AI Technical Summary
Conventional fabric structures with slide fasteners lack rigidity near the element member, leading to buckling and difficulty in operating the slider with one hand, especially with longer element members.
Incorporating rigid bodies along the extension direction of the element member, ensuring a length five times longer than the slider body, and adhering to a specific rigidity formula to enhance the fabric's structural integrity and prevent buckling.
The rigid bodies improve the operability of the slide fastener by preventing buckling, allowing the slider to be operated with one hand and enhancing the fabric's rigidity in the vicinity of the element member.

Abstract
Description
Fabric body construction with slide zipper
[0001] The present disclosure relates to a fabric body structure with a slide fastener suitable for products such as clothing, shoes, and bags.
[0002] BACKGROUND ART Conventionally, a fabric structure with a slide fastener suitable for clothing, for example, is known, as shown in Patent Document 1.
[0003] Patent Document 1 discloses a garment 10 including a front section 20. The front section 20 is configured to cover the front side of the wearer's torso. The front section 20 has a right front body section 21, a left front body section 22, and a first slide fastener 23 that engages the right front body section 21 and the left front body section 22 so as to be able to open and close freely.
[0004] The first slide fastener 23 has a pair of front fastener stringers 23a, 23b and a slider 23c. Each of the front fastener stringers 23a, 23b has a fastener tape 23d fixed to the peripheral edge of the right front body portion 21 and the peripheral edge of the left front body portion 22, and an element member made up of a plurality of elements 23e provided at regular intervals along the length of the fastener tape 23d.
[0005] JP 2019-94587 A
[0006] The fabric structure (garment) of Patent Document 1 does not include any components for providing rigidity to the fabric structure near the element members or in the stretch direction of the element members. Therefore, when a user uses the slider 23c to open or close the right front body portion 21 and the left front body portion 22, the user's operating force applied to the slider 23c tends to cause the peripheral edge of the right front body portion 21, the peripheral edge of the left front body portion 22, and the fastener tape 23d to buckle, for example, in the front-to-back direction of the front portion 20 (i.e., the thickness direction of the fabric body). In particular, the longer the element members, the more likely the peripheral edge of the right front body portion 21, the peripheral edge of the left front body portion 22, and the fastener tape 23d to buckle.
[0007] As a result, the user had to hold the left front body portion 22 with one hand (e.g., the left hand) to prevent buckling, while using the other hand (e.g., the right hand) to open and close the slider. In other words, it was not easy for the user to operate the slider of the first slide fastener 23 with only one hand (e.g., the left hand) without using the other hand.
[0008] The present disclosure has been made in consideration of these points, and its purpose is to improve the operability of a slide fastener while suppressing buckling of the fabric body structure.
[0009] In order to achieve the above object, the first disclosure relates to a fabric body structure with a slide fastener, which comprises a fabric body having a first fabric portion and a second fabric portion, a slide fastener attached to the peripheral edge of the first fabric portion and the peripheral edge of the second fabric portion facing the peripheral edge of the first fabric portion, and at least one rigid body. The slide fastener has an element member and a slider. The slider includes a slider body and a pull tab. The rigid body is disposed near the element member and along the extension direction of the element member. The slider body is configured so that its length in the extension direction of the element member is a first length. The rigid body is configured so that its length in the extension direction of the element member is a second length. The second length is five times or more the first length.
[0010] In the first disclosure, the fabric body structure includes a rigid body, which improves the rigidity of the fabric body structure in the vicinity of the element member and in the extension direction of the element member. This makes the fabric body structure less likely to buckle when the user operates the slider. As a result, the user can operate the slider with one hand, improving the operability of the slide fastener. Therefore, in the first disclosure, the operability of the slide fastener can be improved while suppressing buckling of the fabric body structure.
[0011] In the second disclosure, in the first disclosure, the rigid body is configured to satisfy a condition expressed by the following mathematical formula.
[0012] [Equation 1] E3 × I3 ≧ (Pc × 4L 2 ) / π 2 -(E1 x I1 + E2 x I2) In the formula, E1 is the modulus of longitudinal elasticity of the fabric body, I1 is the second moment of area of the fabric body, E2 is the modulus of longitudinal elasticity of the slide fastener, I2 is the second moment of area of the slide fastener, E3 is the modulus of longitudinal elasticity of the rigid body, I3 is the second moment of area of the rigid body, Pc is the external force applied to the slider body when the slider is operated, L is the total length of the element member, and π is the circumference of the slider.
[0013] In this second disclosure, by providing a rigid body configured to satisfy the conditions expressed by the above mathematical formula, the rigidity of the fabric body structure is ensured in the vicinity of the element member and in the extension direction of the element member. This makes the fabric body structure less likely to buckle when the user operates the slider. As a result, the user can operate the slider with one hand, improving the operability of the slide fastener. Therefore, in the second disclosure, the operability of the slide fastener can be improved while suppressing buckling of the fabric body structure.
[0014] In a third disclosure, in the first or second disclosure, the slide fastener includes an upper stop and a lower stop, and the rigid body is disposed near a position corresponding to the upper stop or a position corresponding to the lower stop.
[0015] In the third disclosure, the rigidity of the fabric body structure can be increased in the vicinity of the position corresponding to the top end or the position corresponding to the bottom end.
[0016] In a fourth disclosure, in the first or second disclosure, the slide fastener includes an upper stop and a lower stop. The rigid body extends continuously along the extension direction of the element member. The rigid body is configured so that the width dimension of the rigid body is constant from the vicinity of a position corresponding to the upper stop or the lower stop along the extension direction of the element member.
