as a new processing proposal table in the storage device 22. The creation program 27 assigns a management number 74 (see FIG. 7) to the new processing proposal table and stores it. Therefore, each time a new processing proposal table is created, the creation program 27 assigns a new management number 74 and updates the management information data DT2. This allows the processing proposal table DT1 to be managed by the management number 74. Note that the creation program 27 may also perform final saving (save in the same way as when the final save button 88 is operated) when the temporary save icon of the operation icon 67 is operated. Furthermore, when the output icon of the operation icon 67 is operated, the creation program 27 outputs the changed processing proposal table DT1 in a predetermined format.
[0033] The creation program 27 also displays a switching operation section 71 above the basic information table 51. When the switching operation section 71 is operated, the creation program 27 displays management information 73 of the quoting source processing proposal table DT1, etc. The display when the switching operation section 71 is operated will be described later with reference to the tooling list 52 (see FIG. 7).
[0034] (Regarding the Tooling List 52) Next, the tooling list 52 will be described. FIGS. 5 and 6 show an editing screen for the tooling list 52. FIG. 5 shows the left side of the editing screen for the tooling list 52, and FIG. 6 shows the right side. The method for switching the screen from the basic information table 51 to the tooling list 52 is not particularly limited. For example, the creation program 27 switches the table displayed on the screen in response to an operation on the work information 30. After displaying the creation start screen 50 of FIG. 4, the creation program 27 switches the table (screen) displayed in response to an operation on each item of the work information 30. For example, when the "Basic Information" item of the work information 30 is clicked, the creation program 27 displays the editing screen for the basic information table 51 shown in FIG. 4, and when the "Tooling List" item is clicked, the creation program 27 displays the editing screen for the tooling list 52 shown in FIGS. 5 and 6. Furthermore, when the "Management Data" item of the work information 30 is clicked, the creation program 27 may display the search screen 31.
[0035] The tooling list 52 is a table in which, for each machining process, setting data such as the type of tool to be used, machining purpose, machining content, machining conditions, and time information, in addition to the model, process, and basic information number, are set. For example, when setting data in the tooling list 52 is changed, the creation program 27 changes the related setting data in other tables, including the basic information table 51, in conjunction with the setting data. Similarly, when setting data in the basic information table 51, cycle time table (not shown), transport table (not shown), or layout table (not shown) is changed, the creation program 27 changes the setting data in the other tables in conjunction with the setting data. The same applies to adding or deleting processes. The creation program 27 also displays operation icons 67 in the tooling list 52 to accept the selection of an arbitrary process and accept the addition of a process, etc. Note that, in FIGS. 5 and 6 , check boxes 69 are not shown to avoid cluttering the drawings. However, the method of selecting a process to be operated using the operation icon 67 is not limited to using the check boxes 69. For example, a method of selecting a desired process by clicking on a portion displaying the desired process may also be used.
[0036] The "Tool No." column in FIG. 5 is, for example, a turret-type lathe. This column indicates the holder number of a tool holder mounted on the turret to which a cutting tool (such as a cutting tool or a rotary tool) is attached. The tooling list 52 can set information on the target surface roughness, target tolerance, and roundness for each process as setting data for the machining objective. In addition to the example shown in FIG. 5 , other information capable of expressing the purpose of a process, such as fit tolerance and geometric tolerance, can also be used as setting data for the machining objective. The tooling list 52 can also set an image of the tool shape for each process, text information indicating the machining details (such as outer diameter, end face, and inner diameter), and a diagram showing the machining details as setting data for the machining details. To avoid cluttering the drawing, FIG. 5 shows only one image of the tool shape.
[0037] As shown in FIG. 6 , the tooling list 52 allows the user to set the following machining condition setting data: selection, reason, cutting diameter 1, cutting diameter 2, rotation speed, cutting speed, cutting depth, path, cutting length, and feed. "Selection" is setting data indicating which value was selected for that process: a theoretically calculated value, such as a value recommended by the tool manufacturer, or an actual value adjusted through actual machining. "Reason" is setting data indicating the reason for selecting which of the values in the "Selection" column. "Cutting diameter 1" and other values are the machining conditions (setting values) for each process. This allows the user to refer to the past machining proposal table DT1 and confirm whether the calculated value is an ideal machining condition or an actual value based on past machining conditions, and also determine the reason for this. In the case of "end face," machining is performed in a direction perpendicular to the spindle, so two pieces of information (cutting diameter 1 and cutting diameter 2) representing the outer and inner radial positions are set as "cutting diameter" information.
