[0005] The object of the present invention lies in a dome, in particular a geodesic dome of the type that is mounted on a base platform and serves as a stage of those that are mounted, normally on a temporary basis, for the realization of ephemeral cultural events that are held outdoors, such as concerts, music festivals, patron saint festivities or others, and that also has means of capturing renewable energy to power the equipment used in the event itself, with the particularity that said dome has a series of improvements that improve the versatility of use of the stage, especially with regard to its capacity to adapt to equip it with different sizes and configurations so that even, in a preferred embodiment, they allow its conversion into a dome of totally closed configuration,In this case, it is also equipped with LED technology and other integrated video projection systems that make it especially suitable for holding immersive audiovisual events, as well as improvements that, in turn, improve the performance of the energy collection media, allowing the use of the dome as an electric generator to power not only the equipment used in it for holding the event, but also external equipment or installations in the nearby surroundings.

[0006] FIELD OF APPLICATION OF THE INVENTION

[0007] The scope of the present invention falls within the sector of the industry dedicated to the manufacture and installation of stages for cultural and ephemeral open-air events, such as concerts, music festivals, patron saint festivals and the like, while also covering the field of installations and equipment intended for the production of audiovisual projections and events.

[0008] BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0009] As is well known, holding large music festivals and other temporary events requires significant electricity consumption, especially to power sound and lighting equipment, but also for all the complementary services typically included in such an event.

[0010] To solve this problem, document U202331757, whose owner is the applicant of the present invention, discloses an energetically autonomous scenario for open-air events which basically comprises a dome, preferably of geodesic structure, a base platform on which the dome is mounted, and means for capturing and generating solar energy or other renewable energies that generate and provide sufficient electrical supply to cover, at least, the energy consumption necessary for holding the event in question;which comprise photovoltaic panels and / or wind turbines, storage batteries, and electronic control components equipped with measurement and efficiency software, the photovoltaic panels and / or wind turbines and the batteries being designed to be integrated into modular supports, which allow the number of each to be adapted as appropriate in each case, as well as the incorporation of the photovoltaic panels on the surface of the dome.

[0011] Well, said scenario, although it satisfactorily meets the objectives it pursues, presents certain aspects that can be improved, in particular aspects relating to the possibilities of adapting the dome to increase the versatility of its use, this being one of the main objectives of the present invention, that is, the inclusion of improvements in the scenario disclosed in said document, and more specifically in the geodesic dome known by said document to adapt its size and configuration to be able to hold conventional events and immersive audiovisual events as well as to equip it with specific equipment for holding such events.

[0012] At the same time, aspects related to the energy contribution capacity of the autonomous energy collection means are also susceptible to improvement, both to be able to integrate into the dome itself and to be able to provide electrical power to the event equipment itself and to equipment or installations in the environment where it is installed, serving as an electrical generator.

[0013] On the other hand, and as a reference to the current state of the art, it should be noted that, at least on the part of the applicant, the existence of any other stage dome, or any other invention of similar application, that presents technical and structural characteristics equal to or similar to those claimed here, is unknown.

[0014] EXPLANATION OF THE INVENTION

[0015] The stage dome for ephemeral events and energy-independent electric generator that the invention proposes is configured as an ideal solution to the objectives previously indicated which, at the same time, represents an improvement of the current state of the art, the characterizing details that make it possible and that distinguish it being conveniently included in the final claims that accompany this description.

[0016] Specifically, what the invention proposes, as indicated above, is a dome, specifically a dome formed by a structure of geodesic geometry, of the type that, as is already known, is installed on a base platform and serves as a stage for those that are set up, normally on a temporary basis, for the realization of ephemeral cultural events that are held outdoors, such as concerts, music festivals, patron saint festivities or others, and which also has, preferably, means of capturing renewable energy to power, at least, the equipment used in the event itself, which basically comprise photovoltaic panels and / or wind turbines, storage batteries, and electronic control components equipped with measurement and efficiency software, the photovoltaic panels being planned to be incorporated on the surface of the dome.

