Description

Heat source unit and refrigeration cycle device

[0001] The present disclosure relates to a heat source unit and a refrigeration cycle device.

[0002] In a heat pump type air conditioner, the compressor housed inside the outdoor unit is a noise source. Patent Document 1 discloses a heat pump type air conditioner in which the compressor is covered with a soundproof box.

[0003] Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2005-241197

[0004] Because multiple pipes and wires are connected to the compressor, the conventional configuration of covering the compressor with a soundproof box had the problem of requiring labor-intensive steps to assemble the soundproof box during installation and to remove the soundproof box during maintenance.

[0005] An object of the present disclosure is to provide a soundproof structure for a heat source unit having a compressor that can be easily assembled during installation and easily removed during maintenance.

[0006] A first aspect of the present disclosure is a heat source unit (20) having a machine chamber (S1) in which at least a compressor (30) is disposed. A sound-insulating member (60) is fixed to at least a part of plates (27b, 27c, 28) that define the machine chamber (S1). A space (61) is provided between the plates (27b, 27c, 28) and the sound-insulating member (60).

[0007] In the first aspect, since the sound insulating member (60) is fixed to the plates (27b, 27c, 28) that define the machine room (S1), assembly at the time of installation and removal at the time of maintenance can be easily performed. Furthermore, since the compressor (30) is doubly covered by the plates (27b, 27c, 28) and the sound insulating member (60), sound insulation performance against noise from the compressor (30) is improved.

[0008] A second aspect of the present disclosure is the first aspect, wherein the plate material (27b, 27c, 28) includes a plurality of plate-shaped portions (27b, 27c, 28) configured to be able to be combined, and the sound-insulating member (60) is fixed to at least one of the plurality of plate-shaped portions (27b, 27c, 28).

[0009] In the second aspect, the sound insulating member (60) can be assembled and disassembled more easily together with the plurality of plate-like portions (27b, 27c, 28), and therefore the number of steps required for installation and maintenance can be significantly reduced.

[0010] A third aspect of the present disclosure is the first or second aspect, wherein the sound insulating member (60) is fixed to the plate (27b, 27c, 28) via a first vibration isolating member (63).

[0011] In the third aspect, it is possible to attenuate vibrations propagating from the plates (27b, 27c, 28) defining the machine room (S1) to the sound-insulating member (60), thereby suppressing noise generated by vibration of the sound-insulating member (60) itself.

[0012] A fourth aspect of the present disclosure is the air conditioner according to any one of the first to third aspects, wherein a first sound absorbing material (71) is provided in the space (61).

[0013] In the fourth aspect, the first sound-absorbing material (71) is arranged between the plate material (27b, 27c, 28) that divides the machine room (S1) and the sound-insulating member (60), thereby suppressing the reduction in transmission loss due to the low-frequency resonance transmission phenomenon compared to when the first sound-absorbing material (71) is not provided in the space (61).

[0014] A fifth aspect of the present disclosure is any one of the first to fourth aspects, further comprising a second vibration-isolating member (41) that supports the compressor (30), a first support member (32) that supports the second vibration-isolating member (41), a third vibration-isolating member (42) that supports the first support member (32), and a second support member (27a) that supports the third vibration-isolating member (42).

[0015] In the fifth aspect, the compressor (30) is supported by a double vibration-isolating structure, and therefore, vibrations of the compressor (30) can be prevented from being transmitted to the bottom of the machine room (S1).

[0016] A sixth aspect of the present disclosure is any one of the first to fifth aspects, wherein the sound-proofing member (60) is fixed to the plate (27b, 27c, 28) on an inner side of the machine room (S1).

[0017] In the sixth aspect, the heat source unit (20) can be made smaller in size than when the sound insulating member (60) is fixed to the plate members (27b, 27c, 28) on the outer side of the machine room (S1).

[0018] A seventh aspect of the present disclosure is the sixth aspect, wherein, inside the machine room (S1), the sound-proofing member (60) covers the compressor (30) so as to define an accommodation space (5) that accommodates the compressor (30).

[0019] In the seventh aspect, the sound insulating member (60) covers the compressor (30) so as to define the accommodation space (5) for the compressor (30), thereby further improving the sound insulating performance against noise from the compressor (30).

[0020] An eighth aspect of the present disclosure is the sixth or seventh aspect, wherein a second sound absorbing material (72) is provided on the sound insulating member (60) on the side opposite to the plate material (27b, 27c, 28).

