Abstract
Description
Washbasin assist stand
[0001] This article is about a washbasin and foot bathing aid.
[0002] As we enter an aging society, the number of people with weak backs or back problems is increasing. Especially these days, with the Westernization of bathroom culture, it's common to wash your face or hair at the sink. This requires bending over, which puts strain on the back and can have long-term negative effects on back health. For those with weak backs or herniated discs, bending over is the worst posture, yet it's an unavoidable part of daily life. While bending over with the correct posture is possible, maintaining that posture while washing or washing your hair can be challenging on a daily basis. Consequently, many people wash their face or hair on the bathroom floor, but this posture is also detrimental to the back and should be avoided.
[0003] Accordingly, the need for a support bar, allowing users to lean against their chest while washing their face or feet while standing at the sink, without straining their backs, has grown. A patent for such a bar has already been issued. However, existing patents for such bar-type supports have been difficult to commercialize because they require attachment to a wall or sink.
[0004] For example, a foldable upper body support has previously been disclosed. The disclosed foldable upper body support is an support that allows the user to wash their face or hair by stepping on a horizontal support at the bottom with both feet and leaning their chest against a cushion provided at the top of the support.
[0005] However, the disclosed foldable upper body support has the problem that the user's degree of freedom in body size and posture is low because the user must always step on the horizontal footrest bar at the bottom of the support bar with both feet to prevent the support bar from tipping over, so the gap between the fixed foot position and the position of the cushion is narrow and the angle at which the lower support bar is spread must be fixed. In addition, there is a limit to how much the user can bend over to narrow the height difference between the user's head and the sink. For example, the more the user bends over while stepping on the horizontal footrest bar with their feet, or the more the user lowers the position of the cushion, the more their hips fall backward, which can cause their back and neck to bend further.
[0006] The background technology of this invention is disclosed in Patent Registration No. 10-2514420.
[0007] The present invention aims to solve the problems of the prior art described above, and to provide a washbasin foot support that can be fixed to the floor while ensuring the freedom of the user's feet.
[0008] However, the technical tasks that the embodiments of the present invention seek to achieve are not limited to the technical tasks described above, and other technical tasks may exist.
[0009] As a technical means for achieving the above-mentioned technical task, a wash basin assist device according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a suction plate fixed to the floor; a pipe structure extending upward from the suction plate; a breast support cushion provided on the upper side of the pipe structure; and a cushion connecting portion connecting the breast support cushion and the pipe structure, wherein the suction plate can be fixed by suction to the floor.
[0010] According to the aforementioned solution to the problem of this invention, since the device can be fixed to the floor by a suction footrest, the user can adjust the position of the feet on the floor, for example, forward, backward, left, and right, to suit the user's body. Accordingly, a washbasin footrest that ensures the user's freedom of foot movement can be implemented.

However, in various practical applications of the embodiments of the present invention, the arrangement may be in various directions, such as the upper side being arranged downward.
[0026] This article is about a washbasin and foot bathing aid.
[0027] Hereinafter, a washing basin assist device (hereinafter referred to as “the assist device”) according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described.
[0028] Referring to Fig. 1, the support includes a suction plate (1) that is fixed to the floor. The suction plate (1) can be attached to the floor due to a vacuum between the floor and the suction plate (1). In addition, the suction plate (1) can be detached from the floor when an external force is applied. Accordingly, the support can be fixed to the floor or removed from the floor. A conventional suction plate can be applied as the suction plate (1), and various types of suction plates can be used as the suction plate (1). For example, the suction plate (1) can include a foot plate made of ABS material and a rubber plate for cushioning. As described above, the suction plate (1) is fixed to the floor by suction. Accordingly, the suction plate (1) can be fixed in position without slipping on the bathroom floor, even at various angles of the user's body.
[0029] Also, referring to FIG. 1, the auxiliary device includes a pipe structure (2). The pipe structure (2) extends upward from the suction base (1). The pipe structure (1) is height-adjustable.