[0038] Furthermore, the tooling list 52 allows the setting of information on cutting time, positioning time, and blade indexing time as time information setting data. "Cutting time" is the total time spent machining a workpiece with a cutting tool in that process. "Positioning time" is the time required to determine the position of the cutting tool. "Blade indexing time" is the time required to index the cutting tool.
[0039] The creation program 27 accepts changes to each setting data in the tooling list 52 and creates a new machining proposal table. Furthermore, when any setting data among the multiple related setting data in the tooling list 52 is changed, the creation program 27 changes the other related setting data accordingly. For example, when the "cutting tool number" is changed, the creation program 27 changes the image of the "cutting tool shape" to an image that matches the changed "cutting tool number." Furthermore, for example, "cutting depth" and "passes" are correlated (cutting depth = cutting depth per pass * passes). Therefore, when one of the values of "cutting depth" and "passes" is changed, the creation program 27 calculates and changes the other value. Alternatively, "feed" and "cutting time" are inversely proportional to each other. For example, decreasing the "feed," which is the distance the cutting tool advances per rotation of the workpiece, relatively increases the "cutting time." When one of the values of "feed" and "cutting time" is changed, the creation program 27 calculates and changes the other value. The creation program 27 does not have to automatically change the related setting data as described above.
[0040] Here, after starting to create the basic information table 51 or the tooling list 52, the user may want to check the management information later to see which machining proposal table DT1 was cited. Furthermore, after starting to create the basic information table 51 or the tooling list 52 and changing the setting data of the citation source, the user may want to check the setting data before the change. Furthermore, as described above, when changing any setting data automatically changes related setting data, the user may want to check which setting data has been changed. In particular, when changes are made to not only the table currently displayed on the screen but also other tables in conjunction with the changes, the user may want to check which setting data has been changed when the other tables are displayed.
[0041] Therefore, in the present embodiment, the creation program 27 displays management information 73 of the source processing proposal table DT1 used to create the new processing proposal table during the process of creating the new processing proposal table. When the switching operation unit 71 is operated, the creation program 27 displays the management information 73, including the management number 74, creator name 75, and creation date and time 76, as shown in FIG. 7 . This management information 73 is stored in the management information data DT2 in association with the processing proposal table DT1. The creation program 27 reads and displays the management information 73 corresponding to the processing proposal table DT1 selected in the search result display unit 39 of FIG. 3 from the management information data DT2. The management number 74 is information that can individually identify the processing proposal table DT1, such as a combination of letters and numbers. The management number 74 may consist of only numbers, only letters, or a combination of symbols other than numbers and letters. In FIG. 7 , the characters "FJ001XXXX" are displayed as the management number 74. This management number 74 is the management number 74 of the processing proposal table DT1 selected in the search result display section 39, i.e., the processing proposal table DT1 used as the initial value of the new processing proposal table. This allows the user to see the management number 74 of the citation source as reference information.
[0042] The creator name 75 is the name of the creator who created the cited processing proposal table DT1. When a new processing proposal table is saved, for example, by operating the final save button 88 (see FIG. 9), the creation program 27 sets the login user name used to log in to the creation system 10 as the creator name of the new processing proposal table and stores it in the management information data DT2. Alternatively, the creation program 27 may accept the creator name when saving the new processing proposal table. The creator information is not limited to a name, and may also be a user ID, etc. This makes it clear who created the cited processing proposal table DT1, allowing for quick inquiries if there is any unknown setting data.