[0021] In the eighth aspect, the second sound-absorbing material (72) is disposed between the sound-insulating member (60) and the compressor (30), thereby attenuating the sound pressure level of the sound emitted by the compressor (30), thereby preventing the sound reflected by the sound-insulating member (60) from building up and becoming louder.

[0022] A ninth aspect of the present disclosure is related to any one of the first to fifth aspects, wherein the sound-proof member (60) is fixed to the plate (27b, 27c) on an outer side of the machine room (S1).

[0023] In the ninth aspect, a larger space can be secured for the machine room (S1) than in the case where the sound insulating member (60) is fixed to the plate members (27b, 27c) on the inner side of the machine room (S1).

[0024] A tenth aspect of the present disclosure is the ninth aspect, wherein a second sound absorbing material (72) is provided on the plate (27b, 27c) on an inner side of the machine room (S1).

[0025] In the tenth aspect, the second sound-absorbing material (72) is disposed between the plate members (27b, 27c) and the compressor (30), thereby attenuating the sound pressure level of the sound emitted by the compressor (30), thereby preventing the sound reflected by the plate members (27b, 27c) from building up and becoming louder.

[0026] An eleventh aspect of the present disclosure is a refrigeration cycle device including a heat source unit (20) according to any one of the first to tenth aspects and a refrigerant circuit (2) to which the heat source unit (20) is connected.

[0027] In the eleventh aspect, a soundproof structure for the compressor (30) can be applied that allows easy assembly at the time of installation and easy removal at the time of maintenance.

[0029] Hereinafter, embodiments of the present disclosure will be described with reference to the drawings. Note that the following embodiments are essentially preferred examples and are not intended to limit the scope of the present invention, its applications, or its uses. In addition, the same reference numerals in the drawings represent the same components, but dimensions in the drawings, such as length, width, thickness, and depth, have been appropriately changed from the actual scale for clarity and simplification of the drawings, and may not correspond to the actual relative dimensions.

[0030] (First Embodiment) <Refrigeration Cycle Apparatus> As shown in Fig. 1 , a refrigeration cycle apparatus (1) includes an air conditioning unit (10) and an outdoor unit (20). The outdoor unit (20) is a heat source unit of the refrigeration cycle apparatus (1). The outdoor unit (20) is connected to a refrigerant circuit (2). The refrigerant circuit (2) is filled with, for example, a flammable natural refrigerant. The refrigerant circuit (2) performs a refrigeration cycle by circulating the refrigerant.

[0031] <Air Conditioning Equipment Unit> The air conditioning equipment unit (10) includes an air conditioning equipment (11). The air conditioning equipment (11) is connected to a fluid circuit (12). A temperature-adjusting fluid flows through the fluid circuit (12). The temperature-adjusting fluid is, for example, water. The air conditioning equipment (11) is installed in an indoor space to be air-conditioned.

[0032] The fluid circuit (12) is configured by connecting the air conditioner (11), a fluid pump (16), and a water heat exchanger (15) through fluid piping (17). The fluid pump (16) circulates water in the fluid circuit (12).

[0033] <Outdoor Unit> The outdoor unit (20) includes a water heat exchanger (15), an outdoor heat exchanger (21), an outdoor fan (22), an outdoor expansion valve (23), a four-way switching valve (24), an accumulator (25), and a compressor (30). The outdoor heat exchanger (21), the outdoor expansion valve (23), the four-way switching valve (24), and the compressor (30) are connected by a pipe (26). A refrigerant flows through the pipe (26).

[0034] The outdoor heat exchanger (21) is, for example, a cross-fin type fin-and-tube heat exchanger. In the outdoor heat exchanger (21), heat is exchanged between the refrigerant flowing through the outdoor heat exchanger (21) and the air blown by the outdoor fan (22). The outdoor expansion valve (23) is, for example, an electronic expansion valve.

[0035] The compressor (30) is a rotary compressor such as a scroll compressor. A four-way switching valve (24) is connected to a pipe (26) on the discharge side of the compressor (30). An accumulator (25) is connected to a pipe (26) on the suction side of the compressor (30).

[0036] The water heat exchanger (15) is connected to a pipe (26) of the refrigerant circuit (2). The water heat exchanger (15) exchanges heat between the refrigerant flowing through the pipe (26) and the water flowing through the fluid pipe (17).

