[0008] -Embodiment- Hereinafter, an embodiment of a rotating electrical machine will be described with reference to FIGS.
[0009] 1 is a perspective view of a rotating electric machine 1. The rotating electric machine 1 includes a rotor 2 (not shown), an annular stator core 3 arranged to surround at least a portion of the rotor 2, a stator winding 4 wound around the stator core 3, and a bus bar 5 to which the stator winding 4 is connected.
[0010] FIG. 2 is an enlarged view of the busbar 5. A temperature detector 6 is disposed on the busbar 5 to measure the temperature of the busbar 5. A schematic diagram of the vicinity of the temperature detector 6 is shown in the lower left of FIG. 2. A portion of the busbar 5 is U-shaped, and a portion of the straight portion of this U-shape is set as the temperature measurement area 5A. The temperature of the temperature measurement area 5A is measured by the temperature detector 6. The temperature detector 6 is fixed to the busbar 5 by a mounting member 100. In the schematic diagram, the mounting member 100 is indicated by a dashed line. The mounting member 100 is disposed so as to surround the temperature detector 6. Note that the temperature measurement area 5A does not need to be strictly defined, and the area where the temperature detector 6 comes into contact with the busbar 5 may be the temperature measurement area 5A. The temperature measurement area 5A is a rod-shaped area with a rectangular cross section.
[0011] Figure 3 is a perspective view of the temperature detector 6 and the mounting member 100. For ease of explanation, from Figure 3 onwards, mutually orthogonal X, Y and Z axes are also shown. The X, Y and Z axes are unrelated to the direction of gravity or the direction of the rotation axis of the rotor 2, and none of the axes need to be parallel to the vertical direction or the stator rotation axis. The lower left of Figure 3 shows only the mounting member 100 at a slightly different angle. The mounting member 100 is formed, for example, by cutting out a flat plate using press working or the like and then bending it.
[0012] The temperature detector 6 includes an element portion 61 and a wiring portion 62. The element portion 61 is a rectangular parallelepiped, and the wiring portion 62 has a cross section that is a continuous circle or rectangular parallelepiped. The temperature detector 6 is arranged along the X-axis in the range shown in FIG. 3. The element portion 61 is located on the positive side of the X-axis, i.e., at the tip of the temperature detector 6, and the wiring portion 62 is arranged on the negative side of the X-axis from the element portion 61. The temperature detector 6 continues on the negative side of the X-axis from the wiring portion 62.
[0013] The mounting member 100 includes a first elastic portion 101, a second elastic portion 102, a first base portion 111, a second base portion 112, a third base portion 113, a first side portion 121, a second side portion 122, a first leg portion 131, and a second leg portion 132. The first leg portion 131 is composed of a first straight portion 131S and a first folded portion 131R. The second leg portion 132 is composed of a second straight portion 132S and a second folded portion 132R.
[0014] The first elastic member 101 biases the element portion 61 of the temperature detector 6 toward the negative side of the Z axis. The second elastic member 102 biases the wiring portion 62 of the temperature detector 6 toward the negative side of the Z axis. The first base portion 111, the second base portion 112, and the third base portion 113 are surfaces parallel to the XY plane. The first base portion 111, the second base portion 112, and the third base portion 113 connect the first side portion 121 and the second side portion 122. The first base portion 111, the second base portion 112, and the third base portion 113 are aligned on the X axis. The order of alignment is from the positive side to the negative side of the X axis: the third base portion 113, the first base portion 111, and the second base portion 112.
[0015] The first base 111 holds the end of the first elastic member 101 on the negative X-axis side. The second base 112 holds the end of the second elastic member 102 on the negative X-axis side. The first elastic member 101 and the second elastic member 102 are formed by holding the end of a flat plate parallel to the XY plane on the negative X-axis side of the first base 111 and the second base 112 and bending the plate toward the negative Z-axis side. The first side member 121 and the second side member 122 are surfaces parallel to the XZ plane. The first side member 121 and the second side member 122 have symmetrical shapes with the XZ plane at the center of the mounting member 100 in the Y-axis direction as the plane of symmetry. The first side member 121 is connected to the first base member 111, the second base member 112, the third base member 113, and the first leg member 131. The second side portion 122 is connected to the first base portion 111 , the second base portion 112 , the third base portion 113 , and the second leg portion 132 .