[0043] The creation date and time 76 is the date and time when the cited processing proposal table DT1 was created. For example, when a new processing proposal table is saved by operating the last save button 88, the creation program 27 sets the date and time as the creation date and time 76 of the new processing proposal table and stores it in the management information data DT2. This allows the creation date and time 76 to be displayed as to when the cited processing proposal table DT1 was created. The above-mentioned management information 73 may be stored in each of the multiple processing proposal tables DT1, rather than being managed together in management information data DT2 separate from the processing proposal table DT1. In this case, the management information data DT2 can be eliminated. Furthermore, the management information 73 disclosed herein may be at least one of the above-mentioned management number 74, creator name 75, and creation date and time 76. Alternatively, the management information 73 is not limited to the above three pieces of information, and may include other information such as update date and time, product number, workpiece name, file name, customer name, etc.
[0044] Furthermore, when the switching operation unit 71 is operated, the creation program 27 displays the setting data of the quoting machining proposal table DT1 as quoted setting data, as shown in FIG. 7 . Note that FIG. 7 shows, as an example, a screen displayed when the switching operation unit 71 is operated after the initial values shown in FIG. 6 are displayed and then the "cutting time" for process "10" or the like is changed. In the following explanation, the setting data of the new machining proposal table will be referred to as setting data 81, and the setting data of the quoting machining proposal table DT1 will be referred to as quoted setting data 82. The setting data 81 and the quoted setting data 82 are each data included in the machining proposal table DT1, such as the number of machines and model in the basic information table 51, and the target surface roughness, cutting diameter, and feed in the tooling list 52. Furthermore, the state in which the management information 73 and quoted setting data 82 shown in FIG. 7 are displayed will be referred to as a "display state," and the state in which the management information 73 and quoted setting data 82 shown in FIGS. 4 to 6 are not displayed will be referred to as a "non-display state."
[0045] 7, the creation program 27 displays the setting data 81 and the cited setting data 82 side by side in the column of each item that displays the setting data 81. The creation program 27 displays the cited setting data 82 above the setting data 81. The creation program 27 may display the setting data 81 side by side above the cited setting data 82, or may display the setting data 81 and the cited setting data 82 side by side in the left-right direction. Alternatively, the creation program 27 may display the cited setting data 82 in a pop-up when the mouse pointer is placed on the setting data 81.
[0046] Therefore, the creation program 27 displays the multiple setting data (cited setting data 82) contained in the quoting processing proposal table DT1 as the initial values of the corresponding setting data 81 in the new processing proposal table. Thereafter, when any setting data 81 is changed and the switching operation unit 71 is operated, the creation program 27 displays the cited setting data 82 next to the changed setting data 81. This allows the user to check the cited setting data 82 before the change side by side with the changed setting data 81, and reconfirm the amount of change, etc.
[0047] Furthermore, the creation program 27 displays the cited setting data 82 for changed setting data 81, but does not display the cited setting data 82 for unchanged setting data 81, i.e., setting data 81 with the same value as the cited setting data 82. For example, as shown in "Cutting diameter 1" in the top step "10" of Figure 7, for unchanged setting data 81, only the setting data 81 is displayed. This prevents the display on the entire screen from becoming cluttered. Note that the creation program 27 may also display the cited setting data 82 even if the setting data 81 has not been changed. In other words, the creation program 27 may display the cited setting data 82 for all setting data 81.
[0048] The creation program 27 may also display a message, for example, when the switching operation unit 71 is operated to change the display state from hidden to displayed when no changes have been made to all of the setting data 81 in the currently displayed table. For example, if the reuse new button 47B in FIG. 3 is operated to display the setting data (cited setting data 82) of the quoted processing proposal table DT1 as the initial value of the setting data 81 of the new processing proposal table, and then the switching operation unit 71 is operated, the creation program 27 displays a message 84 shown in FIG. 8 . The creation program 27 displays the message 84, such as "There are no differences from the cited data." This allows the user to be notified that no changes have been made to the setting data 81, for example, when the switching operation unit 71 is operated by mistake. The creation program 27, for example, displays the message 84 for a certain period of time and then terminates the display of the message 84.