[0037] The four-way switching valve (24) has a first port (P1), a second port (P2), a third port (P3), and a fourth port (P4). The four-way switching valve (24) is in a state where the first port (P1) communicates with the third port (P3) and where the second port (P2) communicates with the fourth port (P4) (the state shown by the solid lines in FIG. 1).

[0038] The air conditioner (11) is a heat exchanger that functions as a radiator for a temperature-control fluid circulating through the fluid circuit (12). The air conditioner (11) is an example of a temperature-control target. Specifically, the air conditioner (11) is a radiator, a floor heating / cooling panel, or the like. For example, if the air conditioner (11) is a radiator, the air conditioner (11) is installed near a wall or the like in a room. For example, if the air conditioner (11) is a floor heating / cooling panel, the air conditioner (11) is installed under the floor or the like in the room.

[0039] <Internal Configuration of Outdoor Unit> As shown in FIG. 2 , the outdoor unit (20) has a main casing (27). The main casing (27) is made of a sound-insulating material, such as a metal plate. The main casing (27) includes a bottom plate (27a), side plates (27b), and a top plate (27c) that can be assembled into, for example, a box shape. A partition member (28) is disposed upright inside the main casing (27). The partition member (28) is made of, for example, a metal plate. The partition member (28) divides the interior of the main casing (27) into a machine chamber (S1) and a blower chamber (S2). That is, the machine chamber (S1) and the blower chamber (S2) are respectively defined by combining the bottom plate (27a), side plates (27b), and top plate (27c) that constitute the main casing (27) with the partition member (28).

[0040] The machine room (S1) is a space inside the main casing (27) to the right of the partition member (28) in Fig. 2. The machine room (S1) accommodates a compressor (30), a water heat exchanger (15), a four-way switching valve (24), an accumulator (25), and pipes (26).

[0041] The compressor (30) has support legs (31). The support legs (31) are supported by a plurality of first vibration-isolating members (41). The first vibration-isolating members (41) are made of, for example, rubber or urethane. The first vibration-isolating members (41) are supported by the bottom plate (27a) of the main casing (27).

[0042] The accumulator (25) is supported by a stay (not shown) at a position spaced apart from the bottom plate (27a) of the main casing (27).

[0043] The fan chamber (S2) is a space inside the main casing (27) to the left of the partition member (28) in Fig. 2. The outdoor fan (22) and the outdoor heat exchanger (21) are disposed in the fan chamber (S2).

[0044] <Soundproofing Structure for Compressor> In this embodiment, in order to improve sound insulation against noise from the compressor (30), as shown in FIG. 2 , sound-insulating members (60) are fixed to the side plates (27b) and top plates (27c) of the main casing (27) that define the machine chamber (S1), and to the partition member (28). The sound-insulating members (60) are disposed such that spaces (61) are formed between the side plates (27b), the top plate (27c), and the partition member (28). The sound-insulating members (60) are made of an air-impermeable member, such as a metal plate or a rubber sheet. The sound-insulating members (60) may have through holes, such as holes for the pipes (26).

[0045] The sound-insulating member (60) may cover the compressor (30) so as to define the storage space (5) that houses the compressor (30). Specifically, the sound-insulating member (60) may be provided on each of the side plate (27b) and the top plate (27c) of the main casing (27) that define the machine chamber (S1), and on the partition member (28), thereby surrounding the compressor (30) except for its bottom surface with a double sound-insulating wall structure. In this case, other components of the refrigerant circuit (2), such as the accumulator (25), may also be disposed in the storage space (5) defined by the sound-insulating member (60). This makes it possible to suppress leakage of the passing sound of the refrigerant flowing through the refrigerant circuit (2) to the outside.

[0046] Furthermore, sound-insulating members (60) may be selectively provided on the side plates (27b) and top plates (27c) of the main casing (27) and the partition member (28) depending on the directionality of the noise emitted by the compressor (30). For example, since the side plates (27b) and top plates (27c) of the main casing (27) face the outside, providing a sound-insulating member (60) thereon is more effective than providing a sound-insulating member (60) on the partition member (28) facing the blower chamber (S2). Therefore, the sound-insulating member (60) may not be provided on the partition member (28) but may be provided only on the side plates (27b) and top plate (27c) of the main casing (27). Furthermore, sound-insulating members (60) do not need to be provided in locations where the pipes (26) and the like are disposed.