[0030] For example, referring to FIG. 1, the pipe structure (2) may include a lower pipe (21) having a lower portion coupled to a suction base (1) and extending upward from the suction base (1). The lower pipe (21) may be a pipe of various shapes, such as a square pipe having a square cross-section or a circular pipe having a circular cross-section. In addition, the lower pipe (21) may have a hollow portion formed in a longitudinal direction (up and down direction). In addition, the pipe structure (2) may include an upper pipe (22). The upper pipe (22) may be a pipe of various shapes, such as a square pipe having a square cross-section or a circular pipe having a circular cross-section. In addition, at least a portion of the lower portion of the upper pipe (22) may be downwardly inserted into the hollow portion of the lower pipe (21). Accordingly, the length of the pipe structure (2) may be adjusted depending on the amount of insertion into the hollow portion of the upper pipe (22). For example, if the insertion amount is large, the upper protrusion amount of the hollow portion of the upper pipe (22) is small, so the length of the pipe structure (2) can be small, and if the insertion amount is small, the upper protrusion amount of the hollow portion of the upper pipe (22) is large, so the length of the pipe structure (2) can be large. In addition, a plurality of holes (219) can be formed at intervals in the longitudinal direction in the lower pipe (21), a plurality of holes can be formed at intervals in the longitudinal direction in the lower portion of the upper pipe (22), and at least a portion of the upper pipe (22) can be inserted downward into the hollow portion such that one of the plurality of holes of the upper pipe (22) overlaps one of the plurality of holes of the lower pipe (21) (the intervals between the plurality of holes of the upper pipe (22) and the intervals between the plurality of holes of the lower pipe (21) can correspond (be the same within a range of error)).One of the plurality of holes (219) of the lower pipe (21) and one of the plurality of holes of the upper pipe (22) are arranged to overlap each other, and the insertion position of the lower pipe (21) into the upper pipe (22) can be fixed by a button pin (211) that simultaneously penetrates the overlapping holes, and the adjusted length can be fixed by adjusting the position of the overlapping holes. For this purpose, the pipe structure (2) can include a button pin (211).
[0031] Or as another example, referring to FIGS. 2 and 3, the pipe structure (2) includes a lower pipe (21) in which a hollow portion is formed in the longitudinal direction and an upper pipe (22) in which at least a portion is downwardly inserted into the hollow portion (the upper pipe (22) may also have a hollow portion formed in the longitudinal direction), wherein the length of the pipe structure (2) can be adjusted by rotating the upper pipe (22) relative to the lower pipe (21). For example, the lower portion of the upper pipe (22) is inserted into the hollow portion of the lower pipe (21), and the lower portion of the upper pipe (22) and the lower pipe (21) can be screw-joined, and the length of the pipe structure (2) can be increased or decreased depending on the amount of screw-joining. For example, when the upper pipe (22) is rotated in one direction of its circumferential direction relative to the lower pipe (21), the screw engagement amount increases and the amount of insertion of the upper pipe (22) into the hollow portion of the lower pipe (21) increases, so that the length of the pipe structure (2) can be reduced, and when the upper pipe (22) is rotated in the other direction of its circumferential direction relative to the lower pipe (21), the screw engagement amount decreases and the amount of insertion of the upper pipe (22) into the hollow portion of the lower pipe (21) decreases, so that the length of the pipe structure (2) can be increased.
[0032] Also, referring to Fig. 1, the support may include a chest cushion (3). The chest cushion (3) is provided on the upper side of the pipe structure (2). The chest cushion (3) may be provided to support the user's chest when the support is used. The cross-section of the chest cushion (3) may be a rectangular shape (approximately 180*250), and the chest cushion (3) may include at least one of polyurethane and an aluminum plate that are not wettable or slippery, for example, an aluminum plate may form a hexahedron to form the chest cushion (3). Alternatively, as another example, referring to Fig. 3, the chest cushion (3) may include a plate (32) and a cushion portion (31) provided on the plate (32). The cushion portion (31) may include a waterproof outer shell and an inner member within the outer shell. The inner member may be made of a member that provides a cushioning feeling or an elastic feeling. In addition, the chest cushion (3) can be formed in various shapes.
[0033] According to this support, the length of the pipe structure (2) is adjustable, so the length of this support can be adjusted according to the user's body, and the chest support cushion (3) can be used in a position that suits the user's body.
[0034] In addition, as another example of the pipe structure (2), referring to Fig. 4, the lower pipe (21) may include a plurality of pipe units (25) that are mutually separable. Accordingly, storage may be easier.