[0049] Furthermore, even if the setting data 81 of an arbitrary table is changed, if all the setting data 81 of the currently displayed tables is identical to the cited setting data 82, the creation program 27 may display a message 84 when the switching operation unit 71 is operated. For example, in the initial stage, the user can understand whether changes have been made to the setting data 81. However, as the user repeatedly changes the setting data 81 while switching between displayed tables, or as the user proceeds with the work while temporarily saving the data, it becomes unclear whether all the setting data 81 of the currently displayed table is at its initial value. In response to this, by displaying the above-mentioned message 84 in response to the operation of the switching operation unit 71, the user can confirm whether there are any differences between all the setting data 81 of the currently displayed table and the cited setting data 82.
[0050] 8, the creation program 27 has transitioned to a display state, and therefore displays the management information 73. Furthermore, after hiding the message 84, if any setting data 81 is changed, the creation program 27 displays the cited setting data 82 and a revert button 83, which will be described later. For example, once input of setting data 81 for any item is complete, the creation program 27 displays the cited setting data 82 and the revert button 83 in addition to the changed setting data 81. Furthermore, if the setting data 81 that was once changed is returned to the same value as the cited setting data 82, the creation program 27 removes the display of the cited setting data 82 and the revert button 83.
[0051] As shown in FIG. 7 , the creation program 27 displays a back button 83 for each item displaying citation setting data 82. For example, the creation program 27 displays a back button 83 showing a curved arrow to the right of each piece of citation setting data 82. When any back button 83 is operated, the creation program 27 returns the setting data 81 of the item for which the operated back button 83 is displayed to the citation setting data 82. The creation program 27 returns the setting data 81 and terminates the display of the citation setting data 82 and the back button 83. In other words, the item for which the back button 83 was operated returns to the display state before the change shown in FIG. 6 .
[0052] Therefore, when multiple setting data 81 are changed, the creation program 27 individually accepts an instruction to revert each of the changed setting data 81 to the setting data before the change (cited setting data 82) using the revert button 83. The creation program 27 reverts the setting data 81 for which the revert button 83 was operated to the setting data before the change (cited setting data 82) and hides the cited setting data 82 that was displayed alongside the reverted setting data 81. This allows the user to change multiple setting data 81 and then individually revert each changed setting data 81 to the cited setting data 82, i.e., to its initial value. Reverting can be easily achieved by simply operating the revert button 83. Furthermore, each setting data 81 can be changed and adjusted by reverting it to its original value. In addition to or instead of the individual revert button 83, the creation program 27 may display an all-revert button that reverts all changed setting data 81 to the cited setting data 82. In response to the operation of this all-revert button, the creation program 27 may revert the setting data 81 to the cited setting data 82 on a table-by-table basis or for all tables.
[0053] Furthermore, as described above, when any one of the plurality of setting data 81 is changed, the creation program 27 changes other setting data 81 related to the changed setting data 81 (hereinafter referred to as related setting data) in accordance with the changed setting data 81. For example, assume that the "feed" setting data 81 is changed from 0.3 [mm / rev] to 0.2 [mm / rev] in the fourth step "30" from the top in FIG. 7. The creation program 27 displays the pre-change 0.3 [mm / rev] as quoted setting data 82 and the post-change 0.2 [mm / rev] as setting data 81. The creation program 27 also displays a back button 83 in the "feed" item.
[0054] Furthermore, since the "feed" value has been changed, the creation program 27 updates the setting data 81 for "cutting time," which is related setting data. The creation program 27 calculates the "cutting time" based on the changed "feed" value (0.2 [mm / rev]) and displays the calculated value (25.2 [sec]) as the "cutting time" setting data 81. The creation program 27 also displays the "cutting time" before the change (15.9 [sec]) as the cited setting data 82 in the "cutting time" field. The "cutting time" increases in inverse proportion to a decrease in the "feed" value. Therefore, the creation program 27 displays the cited setting data 82 for the "cutting time" of the related setting data in addition to the "feed" of the changed setting data 81. This allows the related setting data to be automatically updated when any setting data 81 is changed. The consistency of the setting data 81 can be maintained. Furthermore, by displaying the cited setting data 82 for the related setting data in addition to the changed setting data 81, the setting data 81 before and after the change can be compared.