[0047] <Fixing of Sound-Insulating Member> The method for fixing the sound-insulating member (60) to the side plate (27b) and the top plate (27c) of the main casing (27) and the partition member (28) is not particularly limited. For example, as shown in FIG. 3 , bolts may be used as fixing members (62), or the sound-insulating member (60) may be fixed by welding, caulking, rivets, or the like.

[0048] 3 shows variations in the manner in which the sound insulating member (60) is fixed to the side plate (27b) of the main casing (27). As shown in FIGS. 3(a) and 3(b), an end of the sound insulating member (60) may be bent and fixed to the side plate (27b) of the main casing (27) with a fixing member (62), thereby forming a space (61) between the side plate (27b) of the main casing (27) and the sound insulating member (60). Alternatively, as shown in FIGS. 3(c) and 3(d), an end of the side plate (27b) of the main casing (27) may be bent and the sound insulating member (60) may be fixed to the end with a fixing member (62), thereby forming a space (61) between the side plate (27b) of the main casing (27) and the sound insulating member (60).

[0049] In addition, Figure 3 shows, as an example, an embodiment in which the sound-insulating member (60) is fixed to the side plate (27b) of the main casing (27), but the sound-insulating member (60) is fixed to the top plate (27c) of the main casing (27) and the partition member (28) in the same manner.

[0050] <Modification 1> Modification 1 differs from the first embodiment in that, as shown in Fig. 4 , a sound insulating member (60) is fixed to the side plate (27b) and the top plate (27c) of the main casing (27) and the partition member (28) via a first vibration isolating member (63). The first vibration isolating member (63) is made of, for example, rubber, urethane, or the like. In Fig. 4 , the same components as those in the first embodiment shown in Fig. 3 are denoted by the same reference numerals. Also, Fig. 4 shows, as an example, an aspect in which the sound insulating member (60) is fixed to the side plate (27b) of the main casing (27), but the sound insulating member (60) is fixed to the top plate (27c) of the main casing (27) and the partition member (28) in the same manner.

[0051] <Modification 2> Modification 2 differs from the first embodiment in that, as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6 , a first sound-absorbing material (71) is provided in a space (61) between the sound-insulating member (60) and each of the side plate (27b) and the top plate (27c) of the main casing (27) and the partition member (28). The first sound-absorbing material (71) is made of, for example, felt, glass wool, urethane, or the like. When a foam sound-absorbing material such as urethane foam is used as the first sound-absorbing material (71), the space (61) is configured to be airtight. Note that in FIGS. 5 and 6 , the same components as those in the first embodiment shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 are denoted by the same reference numerals. Also, while FIG. 6 illustrates an example in which the sound-insulating member (60) is fixed to the side plate (27b) of the main casing (27), the sound-insulating member (60) is fixed to the top plate (27c) and the partition member (28) of the main casing (27) in the same manner.

[0052] In the second modification, similarly to the first modification, the sound insulating member (60) may be fixed to the side plate (27b) and the top plate (27c) of the main casing (27) and the partition member (28) via the first vibration isolating member (63).

[0053] <Modification 3> Modification 3 differs from Modification 2 in that, as shown in Figures 7 and 8 , a second sound-absorbing material (72) is provided on the sound-insulating member (60) on the side opposite to the side plate (27b) and the top plate (27c) of the main casing (27) and the partition member (28), in other words, on the side of the sound-insulating member (60) facing the compressor (30). The second sound-absorbing material (72) is made of, for example, felt, glass wool, urethane, or the like. Note that in Figures 7 and 8 , the same components as those in Modification 2 shown in Figures 5 and 6 are denoted by the same reference numerals. Furthermore, while Figure 8 shows, as an example, an embodiment in which the sound-insulating member (60) is fixed to the side plate (27b) of the main casing (27), the sound-insulating member (60) is fixed to the top plate (27c) and the partition member (28) of the main casing (27) in the same manner.

[0054] In the third modification, similarly to the first modification, the sound insulating member (60) may be fixed to the side plate (27b) and the top plate (27c) of the main casing (27) and the partition member (28) via the first vibration isolating member (63).

[0055] In the third modification, the first sound absorbing material (71) of the second modification does not have to be provided.

[0056] <Modification 4> Modification 4 differs from Modification 3 in that the compressor (30) is supported by a double vibration-proof structure, as shown in Fig. 9. In Fig. 9, the same components as those in Modification 3 shown in Fig. 7 are denoted by the same reference numerals.