[0035] In addition, referring to Fig. 1, the support includes a cushion connection part (4) connecting a chest cushion (3) and a pipe structure (2). The cushion connection part (4) may be a plate, and may be made of a material including an aluminum alloy material. In addition, the cushion connection part (4) may be used by being fixed at a right angle so that the center of gravity is directed toward the suction foot plate (1). In addition, the cushion connection part (4) may be hinged (41) to the upper pipe (22). In addition, a first fixing hole (42) and a second fixing hole (43) may be formed on the lower side and the front side, respectively, of the hinged portion of the cushion connection part (4), and a fixing hole may be formed on the upper side of the upper pipe (22). The cushion connecting portion (3) may be arranged so that the first fixing hole (42) and the fixing hole of the upper pipe overlap each other, and the fixing pin (44) may be arranged to penetrate the first fixing hole (42) and the fixing hole of the upper pipe. In this case, the chest cushion (3) may have its upper surface facing upward, and the cushion connecting portion (4) may be fixed to the upper pipe (in use). In addition, the cushion connecting portion (3) may be arranged so that the second fixing hole (43) and the fixing hole of the upper pipe overlap each other, and the fixing pin (44) may be arranged to penetrate the second fixing hole (43) and the fixing hole of the upper pipe. In this case, the chest cushion (3) may have its upper surface facing forward, and the cushion connecting portion (4) may be fixed to the upper pipe (in storage). Accordingly, the support may have a storage state or a use state, as needed. That is, when not in use, this support can be folded and stored with the chest cushion (3) facing forward.
[0036] In addition, as another example, referring to FIGS. 5 and 6 together, the cushion connection part (4) may include an upper connection part (45) located on the lower side of the chest cushion (3) and to which the chest cushion (3) is connected, and a lower connection part (47) connecting the upper connection part (45) and the pipe structure (2), such that the upper connection part (45) is hinge-connected (451) so that the upper connection part (45) can rotate about the rotation axis in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the pipe structure (2) (for example, a left-right direction perpendicular to the front-back direction (9 o'clock-3 o'clock direction) referring to FIG. 5). The lower fastening portion (47) can be formed with a receiving space (471) that is sunken downward, and the upper fastening portion (45) is inserted into the receiving space (471), and the upper fastening portion (45) and the lower fastening portion (47) are fastened with a hinge axis crossing the overlapping portion so that the hinge fastening between the upper fastening portion (45) and the lower fastening portion (47) can be performed. Accordingly, the chest support cushion (3) can be rotated in a direction perpendicular to the up-and-down direction (for example, toward the forward (3 o'clock direction, see FIG. 5) or the rearward (9 o'clock direction, see FIG. 5)) by the hinge connection (451) of the upper fastening portion (45) to the lower fastening portion (47).
[0037] Also, referring to FIG. 5, the cushion connection member (4) may include a cover (46) that selectively limits the rotation of the upper fastening member (45) within a first angular range toward one of the forward and rearward directions and does not limit the rotation within a second angular range toward the other of the forward and rearward directions. The first angular range may be greater than the second angular range. Also, the cover (46) may have a use state in which it surrounds the upper fastening member (45), the lower fastening member (46), and the upper end of the pipe structure (2) so as to limit the rotation of the upper fastening member (45) within the first angular range. Also, the cover (46) may be movable up and down so as to move downward from the use state and have a storage state in which it is positioned lower than the initial state so as to allow the rotation of the upper fastening member (45) within the first angular range. In the storage state, the upper fastening portion (45) can be positioned at a lower height than the upper fastening portion (45) so that the upper fastening portion (45) can rotate within the first angle range (a). In addition, the upper fastening portion (45) can rotate within the second angle range during the storage state and the use state of the cover (46).
[0038] Additionally, the cushion connecting portion (4) may include an elastic member (461) that guides the transition from a storage state to a use state of the cover (46).