[0055] In the above example, a case was described in which a numerical value was changed as setting data 81 and the numerical value of other related setting data was changed. However, it is also possible to change related setting data and display cited setting data 82 for non-numeric setting data 81. For example, when the "cutting tool number" shown in FIG. 5 is changed, the creation program 27 also changes the image of the "cutting tool shape" in conjunction with the change. In the display state, when the "cutting tool number" is changed, the creation program 27 displays the data before the change (e.g., T1) and the data after the change (e.g., T2) side by side. Furthermore, for the "cutting tool shape" image, the creation program 27 displays an image of the changed cutting tool number "T2" as setting data 81, and displays an image of the previous cutting tool number "T1" on top of it as cited setting data 82. This allows cited setting data 82 to be displayed for non-numeric setting data 81, and for related setting data, cited setting data 82 to be displayed.
[0056] Furthermore, when the back button 83 for any of the setting data 81 and the related setting data associated with that setting data 81 is operated to return the setting data to the cited setting data 82, the creation program 27 automatically returns the related setting data to the cited setting data 82 as well. For example, when the back button 83 for "feed" is operated, the creation program 27 not only returns the setting data 81 for "feed" to the cited setting data 82, but also returns the setting data 81 for "cutting time" to the cited setting data 82. This allows the consistency of the setting data 81 to be maintained. Note that the creation program 27 does not have to perform the calculation or automatic change of the related setting data described above. Alternatively, the creation program 27 may perform automatic updating of the related setting data only when instructed by the user.
[0057] Furthermore, after displaying the screen in the display state shown in FIG. 7 , the creation program 27 hides the management information 73, quoted setting data 82, and back button 83 when the switching operation unit 71 is operated again. The creation program 27 enters a hidden state in which one setting data 81 is displayed for one item as shown in FIG. 6 , and if the setting data 81 has been changed, only the changed setting data 81 is displayed. Therefore, the creation program 27 displays the switching operation unit 71 that accepts an operation to switch whether or not to display the management information 73 and quoted setting data 82. The creation program 27 switches between a display state in which the management information 73, etc. is displayed and a hidden state in which the management information 73, etc. is not displayed, depending on the operation on the switching operation unit 71. This allows the user to operate the switching operation unit 71 to check the management information 73, etc. only when they want to check it, and to hide it when it is not necessary.
[0058] Furthermore, the machining proposal table DT1 of this embodiment includes multiple tables, namely, a basic information table 51, a tooling list 52, a cycle time table, a transport table, and a layout table. The creation program 27 accepts selection of a table to be displayed from the multiple tables by clicking an item in the work information 30, displays the selected table, and accepts changes to the setting data 81. As shown in FIGS. 4 and 6 , the creation program 27 displays a switching operation unit 71 on the screen displaying each table, and switches between a hidden state and a visible state in response to an operation on the switching operation unit 71. Therefore, the creation program 27 displays the switching operation unit 71 not only for the tooling list 52, but also for the basic information table 51, the cycle time table, the transport table, and the layout table, and accepts switching between a visible state and a hidden state.
[0059] As described above, for example, immediately after changing any setting data 81, the user can identify which setting data 81 has been changed. However, if the user operates the work information 30 to switch between displayed tables and repeatedly changes the setting data 81 for multiple processes in each table while creating a new processing proposal table, it becomes difficult to identify which setting data 81 has been changed. In response to this, the creation program 27 accepts switching between multiple tables via the switching operation unit 71. This allows the user to easily check which setting data 81 has been changed, thereby reducing the occurrence of setting errors.
[0060] Furthermore, for multiple tables, including the basic information table 51, tooling list 52, cycle time table, transport table, and layout table, if the setting data 81 of any table is changed, the creation program 27 changes not only that table but also the related setting data of the other tables. That is, if the setting data 81 of any table is changed, the creation program 27 changes other setting data 81 related to the changed setting data 81 in the other tables in accordance with the changed setting data 81. For example, if the "model" of any process in the tooling list 52 is changed, the creation program 27 changes the "model" of the same process in the basic information table 51. Then, when the switching operation unit 71 is operated to transition to the display state, the creation program 27 displays the cited setting data 82 for each table. This allows the user to understand the changed setting data 81 by looking at the cited setting data 82 when switching the table being displayed. In other words, the user can easily understand which setting data 81 in other tables is affected by the changes they made in any table.