[0057] Specifically, as shown in FIG. 9 , the compressor (30) has support legs (31). The support legs (31) are supported by a plurality of second vibration-isolating members (41). The second vibration-isolating members (41) are made of, for example, rubber or urethane. The second vibration-isolating members (41) are supported by a first support member (32). The first support member (32) is supported by a plurality of third vibration-isolating members (42). The third vibration-isolating members (42) are made of, for example, rubber or urethane. The material and spring constant of the second vibration-isolating members (41) may be the same as or different from the material and spring constant of the third vibration-isolating members (42). The third vibration-isolating members (42) are supported by the bottom plate (27a) of the main casing (27). That is, in the example shown in FIG. 9 , the bottom plate (27a) of the main casing (27) is the second support member.

[0058] In the fourth modification, even if the compressor (30) vibrates during operation of the refrigeration cycle apparatus (1), the vibration is damped by the second vibration-isolating member (41) and the third vibration-isolating member (42) before being transmitted to the bottom plate (27a) of the main casing (27). Here, if the total weight of the structure supported by the second vibration-isolating member (41) and the third vibration-isolating member (42) increases, the vibration damping effect improves. Therefore, for example, as shown in Fig. 9, other components of the refrigerant circuit (2), such as a water heat exchanger (15), may also be disposed on the first support member (32).

[0059] In the fourth modification, similarly to the first modification, the sound insulating member (60) may be fixed to the side plate (27b) and the top plate (27c) of the main casing (27) and the partition member (28) via the first vibration isolating member (63).

[0060] In the fourth modification, the first sound absorbing material (71) of the second modification and / or the second sound absorbing material (72) of the third modification may not be provided.

[0061] <Features of First Embodiment (Including Modifications)> The outdoor unit (20) serving as a heat source unit of the present disclosure has a machine room (S1) in which at least a compressor (30) is disposed. Inside the machine room (S1), a sound-insulating member (60) is fixed to at least a part of the side plate (27b) and the top plate (27c) of the main casing (27) and the partition member (28) that define the machine room (S1). Spaces (61) are provided between the sound-insulating member (60) and each of the side plate (27b) and the top plate (27c) of the main casing (27) and the partition member (28).

[0062] In the outdoor unit (20), the sound-insulating member (60) is fixed to the plates (27b, 27c, 28) that divide the machine room (S1). This facilitates assembly during installation and removal during maintenance, thereby reducing the number of steps required for installation and maintenance. Furthermore, the compressor (30) is doubly covered by the side plates (27b) and top plate (27c) of the main casing (27) and the partition member (28), together with the sound-insulating member (60). This improves sound insulation against noise from the compressor (30). Specifically, the sound-insulating performance of the metal plate, hard rubber, or the like that constitutes the sound-insulating member (60) generally improves with increasing mass. However, for the same mass, sound insulation using two pieces of sound-insulating material provides better sound insulation than sound insulation using one piece of sound-insulating material.

[0063] In the outdoor unit (20), the distance between the sound insulating member (60) and each of the side plates (27b) and the top plate (27c) of the main casing (27) that define the machine chamber (S1) and the partition member (28), i.e., the length of the space (61), may be set to 5 mm or more and 210 mm or less, preferably 5 mm or more and 50 mm or less. This can enhance the soundproofing effect while suppressing contact between the sound insulating member (60) and the main casing (27) or the partition member (28) due to vibration.

[0064] In the outdoor unit (20), inside the machine room (S1), the sound insulating member (60) may cover the compressor (30) so as to define an accommodation space (5) for accommodating the compressor (30), thereby further improving the sound insulating performance against noise from the compressor (30).

[0065] In the outdoor unit (20), the side plates (27b) and the top plate (27c) of the main casing (27) and the partition member (28) are configured to be combinable, and the sound-insulating member (60) may be fixed to at least one of the side plates (27b) and the top plate (27c) of the main casing (27) and the partition member (28). This makes it easier to assemble and detach the sound-insulating member (60) together with the side plates (27b) and the top plate (27c) of the main casing (27) and the partition member (28), thereby significantly reducing the number of steps required for installation and maintenance.

[0066] In the outdoor unit (20), the sound insulating member (60) may be fixed to the side plate (27b) and the top plate (27c) of the main casing (27) and the partition member (28) via first vibration isolators (63). This makes it possible to attenuate vibrations propagating from the side plate (27b) and the top plate (27c) of the main casing (27) and the partition member (28), which define the machine room (S1), to the sound insulating member (60). This makes it possible to suppress noise generated by vibration of the sound insulating member (60) itself.

