Description

[0001] HEAVY TISSUE LIFTING THREAD

[0002] The invention relates to materials for lifting soft tissues of the face and body (hereinafter referred to as lifting) and can be used in plastic surgery, surgery, cosmetology, dermatovenereology, and gynecology.

[0003] Known from patent RU 2765861 is a thread for lifting soft tissues of the face and body, containing a flexible base including a section on which paired parallel stop sections are made, connected by bridges, wherein each of the stop sections is oriented to the longitudinal axis of this section at an angle of 5-90°C, has pointed ends or rounded ends or rounded ends with pointed ends, oriented with the ends or pointed ends in opposite directions, and the possibility of fixing the stop sections in tissues across the longitudinal axis of the section, wherein the bridges are made with the possibility of connecting their ends with the opposite ends of the stop sections or connecting the ends of the bridges with the centers of the stop sections with the possibility of straightening the stop sections when the thread is tensioned and setting the ends of each stop section perpendicular to the axis of the thread.

[0004] However, in this solution, the zigzag-shaped stop sections are short, which does not provide a stable grip.

[0005] The closest analogue of the claimed invention is a lifting thread from patent KR101533074, having an asymmetric structure, containing: a supporting part in the form of a thread; a gripping part containing a plurality of teeth arranged around the circumference in a zigzag pattern at intervals of 180 degrees on one side of the supporting part; and a retaining part containing a plurality of retaining teeth arranged around the circumference at intervals of 90 degrees on the side of the supporting part and having an inclination opposite to the gripping projections, wherein the retaining part fixes the position in a state in which the skin tissue is stretched relative to the gripping part at the stage of insertion of the supporting part and preliminary performance of the operation and prevents the phenomenon of sagging caused by gravity and the restorative force of the tissue during the process occurring in time after the operation. However, this thread is not suitable for use on heavy tissues.The technical problem of the claimed invention is the creation of a lifting thread for heavy tissues, in particular for male faces.

[0006] The features of male faces are a massive chin, clearly defined, often with dimples, a wide, protruding lower jaw, its angle is clearly defined and slightly shifted to the side due to developed chewing muscles. For men, the roundness of the middle zone of the face is not typical. As a rule, the male jaw is wider with pronounced jaw muscles and salivary glands.

[0007] The technical result of the invention is maximum skin lifting and long-term reliable fixation of soft tissues, allowing the thread to be used primarily for male faces, based on the structural features, and heavy tissues of female faces.

[0008] The essence of the claimed invention is that in a thread for lifting heavy tissues, made asymmetrical and containing a support part in the form of a thread on which a gripping part and a holding part are located, the gripping part contains cylindrical hooks, the holding part contains z-shaped hooks, wherein the cylindrical hook has the shape of a truncated cone with one edge oriented toward the edge of the thread closest to the gripping part, and contains a pair of hooks on its other edge.

[0009] The invention contains the following aspects of execution.

[0010] The gripping part and the holding part are made of the same length.

[0011] On the support part, between the gripping part and the holding part, there is an intermediate part, which is a thickening of the support part.

[0012] The edge of the intermediate part on the side of the gripping part repeats the shape of the section of the cylindrical hook, the edge of the intermediate part on the side of the holding part repeats the shape of the section of the z-shaped hook.

[0013] The Z-shaped hooks are elongated and oriented along the support part at an angle to the axis of the support part.

[0014] The thread is made of bioabsorbable material.

[0015] Polydioxanone, polylactide, polyglycolide, polycaprolactone or their copolymers are used as bioresorbable materials. The claimed asymmetric thread, due to its two parts: a retaining (fixing) part with z-shaped hooks, providing maximum fixation, and a gripping (lifting) part with cylindrical hooks with cast hooks, allows for maximum tissue lift, preventing breaks due to fixation and unscrewing of hooks due to gravity. The lower part is fixed and, due to the upper lifting part, the thread is raised upward and fixed in a new position.

[0016] The zigzags of the holding part are made more longitudinal compared to analogues, which provides a more durable grip.

[0017] This modification is most effective for heavy tissues, and was created with the purpose of strengthening the lower layers of tissue and, due to the lifting part, lifting all layers with a block, which is ideal for men based on their anatomical features, and is also suitable for heavy tissues of women's faces.