[0039] Specifically, an annular protrusion (227) that protrudes outward from the outer surface and extends along the circumference may be formed at a portion located on the lower side of the lower fastening portion (47) of the upper pipe (22). In addition, the cover (46) can be arranged to surround the upper fastening portion (45), the lower fastening portion (47) and the protrusion (227) when the chest cushion (3) is in a horizontal state (a state during use (as shown in FIG. 5), and as shown in FIG. 5, the cover (46) can have an annular chin portion (462) formed inwardly on a portion of the remaining portion except for the upper and lower portions and extending in the circumferential direction of the cover (46), and an elastic member (e.g., a spring) can be provided between the chin portion (462) and the protrusion portion (227) and between the chin portion (462) and the chest cushion (3). In addition, the cover (46) can be provided to be able to move up and down. In addition, the cover (46) can move downward below a height that does not interfere with the rotation of the chest cushion (3).
[0040] Accordingly, referring to FIG. 5, when the user moves the cover (46) downward, the elastic member (461) is elastically compressed and the cover (46) can be moved downward, and the upper fastening portion (45) can be folded by rotating in the front-back direction around the hinged rotation axis (451). Accordingly, referring to FIG. 4, the chest support cushion (3) can be folded by rotating at a preset angle (first angle range) (a) (for example, 90°). In addition, even if the cover (46) is moved downward, it can be moved upward by the elastic restoring force of the elastic member (461) and returned to its position, so that the cover (46) can be converted to a use state.
[0041] In addition, referring to FIGS. 5 and 7, the cover (46) may have a recessed portion formed on the upper portion that recesses downward from the upper surface. The recessed portion may be formed to a size that allows the upper fastening portion (45) to pass through so that the breast support cushion (3) can rotate within the second angle range (b) even when the cover (46) does not move downward. Accordingly, referring to FIG. 4, the upper fastening portion (46) can rotate within a preset angle range (the second angle range) (b) according to an external force applied even when the cover (46) does not move downward. Accordingly, when the user uses the auxiliary device, the breast support cushion (3) can rotate according to the user's movement, making it easy to use.
[0042] In addition, referring to FIGS. 1 to 3, the chest cushion (3) can be fixed at a right angle to the longitudinal direction of the pipe structure (2) when in use, so that the center of gravity of the user's upper body can be stably supported even in various poses of the user.
[0043] In addition, referring to FIGS. 1 to 4, the auxiliary device may include a foot joint structure (5) connecting the suction foot (1) and the lower part of the pipe structure (2).
[0044] Referring to FIG. 8, the foot joint structure (5) may include a spherical joint ball (51), a joint ring (52) extending upward from the joint ball (51), and a connecting portion (53) connecting the joint ring (52) and the lower portion of the pipe structure (2) (the lower portion of the lower pipe (21)). In addition, referring to FIG. 7, a reinforcing portion (56) may be formed at the lower portion of the joint ring (52). The reinforcing portion (56) may have a larger diameter than the joint ring (52). In addition, for reference, although the joint ball (51) is spherical, since the joint ring (52) extends upward from the upper portion of the joint ball (51), the joint ball (51) may not be formed in a completely spherical shape. That is, the joint ball (51) may have a shape in which at least a portion has at least a portion of a sphere.
[0045] In addition, referring to FIG. 8, the suction base (1) may be formed with an insertion groove (15) into which the joint ball (51) is inserted so as to be engaged with the joint ball (51) on the upper portion. Accordingly, the joint ball (51) may be rotated within a range in which the joint base (52) or the reinforcing member (56) does not interfere with the suction base (1) or the joint ball holder (54) described later, and the joint base (52) may be moved according to the rotation of the joint ball (51), and the lower pipe (21) may be inclined in its circumferential direction according to the movement of the joint base (52). That is, the pipe structure (2) may be inclined in one direction in the circumferential direction of the pipe structure (2) according to an external force applied thereto.
[0046] In addition, referring to FIG. 8, the footrest joint structure (5) may include an elastic cover (55) that is arranged to wrap the upper portion and connecting portion (53) of the suction footrest (1) in the circumferential direction of the suction footrest (1). The elastic cover (55) may be made of a material including at least one of rubber, silicone, etc.
