Abstract
Description
[0001] Motor vehicle sliding door unit
[0002] Description:
[0003] The invention relates to a motor vehicle sliding door unit, in particular a transverse bulkhead sliding door unit, with at least one door leaf that can be moved substantially linearly relative to an opening of a body, and with a drive for the door leaf, wherein the drive is equipped with an electric motor and a telescopic unit.
[0004] Motor vehicle sliding door units are described, among others, in DE 197 32 420 C2 and DE 698 14 873 T2. The door leaf, which can be moved essentially linearly relative to the opening in the body, is additionally equipped with a motor vehicle lock. The motor vehicle lock has its own lock drive.
[0005] Within the framework of the generic teaching according to DE 10 2018 127 315 A1, the drive for the door leaf is equipped not only with an electric motor but also with a telescopic unit. This can be achieved by a first telescopic element and a second telescopic element, both of which interlock in a tubular manner. This allows for large travel ranges.
[0006] The implementation of large travel ranges for the essentially linearly movable door leaf is particularly relevant when it comes to a transverse bulkhead sliding door unit, which is particularly preferred. Such a transverse bulkhead sliding door unit is characterized in that the door leaf is typically not moved longitudinally relative to the opening in an outer skin of the body. Rather, in this case, the door leaf ensures, for example, that a driver's cab is separated from a cargo area. The transverse bulkhead sliding door unit implemented thus allows a driver to access the cargo area from the inside if necessary. For this reason, such transverse bulkhead sliding door units are typically used in small vans when, for example, individual packages placed in the area of the transverse bulkhead implemented in this way need to be removed and logistics overall need to be simplified.Without such a transverse bulkhead sliding door unit, the driver, who is usually also the delivery person, would first have to make his way through the packages that are on or in the loading area, for example, in order to reach the package he is looking for.
[0007] Of course, the invention is expressly not limited to such transverse bulkhead sliding door units; rather, any motor vehicle sliding door unit can be equipped with the telescopic unit. However, previous solutions are characterized by the fact that, in the generic prior art according to DE 10 2018 127 315 A1, a complex spindle / spindle nut drive is ultimately used. This is not only structurally complex and heavy, but also associated with increased costs during production and assembly. The invention aims to remedy this situation.
[0008] The invention is based on the technical problem of further developing such a motor vehicle sliding door unit in such a way that, taking into account the largest possible travel, a structurally simpler and more cost-effective solution is provided compared to the previous state of the art.
[0009] To solve this technical problem, a generic motor vehicle sliding door unit is characterized in the context of the invention in that the telescoping unit is designed as a rope-based pulley unit.
[0010] In contrast to the generic prior art according to DE 102018 127 315 A1, the invention expressly does not rely on a spindle-Z-spindle nut drive. Instead, a rope-based pulley unit is used as the overall telescoping unit. A pulley unit generally refers to a pulley block that is equipped for this purpose and typically with at least one stationary and one movable rope pulley. At least one rope is guided over the two rope pulleys. Usually, multiple ropes are used, as explained in more detail below.
[0011] In this context, the usual procedure is to connect at least one stationary pulley to the body. In contrast, the movable pulley is connected to the door leaf.
[0012] In this context, a design has proven particularly advantageous in which the door leaf is constructed in two parts, with an inner and outer leaf. In this context, the inner leaf usually carries the movable pulley, which carries the outer leaf when the inner leaf is subjected to force.
[0013] In this embodiment, the electric motor is connected to the inner door leaf via a fixed pulley connected to the body and a cable guided over this pulley. This allows the inner door leaf to be moved back and forth. The inner door leaf also carries the movable pulley, which consequently follows the back and forth movement of the inner door leaf.
[0014] In this way, the outer door leaf can be moved along by this movable pulley when the inner door leaf is impacted. For this purpose, another cable is connected at one end to the body and at the other end to the outer door leaf. The additional, or second, cable in question is guided over the movable pulley.
[0015] When the first cable connected to the electric motor acts on the inner door leaf via the stationary cable pulley, this action ensures that the inner door leaf is moved, for example, in its closing direction. For this purpose, the first cable is connected to the inner door leaf. The movement of the inner door leaf with the attached movable cable pulley then causes the second cable guided via the movable cable pulley to act on the outer door leaf. This generally happens at twice the speed at which the first cable operates the inner door leaf. In this way, when the door leaf is open, the inner and outer door leaves are aligned with each other, for example in a shaft, thus completely clearing the opening. In contrast, the closed state of the door leaf corresponds to the inner and outer leafs connecting to each other, concealing the opening. The movement of the respective inner and outer leafs via the first and second cables can generally be achieved in such a way that the first cable is a continuous cable for the back and forth movement of the inner and outer leafs.
