[0001] Related applications
[0002] This application claims priority to Chinese patent application No. 202311330405.7 filed on October 13, 2023, and cites the contents disclosed in the above patent application as part of this application. Technical Field
[0003] The present application relates to the field of reaction equipment, and further relates to a multiphase reactor, and in particular to a multiphase reactor with a flow-guiding structure for enhancing axial gas distribution. Background Art
[0004] Multiphase reaction processes are among the most important and complex in the chemical industry, involving physical and chemical processes such as mass transfer, mixing, and reaction between working fluids. The mixing efficiency of materials within a multiphase reactor is positively correlated with the efficiency of heat transfer, mass transfer, and chemical reactions.
[0005] At present, multiphase reactors mainly include stirred tank reactors, bubble reactors, etc. The stirred tank reactor has the disadvantages of violent reaction, which easily leads to increased material consumption, high energy consumption, and easy mechanical failure. The bubble reactor has the advantages of not involving large agitators, mild reaction, low material consumption, and no energy consumption. However, the bubble reactor adopts traditional feeding method and gas distributor, and the uniformity of the distribution of materials and gases entering it is difficult to ensure, which will cause uneven distribution of temperature field and reaction field, and easily generate eddy currents, affecting the circulation flow of materials in the reactor, resulting in increased material consumption of the reactor, insufficient reaction, high production cost, thereby affecting production quality and economic benefits.
[0006] In one embodiment, as shown in Figure 1, the bubble reactor includes a vertically arranged reactor shell 100 and an annular gas distributor 300 arranged in the reactor shell 100 and near its bottom position. One end of the air inlet pipe 200 is connected to the reactor shell 100, and the other end of the air inlet pipe 200 extends to the outside of the reactor shell 100, which is used to provide gas (such as air) into the reactor shell 100 and transport it to the reactor shell 100 through the annular gas distributor 300. A material inlet pipe 400 is provided in the middle and lower part of the reactor shell 100 in the vertical direction, and a flowable reaction material is fed into the reactor shell 100 through the material inlet pipe 400, so that a reaction is carried out in the reactor shell 100. However, since the annular gas distributor 300 is located near the bottom of the reactor shell 100, and the material inlet on the material inlet pipe 400 is located in the middle of the reactor shell 100 and close to the inner wall of the reactor shell 100, there is sufficient gas (such as air) near the bottom of the reactor shell 100, and the reaction is violent, but the reaction material cannot be replenished in time, resulting in the local reaction temperature in the reactor shell 100 being too high, and may be accompanied by the occurrence of side reactions; and the gas (such as air) content near the feed port in the reactor shell 100 is low, which is not conducive to the occurrence of the reaction, and local vortexes appear in the container of the reactor shell 100. At the same time, a large amount of reaction material (cold medium) in this area will cause the local temperature to be low, exacerbating the uneven distribution of the temperature field and reaction field in the reactor shell 100.
[0007] Currently, no effective solution has been given to the problem that the temperature field and reaction field of multiphase reactors in related technologies are unevenly distributed, which affects the reaction efficiency and increases material consumption.
[0008] Therefore, the applicant, relying on many years of experience and practice in related industries, has proposed a multiphase reactor to overcome the defects of the prior art.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
[0044] In order to have a clearer understanding of the technical features, purposes and effects of this application, the specific implementation methods of this application are now described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0045] The directional words such as "up", "down", "top", "bottom", "vertical" etc. mentioned in this application are based on the directions such as "up", "down", "top", "bottom", "vertical" etc. in Figure 2. They are intended to describe the positional relationship more clearly and are not intended to limit the actual direction, and are explained here.
[0046] As shown in Figures 2 to 5, the present application provides a multiphase reactor, which includes a reactor shell 1, a gas distributor and at least one guide tube 2. A reaction chamber 101 is formed inside the reactor shell 1. The reaction chamber 101 is a vertically arranged cylindrical chamber. A second material inlet pipe 8 and a first material inlet pipe 7 connected to the reaction chamber 101 are provided on the reactor shell 1. The first material inlet pipe 7 is used to transport the first material into the reaction chamber 101; the gas distributor and at least one guide tube 2 are both located in the reaction chamber 101, the second material inlet pipe 8 is connected to the gas distributor, and the second material transported by the second material inlet pipe 8 is transported to the reaction chamber 101 through the gas distributor; a plurality of ventilation portions are arranged on the guide tube 2 along the circumference of the reactor shell 1, and the guide tube 2 is used to play the role of axial drainage and radial cutting in the reaction chamber 101.
