Device for using a dental gel for orthodontic treatment

Abstract

The claimed solution relates to medicine, and more particularly to a medical product in the form of a gel for accelerating an orthodontic treatment and alleviating the pain thereof, as well as to a technical device for the use of said product, which makes it possible to significantly accelerate the movement of the teeth on the upper or lower jaw. Claimed is an electrode-bearing bite splint for performing procedures in the oral cavity, which consists of a shell having two conducting wires mounted in the front part thereof, said conducting wires having connectors and the open ends of said conducting wires being isolated from the alveolar mucosa by medical pads, wherein, during a procedure, the shell is filled with a gel for electrophoresis, consisting of an active chelating agent based on a solution of Trilon B, and a thickener in the form of sodium alginate.

Claims

FORMULA 1. A mouth guard electrode for carrying out procedures in the oral cavity, consisting of a frame, in the front part of which two current leads with connectors are installed, the open ends of the current leads are isolated from the mucous membrane of the alveolar processes with medical pads, and during the procedure the frame is filled with a gel for electrophoresis, consisting of an active chelating substance based on a Trilon B solution in an amount of 5 to 10% and a thickener in the form of sodium alginate.

2. The cap-electrode according to item 1, characterized in that it contains a centering hole in the frontal part.