[0017] And, based on said already known configuration, the stage dome object of the present invention is distinguished by consisting of a modular structure, preferably formed from triangular pieces or modules of metal profiles that are coupled together at their vertices in easily removable joining nodes, for example by screwing, which provide it with the capacity to adapt to different dimensions, depending on the number of modules used in each case, and which also provide it with the capacity to adapt to different configurations, depending on the arrangement of said modules, being able to present an open front area, to use the dome as a conventional stage, with greater or lesser width thereof as appropriate in each case, or being able to even consist of a totally closed dome, to use the dome as an immersive stage.

[0018] That is to say, depending on the number of modules that make up the geodesic geometry structure of the dome, its dimensions can vary, which, in a preferred embodiment, are up to 24m wide and 14.50m high, and depending on the arrangement of the modules that make up said geodesic geometry structure of the dome, it can be open at the front, so that the spectators will see the event from outside it, normally located in front of the base platform, or it can be totally closed, in which case the spectators will enter inside the dome itself to enjoy the event.

[0019] Furthermore, in a preferred embodiment, especially when the dome adopts this fully enclosed configuration to serve as an immersive stage, the structure incorporates, on its internal part, LED technology equipment and integrated video projection systems that allow for the production of audiovisual events.

[0020] In any case, preferably, the modular structure of the dome may comprise at least one or two movable parts, allowing the front area to be closed or unclosed, allowing the dome to be used in either of the two modes, i.e., as a conventional open stage or as an immersive stage. To this end, said movable closing part may have automated and / or manual means that facilitate the task of moving it from one position to another.

[0021] Furthermore, in a preferred embodiment, as energy collection means, the dome comprises, integrated into the structure, up to three types of renewable energy: solar, wind and kinetic, which are provided with sufficient power not only to electrically supply the equipment integrated into the dome and / or used in the event, but also to act as an electrical generator and also supply other fixed or non-fixed equipment or small installations in the area close to the point where the stage dome is installed.

[0022] Furthermore, in one embodiment, the dome is mounted on a base platform that has a rotating mechanism that acts as a solar tracker. This rotating mechanism is preferably automated.

[0027] In view of the aforementioned figures, and in accordance with the adopted numbering, one can observe in them different non-limiting embodiments of the stage dome for ephemeral events and the energy-independent electric generator of the invention, which comprises what is described in detail below.

[0028] Thus, as can be seen in said figures, the dome of the invention is formed, in a known manner, by a structure (1) of geodesic geometry, for example hemispherical, which, intended to be installed on a base platform (not shown in the figures), serves as a temporary stage and preferably comprises photovoltaic panels (p) incorporated on its surface, among other means of capturing renewable energy to power, at least, the equipment used in the event itself.

[0029] And, based on said configuration, the dome object of the present invention is distinguished by the fact that said geodesic structure thereof is a modular structure (1), that is to say formed on the basis of a plurality of removable modules (2), which provide it with the capacity to adapt to different dimensions, depending on the number of modules (2) used, and the capacity to adapt to different configurations, depending on the arrangement of said modules (2), and may have an open front area (3) of greater or lesser dimension, as can be seen in figures 1-A, 1-B and 1-C, which allows the dome to be used as a conventional stage, or it may be a totally closed dome, without said open front area (3), and optionally only with one or two small access doors (4), as can be seen in figures 2-A, 2-B and 2-C, which allows the dome to be used as an immersive stage.

[0030] Preferably, the removable modules (2) that make up the modular structure (1) of the dome are triangular pieces with edges based on metal profiles that are joined together by their vertices in easily removable connection nodes, for example by screwing.

[0031] Preferably, the dimensions of the modular dome structure (1) are up to 24m wide (a) and 14.50m high (h).

[0032] Preferably, the modular structure (1) of the dome is a combination of both types of stage, that is, open and immersive at the same time, for which it comprises at least one mobile closing part (5), represented by dotted lines in figure 3, to ensure or not the closure of the open front area (3).

[0033] Preferably, said movable closing part (5) comprises automated means, for example, by means of an electric motor and hydraulic pistons (not shown), to move it from an open position to a closed position and vice versa. And, optionally, alternatively or additionally, the movable closing part (5) comprises manual means to move it from one position to another, for example, by means of a crank mechanism and sliding guides (not shown).

[0034] Furthermore, in a preferred embodiment, when the structure (1) of the dome adopts a totally closed configuration, it comprises LED technology and video projection equipment (not shown in the figures) that are integrated into the internal part of the structure (1) for the realization of audiovisual events.