[0016] Likewise, the second cable for the outer door leaf may be a continuous cable for the back-and-forth movement. However, in principle, two different cables can also be used for the first cable and the second cable, namely one for the opening movement and another for the closing movement. All variations are covered by the invention.
[0017] In another alternative embodiment, the outer door leaf carries the movable cable pulley, via which the inner door leaf is carried when the outer door leaf is acted upon. In this case, the signs are reversed compared to the previously described embodiment. This means that the first cable is acted upon by the electric motor in such a way that the inner door leaf, rather than the outer door leaf, is directly connected to it. Since the outer door leaf carries the movable cable pulley, the second cable, which is again fixedly connected to the body at one end and is guided via the movable cable pulley to the inner door leaf, is carried along by the outer door leaf when the outer door leaf is acted upon. This allows both door leaves to be arranged parallel and aligned with one another in the shaft in the open position, thus allowing the opening to be opened. In contrast, the closed position of the two door leaves means that they cover the opening in a connected state.
[0018] Either way, all of the variants described offer the significant advantage that the rope-based pulley unit implemented in this way is structurally simple while simultaneously providing a large adjustment range for the door leaf. This significantly reduces manufacturing and assembly costs compared to previous designs. This represents the key advantages.
[0019] As already explained above, at least one first cable or primary cable originating from the electric motor is connected to the inner or outer door leaf via the stationary cable pulley for loading it. Furthermore, the invention utilizes at least one additional cable. This additional second cable is connected to the body and guided over the movable cable pulley. The secondary cable in question is one connected to the outer or inner door leaf.
[0020] Finally, a particularly functional design has proven advantageous in which the stationary and movable pulleys, together with the ropes guided over them—i.e., the primary rope and the secondary rope—describe different planes. This eliminates any interactions between the pulleys and the ropes. The different planes in question, defined by the pulley and the respective rope, are generally arranged parallel and spaced apart from each other. This allows the inner and outer door leaves to be loaded without collision, both during the opening and closing phases.
[0021] The result is a motor vehicle sliding door unit that is simple and cost-effective in design and simultaneously provides a large adjustment range for the door leaf actuated by it, or for both door leaves, namely the inner door leaf and the outer door leaf together. The cable actuation also enables virtually maintenance-free operation, and unlike state-of-the-art spindle-Z-spindle nut drives, there is no risk of functional impairments due to dirt or corrosion, for example. Furthermore, the cable-based pulley unit used according to the invention ensures low-force actuation, so that the electric motor can be designed to be compact and thus optimized in terms of weight and cost compared to the state-of-the-art according to DE 10 2018 127 315 A1.
[0022] The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to a drawing which merely represents an exemplary embodiment; in the drawings:
[0023] Fig. 1 the motor vehicle sliding door unit according to the invention in
[0024] Installation state in a motor vehicle body, Fig. 2 a schematic plan view obliquely from above of the
[0025] Sliding door unit with the door leaf and drive,
[0026] Fig. 3 is a side view of the object according to Fig. 2 from the direction X there and
[0027] Fig. 4A and 4B show the basic operation of the motor vehicle sliding door unit and the assumption of the position “open” in Fig. 4A and “closed” in Fig. 4B.
[0028] The figures depict a motor vehicle sliding door unit. The motor vehicle sliding door unit in question is, within the scope of the exemplary embodiment and not by way of limitation, a so-called transverse bulkhead sliding door unit. This is clearly illustrated in Fig. 1. There, one can see a motor vehicle body 1 and an opening 2 in the motor vehicle body 1, which can be closed and opened using a door leaf 3a, 3b. For this purpose, the door leaf 3a, 3b, according to the exemplary embodiment and not by way of limitation, is equipped in two parts with an inner door leaf 3a and an outer door leaf 3b, as a comparison with Fig. 2 clearly shows.
[0029] According to the exemplary embodiment in Fig. 1, the door leaf 3a, 3b closes an opening 2 in the interior of the body 1, which in this case is located between a driver's cab and a loading space of the small truck partially shown here. For this reason, the door leaf 3a, 3b extends in a transverse direction Q compared to the longitudinal direction L of the motor vehicle body 1. However, this is only an exemplary installation situation, because the motor vehicle sliding door unit according to the invention with the door leaf 3a, 3b can also be used to close an opening 2 in the motor vehicle body or
[0030] Body 1 can serve, which extends in the longitudinal direction L of the motor vehicle body 1 and is not located inside the motor vehicle body 1, but rather on its outer skin, as is generally known from motor vehicle sliding door units.