[0018] The claimed invention is illustrated by a figure in which positions 1 - 7 show:

[0019] 1 - supporting part;

[0020] 2 - gripping (lifting) part;

[0021] 3 - retaining (fixing) part;

[0022] 4 - intermediate part;

[0023] 5 - cylindrical hook;

[0024] 6 - Z-shaped hook;

[0025] 7 - hook.

[0026] The lifting thread is made asymmetrical and contains a support part 1 in the form of a thread, on which a gripping (lifting) part 2 and a holding (fixing) part 3 are located. On the support part 1, between the gripping part 2 and the holding part 3, an intermediate part 4 is located, which is a thickening of the support part 1.

[0027] The intermediate part 4 prevents the thread from moving freely, while allowing the load to pass to another part of the thread.

[0028] The gripping part 2 and the holding part 3 are made of the same length. The total length of the two parts 2 and 3 is from 100 to 130 mm, which corresponds to the length from the temporal zone to the lower edge of the lower jaw. The remaining length of the thread is accounted for by smooth tails, which are cut off after the procedure. The gripping part 2 contains a plurality of cylindrical hooks 5. Cylindrical hook 5 has the shape of a truncated cone with one edge oriented toward the edge of the thread closest to the gripping part 2, and contains a pair of hooks 7 with a pointed end on its other edge.

[0029] The retaining part 3 contains z-shaped hooks 6, made elongated and oriented along the support part 1 at an angle to the axis of the support part 1.

[0030] The edge of the intermediate part 4 on the side of the gripping part 2 repeats the shape of the section of the cylindrical hook 5 in the form of a truncated cone. The edge of the intermediate part 4 on the side of the retaining part 3 repeats the shape of the section of the z-shaped hook 6.

[0031] The device is used as follows.

[0032] Several threads are used for soft tissue lifting. The threads are inserted through one puncture into the desired layer (the hypodermis, or if necessary, fix the muscles) in a fan pattern, focusing on the sagging tissues that need to be moved. Using a guide, which is a modification of the L-shaped cannula, in which the thread is located, the thread is immersed to the desired length in the subcutaneous fat layer. Then the cannula is removed and the thread is fixed by z-shaped hooks 6 in its lower - holding part 3. After this, they reach the transition to another thread configuration, i.e. the intermediate part 4, and begin to shift the tissue to a higher point by stringing the tissue on the thread with maximum compression. Due to the cylindrical hooks 5 of the gripping (lifting) part 2, the thread holds all the tissues in this state. Then all the threads above the skin surface, pressing as much as possible, are tied in one knot (fixation point). This ensures that the threads do not fall out and will hold the volume at that point.Next, the knot is inserted through the puncture into the deepest layer of the skin. The depth depends on the puncture point: fascia, subcutaneous fat or periosteum, which allows all tissues to be held with the help of threads at one fixation point and does not allow them to slip, as the threads diverge in a fan-shaped direction to the places where maximum lifting is required.

[0033] After the operation, the lifting thread remains in the human body. It is preferable that it is made of a bioresorbable material. As one example of such a bioresorbable material, one can consider a bioresorbable polymer material, which can be made of polydioxanone, polylactide, polyglycolide, polycaprolactone and their copolymer.

[0034] Then the threads hold the tissues in a new shape, and the skin gradually tightens behind this shape. The material that the thread consists of at this time provides collagen and elastin so that the skin quickly tightens into the new shape.

[0035] These threads are safe for treating migraines. The thread is inserted into the temporal zone. When the tissue is affected, the blood supply and pressure in the temporal arteries change, which helps reduce the pain syndrome of migraine, which is localized in the temporal zone.

[0036] Also, for frontal migraines, these threads have a configuration that, when inserted along the outer edge of the zygomatic bone, creates pressure, which reduces pain for the time the threads are in place (9-15 months), without damaging blood vessels and important anatomical elements.

[0037] Example of a specific implementation

[0038] The thread can be made in the following sizes.

[0039] Option 1:

[0040] The distance between the cylindrical hooks is 2.5 mm, the diameter of the cylindrical hook is 1 mm, the distance between the z-shaped hooks is 2.5 mm, the diameter of the z-shaped hook is 1 mm.

[0041] Option 2:

[0042] The distance between the cylindrical hooks is 1 mm, the length of the cylindrical hook is 1 mm, the diameter of the cylindrical hook is 0.5 mm, the distance between the z-hooks is 1 mm, the length of the z-hook is 1 mm, the diameter of the z-hook is 0.5 mm.