[0017] In the fourth disclosure, the rigidity of the rigid body is uniform along the extension direction of the element member, which makes the fabric body structure less likely to buckle and improves the operability of the slide fastener.
[0018] In a fifth disclosure, in the first or second disclosure, the slide fastener includes an upper stop and a lower stop. The rigid body extends continuously along the extension direction of the element member. The rigid body is configured so that the width dimension of the rigid body decreases from the vicinity of a position corresponding to the upper stop or the lower stop along the extension direction of the element member.
[0019] In the fifth disclosure, the rigidity of the rigid body at the position corresponding to the top stop or the bottom stop in the extension direction of the element member is relatively increased. This makes it less likely for the fabric body structure to buckle when the user pulls the slider down from the position corresponding to the top stop or pulls it up from the position corresponding to the bottom stop. As a result, the operability of the slide fastener can be improved and the discomfort felt when opening and closing the slide fastener can be reduced.
[0020] In a sixth disclosure, in the first or second disclosure, the slide fastener includes an upper stop and a lower stop, and the rigid body is disposed from a position corresponding to the upper stop or the lower stop to a position corresponding to a midpoint of the element member.
[0021] In the sixth disclosure, the fabric body structure is less likely to buckle in the range from the vicinity of the position corresponding to the top stop or bottom stop to the position corresponding to the middle part of the element member, thereby efficiently improving the operability of the slide fastener.
[0022] In a seventh disclosure, in the first or second disclosure, the rigid body is composed of a first rigid body and a second rigid body. The first rigid body is disposed on the side where the first fabric portion is located. The second rigid body is disposed on the side where the second fabric portion is located.
[0023] In this seventh disclosure, the rigidity of the fabric structure can be increased on both the side where the first fabric portion is located and the side where the second fabric portion is located.
[0024] The eighth disclosure is the seventh disclosure, wherein the first rigid body and the second rigid body are arranged at positions that are symmetrical to each other with respect to an imaginary center line of the element member that extends in the extension direction.
[0025] In the eighth disclosure, the portion of the fabric structure where it is desired to increase the rigidity in the stretching direction of the element member can be appropriately adjusted based on the shape and position of each of the first rigid body and the second rigid body.
[0026] In a ninth disclosure, in the seventh disclosure, the first rigid body and the second rigid body are arranged at positions that are point-symmetric with respect to a center position in the extension direction of the element member.
[0027] In the ninth disclosure, the portion of the fabric structure where it is desired to increase the rigidity in the stretching direction of the element member can be appropriately adjusted based on the shape and position of each of the first rigid body and the second rigid body.
[0028] A tenth disclosure is the first or second disclosure, wherein the rigid body is made up of a plurality of rigid portions.
[0029] In the tenth disclosure, the rigidity of the fabric structure is improved by the plurality of rigid portions, and the flexibility of the fabric structure can also be appropriately ensured.
[0030] In an eleventh disclosure, in the first or second disclosure, the slide fastener includes a pair of fastener tapes, and the rigid body is provided on at least one of the pair of fastener tapes.
[0031] In the eleventh disclosure, similarly to the first or second disclosure described above, it is possible to improve the operability of the slide fastener while suppressing buckling of the fabric body structure.
[0032] A twelfth disclosure is the first or second disclosure, wherein at least one of the first fabric portion and the second fabric portion is provided with a housing portion for housing a rigid body.
[0033] In the twelfth disclosure, as long as the rigid body is housed in the housing portion, the operability of the slide fastener can be improved while suppressing buckling of the fabric body structure, as in the first or second disclosure described above. Furthermore, when the rigid body is not needed, it can be appropriately removed from the housing portion.
[0034] As described above, according to the present disclosure, it is possible to improve the operability of the slide fastener while suppressing buckling of the fabric body structure.

[0036] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present disclosure will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. The following description of the embodiments is merely exemplary in nature and is not intended to limit the present disclosure, its applications, or its uses.
[0037] 1 shows the entirety of a fabric body structure 1 with a slide fastener according to an embodiment of the present invention (hereinafter simply referred to as "fabric body structure 1"). This fabric body structure 1 can be applied to various products such as clothing, shoes, and bags.
[0038] As shown in FIG. 1, the fabric body structure 1 includes a fabric body 2, a slide fastener 10, and rigid bodies 20, 20.
[0039] In the following description, "top" shown in Fig. 1 corresponds to the side where the top stop 17 (described later) of the slide fastener 10 is located. "Bottom" shown in Fig. 1 corresponds to the side where the bottom stop 18 (described later) of the slide fastener 10 is located. "Left" shown in Fig. 1 corresponds to the side where the first fabric portion 3 (described later) is located. "Right" shown in Fig. 1 corresponds to the side where the second fabric portion 4 (described later) is located. Note that these positional relationships are unrelated to the orientation of the fabric body structure 1 or a product to which the fabric body structure 1 is applied in actual use.
[0040] 1, the fabric body 2 has a first fabric part 3 and a second fabric part 4. Examples of materials for the first and second fabric parts 3 and 4 include linen, cloth, synthetic fibers, silk, and leather. Examples of leather include natural leather, synthetic leather, and artificial leather.
[0041] The first fabric portion 3 is disposed on the left side of the slide fastener 10. The second fabric portion 4 is disposed on the right side of the slide fastener 10.
[0042] The peripheral edge 3a of the first fabric portion 3 and the peripheral edge 4a of the second fabric portion 4 face each other in the left-right direction. Specifically, the peripheral edge 3a of the first fabric portion 3 and the peripheral edge 4a of the second fabric portion 4 are arranged so as to be spaced apart from each other in the left-right direction with the element member 12 sandwiched therebetween.