[0047] Referring to FIG. 8, the elastic cover (55) can be fixed to the suction foot (1) and the connecting portion (53) so that the joint ball (51) does not rotate about the up-and-down direction as the rotation axis, and so that the relative rotation about the up-and-down direction with respect to the suction foot (1) does not occur. In addition, the joint ball (51) can rotate within the insertion groove (15) within a range not limited by the elastic cover (55). In addition, the pipe structure (2) can be tilted horizontally at an angle with respect to the up-and-down direction by the rotation of the joint ball (51). In other words, the joint ball (51) may not rotate about the up-and-down direction as the rotation axis, and the pipe structure (2) can rotate so as to tilt in one direction in the circumferential direction of the pipe structure (2) depending on an external force applied. At this time, since the joint (51) cannot rotate about the up-down direction as the rotation axis due to the elastic cover (55), the pipe structure (2) can stably tilt in one direction around the circumference of the pipe structure (2) according to the external force applied.
[0048] The elastic cover (55) may be made of a material including at least one of rubber, silicone, etc. The elastic cover (55) may have elasticity, and thus, may be deformed and respond to the inclination of the pipe structure (2), and may be elastically restored when the external force is removed, thereby allowing the pipe structure (2) to be in an upright state.
[0049] Also, referring to FIG. 8, the joint (52) can extend upward from the uppermost portion of the joint cavity (51).
[0050] In addition, referring to FIG. 8, the foot joint structure (5) may include a foot joint holder (54) that is fixed to the suction foot (1) and is provided to extend and wrap around at least a portion of a portion located between the upper and lower middle height that crosses the center point of the foot joint (51) on the upper side of the suction foot (1) and the uppermost part of the foot joint (51). The foot joint holder (54) may be fixed to the suction foot (1) by a fastening unit (e.g., a screw member) (541). In addition, the foot joint holder (54) may have a donut-shaped horizontal cross section. That is, the foot joint (51) may be rotated inside the insertion groove (15) and inside the foot joint holder (54).
[0051] In addition, referring to FIG. 8, the insertion groove (15) can be formed so that a portion having a lower height than the portion wrapped around the joint holder (54) of the joint ball (51) is inserted into the insertion groove (15). In other words, the joint holder (54) can be placed on the upper side of the suction foot (1) and fixed to the suction foot (1).
[0052] Also, referring to FIG. 8, the upper surface (542) of the joint holder (54) may be a sloped surface whose height decreases as it faces inward toward the joint ball (51). The angle of the slope may be set in consideration of a preset angle that the joint base (52) may have with respect to the up-and-down direction in an inclined state. Referring to FIG. 7, the inclination of the joint base (52) (the inclination of the pipe structure (2)) may be possible within a range in which the joint base (52) is not restricted by the joint ball holder (54). Accordingly, the inclination of the pipe structure (2) with respect to the up-and-down direction may be performed within an angle range formed by the up-and-down direction and the upper surface (542) of the joint ball holder (54). Taking this into consideration, the angle formed by the upper surface (542) of the joint holder (54) with respect to the up-down direction can be set so that the pipe structure (2) is inclined at the maximum angle (set by the manufacturer) considering the maximum angle formed by the joint (52) with respect to the up-down direction.
[0053] Also, for reference, referring to FIG. 8, the joint member (52) may be upwardly inserted into the hollow portion of the lower pipe (21), and the connecting portion (53) may include a housing (531) that surrounds the upper portion of the joint member (52) and is partially disposed between the joint member (52) and the lower pipe (21). The lower pipe (21) may be connected to the housing (531) by a fastening unit (e.g., a screw member) (532). In addition, the joint member (52) may be provided with a joint member bolt (534) and a joint member nut (533) that is screw-connected to the joint member bolt (534). In addition, a compression spring (57) for cushioning may be provided in a compressed state between the housing (531) and the reinforcing member (56).
[0054] Additionally, as another example, the footrest joint structure (5) may be as follows.
[0055] Referring to Fig. 9, the foot joint structure (5) can connect the suction foot (1) and the lower part of the pipe structure (2).
[0056] The footrest joint structure (5) may include a first rotating portion (581) coupled to the upper portion of the suction footrest (1) so as to be rotatable about the vertical direction relative to the suction footrest (1). For example, the suction footrest (1) may be provided with a fastening portion (19) protruding from the upper surface of the suction footrest (1), and the first rotating portion (581) may be provided to surround the outer surface of the fastening portion (19) so as to be able to engage with the fastening portion (19) so as to be able to rotate 360° in the circumferential direction relative to the fastening portion (19). To this end, the first rotating portion (581) may be formed with an annular protruding engaging portion (5811) that protrudes toward the fastening portion (19) and extends in the circumferential direction, and the fastening portion (19) may be formed with a recessed portion that engages with the protruding engaging portion (5811). By rotating the fastening member (19) of the first rotating member (581), the pipe structure (2) can rotate in the circumferential direction.