[0016] The first leg 131 and the second leg 132 have a symmetrical shape with the XZ plane at the center of the Y-axis direction of the mounting member 100 as the plane of symmetry. The first leg 131 and the second leg 132 have a shape like the capital letter "E." The central long portion of the horizontal bar that makes up the "E" is longer than the other horizontal bars and is the first straight portion 131S and the second straight portion 132S, and the remaining portions are the first bent portion 131R and the second bent portion 132R.
[0017] Figure 4 is a plan view of the temperature detector 6 and the mounting member 100, i.e., a view from the positive side of the Z axis. Figure 4 shows the U-shaped bus bar 5, which was not visible in Figure 3. Also shown are the first base portion 111, the second base portion 112, the third base portion 113, the first elastic portion 101, and the second elastic portion 102, which are located at the center of the mounting member 100 in the Y axis direction. The first side portion 121 and the second side portion 122 are shown as elongated rectangular regions extending in the X axis direction from the perspective of Figure 4.
[0018] The element portion 61 of the temperature detector 6 is disposed approximately in the center of the first side portion 121 and the second side portion 122, and does not contact either the first side portion 121 or the second side portion 122. Note that, as viewed from the perspective of Fig. 4, the wiring portion 62 is hidden behind the second elastic portion 102. The two dashed dotted lines in Fig. 4 indicate cut surfaces in the XY plane and the YZ plane, and cross-sectional views of these will be described later.
[0019] 5 is a bottom view of the temperature detector 6 and the mounting member 100, i.e., a view from the negative side of the Z axis. Most of the configuration of the mounting member 100 cannot be seen in Fig. 5, and only the first folded portion 131R and the second folded portion 132R protruding from the bus bar 5 on both sides of the Y axis are clearly shown.
[0020] FIG. 6 is a cross-sectional view taken along line VI-VI in FIG. 4. As shown in FIG. 4, FIG. 6 illustrates the region on the positive side of the X-axis relative to the second elastic portion 102. The large rectangle in the center of FIG. 6 represents the cross section of the temperature measurement target region 5A of the busbar 5, with the element portion 61 disposed on the positive side of the Z-axis of the temperature measurement target region 5A. The first elastic portion 101 is disposed further on the positive side of the element portion 61 on the Z-axis. The temperature measurement target region 5A and the element portion 61 are surrounded by a mounting member 100. Hereinafter, the surface of the element portion 61 on the positive side of the Z-axis will be referred to as the first element surface 61A, and the surface of the element portion 61 on the negative side of the Z-axis will be referred to as the second element surface 61B. Furthermore, the surface of the temperature measurement target region 5A on the positive side of the Z-axis will be referred to as the first temperature measurement surface 5A1, and the surface of the temperature measurement target region 5A on the negative side of the Z-axis will be referred to as the second temperature measurement surface 5A2.
[0021] In Figure 6, five points where the mounting member 100 contacts the temperature detector 6 and the temperature measurement area 5A are indicated by white circles. At the first contact point T1, the first elastic portion 101 contacts the element portion 61. The first elastic portion 101 biases the element portion 61 toward the negative Z-axis. Note that in Figure 6, the first contact point T1 is shown as a single point in the center of the surface of the element portion 61 on the positive Z-axis side. However, in reality, contact may occur over a wider area than just the single central point. At the second contact point T2, the first straight portion 131S contacts the lower right corner of the temperature measurement area 5A. At the third contact point T3, the second temperature measurement surface 5A2 contacts the first folded portion 131R. At the fourth contact point T4, the second temperature measurement surface 5A2 contacts the second folded portion 132R. At the fifth contact point T5, the lower left corner of the temperature measurement region 5A in the drawing comes into contact with the second linear portion 132S.
[0022] 6, there is a space between the element portion 61 and the first side portion 121, and between the element portion 61 and the second side portion 122. In other words, it can be said that each of the first side portion 121 and the second side portion 122 is disposed at a distance from the element portion 61 of the temperature detector 6. Because the first side portion 121 and the second side portion 122 are spaced apart from the element portion 61, i.e., not in close contact with the element portion 61, the element portion 61 is less susceptible to the temperature of the mounting member 100. In other words, the element portion 61 can measure the temperature of the temperature measurement region 5A with high accuracy and good responsiveness.