[0043] (Slide fastener) The slide fastener 10 is a member for freely opening and closing the peripheral edge 3 a of the first fabric portion 3 and the peripheral edge 4 a of the second fabric portion 4. As shown in Fig. 1 , the slide fastener 10 has a pair of fastener tapes 11, 11, an element member 12, a slider 14, an upper stop 17, and a lower stop 18.
[0044] The slide fasteners 10 are attached to the peripheral edge 3a of the first fabric portion 3 and the peripheral edge 4a of the second fabric portion 4. Specifically, the fastener tape 11 located on the left side of the paper in Fig. 1 is attached to the peripheral edge 3a of the first fabric portion 3. The fastener tape 11 located on the right side of the paper in Fig. 1 is attached to the peripheral edge 4a of the second fabric portion 4.
[0045] In this embodiment, each fastener tape 11 is sewn to each of the peripheral edge 3 a of the first fabric portion 3 and the peripheral edge 4 a of the second fabric portion 4. Note that each fastener tape 11 may be adhesively or pressure-bonded to each of the peripheral edge 3 a of the first fabric portion 3 and the peripheral edge 4 a of the second fabric portion 4.
[0046] The element member 12 is made up of a plurality of elements 13. The plurality of elements 13 are arranged on the periphery of each fastener tape 11. The plurality of elements 13 are arranged at intervals along the longitudinal direction of each fastener tape 11 (the vertical direction on the paper surface of FIG. 1 ). Note that, although this embodiment exemplifies a configuration in which the total length L of the element member 12 is slightly longer than a second length L2 described later, the total length L may be equal to or shorter than the second length L2.
[0047] The slider 14 includes a slider body 15 and a pull tab 16. The slider body 15 is configured so that the length in the extension direction of the element member 12 is a first length L1.
[0048] 1, the rigid bodies 20 are arranged in the vicinity of the element member 12. The rigid bodies 20 are arranged along the extension direction of the element member 12. In this embodiment, the rigid bodies 20 extend in a substantially strip-like shape along the extension direction of the element member 12.
[0049] In this embodiment, the rigid bodies 20, 20 are arranged from near the position corresponding to the top stop 17 to near the position corresponding to the bottom stop 18. The rigid bodies 20, 20 extend continuously along the extension direction of the element member 12. Each rigid body 20 is configured so that the width dimension W of each rigid body 20 is the same size along the extension direction of the element member 12 from near the position corresponding to the top stop 17 to near the position corresponding to the bottom stop 18.
[0050] Preferably, the rigid bodies 20, 20 are made of a material having greater rigidity than the fabric body 2 or a material having the same rigidity as the fabric body 2. Examples of the rigid bodies 20, 20 include resin materials, embroidery structures, patches, tapes, polyurethane (PU), rubber materials, and nonwoven fabrics. Note that even when a material having a relatively small longitudinal elastic modulus E3 (described below) is used as the rigid body 20, the rigidity of each rigid body 20 can be relatively increased by appropriately increasing the second moment of area I3 (described below) which depends on the shape of each rigid body 20.
[0051] The rigid bodies 20, 20 are composed of a first rigid body 21 and a second rigid body 22 (see FIG. 1 ). The first rigid body 21 is arranged on the side of the fabric body structure 1 where the first fabric portion 3 is located. The second rigid body 22 is arranged on the side of the fabric body structure 1 where the second fabric portion 4 is located. In this embodiment, the first rigid body 21 is attached to the first fabric portion 3 by an appropriate method such as sewing, bonding, or crimping. The second rigid body 22 is attached to the second fabric portion 4 by an appropriate method such as sewing, bonding, or crimping. The first rigid body 21 may be detachably attached to the first fabric portion 3. The second rigid body 22 may also be detachably attached to the second fabric portion 4.
[0052] In this embodiment, the width dimension W of the first rigid body 21 and the width dimension W of the second rigid body 22 are the same. However, the width dimension W of the first rigid body 21 and the width dimension W of the second rigid body 22 may be different from each other.
[0053] In this embodiment, the first rigid body 21 and the second rigid body 22 are arranged at positions that are line-symmetric with each other about an imaginary center line CL that extends in the extension direction of the element member 12. The first rigid body 21 and the second rigid body 22 are also arranged at positions that are point-symmetric with each other about a center position Sp of the element member 12 in the extension direction.
[0054] (Characteristic Configuration) Each rigid body 20 is configured so that the length in the extension direction of the element member 12 is a second length L2. The second length L2 is configured so as to be longer than the first length L1, which corresponds to the length of the slider body 15. Specifically, the second length L2 is five times or more longer than the first length L1.
[0055] The rigid bodies 20, 20 are configured so that the fabric body structure 1 does not buckle when a user operates the slider 14 of the slide fastener 10. Specifically, the inventors of the present disclosure have determined that the rigid bodies 20, 20 are configured to satisfy the condition expressed by the following mathematical formula (1) based on a general formula for buckling (so-called Euler's formula). In the fabric body structure 1, when the slide fastener 10 is opened or closed, the position corresponding to the bottom stop 18 is the fixed end, while the position corresponding to the top stop 17 is the free end. In other words, in the embodiment of the present disclosure, Euler's formula is applied when one end is the fixed end and the other end is the free end.
