Abstract
Description
Nutrition and health status analysis system using urine test kits
[0001] The present invention relates to a nutritional and health status analysis system using a urine test kit.
[0002] In recent years, with the rise in health consciousness, an increasing number of people are taking health foods and supplements. In order for users to select health foods and supplements that are suitable for them, it is important to accurately understand their own nutritional and health conditions. Bodily fluids such as blood and urine can be used to understand one's own physical condition, i.e., the presence or absence of illness and the state of one's nutritional and health conditions. However, in order for users to know their own nutritional and health conditions, they need to use specialized and expensive testing equipment for blood and urine tests, and these tests are not easily available to everyone, such as having them tested at a hospital.
[0003] A urine testing system using spot urine has been proposed as a system that allows anyone to easily perform a urine test (see Patent Document 1). This urine testing system aims to make urine testing more convenient for users, and uses a system in which a client terminal on the user's side and a server on the service provider's side are connected via a network to send and receive data, with the server evaluating and judging urine components and outputting the evaluation result data.
[0004] Patent No. 7281856
[0005] However, the above-mentioned technology requires that evaluation results be sent and received between the server and the client terminal, which takes time, and it is not possible to make an offline judgment. There is a risk of information leakage due to sending personal information to the server, and the evaluation judgment operation is complicated.
[0006] In view of the above circumstances, an object of the present invention is to provide a nutritional and health condition analysis system that enables a user to easily and quickly know his / her own nutritional and health condition offline.
[0007] In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention relates to a nutritional and health status analysis system, comprising: a client terminal, wherein the client terminal comprises: a urine test kit color data input means for inputting color data of a urine test kit into which the user's collected urine has been soaked; a question data input means for inputting question data regarding the user's physical condition within one week from the date of urine collection; a urine test kit color data analysis means for analyzing the color data of the urine test kit; a question data analysis means for analyzing the question data; and a nutritional and health status evaluation means for evaluating the nutritional and health status of a user by machine learning based on i) basic information regarding the user, including gender and age, and registered information, including lifestyle habits and medical history, and ii) pre-registered nutritional and health status information of other users that is similar to the user's past question data and analysis results of the urine test kit color data.
[0008] The client terminal may further include an internal algorithm means having a data transmission / reception means for receiving the machine-learned analysis results and data (ii).
[0009] According to the system of the present invention, a user can use a urine test kit to test urine they have collected themselves, identify the components in the urine by color, and use the color information to perform a nutritional and health assessment using machine learning on the user's client device based on basic information about other users, including gender and age, pre-registered information including lifestyle habits and medical history, and pre-registered nutritional and health status information. In other words, there is no need to send and receive data between the server and the client device to obtain the assessment results, making it possible to analyze nutritional and health status offline. As a result, the risk of information leakage caused by sending personal information to the server can be reduced.
[0010] If necessary, the client terminal may further include an internal algorithm means having a data transmission / reception means for receiving the analysis results and data obtained by the machine learning described in ii), thereby enabling the analysis results and data provided for the machine learning to be updated and revamped, enabling more accurate offline assessment of nutritional and health status.

[0012] An example of an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings. Fig. 1 shows a functional block diagram of a nutritional and health status analysis system according to an embodiment. As shown in Fig. 1, the nutritional and health status analysis system 100 includes a client terminal 10.
[0013] The client terminal 10 comprises a urine test kit color data input means 11, a question data input means 13, a urine test kit color data analysis means 14, a question data analysis means 15, a nutritional and health status evaluation means 16 and a data transmission / reception means 17.
[0014] The urine test kit color data input means 11 is used to input color data of the urine test kit immersed in collected urine, and the question data input means 13 is used to input question data regarding physical condition within one week from the day of urine collection.
[0015] The urine test kit color data analysis means 14 analyzes the color data of the urine test kit, and the question data analysis means 15 analyzes the question data.
[0016] The nutritional / health status assessment means 16 assesses the nutritional / health status of the user based on the analysis results obtained by the urine test kit color data analysis means 14 and the question data analysis means 15, and on the user information described below. The nutritional / health status assessment means 16 is equipped with machine learning means, and is able to assess the nutritional / health status with higher accuracy by learning from the analysis results and the user information.
[0017] In addition, the data transmission / reception means 17 receives, for example, machine learning analysis results and data stored in the user information storage means of a server (not shown) described below from the server (not shown), and processes the data using an internal algorithm.
[0018] This connection only needs to be made at the beginning of operation; thereafter, the nutritional and health status can be analyzed based on the received information through machine learning in the nutritional and health status assessment means 16. Therefore, the server can be taken offline, and nutritional and health assessments can be performed using only the client terminal 10. However, over time, the pre-registered information and nutritional and health status information may become outdated, potentially reducing the accuracy of the analysis performed by the machine learning in the nutritional and health status assessment means 16. In this case, for example, the client terminal 10 and the server can be placed online as appropriate, and the analysis results and data generated by machine learning can be updated and revamped using an internal algorithm means in the client terminal 10 that includes a data transmission / reception means for receiving the machine-learned analysis results and data (ii), thereby improving the accuracy of the analysis.
[0019] The server includes a user information storage means and a server-side data transmission / reception means.
[0020] The user information storage means stores user information.
[0021] The user information stored in the user information storage means includes basic information about other users, including gender and age, as well as pre-registered information including lifestyle habits and medical history, and pre-registered nutritional and health status information of other users that has already been obtained through tests other than those using the urine test kit.
[0022] Next, the usage flow of the nutritional and health status analysis system of the embodiment will be described with reference to the drawing. Figure 2 shows a schematic flow diagram of the nutritional and health status analysis system of the present embodiment.