[0061] Furthermore, the creation program 27 does not accept edits to the cited setting data 82 while it is displayed. The cited setting data 82 is data from the citing processing proposal table DT1, and is merely reference data. The citing processing proposal table DT1 is likely to be a processing proposal table DT1 for a workpiece that has already been delivered, and it is not desirable to change it. For this reason, for example, even if an item displaying the setting data 81 and the cited setting data 82 is selected by double-clicking or the like, the creation program 27 only accepts changes to the setting data 81. This makes it possible to prevent changes to past processing proposal tables DT1.
[0062] As described above, the creation program 27 accepts information about a new workpiece to be processed (the search target image 37 and input information in the search condition input section 34) on the search screen 31 shown in FIG. 2. The creation program 27 acquires multiple processing proposal tables DT1 associated with the received information about the new workpiece from the management data 28 and displays them in the search result display section 39 shown in FIG. 3. The creation program 27 accepts selection of a processing proposal table DT1 to be used to create a new processing proposal table from the multiple displayed processing proposal tables DT1, sets the setting data (reference setting data 82) of the selected processing proposal table DT1 as the initial value of the setting data 81 of the new processing proposal table, and transitions to a hidden state in which the management information 73 and the reference setting data 82 are not displayed. By setting the hidden state at the start of creation of the new processing proposal table, changes to the setting data 81 can be accepted without displaying the management information 73, etc. If the user needs to check the management information 73 or the reference setting data 82, they can be displayed and checked later. The creation program 27 may transition to a display state in which the management information 73, etc. is displayed from the time when creation of a new processing proposal table is started. In this case, since the setting data 81 has not been changed at the time when creation is started, the quoted setting data 82 is not displayed, but the management information 73 is displayed.
[0063] Furthermore, the creation program 27 may display the setting data 81 displaying the quoted setting data 82, i.e., the changed setting data 81, in a more emphasized manner than the other setting data 81. For example, the color of the text and item frames of the changed setting data 81 may be made more noticeable than the color of the text and item frames of the unchanged setting data 81. Furthermore, the highlighting method is not limited to the above-described method of changing the color, and other methods such as making the text larger or adding an underline can also be used. This makes it easier to identify the changed setting data 81. The creation program 27 may display the changed setting data 81 in a more emphasized manner than the other setting data 81 not only in the display state but also in the non-display state.
[0064] (Regarding Other Tables) The creation program 27 performs the same processing as the above-described processing for the tooling list 52 on other tables. While detailed descriptions of the other tables will be omitted, the cycle time table is a table that sets, for example, the process number, the model of each process, the number of processing units, the cycle time for each process, the time included in the cycle time, and bottleneck processes. The time included in the cycle time here can be, for example, the cutting time, positioning time, and tool indexing time mentioned above, as well as the time required to chuck and release the workpiece. For example, the creation program 27 compares the cycle times of each process in the cycle time table and displays the process with the longest cycle time as the bottleneck process. The creation program 27 accepts changes to the setting data (model, number of processing units, etc.) of such cycle time table and switches between display and non-display states in response to operation of a switching operation unit (not shown).
[0065] The transport table is a table that displays and changes, for example, the cycle times of peripheral devices connected to the machine tool and the loader that transports workpieces between the machine tool and the peripheral devices. The creation program 27 also accepts changes to the setting data (such as loader setting values) for such transport tables and accepts display switching via a switching operation unit (not shown). The layout table is a table that shows, for example, the positional relationships between machine tools and peripheral devices lined up along a production line and their positional information. The positional information here is information in which, for example, the position of the machine tool is set to "zero," and values of "-1, -2, -3, ..." are assigned as the distance from the machine tool increases upstream, and values of "+1, +2, +3, ..." are assigned as the distance from the machine tool decreases downstream. The creation program 27 also accepts changes to the setting data (such as positional information) for such layout tables and accepts display switching via a switching operation unit (not shown).