[0056] [Equation 1] E3 × I3 ≧ (Pc × 4L 2 ) / π 2 -(E1 x I1 + E2 x I2) (1) In the above formula (1), E1 is the modulus of longitudinal elasticity of the fabric body 2. I1 is the second moment of area of the fabric body 2. E2 is the modulus of longitudinal elasticity of the slide fastener 10. I2 is the second moment of area of the slide fastener 10. E3 is the modulus of longitudinal elasticity of the rigid body 20. I3 is the second moment of area of the rigid body 20. Pc is the external force applied to the slider body 15 when the slider 14 is operated. L is the total length of the element member 12. π is the ratio of the circumference of the circumference to the circumference of the slider body 15.
[0057] Here, the concept of the above-mentioned "total length L" is not limited to the total length of an element member 12 extending linearly, but also includes the total length of an element member 12 extending non-linearly (not shown), such as an L-shape or curved shape, and the total length of an element member 12 formed in an uneven shape (not shown) in a direction corresponding to the front and back directions of the fabric body 2.
[0058] In the above formula (1), generally, when one end is a fixed end and the other end is a free end, the end condition coefficient (n) expressed by Euler's formula is "1." As described above, the fabric body structure 1 according to this embodiment corresponds to the case where "one end is a fixed end and the other end is a free end." Therefore, in the above formula (1), the end condition coefficient (n) expressed by Euler's formula is omitted.
[0059] Furthermore, the following formula (2) is derived from the above formula (1).
[0060] [Equation 2] E1 × I1 + E2 × I2 + E3 × I3 ≧ (Pc × 4L 2 ) / π 2 (2) According to the above formula (2), by measuring the external force Pc applied to the slider body 15 when no buckling occurs during operation of the slider 14, it is possible to calculate the overall rigidity value of the fabric body structure 1 from the measured value of the external force Pc and the total length L of the element member 12. Furthermore, by subtracting the rigidity value of the fabric body 2 (E1 x I1) and the rigidity value of the slide fastener 10 (E2 x I2) from the overall rigidity value of the fabric body structure 1, it is possible to calculate the appropriate rigidity value of the rigid body 20 when no buckling occurs. Note that the above "external force Pc applied to the slider body 15" corresponds to the operating force when the user operates the slider 14 (hereinafter referred to as "operating force of the slider 14").
[0061] (Measurement of External Force Pc and Calculation of Rigidity Value in Fabric Body Structure) Next, with reference to FIG. 2, an example of measurement of external force Pc and calculation of rigidity value in fabric body structure 1 will be shown.
[0062] In the fabric body 2 to which the slide fastener 10 shown in Figure 2 was attached, the operating force (external force Pc) of the slider 14 when the fabric body 2 did not buckle was measured using a predetermined measuring device (see symbol M shown in Figure 2). In this measurement, the operating force (external force Pc) of the slider 14 corresponds to the external force when the slider 14 is pulled down from the position corresponding to the top stop 17 to the position corresponding to the bottom stop 18. A handy force gauge (for example, product number "HF-50" manufactured by Japan Measurement Systems Co., Ltd.) is suitable as the measuring device.
[0063] In this measurement, three types (types A to C) of slide fasteners 10 were prepared, and each type of slide fastener 10 was attached to a fabric body 2. Predetermined measurements were performed on each of the fabric bodies 2.
[0064] Here, the Type A slide fastener 10 requires a relatively light force to operate the slider 14. The Type A slide fastener 10 is used, for example, in fabrics that make up children's goods, such as children's clothes, cases, backpacks, and shoes.
[0065] The slide fastener 10 of type B has a medium operating force for the slider 14. That is, the operating force for the slider 14 of the slide fastener 10 of type B is positioned between that of types A and C.
[0066] The type C slide fastener 10 requires a relatively heavy force to operate the slider 14. The type C slide fastener 10 is used as a waterproof fastener for ski wear, for example.
[0067] The fabric body 2 used in this measurement does not have the rigid bodies 20, 20 attached. Meanwhile, in Figure 2, the positions where the fabric body 2 is fixed by a predetermined jig are indicated by four circular dashed lines (see symbol T in Figure 2). In this measurement, a state in which the fabric body 2 and the slide fastener 10 do not buckle when the slider 14 is operated using the predetermined jig is intentionally created. In other words, in this measurement, the force with which the predetermined jig fixes the fabric body 2 is regarded as the rigidity of the rigid body 20 when no buckling occurs.
[0068] In this measurement, one end of the string member S (a member not constituting the fabric body structure 1) shown in Figure 2 is attached to the pull tab 16 of the slider 14, and the other end of the string member S is attached to the tip of the measuring device M. In this state, the slider 14 is moved at a constant speed while keeping the measuring device M horizontal and aligning the center of the measuring device M in the width direction with the position of the element member 12. In this way, the operating force (external force Pc) of the slider 14 when the slider 14 is moved is measured.
[0069] The above measurement was carried out five times for the fabric body 2 to which each of the above-mentioned types of slide fastener 10 was attached, and the maximum value of the external force Pc was selected from the results. The measurement results are shown in Table 1 below.
[0070]
[0071] Furthermore, for the fabric body 2 to which each type of slide fastener 10 was attached, the overall rigidity value of the fabric body structure 1 was calculated from the maximum value of the external force Pc and the total length L of the element member 12 shown in Table 1 above. The calculation results are shown in Table 2 below.
[0072]
[0073] For example, for a fabric body 2 to which a type A slide fastener 10 is attached, if the sum of the rigidity of the fabric body 2 (E1 x I1) and the rigidity of the slide fastener 10 (E2 x I2) is 40,000 Ncm 2 In this hypothetical case, the total value (40,000 Ncm 2 ) into the above formula (1), "E3 x I3" becomes 13,000 Ncm2 That is, in the fabric body structure 1 to which the slide fastener 10 of type A is applied, the strength is 13,000 Ncm 2 By employing the rigid bodies 20, 20 having the above rigidity values, the fabric body structure 1 will not buckle.
