Description

[0001] A system for generating and continuously supplying energy

[0002] The subject of the invention is a system for generating and continuously supplying energy, having a system for controlling a turbine generator in cyclic and constant operation, adapted to continuously supply energy to the end user.

[0003] A turbine is known from the Polish patent description Pat.237283, which consists of separate turbine segments, of which at least one turbine segment is equipped with at least one additional ring, or extensions releasably attached to the segment guide vanes, and to the ring of the segment located below or to the fixed foundation supports, wherein the ring is composed of eight lobes and eight lower and eight upper covers, forming a closed structure.

[0004] A set of air-pneumatic devices, especially high-power ones, for generating energy is known from the Polish patent description Pat.218391. The set preferably consists of three columns consisting of segments arranged coaxially, connected by rigid ties.

[0005] From the Polish invention Pat.229549 a multi-segment synchronous generator is known, adapted for use in wind turbines with a vertical axis of rotation. The generator has a housing in the form of a skeleton with a polygonal base, preferably made of closed sections, connected with a detachable clamp.

[0006] The Polish invention Pat.241790 is known as a system for accelerating a wind turbine with a vertical axis of rotation, equipped with an electric motor mounted on the turbine shaft by means of a one-way clutch.

[0007] During tests of a turbine connected to a generator (turbine-generator) equipped with an acceleration system, it was noticed that in the absence of wind, the electricity supplied to the end user is supplied cyclically and not continuously, which may cause short interruptions in the electricity supply to the end user.

[0008] It has been noticed that significantly better effects in obtaining energy are achieved when the turbine generator is maintained at nominal speed, instead of accelerating it from a stationary position. However, in the case of a permanently connected transformer, the resistance on the shaft is too high, which makes it difficult to operate the devices and supply current in a constant manner.

[0009] The system for generating and continuously supplying energy in cyclic and continuous operation of the turbine generator solves the above problems. It provides a constant supply of electricity while maintaining the turbine at nominal speed, which ensures the possibility of working in lower wind and less energy expenditure for accelerating the turbine.

[0010] The system has a wind turbine with a vertical axis of rotation connected inseparably and coaxially with the generator. The turbine-generator shaft is connected to the turbine acceleration system located at its top. The acceleration system is connected to the inverter with an external current input. The generator is connected to the control system and disconnected to the transformer, where the transformer is also connected to the control system and the output to the network. In addition, the control system is connected to the energy storage and the output to the network.

[0011] Advantageously, the control system comprises a control unit which, on one side, is connected to the power controller and coupled to the user interface, and on the other side, is connected to the signal input via a synchronizing column, the control system inverter and the converter. Advantageously, the control unit which is part of the control system is controlled using the current frequency and the power status in the generator and transformer on the basis of control signals transmitted at the interface.

[0012] The invention ensures continuous supply of electricity from the turbine generator to the recipient, regardless of changes in wind intensity or even periods of complete wind absence. In the event of a drop in turbine speed below the nominal value, there is no technical or economic justification for its further operation in this mode and the transformer is disconnected, thereby reducing the resistance on the turbine shaft and the turbine acceleration system is switched on, which maintains the turbine speed. This means that the turbine does not stop, which means that it is not necessary to start the turbine from a stationary position in the event of an increase in wind intensity and that even lower wind intensity allows for the re-generation of current after reconnecting the transformer. Thanks to the control system according to the invention, even in the case of cyclic connections of the transformer, current is supplied to the recipient continuously. When the transformer is disconnected, the turbine rotor temporarily acts as a flywheel.

[0013] The invention in an embodiment is presented in the drawing, which shows a block diagram of the system.

[0014] As shown in the drawing, the system is equipped with a wind turbine with a vertical axis of rotation 2 connected inseparably and coaxially to a generator 3. A transformer 4 is detachably connected to the generator 3, to which a control system 5 is connected, which has a control unit 8, a power controller 11 connected thereto, where the control unit 8 is coupled to the interface 12, and on the other side via a synchronizing column 15, an inverter 9 of the control system and a converter 16 to the signal output 10. The control system 5 is also connected to an energy storage 14, output 13 to the network and, via an inverter 6, to the turbine 2 acceleration system 1. The inverter 6 is also connected to an external energy source 7.

[0015] The inverter 6 connected to an external power source 7 supplies the turbine 2 acceleration system 1, which accelerates the turbine-generator to the nominal power. When the nominal power is reached, the transformer 4 connected to the generator 3 is started, which transfers the current to the control system 5 and to the output 13 to the end user. The control system 5 consists of the control unit 8 to which the power control system 11 is connected, the interface 12 and, via the converter 16, the inverter 9 of the control system and the stabilization column 15, the signal input 10.

[0016] The control system, which is connected to the inverter, the energy storage and to the output supplying energy to the end user, disconnects the transformer in the event of a drop in speed below the nominal power and supplies the acceleration system from the energy storage via the inverter, which drives the turbine generator back to the nominal power. When the transformer is connected, the control system transfers part of the power to the energy storage and part to the output. During the turbine generator's operating cycle when the transformer is disconnected, the control system supplies the network from the energy storage, thus ensuring the conversion of cyclic current to continuous current at the output to the network.