[0057] In addition, referring to FIG. 9, the foot joint structure (5) may include a coupling portion (582) coupled to the lower portion of the pipe structure (2). In addition, the foot joint structure (5) may include a hinge coupling portion (583) that hinge-couples the coupling portion (582) to the first rotary portion (581) so that the coupling portion (582) can rotate relatively to one side and the other side with respect to the first rotary portion (581). By the hinge coupling portion (583), the pipe structure (2) can be tilted to one side and the other side, and the direction of tilting by the rotation of the first rotary portion (581) can be adjusted to one of the circumferential directions of the pipe structure (2).
[0058] In addition, the coupling portion (582) may include a joint plate (5822), a cover (5821) that is provided to surround the upper portion of the joint plate (5822) and at least a portion of which is interposed between the joint plate (5822) and the lower pipe (21). In addition, the cover (5821) may be provided so that the upper portion forms a gap vertically with the joint plate (5822), and an elastic member (5825) for cushioning (e.g., a compression spring) may be provided between the cover (5821) and the joint plate (5822). In addition, the coupling portion (582) may include a joint plate bolt (5823) that extends upward from the joint plate (5822) and penetrates the upper portion of the cover (5821), and a joint plate nut (5824) that is provided on the upper side of the cover (5821) and screw-connects with the joint plate bolt (5823).
[0059] As described above, the compression spring (57, 5825) may be provided to provide an appropriate cushioning effect so as to prevent shock to the body when the foot joint structure (5) is pressed by the weight of the body. In addition, the joint hole (54) may cover the joint hole (51) to prevent it from being detached from the foot plate (1).
[0060] In addition, according to the above, the present support is a support having a function of allowing the chest to be leaned on in order to achieve the purpose of alleviating the problem of the spine being strained due to the waist naturally being bent when washing the face and feet, and the support can be provided by being fixed to a desired point on the bathroom floor with an adsorption footrest (1) so that the position of the feet and the angle of the body can be freely adjusted to stably lean the chest on the chest support cushion (3) of the support. According to this, the present support is provided with an adsorption footrest (1) that is adsorption-fixed to a slippery bathroom floor, and the adsorption footrest (1) is connected to the adsorption footrest (1) by a footrest joint structure (5) that allows the pipe structure (2) to be tilted within a limited angle range so as to adapt to variable positions of the upper body and feet, and a rectangular chest support cushion (3) that allows the chest to be comfortably leaned on and the body weight to be distributed can be provided on the upper end of the pipe structure (2). In addition, according to this auxiliary device, since the position is fixed by the suction foot (1), it is easy to move to anywhere on the bathroom floor.
[0061] Also, referring to FIG. 10, in this auxiliary device, the upper pipe (22) can be automatically adjusted in length.
[0062] For example, referring to FIG. 10, the upper pipe (22) may include a lower pipe unit (221) and an upper pipe unit (222), and may include an increasing / decreasing structure (23) that connects the lower pipe unit (221) and the upper pipe unit (222) and adjusts the gap between the lower pipe unit (221) and the upper pipe unit (222) by increasing / decreasing the length, thereby adjusting the length of each of the left side (22) and the right side (13).
[0063] Referring to FIG. 10, the increase / decrease structure (23) may include an SMA spring (Shape Memory Alloy Spring) (231).
[0064] The SMA spring (231) is connected to the vortex generating unit (11) and is set to contract forward in a first state of low temperature based on a preset temperature (see (a) of FIG. 10) and to extend backward in a second state of high temperature (see (b) of FIG. 10).
[0065] That is, the SMA spring (231) may have a shape memory effect in which, when an external force is applied in a first state that is lower than a preset temperature, it cannot maintain its initial shape and can be deformed according to the applied external force, and when it is in a second state that is higher than the preset temperature, it attempts to return to its initial shape. Accordingly, the spring constant of the SMA spring (231) in the first state (a low-temperature state in which it is easily deformed according to the application of an external force) may be smaller than the spring constant of the SMA spring (231) in the second state (a state in which it attempts to maintain its initial shape).