[0047] The present application may be provided with a guide tube 2 in the reactor shell 1, and the provision of the guide tube 2 can promote the axial flow of the medium in the reactor shell 1, and a plurality of vents are arranged on the guide tube 2 along the circumference of the reactor shell 1, and the vents can play a role in cutting and crushing the medium (the first material and / or the second material, or the substance after the reaction of the first material and the second material) flowing in the reaction chamber 101, thereby achieving re-cutting and crushing of the multiphase medium, enhancing the mixing effect, effectively eliminating the local viscous flow in the reaction chamber 101, making the medium mixing more efficient and rapid, and at the same time being able to weaken the wall effect, enhance the mass transfer and heat transfer of the medium, and improve the reaction effect. In addition, a gas distributor is provided in the reaction chamber 101, and through the combination of the gas distributor and the guide tube 2, the distribution of the first material and the second material is more uniform, while maximizing the reaction efficiency, effectively reducing the temperature gradient in the reaction chamber 101, avoiding the situation where the local temperature difference stress is too large, making the reaction field more uniform, and making the reaction in the reaction chamber 101 more thorough, improving the reaction efficiency of the multiphase reactor, effectively reducing the raw material consumption, and ensuring the safe and stable progress of the reaction.
[0048] The first material comprises a liquid reaction material. The second material inlet pipe 8 comprises an air inlet pipe, and the second material comprises air. This application is intended to protect the structure of the multiphase reactor and does not limit the types of the first material and the second material.
[0049] In an optional embodiment of the present application, as shown in Figure 2, the outlet end of the first material inlet pipe 7 extends to the inner side of the guide tube 2. On the one hand, the first material can be distributed on the periphery of the second gas distributor 6, which facilitates the adjustment of the ratio of the first material to the second material, so that the second material (such as air) can react chemically with sufficient first material at the first time, reducing excessive chemical reactions and intermediate products caused by excessive second material (such as air), minimizing the feed amount of the second material (such as air), reducing production costs, and ensuring economic benefits; on the other hand, the location where the reaction occurs can be kept away from the inner wall surface of the reactor shell 1, preventing excessive local thermal stress at discontinuous points on the inner wall surface of the reactor shell 1, and avoiding local material failure caused by the above situation and affecting the stable operation of the equipment.
[0050] Furthermore, as shown in FIG2 , the first material inlet pipe 7 and the second material inlet pipe 8 are distributed along the axial direction of the reaction chamber 101, with the first material inlet pipe 7 being located in the middle and lower part of the reaction chamber 101; and the second material inlet pipe 8 being located at the bottom of the reaction chamber 101 or near the bottom. The relative positions of the first material inlet pipe 7 and the second material inlet pipe 8 allow the medium in the reaction chamber 101 to flow along the axial direction of the reaction chamber 101. The arrangement of the guide tube 2 further guides the axial flow of the medium in the reaction chamber 101. At the same time, the ventilation portion on the guide tube 2 allows the medium to be cut and crushed, thereby enhancing the mixing effect, making the medium mixing more efficient and rapid, and improving the reaction effect. In addition, the gas distributor can promote the axial distribution of the second material delivered by the second material inlet pipe 8 in the reaction chamber 101.
[0051] In an optional embodiment of the present application, as shown in Figures 2 to 5, the draft tube 2 is a vertically arranged cylindrical tube with open top and bottom. The draft tube 2 is coaxially arranged with the reactor shell 1, and multiple vents are spaced apart along the circumference of the draft tube 2. The multiple vents can be evenly distributed on the draft tube 2, or the distribution positions of the multiple vents can be adjusted according to the distance from the first material inlet pipe 7, so that the multiple vents are not evenly distributed, so as to ensure that the first material entering the reaction chamber 101 is adequately radially guided.