[0035] On the other hand, in a preferred embodiment, as means of energy capture, the dome comprises, integrated in the structure (1) thereof, up to three types of combined renewable and autonomous energies, preferably solar, by means of the photovoltaic panels (p) located on its surface, wind, by means of one or more wind turbines and kinetic (these last two not represented in the figures), but without ruling out others, which, in any case, are installed with equipment provided with sufficient power to feed the equipment used in the events and, in addition, act as an electric generator to also feed other equipment.

[0036] Furthermore, in one embodiment, the dome is mounted on a base platform that has a rotating mechanism that acts as a solar tracker. This rotating mechanism is preferably automated.

[0037] It is worth mentioning that the elements mentioned in the preferred embodiment and which are not represented in the figures, such as for example the means for moving the mobile closing part (5) or the energy capturing means, have not been represented because it is understood that these are elements or mechanisms which do not form part of the object of the invention in themselves, but rather they are means already known in the market chosen for the proposed solutions of the different options of the dome, and may consist of others which already exist or may be manufactured in the future.

[0038] In view of the described figure 4, and in accordance with the numbering adopted therein, a non-limiting embodiment example of an energetically autonomous and sustainable scenario for outdoor events can be observed, comprising the dome of the invention, which comprises what is described in detail below.

[0039] In one embodiment of the invention, the dome (1) forms part of a stage (6) and is mounted on a base platform (7). In this embodiment, the stage (6) comprises means for capturing and generating renewable energy, such as solar or wind energy, which generate and provide sufficient power supply to cover at least the energy consumption required for holding the event in question.

[0040] Optionally, the stage (6) comprises one or more metal lattice towers or truss towers (8) that can be attached to said base (7) and on which sound (9) and / or lighting equipment (not shown) and / or image reproduction screens (10) and / or other technical elements for the operation of the event in question are installed. More means for capturing and generating renewable energy are preferably installed on said tower(s).

[0041] Specifically, said means of capturing and generating renewable energy comprise a plurality of photovoltaic panels (p) and / or wind turbines and one or more storage batteries (11), as well as electronic control components (12) equipped with measurement and efficiency software.

[0042] Preferably, both the photovoltaic panels (p) and the batteries (11) are mounted integrated in modular supports that allow the number of each to be adapted as appropriate in each case.

[0043] Preferably, the photovoltaic panels (p) are installed on the surface of the dome (2), although this option has not been represented in Figure 4.

[0044] Furthermore, in one embodiment, the dome (1) with photovoltaic panels (p) is mounted on the base platform (7) with a rotating mechanism (not shown) that acts as a solar tracker.

[0045] Additionally or alternatively, the photovoltaic panels (p) and / or wind turbines are installed on the top of one or more truss towers (8) fixed by means of adjustable and rotating fasteners (13) that allow modifying both the number and the position and orientation of said photovoltaic panels (p).

[0046] In any case, preferably, the batteries (11), together with the electronic control components (12) and the measurement and efficiency software, are incorporated and housed inside reinforced metal boxes (16). Preferably, said boxes consist of transport containers of standard dimensions. In any case, they are equipped with an access door with a security lock, avoiding the possibility of manipulation of the control elements by unauthorized personnel.

[0047] Preferably, the dome (1) is a geodesic structure formed from a plurality of removable metal profiles (14), forming the edges of its triangular faces, and a closing cover (15) which, for example, is formed from flat triangular pieces, for example of plastic material or solar panels, which fit one by one between the metal profiles (14).

[0048] In a preferred embodiment, the scenario (6) described is an ephemeral installation that is set up for the celebration of events and is dismantled once they are concluded, so that the means of capturing and generating solar energy only generate and provide electrical supply service to cover the energy consumption of the event in question.

[0049] However, in an optional embodiment, the scenario (6) is a permanent installation where the means of capturing and generating solar energy, in addition to serving as an energy generator for its own consumption at events held there, also serve as a generator for consumption by other nearby users. In other words, the scenario (6) would form part of an energy community within a smart city.

[0050] Having sufficiently described the nature of the present invention, as well as the manner of putting it into practice, it is not considered necessary to make its explanation more extensive so that any expert in the field understands its scope and the advantages derived from it.