[0023] FIG. 7 is a cross-sectional view taken along the line VII-VII in FIG. 4. In this figure, as in FIG. 6, the points where the mounting member 100 contacts the temperature detector 6 and the bus bar 5 are indicated by white circles. The same contact points as in FIG. 6 are denoted by the same reference numerals. The temperature detector 6 includes an element portion 61 in the center of the figure and a wiring portion 62 shown to the left of the element portion 61. A first elastic portion 101 contacts the element portion 61, and a second elastic portion 102 contacts the wiring portion 62. The first elastic portion 101 and the second elastic portion 102 each bias the temperature detector 6 toward the negative side of the Z axis. The contact point between the element portion 61 and the first elastic portion 101 is the first contact point T1 as shown in FIG. 6. The contact point between the wiring portion 62 and the second elastic portion 102 is the sixth contact point T6.
[0024] Comparing the positions of the wiring part 62 and the element part 61 on the positive side of the Z axis, the wiring part 62 is located at a lower position as viewed in Fig. 7. Therefore, even if some external force acts to move the temperature detector 6 toward the negative side of the X axis, the second elastic part 102 gets caught on the step between the wiring part 62 and the element part 61, and movement of the temperature detector 6 toward the negative side of the X axis is restricted.
[0025] The contact point between the second return portion 132R and the bus bar 5 is the fourth contact point T4 as shown in FIG. 6 . Note that in FIG. 6 , the depth in the X-axis direction was compressed, so there was only one fourth contact point T4, but in FIG. 7 , there are two fourth contact points T4. Also, although each fourth contact point T4 is shown as a single point in the center of a side, the position of the fourth contact point T4 does not have to be the center of the side, and the entire side may be in contact. Note that the fifth contact point T5 shown in FIG. 6 is located on the back side of the second return portion 132R, i.e., on the negative side of the Y-axis, and therefore cannot be seen in this figure.
[0026] Fig. 8 is a diagram illustrating the side protrusion. The upper part of Fig. 8 shows the mounting member 100 alone, the middle part of Fig. 8 shows the mounting member 100 attached to the temperature measurement area 5A, and the lower part of Fig. 8 shows the state after the temperature detector 6 has been assembled to the mounting member 100. The lower part of Fig. 8 is substantially the same as Fig. 7. As shown in the upper and middle parts of Fig. 8, before the mounting member 100 is attached to the temperature measurement area 5A, a part of the second side portion 122 exists on the positive side of the Z axis relative to the first elastic portion 101.
[0027] In the following, the region of the second side portion 122 that is on the positive side of the Z axis from the first elastic portion 101 before the temperature detector 6 is assembled will be referred to as the second side protrusion 122P. Although not shown in Fig. 8 , the region of the first side portion 121 that is on the positive side of the Z axis from the first elastic portion 101 before the temperature detector 6 is assembled will be referred to as the first side protrusion 121P. The first side protrusion 121P and the second side protrusion 122P help to protect the first elastic portion 101 when the mounting member 100 is attached.
[0028] FIG. 9 is a diagram illustrating the first oblique side portion 101D and the second oblique side portion 102D. The upper part of FIG. 9 is the same as FIG. 7 . Hereinafter, the portion of the first elastic portion 101 that contacts the element portion 61 will be referred to as the first elastic contact portion 101T. The portion of the second elastic portion 102 that contacts the wiring portion 62 will be referred to as the second elastic contact portion 102T. The region between the first base portion 111 and the first elastic contact portion 101T that forms an acute angle with the negative X-axis side will be referred to as the first oblique side portion 101D. The region between the second base portion 112 and the second elastic contact portion 102T that forms an acute angle with the negative X-axis side will be referred to as the second oblique side portion 102D. However, the angles that the first oblique side portion 101D and the second oblique side portion 102D form with the positive X-axis side can also be considered obtuse angles.
[0029] The lower part of FIG. 9 illustrates the angles formed by the first oblique side portion 101D and the second oblique side portion 102D and the X-axis. The first positive angle θ1P is the angle formed by the first oblique side portion 101D and the positive side of the X-axis. The first negative angle θ1N is the angle formed by the first oblique side portion 101D and the negative side of the X-axis. The second positive angle θ2P is the angle formed by the second oblique side portion 102D and the positive side of the X-axis. The second negative angle θ2N is the angle formed by the second oblique side portion 102D and the negative side of the X-axis. Both the first positive angle θ1P and the second positive angle θ2P are obtuse angles, i.e., angles greater than 90 degrees. Both the first negative angle θ1N and the second negative angle θ2N are acute angles, i.e., angles smaller than 90 degrees.