[0052] Furthermore, as shown in Figures 2 and 5, there are multiple flow guide tubes 2, and the multiple flow guide tubes 2 are coaxially arranged with the reaction chamber 101, and the multiple flow guide tubes 2 are spaced and evenly arranged in the axial direction of the reaction chamber 101 (that is, the intervals between any two adjacent flow guide tubes 2 are equal), and the height of the bottom surface of the flow guide tube 2 at the bottom is higher than the bottom head welding position of the reactor shell 1 (that is, the welding line). The number of flow guide tubes 2 can be adjusted according to the height of the reaction chamber 101 to achieve radial drainage of the medium in the reaction chamber 101 as a whole, thereby maximizing the reaction effect. Among them, according to the actual layout, any two adjacent flow guide tubes 2 can be set to be spaced at the same distance in the vertical direction.
[0053] In an optional embodiment of the present application, as shown in FIG2 , the diameter of the draft tube 2 is smaller than the diameter of the reactor shell 1 , the inlet end of the first material inlet pipe 7 is located outside the reactor shell 1 , and the outlet end of the first material inlet pipe 7 extends to the inside of the draft tube 2 . The cross-sectional area of the draft tube 2 can be set to be approximately 50% to 75% of the cross-sectional area of the reactor shell 1 , or the diameter of the draft tube 2 can be set to be approximately 70% to 86% of the diameter of the reactor shell 1 .
[0054] In this application, two structural forms of the guide tube 2 are provided.
[0055] One structural form of the draft tube 2 is as follows: as shown in FIG3 , the draft tube 2 is formed by a plurality of baffles 201 with arc-shaped cross sections arranged and spaced apart along the circumference of the reaction chamber 101. The baffles 201 are connected to the inner wall of the reactor shell 1 by fixings 3. A gap 202 is left between adjacent baffles 201, connecting the inner and outer sides of the draft tube 2, thereby forming the aforementioned vent. The baffles 201 can be arranged evenly around the axis of the reaction chamber 101, with gaps 202 left between adjacent baffles 201. The tops of the baffles 201 forming each draft tube 2 are all horizontally aligned, and the bottoms of the baffles 201 are also horizontally aligned. The gaps 202 can be evenly distributed or unevenly distributed based on the distance from the inlet end of the first material inlet pipe 7 or the degree of reaction, to achieve maximum reaction efficiency. The draft tube 2 is fixed to the inner wall of the reactor shell 1 by fixings 3. The number of fixings 3 is the same as the number of baffles 201, and they correspond one-to-one. In a specific embodiment of the present application, there may be two draft tubes 2, each of which may be enclosed by six baffles 201. The corresponding number of fixing members 3 is also six, with one fixing member 3 fixing each baffle 201 to the inner wall of the reactor shell 1. During actual installation, each fixing member 3 may be first installed on the reactor shell 1, and then the multiple baffles 201 may be respectively installed on the corresponding fixing members 3.
[0056] Among them, another structural form of the guide tube 2 is: as shown in Figure 4, the guide tube 2 is a cylindrical barrel 203 arranged in the reaction chamber 101, and the barrel 203 is connected to the inner wall of the reactor shell 1 by a plurality of fixing parts 3 distributed along the circumference of the barrel 203. A plurality of vent holes 204 or vent grooves are arranged at intervals along the circumference of the barrel 203 to form the above-mentioned ventilation part. The plurality of vent holes 204 or vent grooves can be evenly distributed, or unevenly distributed according to the distance from the inlet end of the first material inlet pipe 7 or the degree of reaction to achieve maximum reaction efficiency. Among them, the number of fixing parts 3 is greater than or equal to 2 and is evenly distributed along the circumference of the barrel 203 to ensure the stable installation of the barrel 203.
[0057] In the present application, by setting the gap 202 or the vent hole 204 or the vent channel on the guide tube 2, the medium that mainly flows axially in the reaction chamber 101 can flow radially along the reaction chamber 101, realizing the re-cutting and crushing of the multiphase medium, enhancing the mixing effect between the first substance and the second substance, thereby strengthening the radial circulation, changing the situation in which the flow field in the traditional reactor is mainly axially circulated, avoiding the problem of local viscous flow and low mixing efficiency. The setting of the guide tube 2 can also weaken the wall effect, reduce the radial temperature gradient, and further enhance the mass transfer and heat transfer efficiency.