[0031] In any case, the illustrated motor vehicle sliding door unit not only has the door leaf 3a, 3b, which can be moved essentially linearly relative to the opening 2 of the body 1, but also a drive 4, 5 for the respective door leaf 3a, 3b. The drive 4, 5 essentially consists of an electric motor 4 and a telescoping unit 5. This can best be understood from Figs. 2 and 3. These illustrations also clearly show that the telescoping unit 5 is designed according to the invention as a rope-based pulley unit 5.
[0032] For this purpose, the rope-based pulley unit 5 in question primarily has a stationary pulley 6. Furthermore, a further movable pulley 7 is provided. In addition to these two pulleys 6, 7, two further pulleys 8, 9 are provided according to the exemplary embodiment. The further pulley 8 is again designed to be stationary, whereas the fourth pulley 9 is designed to be movable.
[0033] A comparison of Figs. 4A, 4B and 2 shows that the respective stationary cable pulley 6, 8 is connected to the body 1. In contrast, the movable cable pulley 7, 9 is connected to the door leaf 3a, 3b. According to the exemplary embodiment, the movable cable pulley 7, 9 is connected to the inner door leaf 3a, or rather, is connected thereto, as a comparison of Figs. 2 and 4A, 4B makes clear. This means that the inner door leaf 3a carries at least one movable cable pulley 7 and, according to the exemplary embodiment, the two movable cable pulleys 7, 9. The outer door leaf 3b is carried by means of these movable cable pulleys 7, 9 when the inner door leaf 3a is subjected to force. This means that the pulley principle is implemented because the movable rope pulley 7, 9 moves together with the inner door leaf 3a, as will be explained in more detail below.
[0034] In principle, the functions can also be swapped within the scope of the exemplary embodiment. In this case, in a variant not shown, the outer door leaf 3b is equipped with the movable cable pulley 6, 8 or the two movable cable pulleys 6, 8. In this case, the inner door leaf 3a is moved via the movable cable pulleys 6, 8 when the outer door leaf 3b is actuated by the electric motor 4. In the variant shown, however, the design is reversed. Here, the outer door leaf 3b is moved via the movable cable pulley 7, 9 or the two movable cable pulleys 7, 9 on the inner door leaf 3a when the inner door leaf 3a is actuated by the electric motor 4.
[0035] It can also be seen that at least a first cable or primary cable 10, 11 is connected to the inner door leaf 3a via the stationary cable pulley 6, 8. According to the exemplary embodiment, two primary cables 10, 11 are implemented at this point. A first primary cable 10 corresponds to the first stationary cable pulley 6. In contrast, the second primary cable 11 belongs to the second stationary cable pulley 8. When comparing Figs. 4A and 4B, the first primary cable 10 ensures that the door leaf 3a, 3b is transferred from its closed position shown in Fig. 4B to the open position according to Fig. 4A. For this transition, the first primary cable 10 is moved "to the left" with the aid of the electric motor 4, as shown in Fig. 4B.
[0036] However, if the closed position shown in Fig. 4B is to be assumed, the second primary cable 11 is actuated by means of the electric motor 4, which moves the inner door leaf 3a "to the right" in the illustration according to Fig. 4A via the second stationary cable pulley 8. The respective cable 10, 11 is connected to the electric motor 4. For this purpose, the electric motor 4 may be equipped with an associated cable tensioning system, which prevents any slack in the two primary cables 10, 11.
[0037] In addition to the two primary cables 10, 11 in the example, two secondary cables 12, 13 are also implemented. The two secondary cables 12, 13 are guided over the movable cable pulley 7, 9 and the two movable cable pulleys 7, 9, respectively. Considering the sequence of figures in Figs. 4A and 4B, it becomes clear that the first secondary cable 12 is fixedly connected to the body 1 at one (right) end. The other (left) end of the first secondary cable 12 is coupled to the outer door leaf 3b, as shown in Fig. 4A. As soon as the door leaf 3a, 3b moves from its "closed" position shown in Fig. 4B to the "open" functional position shown in Fig. 4A, the inner door leaf 3a, moved by the electric motor 4, ensures that the outer door leaf 3b is pulled along via the movable pulley 7 belonging to the first secondary cable 12. During this process, the first secondary cable 12 is moved in the illustration according to Fig.4B is pulled “to the left” at a speed twice that of the first primary rope 10.