[0023] 2, first, the user checks whether the client terminal 10 has the latest analytical engine (S1). If the analytical engine is the latest, the user simply logs into the client terminal 10 (S2). If the analytical engine is not the latest, the user accesses a server (not shown) as appropriate (S11), downloads the latest analytical engine (S12), and then logs into the client terminal 10 (S2).
[0024] Next, the user is given a tutorial on how to use the client terminal 10, i.e., the nutritional and health status analysis system 100 (S3). After that, the user applies urine directly to the test kit and checks the color change of the test kit (S4). Figure 3 is a schematic diagram of the test kit used in this embodiment. As shown in Figure 3, the test kit 20 of this embodiment has multiple rectangular reaction sites 21, 22 that react with components in urine to develop color. These reaction sites include four color check sites 21 and four surrounding black sites 22 with different brightness levels. To minimize the effects of light, the four color check sites 21 are spaced as far apart as possible on the test kit 20, making it less likely that the color check sites 21 will be simultaneously affected by the same light source. Even if one site displays an incorrect brightness due to external light, the other sites 21 will have less of an effect.
[0025] Next, the user answers the questions using the question data input means 13 provided in the client terminal 10 (S5). FIG. 4 shows an image of the screen display for question data input. As shown in FIG. 4, symptom selection fields (7a to 7c) and a button 6d are displayed on the display 1. Specifically, a symptom selection field 7a for inputting the "most worrisome symptom," a symptom selection field 7b for inputting the "second most worrisome symptom," and a symptom selection field 7c for inputting the "third most worrisome symptom" are displayed. The user selects one of the symptom selection fields (7a to 7c) and then selects the item that best suits them from the items (not shown) that appear.
[0026] Here, only three symptom selection fields are displayed, but the number may be four or more, or two or less. Also, the user does not necessarily have to answer all of the symptom selection fields provided, and may, for example, only input information into the symptom selection field 7a.
[0027] The questions are not limited to "symptoms of concern" and may include, for example, questions about the user's weight, blood pressure, pulse rate, etc. The input method is not limited to selecting from pre-prepared items and may include, for example, answering in free text.
[0028] After the user selects the appropriate item for each symptom selection field (7a to 7c), the user taps the button 6d labeled "Next." The client terminal 10 then analyzes the question data using the question data analysis means 15.
[0029] After the input of the question data is completed, the test kit 20 is photographed (S6) using a camera (not shown) installed in the client terminal 10, and image analysis is performed (S7). The image analysis is performed based on the brightness and chromaticity information of the four colors 21 of the color check and the black color 22 around the pad. At this time, the client terminal 10 checks whether the photograph was taken properly. If the photographed data taken by the camera means installed in the client terminal 10 cannot be analyzed, the urine test kit color data input means 11 automatically photographs the image again using the camera means.
[0030] In addition, the camera can capture an image of the reaction site of the urine test kit (test kit) that has developed a color due to the collected urine, correct the color image of the reaction site based on the color sample kit, and return the corrected color image to the client terminal. At this time, if the image cannot be captured well due to a shadow or the like, an image quality check is performed, such as discarding the image (S8).
[0031] After analyzing the question data and test kit 20, the client terminal 10 uses the nutritional / health status evaluation means 16 to evaluate the user's nutritional / health status offline through machine learning (S9 and S10). Specifically, the user's nutritional / health status is evaluated through machine learning based on pre-registered nutritional / health status information already obtained from other users' test kits that is similar to the analysis results of the user's past question data and urine test kit color data. At this time, the client terminal 10 accesses a server (not shown) as needed using the data transmission / reception means 17, which transmits and receives the machine-learned analysis results and data (S91), receives the analysis results and data from the server, and performs image analysis using an internal algorithm (S92 and S93) to improve the accuracy of the analysis.
[0032] The client terminal 10 displays the evaluated nutritional and health data on the display 1 (step S11).
[0033] After the nutritional and health data is displayed on the display 1, the display 1 of the client terminal 10 transitions to the home screen (S12), and the user logs out, thereby ending the nutritional and health status evaluation on the client terminal 10 (S13).
[0034] As described above, the user can use the test kit 20 to test urine they have collected themselves, determine the mineral content in the urine by color, and evaluate the color information on the client terminal 10 itself, thereby quickly understanding the user's nutritional and health status. The client terminal 10 can be a PC, smartphone, tablet, or other device. This allows the user to easily use the nutritional and health status analysis system.
[0035] Furthermore, by the client terminal 10 further comprising a question data input means 13 and a question data analysis means 15 regarding the user's physical condition within one week from the day the urine was collected, it becomes possible to evaluate the user's nutritional and health status taking into account any changes in physical condition or symptoms recognized by the user on the day the urine was collected and on days close to that day.
[0036] As a result, it is possible to provide a nutritional and health condition analysis system 100 that allows a user to easily and quickly know his or her own nutritional and health conditions.
[0037] In view of the above embodiments, the present application also encompasses the following inventions: [1] A system including a client terminal, wherein the client terminal comprises: urine test kit color data input means for inputting color data of a urine test kit into which a user's collected urine has been soaked, question data input means for inputting question data regarding the user's physical condition within one week from the date of urine collection, urine test kit color data analysis means for analyzing the color data of the urine test kit, question data analysis means for analyzing the question data, and nutritional and health status evaluation means for evaluating the nutritional and health status of a user by machine learning based on i) basic information about the user, including gender and age, and registered information, including lifestyle habits and medical history, and ii) pre-registered nutritional and health status information of other users that is similar to the user's past question data and analysis results of the urine test kit color data.