[0058] In an optional embodiment of the present application, as shown in Figures 1 and 5, the gas distributor includes a first gas distributor 4 and a second gas distributor 6 that are connected to a second material inlet pipe 8. The first gas distributor 4 is an annular hollow structure arranged along the circumference of the reaction chamber 101 (the first gas distributor 4 may also be referred to as an annular gas distributor) and has a plurality of first gas holes 401 therein. The second gas distributor 6 is a hollow tubular structure extending axially along the reaction chamber 101 (the second gas distributor 6 may also be referred to as an axial gas distributor) and has a plurality of second gas holes 601 therein. The first gas distributor 4 and the second gas distributor 6 are connected by a connecting pipe 5. The second material (e.g., air) delivered by the second material inlet pipe 8 enters the first gas distributor 4 and the second gas distributor 6, thereby enabling the second material to be distributed circumferentially and radially within the reaction chamber 101, making the second material more evenly distributed within the reaction chamber 101. By cooperating with the first gas distributor 4 and the second gas distributor 6, the second material output from the first air hole 401 and the second air hole 601 to the reaction chamber 101 exists in the form of a large number of small bubbles (diameter of 2 mm to 15 mm). When the feed amount of the second material remains unchanged, the surface area of the bubbles formed by the second material can be effectively increased, thereby increasing the contact area between the second material and the first material, improving the reaction efficiency, and making the reaction more thorough.
[0059] Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 2 and FIG. 5 , the first gas distributor 4 and the second gas distributor 6 can be coaxially arranged with the reactor shell 1 .
[0060] In an optional embodiment of the present application, the plurality of first air holes 401 may be evenly distributed on the first gas distributor 4, but the cross-sectional areas of the plurality of first air holes 401 corresponding to different regions (e.g., the plurality of first air holes 401 located at different heights in the axial direction) may be different. The plurality of second air holes 601 may be evenly distributed on the second gas distributor 6, but the cross-sectional areas of the plurality of second air holes 601 corresponding to different regions (e.g., the plurality of second air holes 601 located at different heights in the axial direction) may be different.
[0061] In this embodiment, as shown in Figures 2 and 5, there are multiple first gas distributors 4. The first gas distributors 4 include a bottom gas distributor located below the bottom draft tube 2 and an intermediate gas distributor located between two adjacent draft tubes 2. The bottom gas distributor and the intermediate gas distributor are respectively connected to the second gas distributor 6 through a connecting pipe 5. The connecting pipe 5 between the bottom gas distributor and the second gas distributor 6 is arranged to be inclined upward from the axis away from the reaction chamber 101 to the axis close to the reaction chamber 101, and the angle between the axis of the connecting pipe 5 and the axis of the reaction chamber 101 is greater than 0 and less than 90 degrees. Through the coordination of the draft tube 2 with the first gas distributor 4 and the second gas distributor 6, the reaction distribution in the axial direction of the traditional multiphase reactor is changed, effectively improving the reaction uniformity in all directions, greatly reducing the axial temperature gradient, and maximizing the utilization of raw materials, thereby reducing production costs.
[0062] Furthermore, there are multiple connecting pipes 5 connecting the first gas distributor 4 and the second gas distributor 6, and the multiple connecting pipes 5 are spaced and evenly arranged along the circumference of the first gas distributor 4 and the second gas distributor 6. Of course, the multiple connecting pipes 5 can also be unevenly distributed, but the first gas distributor 4 and the second gas distributor 6 must be stably connected.
[0063] Furthermore, as shown in Figures 2 and 5, the diameter of the bottom gas distributor is less than or equal to the inner diameter of draft tube 2, while the diameter of the intermediate gas distributor is greater than or equal to the outer diameter of draft tube 2. This allows the second material outputted by both the bottom and intermediate gas distributors to smoothly enter the circulation area located outside draft tube 2, ensuring that the flow direction of the outputted second material is consistent with the overall circulation direction of the medium within reaction chamber 101, as shown in Figure 5, thereby improving reaction efficiency.