[0074] Regarding the above-described measuring method, for example, if the overall length L of the element member 12 is relatively long, it is preferable to move the slider 14 by 10 cm or more. Also, if the slide fastener 10 is a so-called locking fastener, it is preferable to move the slider 14 while supporting the pull tab 16 with the measurer's hand so that the pull tab 16 does not fall over.
[0075] [Effects of the Embodiment] As described above, the rigid bodies 20, 20 are arranged near the element member 12 and along the extension direction of the element member 12. The second length L2 is at least five times the first length L1. By providing the rigid bodies 20, 20 in the fabric body structure 1, the rigidity of the fabric body structure 1 is improved near the element member 12 and in the extension direction of the element member 12. This makes the fabric body structure 1 less likely to buckle, for example, in the front-to-back direction of the fabric body 2 (i.e., the thickness direction of the fabric body 2) when the user operates the slider 14. As a result, the user can operate the slider 14 with one hand, improving the operability of the slide fastener 10. Therefore, in the embodiment of the present disclosure, the operability of the slide fastener 10 can be improved while suppressing buckling of the fabric body structure 1.
[0076] Furthermore, as described above, the rigid bodies 20, 20 are configured to satisfy the condition expressed by the above mathematical formula (1). In other words, by providing the fabric body structure 1 with the rigid bodies 20, 20 configured to satisfy the condition expressed by the above mathematical formula (1), the rigidity of the fabric body structure 1 is ensured in the vicinity of the element member 12 and in the extension direction of the element member 12. This makes it less likely for the fabric body structure 1 to buckle, for example, in the front-to-back direction of the fabric body 2 (i.e., the thickness direction of the fabric body 2) when the user operates the slider 14. As a result, the user can operate the slider 14 with one hand, improving the operability of the slide fastener 10. Therefore, the fabric body structure 1 can improve the operability of the slide fastener 10 while suppressing buckling of the fabric body structure 1.
[0077] Furthermore, the rigid bodies 20, 20 may be disposed near the position corresponding to the top stop 17 or near the position corresponding to the bottom stop 18. This increases the rigidity of the fabric body structure 1 near the position corresponding to the top stop 17 or near the position corresponding to the bottom stop 18. In this embodiment, the first rigid body 21 and the second rigid body 22 are both disposed near the position corresponding to the top stop 17 and near the position corresponding to the bottom stop 18.
[0078] Furthermore, the rigid bodies 20, 20 in this embodiment are arranged from the vicinity of the position corresponding to the top stop 17 to the vicinity of the position corresponding to the bottom stop 18. This improves the rigidity of the fabric body structure 1 over the entire length of the element member 12. Therefore, in this embodiment, the operability of the slide fastener 10 can be further improved.
[0079] In this embodiment, the rigid bodies 20, 20 extend continuously along the extension direction of the element member 12. Each rigid body 20 is configured so that its width dimension W is the same from the vicinity of a position corresponding to the top stop 17 or the bottom stop 18 along the extension direction of the element member 12. With this configuration, the rigidity of each rigid body 20 becomes uniform along the extension direction of the element member 12. This makes the fabric body structure 1 less likely to buckle, and improves the operability of the slide fastener 10.
[0080] Furthermore, the first rigid body 21, which is one of the rigid bodies 20, is arranged on the side of the fabric body structure 1 where the first fabric portion 3 is located. The second rigid body 22, which is the other rigid body 20, is arranged on the side of the fabric body structure 1 where the second fabric portion 4 is located. This makes it possible to increase the rigidity of both the side of the fabric body structure 1 where the first fabric portion 3 is located and the side where the second fabric portion 4 is located.
[0081] [First Modification of the Embodiment] In the above embodiment, the width dimension W of each rigid body 20 is the same from the vicinity of the position corresponding to the top stop 17 or the bottom stop 18 along the extension direction of the element member 12, but this is not limited to this. For example, as in the first modification shown in FIG. 3 , the width dimension W of the rigid body 20 may decrease from the vicinity of the position corresponding to the top stop 17 along the extension direction of the element member 12. In this modification, the width dimension W of each of the first and second rigid bodies 21, 22 is configured to taper from the vicinity of the position corresponding to the top stop 17 toward the vicinity of the position corresponding to the bottom stop 18. In this modification, each of the first and second rigid bodies 21, 22 has a triangular shape in a plan view, but this shape is not limited to this.
[0082] In this modification, the rigidity of each rigid body 20 at a position corresponding to the top stop 17 in the extension direction of the element member 12 is relatively increased. This makes it less likely for the fabric body structure 1 to buckle when the user pulls down the slider 14 from the position corresponding to the top stop 17. As a result, it is possible to improve operability when pulling down the slider 14 and reduce the discomfort felt when opening and closing the slide fastener.
[0083] In this modification, the first rigid body 21 and the second rigid body 22 are arranged at positions that are symmetrical to each other with respect to an imaginary center line CL extending in the extension direction of the element member 12. With this configuration, the portion of the fabric body structure 1 where the rigidity is to be increased in the extension direction of the element member 12 can be appropriately adjusted based on the shape and position of each of the first rigid body 21 and the second rigid body 22. In this modification, the rigidity of the position of the fabric body structure 1 corresponding to the top stop 17 is relatively increased due to the shape and position of each of the first and second rigid bodies 21, 22 described above.