[0066] When heat is applied to the SMA spring (231) in the low-temperature state (first state) of Fig. 10 (a) and the SMA spring (231) reaches a high-temperature state (second state) higher than a preset temperature, the increasing / decreasing structure (23) can be linearly driven backward while being relatively elongated compared to the SMA spring (231) in the first state according to the characteristic of returning to the shape before deformation (initial shape) (driving from Fig. 10 (a) to Fig. 10 (b)).
[0067] Conversely, when the SMA spring (231) in the high temperature state (second state) of (b) of 6 is cooled and reaches a low temperature state (first state) lower than the preset temperature, the SMA spring (231) has a characteristic of not being able to maintain its initial shape by an applied external force and is easily deformed, so that the increasing / decreasing structure (23) can be linearly driven forward while relatively contracting compared to the SMA spring (231) in the second state (driving from (b) of FIG. 10 to (a) of FIG. 10).
[0068] The present invention can control the length of the shape memory increasing / decreasing structure forward and backward by controlling the temperature of the SMA spring (231) having the characteristics described above, thereby controlling the length of the left side (22) and the right side (13) in the forward and backward direction. Accordingly, the present invention can actively control the length of the left side (22) and the right side (13) in the forward and backward direction by controlling the temperature without an additional mechanical device using the SMA spring (231).
[0069] Also, referring to FIG. 10, the increasing / decreasing structure (23) may include a general spring (233). The general spring (233) is configured to be placed on an SMA spring (231).
[0070] A general spring (233) can be said to be a typical spring configuration that is compressed according to the spring constant when an external force is applied, and elastically restored when the external force is removed. The SMA spring (231) can also undergo compression deformation and restoration deformation like the general spring (233) at a high temperature (second state) where it tries to maintain its initial shape. However, as described above, the SMA spring (231) can be converted into a state having a spring constant lower than the spring constant in the initial shape (a state easily deformed by an external force) as the shape memory effect disappears at a low temperature lower than the preset temperature.
[0071] Additionally, the spring constant of the general spring (233) can be set to be larger than the spring constant of the SMA spring (231) when it is in the first state and smaller than the spring constant of the SMA spring (231) when it is in the second state.
[0072] Also, referring to FIG. 10, the increasing / decreasing structure (23) can be accommodated in the lower pipe unit (221). A groove (2219) that is recessed from the rear to the front can be formed in the front member (221), an SMA spring (231) and a general spring (233) can be placed in the groove (2219), and a rear member (222) can be coupled to the rear end of a connecting rod (237) described later.
[0073] The front-back length of the home (2219) can be set to be smaller than the sum of the length of the SMA spring (231) in the second state and the length of the general spring (233) in the state without external force. Accordingly, referring to (b) of FIG. 10, the SMA spring (231) in the second state and the general spring (233) can be arranged in a compressed state of a predetermined amount or more within the home (2219).
[0074] Since the SMA spring (231) and the general spring (233) in the second state can be arranged in a compressed state in the internal space of the home (2219), when the SMA spring (231) in the high temperature state (second state) of Fig. 10 (b) is cooled and the SMA spring (231) reaches a low temperature state (first state) lower than a preset temperature, the general spring (233) in the compressed state can apply an external force forward to the SMA spring (231) according to the amount of compression and the spring constant of the general spring (233). Accordingly, as described above, the SMA spring (231) in the first state, which has a characteristic of being easily deformed, can be relatively contracted compared to the SMA spring (231) in the second state due to the external force applied to the general spring (231), and through this process, the increasing / decreasing structure (23) can be linearly driven forward.
[0075] That is, when the SMA spring (231) in the second state of Fig. 10 (b) reaches the first state, the SMA spring (231) in the first state can be compressed and deformed by the restoring force of the general spring (233). At this time, since the restoring force of the general spring (233) is applied to the SMA spring (231) in the first state, the SMA spring (231) in the first state can be immediately deformed in shape (compressed and deformed). That is, by using the general spring (233) together with the SMA spring (231), the speed of the drive (the drive from Fig. 10 (b) to Fig. 10 (a)) in which the protruded vortex generator is restored to the non-protruded state can be increased.