[0067] In the outdoor unit (20), a first sound-absorbing material (71) may be provided in a space (61) interposed between the sound-insulating member (60) and each of the side plate (27b) and the top plate (27c) of the main casing (27) and the partition member (28). This makes it possible to suppress a reduction in transmission loss due to the low-frequency resonance transmission phenomenon, compared to a case where the first sound-absorbing material (71) is not provided in the space (61).

[0068] The "low-frequency resonance transmission phenomenon (drumming phenomenon)" is a resonance phenomenon that occurs when two panes of glass, such as double-pane glass, form a double structure with a hollow space between them, and the two panes become two masses, with the air in the hollow layer acting as a spring connecting them and causing them to vibrate. This phenomenon generally occurs in the low-frequency range, so it is called the low-frequency resonance transmission phenomenon. When the "low-frequency resonance transmission phenomenon" occurs, the transmission loss becomes lower than the value predicted by the mass law, and sound insulation performance deteriorates.

[0069] In the outdoor unit (20), a second sound-absorbing material (72) may be provided on the sound-insulating member (60) on the side opposite to the side plate (27b) and the top plate (27c) of the main casing (27) and the partition member (28), in other words, on the side of the sound-insulating member (60) facing the compressor (30). This can attenuate the sound pressure level of the sound emitted by the compressor (30), thereby preventing the sound reflected by the sound-insulating member (60) from building up and increasing noise.

[0070] "Build-up" is a phenomenon in which, when a sound source is enclosed in a sealed box, the sound pressure level around the sound source increases compared to when there is no box due to sound reflection by the box material. When "build-up" occurs, "sound pressure level outside the box" = "sound pressure level without the box" - "transmission loss of the box material" + "build-up," and the amount of sound pressure reduction by the box becomes smaller than the value expected from the transmission loss of the box material.

[0071] The outdoor unit (20) may include a second vibration-isolating member (41) that supports the compressor (30), a first support member (32) that supports the second vibration-isolating member (41), a third vibration-isolating member (42) that supports the first support member (32), and a bottom plate (27a) (second support member) of the main casing (27) that supports the third vibration-isolating member (42). In this way, the compressor (30) is supported by a double vibration-isolating structure, and therefore, propagation of vibrations of the compressor (30) to the bottom of the machine room (S1) can be suppressed.

[0072] The refrigeration cycle device (1) of the present disclosure includes an outdoor unit (20) and a refrigerant circuit (2) to which the outdoor unit (20) is connected, and therefore can employ a soundproof structure for the compressor (30) that can be easily assembled during installation and removed during maintenance.

[0073] Second Embodiment In the first embodiment (including the modified example), the sound insulating member (60) is fixed to the inner side of the machine chamber (S1) of the plates (27b, 27c, 28) that define the machine chamber (S1).

[0074] In contrast, in the second embodiment, as shown in Fig. 10, the sound insulating member (60) is fixed to the outer surface of the main casing (27), specifically, to the outside of the machine chamber (S1) of the side plate (27b) and / or the top plate (27c) constituting the main casing (27). Fig. 10 is a top view of an example of a sound insulating member (60) provided in the outdoor unit (20) of the second embodiment, and the same components as those in the first embodiment shown in Figs. 2 to 9 are denoted by the same reference numerals.

[0075] The second embodiment can also achieve the same effects as the first embodiment. In the first embodiment, the outdoor unit (20) can be made smaller than in the second embodiment, while in the second embodiment, a larger space can be secured for the machine room (S1) than in the first embodiment.

[0076] In the second embodiment, as shown in Fig. 10, the sound insulating member (60) may be installed later on the outdoor unit (20). Alternatively, the side plates (27b) and / or the top plate (27c) of the main casing (27) may be integrally formed with the sound insulating member (60) beforehand, and then the main casing (27) may be assembled.

[0077] The method for fixing the sound-insulating member (60) to the main casing (27) is not particularly limited. For example, as shown in FIG. 11, a bolt may be used as the fixing member (62), or the sound-insulating member (60) may be fixed by welding, caulking, rivets, or the like.