[0084] [Modification 2 of the embodiment] In the above-described modification 1, the first rigid body 21 and the second rigid body 22 are arranged in positions that are line-symmetric with each other about the center line CL, but this is not limiting. For example, as in modification 2 shown in Fig. 4, the first rigid body 21 and the second rigid body 22 may be arranged in positions that are point-symmetric with each other about the center position Sp in the extension direction of the element member 12.
[0085] Specifically, in this modified example, the width dimension W of the first rigid body 21 tapers from the vicinity of the position corresponding to the top stop 17 toward the vicinity of the position corresponding to the bottom stop 18. In contrast, the width dimension W of the second rigid body 22 tapers from the vicinity of the position corresponding to the bottom stop 18 toward the vicinity of the position corresponding to the top stop 17. Note that in this modified example, each of the first and second rigid bodies 21, 22 has a triangular shape in a plan view, but is not limited to such a shape.
[0086] With this configuration, the portion of the fabric structure 1 where the rigidity is desired to be increased in the extension direction of the element member 12 can be appropriately adjusted based on the shape and position of each of the first rigid body 21 and the second rigid body 22.
[0087] In this modified example, on the side where the first fabric portion 3 is located, the rigidity at the position corresponding to the top stop 17 is relatively increased due to the shape and position of the first rigid body 21. On the other hand, on the side where the second fabric portion 4 is located, the rigidity at the position corresponding to the bottom stop 18 is relatively increased due to the shape and position of the second rigid body 22. As a result, in the fabric body structure 1, a balance is maintained between the rigidity of the side where the first fabric portion 3 is located and the rigidity of the side where the second fabric portion 4 is located.
[0088] [Modifications 3 to 6 of the embodiment] In the above embodiment and modifications 1 and 2, the rigid body 20 is disposed from near the position corresponding to the bottom stop 18 to near the position corresponding to the top stop 17, but this is not limiting. For example, as in modifications 3 to 6 shown in Figures 5 to 8, the rigid body 20 may be disposed from near the position corresponding to the top stop 17 or bottom stop 18 to a position corresponding to the middle of the element member 12. In this way, the fabric body structure 1 is less likely to buckle in the range from near the position corresponding to the top stop 17 or bottom stop 18 to a position corresponding to the middle of the element member 12, and the operability of the slide fastener 10 can be efficiently improved.
[0089] 5 , the first rigid body 21 is disposed on the side where the first fabric portion 3 is located, from near the position corresponding to the top stop 17 to a position corresponding to the middle of the element member 12. The second rigid body 22 is disposed on the side where the second fabric portion 4 is located, from near the position corresponding to the top stop 17 to a position corresponding to the middle of the element member 12. That is, in the third modification, the rigidity of the fabric body structure 1 is increased in the range from near the position corresponding to the top stop 17 to a position corresponding to the middle of the element member 12. Furthermore, the first and second rigid bodies 21, 22 have the same width W along the extension direction of the element member 12, from near the position corresponding to the top stop 17. Furthermore, the first and second rigid bodies 21, 22 are disposed in positions that are symmetrical to each other with respect to the center line CL.
[0090] In Modification 4 shown in Fig. 6, the first rigid body 21 is arranged from near a position corresponding to the top stop 17 on the side where the first fabric portion 3 is located to a position corresponding to the middle of the element member 12. The second rigid body 22 is arranged from near a position corresponding to the bottom stop 18 on the side where the second fabric portion 4 is located to a position corresponding to the middle of the element member 12. The first and second rigid bodies 21, 22 are configured so that their width dimensions W are the same from near a position corresponding to the top stop 17 or the bottom stop 18 along the extension direction of the element member 12. The first and second rigid bodies 21, 22 are arranged in positions that are point-symmetric with respect to the center position Sp of the element member 12 in the extension direction.
[0091] In Modification 4 shown in Fig. 7 , the first rigid body 21 is arranged on the side where the first fabric portion 3 is located, from near the position corresponding to the top stop 17 to a position corresponding to the middle of the element member 12. The second rigid body 22 is arranged on the side where the second fabric portion 4 is located, from near the position corresponding to the top stop 17 to a position corresponding to the middle of the element member 12. The first and second rigid bodies 21, 22 are configured so that their respective width dimensions W decrease from near the position corresponding to the top stop 17 toward the position corresponding to the middle of the element member 12. Furthermore, the first and second rigid bodies 21, 22 are arranged in positions that are line-symmetrical to each other with respect to the center line CL.
[0092] In Modification 5 shown in Fig. 8, the first rigid body 21 is arranged on the side where the first fabric portion 3 is located, from near the position corresponding to the top stop 17 to a position corresponding to the middle of the element member 12. The second rigid body 22 is arranged on the side where the second fabric portion 4 is located, from near the position corresponding to the bottom stop 18 to a position corresponding to the middle of the element member 12. The first and second rigid bodies 21, 22 are configured so that their respective width dimensions W become smaller from near the position corresponding to the top stop 17 or the bottom stop 18 toward the position corresponding to the middle of the element member 12. Furthermore, the first and second rigid bodies 21, 22 are arranged in positions that are point-symmetric with respect to the center position Sp of the element member 12 in the extension direction.
[0093] [Seventh Modification of the Embodiment] In the above embodiment, the rigid bodies 20, 20 extend continuously along the extension direction of the element member 12, but the present invention is not limited to this.
[0094] For example, as in Modification 7 shown in Fig. 9, each of the first and second rigid bodies 21, 22 is made up of a plurality of rigid portions 23. In this modification, the plurality of rigid portions 23 improves the rigidity of the fabric body structure, and also ensures an appropriate degree of flexibility as a fabric body structure.