[0030] Figure 10 is a diagram showing the effect of the elastic portion. After the mounting member 100 is attached to the temperature measurement area 5A, the temperature detector 6 is fixed to the temperature measurement area 5A by the mounting member 100. Specifically, as shown in the upper part of Figure 10, the temperature detector 6 is inserted from the negative side of the X axis between the temperature measurement area 5A and the first elastic portion 101 and second elastic portion 102 of the mounting member 100 to which the temperature measurement area 5A is attached. At this time, the tip of the element portion 61 contacts the first oblique side portion 101D and the second oblique side portion 102D.
[0031] 10 , when the temperature detector 6 abuts against the first oblique side portion 101D of the first elastic portion 101 with an insertion force F1, an inclined vertical load F2 and a load F3 that pushes the first oblique side portion 101D upward are generated by the first oblique side portion 101D. This load F3 lifts the first elastic portion 101 in the positive direction of the Z axis, creating a gap into which the temperature detector 6 can be inserted. Similarly, in the second elastic portion 102, a load F3 that pushes the second oblique side portion 102D upward is generated by the insertion force F1, creating a gap into which the temperature detector 6 can be inserted.
[0032] The above-described embodiment provides the following advantageous effects. (1) The rotating electric machine 1 includes a rotor 2, an annular stator core 3 arranged to surround at least a portion of the rotor 2, a stator winding 4 wound around the stator core 3, bus bars 5 to which the stator winding 4 is connected, a temperature-measured area 5A provided on one of the bus bars 5, a temperature detector 6 having an element portion 61 arranged in contact with the temperature-measured area 5A and a wiring portion 62 connected to the element portion 61, and an attachment member 100 for attaching the temperature detector 6 to the temperature-measured area 5A. As shown in FIGS. 6 and 7 , the element portion 61 and the temperature-measured area 5A are arranged side by side in the Z-axis direction. The mounting member 100 comprises a first elastic part 101 that biases the element first surface 61A, which is a surface approximately perpendicular to the Z-axis direction of the element part 61, in the negative direction of the Z-axis in which the temperature-measured area 5A is arranged; a first base part 111 that is a surface approximately parallel to the element first surface 61A and is connected to the first elastic part 101; first side parts 121 and second side parts 122 that are in a direction perpendicular to the Z-axis direction and that sandwich the element part 61 from both sides in the Y-axis direction, which is the width direction of the element part 61, but do not contact the element part 61 and are connected to the first base part 111; and first leg parts 131 and second leg parts 132 that are connected to the first side parts 121 and second side parts 122 and contact the temperature-measured area 5A in the opposite direction to the element part 61, i.e., from the negative Z-axis side, and that, together with the first elastic part 101, sandwich the element part 61 and the temperature-measured area 5A from both sides in the Z-axis direction. Therefore, the temperature detector 6 and the temperature measurement area 5A can be stably fixed by the mounting member 100.
[0033] (2) The temperature measurement area 5A has a rectangular cross section in the YZ plane and includes a first temperature measurement surface 5A1 that contacts the temperature detector 6 and a second temperature measurement surface 5A2 that is the surface opposite to the first temperature measurement surface 5A1. The first leg 131 and the second leg 132 include a first linear portion 131S and a second linear portion 132S that contact the ends of the second temperature measurement surface 5A2 in the Y axis direction, and a first folded portion 131R and a second folded portion 132R that are folded back from the first linear portion 131S and the second linear portion 132S and contact the second temperature measurement surface 5A2. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 6 , the mounting member 100 grips the temperature measurement area 5A and the temperature detector 6 not only from both sides in the Z axis direction but also from both sides in the Y axis direction, allowing for strong fixation. Furthermore, by using a relatively soft metal such as copper for the bus bar 5 and a material harder than the bus bar 5 for the mounting member 100, the first return portion 131R and the second return portion 132R of the mounting member 100 dig into the underside of the temperature measurement area 5A, generating a stronger fixing force.