[0038] As a result, both door leaves 3a, 3b, ie the inner door leaf 3a and the outer door leaf 3b, are accommodated in the opened state according to Fig. 4A, aligned with one another and spaced parallel from one another in, for example, a shaft and thus release the opening 2 in the body 1.
[0039] Based on the side view in Fig. 3 from direction X of the object according to Fig. 2, it can be seen in the "rear view" reproduced there that the stationary cable pulley 6, 8 and the movable cable pulley 7, 9, together with the primary cable 10, 11 and the secondary cable 12, 13 guided over them, describe different planes. In fact, the two stationary cable pulleys 6, 8 in the exemplary embodiment are arranged in an uppermost plane, in which the associated primary cables 10, 11 are also arranged. In contrast, the movable cable pulleys 7, 9 are placed in one or, according to the exemplary embodiment, two planes arranged below them. The same applies to the secondary cables 12, 13. It can be seen that, according to the exemplary embodiment, the planes are arranged parallel and spaced from one another in order to avoid any mutual functional impairments.
[0040] The functionality will be explained in detail below using the illustration in Figs. 4A and 4B. Starting from the open state in Fig. 4A, in which both door leaves 3a, 3b are aligned and parallel to each other in the shaft of the body 1 and at the edge of the opening 2, the transition to the closed position according to Fig. 4B corresponds to the electric motor 4 acting on the second primary cable 11, specifically in such a way that this moves the inner door leaf 3a "to the right," as indicated by a corresponding arrow in Fig. 4A.
[0041] The movement of the inner door leaf 3a "to the right" in the illustration in Fig. 4A results in the outer door leaf 3b being driven along. This is because the inner door leaf 3a has the second movable cable pulley 9 according to the exemplary embodiment at its "right end." The secondary cable 13 is guided over this cable pulley 9 and, for this purpose, is connected to a "left end" of the outer door leaf 3b. As soon as the inner door leaf 3a - actuated by the electric motor 4 - moves "to the right" in the exemplary embodiment, the movable cable pulley 9 is driven along. The secondary cable 13 guided over this cable now ensures that the outer door leaf 3b is also driven along in this way, at a speed twice that of the primary cable 11, via the secondary cable 13.
[0042] This movement continues until both door leaves 3a, 3b are extended and connect to each other to close the opening 2 in the body 1, as shown in Fig. 4B. Additional stops (not expressly shown) may be provided for this purpose, which limit the travel path. A cable tensioning system provided inside the electric motor 4 ensures that the primary cable 11 is tensioned. The same applies to the primary cable 10, which
[0043] - like the primary rope 11 - originates from the electric motor 4 and is actuated by it.
[0044] In fact, the action of the primary rope 10 ensures that the door leaf 3a, 3b is transferred from its “closed” position shown in Fig. 4B to the “open” position shown in Fig. 4A.
[0045] In this context, the electric motor 4 actually ensures that the inner door leaf 3a is moved "to the left" during this process via the first primary cable 10. For this purpose, one end of the primary cable 10 is connected to the electric motor 4, while the other end of the primary cable 10 is connected to the inner door leaf 3a.
[0046] As soon as the inner door leaf 3a moves "to the left" during the transition from Fig. 4B to Fig. 4A, the outer door leaf 3b is pulled along with it. This is because the secondary cable 12, which is guided over the movable cable pulley 7 relevant in this case, ensures the aforementioned pulling movement. For this purpose, the secondary cable 12 is fixedly connected to the body 1 at one end, while the other end is connected to the outer door leaf 3b. As soon as the movable cable pulley 7 moves “to the left” together with the inner door leaf 3a during the transition from Fig. 4B to Fig. 4A, the outer door leaf 3b is also moved “to the left” via the secondary cable 12, with the secondary cable 12 moving at twice the speed of the primary cable 10. As a result, at the end of this movement, both door leaves 3a, 3b are aligned with one another and overlap in parallel in the shaft of the body 1 as shown in Fig.4A find their place and opening 2 is released.
[0047] It should be emphasized that instead of the two primary ropes 10,
[0048] 11 and the two secondary ropes 12, 13, it is of course also possible to work with a continuous rope 10, 11; 12, 13. Furthermore, in the exemplary embodiment, work is carried out with equally sized rope pulleys 6, 8; 7, 9. This can of course be varied, depending on which
[0049] Speed ratios are desired. Finally, the invention also covers embodiments in which the outer door leaf 3a is actuated at a higher speed than the slower-moving inner door leaf 3b, using the rope-based pulley unit 5. However, this is not shown in detail.