[0095] In this modification, the rigid portions 23 may be arranged side by side along the extension direction of the element member 12. The rigid portions 23 have the same size and shape. Each rigid portion 23 has a substantially elliptical shape in a plan view.
[0096] On the side where the first fabric portion 3 is located, ten rigid portions 23 are arranged near the peripheral edge 3a of the first fabric portion 3, from near the position corresponding to the top stop 17 to a position corresponding to the middle of the element member 12. The first rigid body 21 is configured so that the number of rigid portions 23 arranged in the extension direction of the element member 12 gradually decreases from the peripheral edge 3a of the first fabric portion 3 toward the left side of the paper in Figure 9.
[0097] In this modified example, the first and second rigid bodies 21 and 22 are arranged at positions that are symmetrical with respect to each other with respect to the center line CL. Details of the second rigid body 22 are omitted.
[0098] In Modification 7, as described above, the multiple rigid portions 23 are arranged side by side along the extension direction of the element member 12. This makes it possible to appropriately adjust the rigidity of each of the first and second rigid bodies 21, 22 in the extension direction of the element member 12. As a result, even with the configuration according to Modification 7, the fabric body structure 1 is less likely to buckle, and the operability of the slide fastener 10 can be improved.
[0099] 9 shows a configuration in which the first and second rigid bodies 21, 22 are arranged at positions that are line-symmetric with respect to each other about the center line CL, but the present invention is not limited to this. That is, in Modification 7, the first and second rigid bodies 21, 22 may also be arranged at positions that are point-symmetric with respect to the center position Sp of the element member 12 in the extension direction.
[0100] [Variation 8 of the embodiment] In addition, although Variation 7 has shown a configuration in which the plurality of rigid portions 23 have the same size and shape, this is not limiting. That is, as in Variation 8 shown in Fig. 10, the plurality of rigid portions 23 may have different sizes and shapes.
[0101] Furthermore, each rigid portion 23 does not have to have a substantially elliptical shape in plan view. For example, as in Modification 8, each rigid portion 23 may have a rectangular shape in plan view.
[0102] In the eighth modification, the plurality of rigid portions 23 are arranged side by side in a direction perpendicular to the extension direction of the element members 12. With this configuration, the rigidity of the fabric body structure 1 can be increased also in the direction perpendicular to the extension direction of the element members 12.
[0103] In the configuration illustrated in Fig. 10, five rigid portions 23 are aligned in a direction perpendicular to the extension direction of the element member 12 near the position corresponding to the top stop 17. That is, in the configuration illustrated in Fig. 10, the rigidity of the fabric body structure 1 is increased in the direction perpendicular to the extension direction of the element member 12 near the position corresponding to the top stop 17. This makes it less likely for the fabric body structure 1 to buckle when the user pulls down the slider 14 from the position corresponding to the top stop 17. That is, the operability when pulling down the slider 14 can be improved.
[0104] [Modification 9 of the embodiment] In the above embodiment, the first rigid body 21 is attached to the first fabric portion 3 and the second rigid body 22 is attached to the second fabric portion 4, but the present invention is not limited to this. That is, as in Modification 9 shown in Fig. 11 , each of the first and second rigid bodies 21, 22 may be provided for each fastener tape 11. For example, each of the first and second rigid bodies 21, 22 is made of a resin material that is applied to each fastener tape 11 and solidified.
[0105] Even with the configuration according to this modification, the rigidity of the fabric body structure 1 is improved in the vicinity of the element member 12 and in the extension direction of the element member 12, as in the above embodiment. This makes it less likely for the fabric body structure 1 to buckle when the user operates the slider 14. As a result, the user can operate the slider 14 with one hand, improving the operability of the slide fastener 10. Although not shown, the multiple rigid portions 23 exemplified in the above modification 8 may be provided on each fastener tape 11.
[0106] [Modification 10 of the embodiment] Furthermore, as in modification 10 shown in Figure 12, storage sections 30, 30 for storing the rigid body 20 may be provided on the side where the first fabric section 3 is located and the side where the second fabric section 4 is located.
[0107] Specifically, in this modification, one storage section 30 is arranged on the front side of the first dough section 3, and the other storage section 30 is arranged on the front side of the second dough section 4. Each storage section 30 is formed, for example, in the shape of a pocket that is open at the top.
[0108] In this modified example, if the first and second rigid bodies 21, 22 are each housed in the respective housing sections 30, then, similarly to the above embodiment, buckling of the fabric body structure 1 can be suppressed while improving the operability of the slide fastener 10. Furthermore, when the first and second rigid bodies 21, 22 are not needed, it is also possible to appropriately remove each of the first and second rigid bodies 21, 22 from each housing section 30. That is, in this modified example, each of the first and second rigid bodies 21, 22 is configured to be detachable from each housing section 30.
[0109] 12 shows a configuration in which each storage section 30 is disposed on the front side of the first fabric section 3 and the front side of the second fabric section 4, but this is not limiting. For example, the storage section 30 may be disposed on only one of the front side of the first fabric section 3 and the front side of the second fabric section 4. Furthermore, although not shown, each storage section 30 may be disposed on the back side of the first fabric section 3 and the back side of the second fabric section 4. Furthermore, the storage section 30 may be disposed on only one of the back side of the first fabric section 3 and the back side of the second fabric section 4.
[0110] 12 shows a configuration in which the storage sections 30, 30 are arranged in the first fabric portion 3 and the second fabric portion 4, but this is not limiting. Although not shown, each storage section 30 may be provided in the fastener tape 11 on the side where the first fabric portion 3 is located and in the fastener tape 11 on the side where the second fabric portion 4 is located. Alternatively, the storage section 30 may be arranged in only one of the fastener tape 11 on the side where the first fabric portion 3 is located and the fastener tape 11 on the side where the second fabric portion 4 is located. Note that the storage sections 30, 30 may be arranged on at least either the front side or the back side of the fastener tape 11.