[0034] (3) The first side portion 121 and the second side portion 122 have, at their ends on the positive side of the Z axis direction, first side protrusions 121P and second side protrusions 122P that protrude further in the positive direction of the Z axis than the first elastic portion 101 before gripping the temperature measurement area 5A and the element portion 61.
[0035] (4) The first side portion 121 and the second side portion 122 include a first side protrusion 121P and a second side protrusion 122P on both sides in the Y-axis direction. The first elastic portion 101 is disposed between the first side protrusion 121P and the second side protrusion 122P.
[0036] (5) The first side portion 121 and the second side portion 122 are disposed at a distance from the temperature detector 6. Therefore, the element portion 61 can measure the temperature of the temperature measurement region 5A with high accuracy and good response.
[0037] (6) The mounting member 100 includes the second elastic portion 102 that biases the wiring portion 62 in the negative direction of the Z axis. This suppresses the oscillation of the wiring portion 62 and improves the temperature measurement performance.
[0038] (7) The first elastic member 101 has a first oblique side 101D between the first elastic contact member 101T, which contacts the element member 61, and the first base member 111. The second elastic member 102 has a second oblique side 102D between the second elastic contact member 102T, which contacts the wiring member 62, and the second base member 112. Both the first oblique side 101D and the second oblique side 102D form acute angles with the positive side of the X-axis. Therefore, as described with reference to FIG. 10 , by inserting the temperature detector 6 from the negative side of the X-axis, an insertion force F1 for inserting the temperature detector 6 generates a load F3 that pushes the first oblique side 101D and the second oblique side 102D toward the positive side of the Z-axis, allowing for smooth insertion. This improves workability and prevents damage to the first elastic member 101 and the second elastic member 102.
[0039] (Modification 1) Fig. 11 is a diagram showing the arrangement of the element portion 61 in Modification 1. In the embodiment described above, the element portion 61 is arranged in approximately the center in the Y-axis direction of the first side portion 121 and the second side portion 122, and the element portion 61 is not in contact with either the first side portion 121 or the second side portion 122. However, the element portion 61 may be arranged in a position other than approximately the center in the Y-axis direction of the first side portion 121 and the second side portion 122. For example, as shown in Fig. 11 , the element portion 61 may be arranged in close contact with the first side portion 121, or conversely, the element portion 61 may be arranged in close contact with the second side portion 122.
[0040] (Variation 2) FIG. 12 is a diagram illustrating the shape of the side portions in Variation 2. In the above-described embodiment, the first side portion 121 and the second side portion 122 each have a first side protrusion 121P and a second side protrusion 122P that protrude toward the positive side of the Z axis. However, the first side protrusion 121P and the second side protrusion 122P may not be provided. The upper part of FIG. 12 illustrates the mounting member 100 alone before being attached to the temperature measurement area 5A. The lower part of FIG. 12 illustrates the mounting member 100 attached to the temperature measurement area 5A and the temperature detector 6. In this variation, as shown in the upper part of FIG. 12, even when the mounting member 100 is alone, when comparing the most positive position on the Z axis of the first elastic portion 101 with the most positive positions on the Z axis of the first side portion 121 and the second side portion 122, the first elastic portion 101 is located closer to the positive side. That is, in this modified example, the mounting member 100 does not include the first side protrusion 121P and the second side protrusion 122P.
[0041] (Variation 3) In the above-described embodiment, the temperature measurement area 5A is provided on the bus bar 5. However, the temperature measurement area 5A may be provided on any of the rotor 2, the stator core 3, the stator winding 4, and the bus bar 5. Furthermore, the temperature measurement area 5A does not need to be an area specially provided for temperature measurement, and it may be any area as long as it has a substantially rectangular cross section.
[0042] (Variation 4) In the above-described embodiment, the angles formed by the first oblique side portion 101D and the second oblique side portion 102D with the positive side of the X-axis are both acute angles. However, the angles formed by the first oblique side portion 101D and the second oblique side portion 102D with the positive side of the X-axis may also be obtuse angles. In this case, it is desirable that the temperature detector 6 be inserted from the positive side of the X-axis toward the negative side of the X-axis.
[0043] (Variation 5) In the embodiment described above, the mounting member 100 includes the first elastic portion 101 and the second elastic portion 102. However, the mounting member 100 may include only the first elastic portion 101 without including the second elastic portion 102.
[0044] The above-described embodiments and modifications may be combined with each other.