[0078] 11 shows variations in the manner in which the sound insulating member (60) is fixed to the side plate (27b) of the main casing (27). As shown in FIGS. 11(a) and 11(b), the end of the side plate (27b) may be bent and the sound insulating member (60) may be fixed to the end with a fixing member (62), thereby providing a space (61) between the side plate (27b) and the sound insulating member (60). Alternatively, as shown in FIGS. 11(c) and 11(d), the end of the sound insulating member (60) may be bent and fixed to the side plate (27b) with a fixing member (62), thereby providing a space (61) between the side plate (27b) and the sound insulating member (60).

[0079] Although FIG. 11 illustrates an example in which the sound insulating member (60) is fixed to the side plate (27b) of the main casing (27), the sound insulating member (60) can be fixed to the top plate (27c) of the main casing (27) in the same manner.

[0080] In the second embodiment, similar to the first modification of the first embodiment, the sound-insulating member (60) may be fixed to the side plate (27b) and / or the top plate (27c) of the main casing (27) via the first vibration-isolating member (63).

[0081] In embodiment 2, as in variant example 2 of embodiment 1, a first sound-absorbing material (71) may be provided in the space (61) interposed between the side plate (27b) and / or the top plate (27c) of the main casing (27) and the sound-insulating member (60).

[0082] In the second embodiment, as shown in Fig. 12 , a second sound-absorbing material (72) may be provided on the side plate (27b) and / or the top plate (27c) of the main casing (27) inside the machine chamber (S1), in other words, on the side of the side plate (27b) and / or the top plate (27c) facing the compressor (30). The second sound-absorbing material (72) may be made of, for example, felt, glass wool, urethane, or the like. Note that in Fig. 12 , the same components as those in Fig. 11 are denoted by the same reference numerals. Furthermore, although Fig. 12 illustrates an example in which the second sound-absorbing material (72) is provided on the side plate (27b) of the main casing (27), the second sound-absorbing material (72) may be provided on the top plate (27c) of the main casing (27) in the same manner.

[0083] By installing the second sound-absorbing material (72), the sound pressure level of the sound emitted by the compressor (30) can be attenuated, thereby preventing the sound reflected by the side plate (27b) and / or the top plate (27c) from building up and becoming louder.

[0084] Although FIG. 12 illustrates an example in which the first sound absorbing material (71) is provided together with the second sound absorbing material (72), it is not necessary to provide either the first sound absorbing material (71) or the second sound absorbing material (72).

[0085] In the second embodiment, the compressor (30) may be supported by a double vibration-isolating structure, as in the fourth modification of the first embodiment.

[0086] In the first and second embodiments, the side plates (27b) and / or the top plate (27c) of the main casing (27) may be made of the same material as the sound-insulating member (60), thereby forming a casing with a double-wall structure.

[0087] (Other Embodiments) In the above-described embodiment (including modified examples, the same applies below), the refrigeration cycle apparatus has been described as an apparatus having a refrigerant circuit and a fluid circuit, but is not limited to this. For example, the refrigeration cycle apparatus may be an air conditioner having a single refrigerant circuit.

[0088] Furthermore, examples of the objects to be temperature-adjusted by the outdoor unit, which is a heat source unit, include air conditioning equipment such as radiators and floor heating and cooling panels, but this is not limited to these, and for example, water heated by a water heat exchanger may be supplied to a hot water tank, bath, shower, etc.

[0089] Furthermore, the heat source unit of the refrigeration cycle device may not have a water heat exchanger, and may be connected to a utilization unit via a refrigerant pipe to form a refrigerant circuit. The utilization unit has a utilization heat exchanger that adjusts the temperature of air using a refrigerant. The utilization unit may be an air conditioning unit that conditions the air in a target space. In this case, the air conditioning unit may be a ceiling-mounted, wall-mounted, or floor-standing type. The utilization unit may be a cooling unit that cools the air inside a storage unit. The cooling unit may cool the interior of a shipping container for sea or land use.

[0090] The heat source unit does not necessarily have to be installed outdoors, but may be installed indoors. In this case, the heat source side heat exchanger is not an outdoor heat exchanger, but a heat exchanger that exchanges heat between a heat medium such as water and a refrigerant.

[0091] Although the embodiments have been described above, it will be understood that various modifications in form and details are possible without departing from the spirit and scope of the claims. Furthermore, the above-described embodiments and modifications may be combined or substituted as appropriate. Furthermore, the terms "first," "second," "third," etc. in the specification and claims are used to distinguish between terms to which these terms are attached, and do not limit the number or order of those terms.

[0092] INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY As described above, the present disclosure is useful for heat source units and refrigeration cycle devices.