[0111] 13, each rigid body 20 may be disposed on both the side corresponding to the front surface and the side corresponding to the back surface of the fabric body 2. Even with the configuration according to the 11th modification, as in the above embodiment, it is possible to improve the operability of the slide fastener 10 while suppressing buckling of the fabric body structure 1.
[0112] In this modified example, the first rigid body 21 has a front surface portion 21a, a back surface portion 21b, and a folded-back portion 21c. The front surface portion 21a, the back surface portion 21b, and the folded-back portion 21c are integrally formed. The front surface portion 21a is disposed on the front side of the first fabric portion 3. The back surface portion 21b is disposed on the back side of the first fabric portion 3. The back surface portion 21b is configured so that a portion corresponding to the second length L2 shown in FIG. 1 is located near the element member 12 in a direction perpendicular to the extension direction of the element member 12 (the left-right direction on the paper surface of FIG. 13).
[0113] The folded-back portion 21c is located at a position corresponding to the lower part of the first fabric portion 3. That is, the first rigid body 21 of this modified example is configured so that, with the folded-back portion 21c folded in the vertical direction at a position corresponding to the lower part of the first fabric portion 3, the front surface portion 21a is located on the front side of the first fabric portion 3 and the back surface portion 21b is located on the back side of the first fabric portion 3. In this configuration, the front surface portion 21a is located near a position corresponding to the bottom stop 18.
[0114] The second rigid body 22 has a front surface portion 22a, a back surface portion 22b, and a folded-back portion 22c. The front surface portion 22a, the back surface portion 22b, and the folded-back portion 22c are integrally formed. The front surface portion 22a is disposed on the front side of the second fabric portion 4. The back surface portion 22b is disposed on the back side of the second fabric portion 4. The back surface portion 22b is configured so that a portion corresponding to the second length L2 shown in FIG. 1 is located near the element member 12 in a direction perpendicular to the extension direction of the element member 12 (the left-right direction on the paper surface of FIG. 13).
[0115] The folded-back portion 22c is disposed at a position corresponding to the lower part of the second fabric portion 4. That is, the second rigid body 22 of this modified example is configured so that, with the folded-back portion 22c folded in the vertical direction at a position corresponding to the lower part of the second fabric portion 4, the front surface portion 22a is located on the front side of the second fabric portion 4 and the back surface portion 22b is located on the back side of the second fabric portion 4. In this configuration, the front surface portion 22a is located near the position corresponding to the bottom stop 18.
[0116] In this modified example, the back surfaces 21b and 22b are configured so that the portion corresponding to the second length L2 shown in Fig. 1 is located near the element member 12. With this configuration, as in the above embodiment, it is possible to improve the operability of the slide fastener 10 while suppressing buckling of the fabric body structure 1.
[0117] The first rigid body 21 is configured such that the front surface portion 21a and the back surface portion 21b overlap in the thickness direction of the first fabric body 3. The overlapping portion between the front surface portion 21a and the back surface portion 21b is located near the element member 12. This further increases the rigidity of the first rigid body 21 near the element member 12. The second rigid body 22 is configured in the same manner as the first rigid body 21.
[0118] Here, in the first rigid body 21 illustrated in FIG. 13 , the front surface portion 21 a is shorter in the vertical direction than the back surface portion 21 b, but this configuration is not limited thereto. For example, the front surface portion 21 a may be longer in the vertical direction than the back surface portion 21 b. Alternatively, the front surface portion 21 a may have the same length in the vertical direction as the back surface portion 21 b. In such a case, it is sufficient that at least one of the front surface portion 21 a and the back surface portion 21 b is configured so that a portion corresponding to the second length L2 shown in FIG. 1 is located near the element member 12. The second rigid body 22 is similar to the first rigid body 21.
[0119] Although not shown, the first rigid body 21 may be configured such that the folded-back portion 21c is folded back in the vertical direction at a position corresponding to the upper portion of the first fabric portion 3. The second rigid body 22 is similar to the first rigid body 21.
[0120] Furthermore, although not shown, the first rigid body 21 in this modified example may be provided on the fastener tape 11 on the side where the first fabric portion 3 is located. The second rigid body 22 may also be provided on the fastener tape 11 on the side where the second fabric portion 4 is located.
[0121] 13 has a front portion 21a, a back portion 21b, and a folded portion 21c, but it does not have to have the folded portion 21c. Although not shown, the first rigid body 21 may be configured so that the front portion 21a and the back portion 21b are separate from each other. Even with this configuration, it is possible to arrange them on both the side corresponding to the front surface and the side corresponding to the back surface of the first fabric portion 3. The second rigid body 22 is similar to the first rigid body 21.
[0122] [Other Embodiments] In the above embodiment and each of the above modified examples, the fabric body structure 1 has been shown to include the first rigid body 21 and the second rigid body 22, but is not limited to this. Although not shown, the fabric body structure 1 may include at least one of the first rigid body 21 and the second rigid body 22. In other words, even in a form including at least one of the first rigid body 21 and the second rigid body 22, it is sufficient that the fabric body structure 1 is configured to be able to suppress buckling while improving the operability of the slide fastener 10.
[0123] Although the embodiments of the present disclosure have been described above, the present disclosure is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and various modifications are possible within the scope of the present disclosure.
[0124] The present disclosure is industrially applicable to fabric structures with slide fasteners suitable for various products such as clothing, shoes, and bags.