[0066] (Regarding the Content Confirmation Screen 85) Next, the content confirmation screen 85 will be described. After changing or confirming the setting data 81 for all of the tables described above, the user clicks on the "Confirm Content" item in the work information 30. The creation program 27 displays the content confirmation screen 85 shown in FIG. 9 in response to the user's operation. The creation program 27 displays a content display section 87, a final save button 88, and a print button 89 on the content confirmation screen 85. The creation program 27 displays the content display section 87 based on the setting data 81 after it has been changed on the screens shown in FIGS. 4 to 7, etc. For example, the creation program 27 displays report-format data that combines the basic information table 51, tooling list 52, etc., in the content display section 87. This allows the user to check the contents of the basic information table 51, etc., all at once by checking the contents displayed in the content display section 87.
[0067] Furthermore, when the final save button 88 is operated, the creation program 27 assigns a new management number 74 to the created new processing proposal table, associates information such as the creation date and time, and stores these in the management data 28 and the management information data DT2. This makes it possible to display the management number 74, etc., when the created new processing proposal table is referenced the next time it is created. Furthermore, when the print button 89 is operated, the creation program 27 prints the data displayed in the content display section 87. When printing is complete, the creation program 27 ends the display of the content confirmation screen 85, etc., and displays the search screen 31.
[0068] The above description is directed to the case where the reuse new button 47B in Fig. 3 is operated. However, the creation program 27 may also display the switching operation section 71 and execute a process to display the setting data before the change (cited setting data 82) when the edit button 47A is operated to accept editing of an already created processing proposal table DT1.
[0069] The processing proposal table creation device 11 is an example of a computer in the present disclosure. The CPU 21 is an example of a processing unit. The network IF 24 is an example of an input unit in the present disclosure.
[0070] As described above, the present embodiment provides the following advantages. The creation program 27 (creation device 11), which is one aspect of the present embodiment, displays the management information 73 of the citing processing proposal table DT1 used to create the new processing proposal table during the process of creating the new processing proposal table, and displays the setting data of the citing processing proposal table DT1 as cited setting data 82 ( FIG. 7 , an example of the cited information display process of the present disclosure). This allows the management information 73 of the citing processing proposal table DT1 to be displayed and confirmed by the user during the creation of the new processing proposal table. Furthermore, by displaying the cited setting data 82, the setting data 81 of the citing processing proposal table DT1 can be confirmed while creating the new processing proposal table. After changing the setting data 81, the user can confirm the setting data before the change and change the setting data appropriately.
[0071] The present disclosure is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and various improvements and modifications are possible within the scope of the present disclosure. For example, in the above-described embodiments, a switching button (switching operation unit 71) is used as the switching operation unit of the present disclosure, but this is not limited thereto. The switching operation unit may be another operation unit capable of accepting a switching instruction, such as a toggle button. Furthermore, the creation program 27 may display two buttons, a display state button and a hide state button, as the switching operation unit, and transition to the display state when the display state button is operated, and transition to the hide state when the hide state button is operated. Therefore, the switching operation unit may be configured in various ways capable of accepting a state switching instruction.
[0072] Furthermore, in the above embodiment, the machining proposal table DT1 using multiple types of machine tools has been described, but the creation program 27 may also create a machining proposal table DT1 using a single type of machine tool. The information stored as the machining proposal table DT1 in the above embodiment is an example, and the type of table to be stored, the item names, number, and type of information may be changed as appropriate. The processing content of the creation program 27 described above is an example. For example, the creation program 27 may be configured to switch between a display state and a non-display state for at least one table among the basic information table 51, tooling list 52, cycle time table, transport table, and layout table.
[0073] The scope of the present disclosure is not limited to the dependent relationships set forth in the claims. For example, this specification also discloses a technical idea in which claim 4 changes "the processing proposal table creation device according to claim 2" to "the processing proposal table creation device according to claim 2 or claim 3."