[0064] In an optional embodiment of the present application, along the axial direction of the reaction chamber 101, the bottom of the second gas distributor 6 is connected to the bottom gas distributor through the connecting pipe 5, the second gas distributor 6 passes through the guide tube 2, and the top of the second gas distributor 6 extends at least to a position opposite to or close to the first material inlet pipe 7, ensuring that the second material output by the second gas distributor 6 can be evenly distributed in the axial direction of the reaction chamber 101 and fully mixed with the first material, thereby improving the reaction efficiency.
[0065] Furthermore, the number of the first material inlet pipes 7 is multiple, and the multiple first material inlet pipes 7 are arranged at intervals along the circumference of the reactor shell 1, and the outlet ends of the multiple first material inlet pipes 7 all extend to the inner side of the guide tube 2. Among them, the distance between the second gas distributor 6 and the outlet end of the first material inlet pipe 7 is 0.6 to 0.8 times the radius of the reactor shell 1. The outlet end of the material inlet pipe of the traditional multiphase reactor is too far from the gas inlet, the reaction time is too long, and the gas does not come into contact with enough materials in the first time, which will lead to a large proportion of gas at the gas inlet, an overreaction, and the production of a large amount of intermediate products, thereby affecting the efficiency of the reactor. The present application extends the first material inlet pipe 7 inside the inner side of the guide tube 2, which can effectively reduce the above-mentioned influencing factors and greatly improve the reaction efficiency and reaction quality. In addition, if heat is generated when the first material reacts with the second material, the first material inlet pipe 7 extending inside the inner side of the guide tube 2 can also make the reaction area away from the inner wall surface of the reactor shell 1, preventing local thermal stress from being too large, resulting in local material failure, and affecting the stable operation of the multiphase reactor.
[0066] In an optional embodiment of the present application, as shown in FIG2 and FIG5 , a demister 9 is provided in the reaction chamber 101 at or near the top thereof to remove mist.
[0067] The characteristics and advantages of the multiphase reactor of this application are:
[0068] 1. In this multiphase reactor, a draft tube 2 may be provided in the reactor shell 1. The provision of the draft tube 2 can promote the axial flow of the medium in the reactor shell 1. A plurality of vents are arranged on the draft tube 2 along the circumference of the reactor shell 1. The vents can cut and crush the medium flowing in the reaction chamber 101, thereby achieving re-cutting and crushing of the multiphase medium, enhancing the mixing effect, effectively eliminating local viscous flow in the reaction chamber 101, making the medium mixing more efficient and rapid, and at the same time reducing the wall effect, enhancing the mass transfer and heat transfer of the medium, and improving the reaction effect.
[0069] Second, the multiphase reactor utilizes a combination of a gas distributor and a draft tube 2 to distribute the first material and the second material more evenly, thereby maximizing the reaction efficiency while effectively reducing the temperature gradient in the reaction chamber 101, avoiding the occurrence of excessive local temperature difference stress, making the reaction field more uniform, and making the reaction in the reaction chamber 101 more thorough, thereby improving the reaction efficiency of the multiphase reactor, effectively reducing raw material consumption, and ensuring the safe and stable progress of the reaction.
[0070] 3. The multiphase reactor cooperates with the first gas distributor 4 and the second gas distributor 6 to refine the generated bubbles and optimize the distribution of the gas in the reaction chamber 101. At the same time, the setting of the guide tube 2 is used to transport the reaction materials to the central area of the reactor shell 1 or a position near the central area, because the diameter of the guide tube 2 is smaller than the diameter of the reactor shell 1; in addition, the setting of the first material inlet pipe 7 distributed along the circumference of the reactor shell 1 also makes the material entering the reaction chamber 101 more uniform. At the same time, the setting of the guide tube 2 can partition the reaction chamber 101, and the media in different areas can have different flow directions (as shown in Figure 5, the medium in the central area inside the guide tube 2 flows upward, and the medium in the annular flow area outside the guide tube 2 flows downward), forming the circulation of the medium in the reaction chamber 101. The multiple vents arranged on the guide tube 2 can promote the radial flow of the medium in the reaction chamber 101, and further refine the bubbles through collision, shearing and other effects, optimize the distribution of the medium, and improve the uniformity of the reaction.
[0071] The above description is only an illustrative embodiment of the present application and is not intended to limit the scope of the present application. Any equivalent changes and modifications made by any person skilled in the art without departing from the concept and principle of the present application shall fall within the scope of protection of the present application.