[0076] In addition, when the SMA spring (231) in the first state of Fig. 10 (a) reaches the second state of Fig. 10 (b), the SMA spring (231) in the second state can compressively deform the general spring (233) while restoring its shape to its original shape (initial shape).
[0077] When heat is applied to the SMA spring (231) in the low-temperature state (first state) of Fig. 10 (a) so that the SMA spring (231) reaches a high-temperature state (second state) higher than a preset temperature, the SMA spring (231) in the second state is restored in a direction in which it is relatively extended compared to the SMA spring (231) in the first state according to the characteristic of returning to the shape before being deformed (initial shape). In the process in which the SMA spring (231) in the second state is extended, an external force may be applied backward to the general spring (233) so that the general spring (233) may be compressively deformed. Through this process, the vortex generating unit (11) linked to the movement of the moving block (235) on the upper side of the SMA spring (231) may be linearly moved upward.
[0078] The length in the front-back direction of the internal space of the groove (2219), the length and spring constant of the SMA spring (231), and the length and spring constant of the general spring (233) can be set so that in a first state, a part of the connecting rod (237) located within the groove (2219) does not protrude rearward from the groove (2219), and in a second state, a part of the connecting rod (237) located within the groove (2219) protrudes rearward from the groove (2219). That is, according to the shape and size of the increasing / decreasing structure (23), the vertical length of the internal space of the groove (2219), the length and spring constant of the SMA spring (231), and the length and spring constant of the general spring (233) are set, so that the operating displacement of the shape memory linear actuator (1) can be controlled due to the mutual relationship of these variables.
[0079] In addition, as shown in (a) and (b) of FIG. 10, the increasing / decreasing structure (23) may include a moving block (235) and a connecting rod (237). The moving block (235) may be interposed between the SMA spring (231) and the general spring (233). In addition, the connecting rod (237) may cause the vortex generating unit (11) to move linearly according to the vertical movement of the moving block (235).
[0080] As described above, when the SMA spring (231) in the first state of Fig. 10 (a) reaches the second state of Fig. 10 (b), its shape is restored in a direction that is relatively extended compared to when it was in the first state, and the general spring (233) is relatively compressed, so that the moving block (235) and the connecting rod (237) can move rearward. Accordingly, the front-back lengths of the left side (22) and the right side (13) can be lengthened.
[0081] Conversely, when the SMA spring (231) in the second state of Fig. 10 (b) reaches the first state of Fig. 10 (a), the SMA spring (231) is compressed forward by the restoring force of the general spring (233) that was compressed in response to the original shape (initial shape) of the SMA spring (231), so that the moving block (235) and the connecting rod (237) can move forward in conjunction with this. Accordingly, the front-back lengths of the left side (22) and the right side (13) can be shortened (restored to the initial length).
[0082] In addition, as shown in (a) and (b) of FIG. 10, the connecting rod (237) can be formed to extend through the internal space of the general spring (233). By arranging the connecting rod (237) by utilizing the internal space of the general spring (233), the increasing / decreasing structure (23) can be provided in a more compact form.
[0083] Additionally, referring to (a) and (b) of FIG. 10, the increasing / decreasing structure (23) may include a heater unit (232).
[0084] The heater unit (232) can selectively place the SMA spring (231) in a first state or a second state. For example, the heater unit (232) can generate heat so that the SMA spring (231) is placed in a second state, which is a high temperature state. In addition, the heater unit (232) can turn off the heating function so that the SMA spring (231) is placed in a first state, which is a low temperature state. By means of the heater unit (232), the vortex generator (1) can be operated without the need for an additional device.
[0085] As shown in (a) and (b) of FIG. 10, the heater unit (232) may be provided in a stick shape. In addition, as shown in (a) and (b) of FIG. 10, the heater unit (232) may be arranged by utilizing the internal space of the SMA spring (231) so that the circumference of the stick shape is wrapped by the SMA spring (231).
[0086] Accordingly, the increase / decrease structure (23) can be formed compactly while allowing the temperature change of the heater unit (232) to be easily transmitted to the SMA spring (231).
[0087] In addition, as shown in (a) of FIG. 10, the heater unit (232) may be provided with a length less than or equal to the length when the SMA spring (231) is contracted forward in the first state. If the heater unit (232) is provided with a length exceeding the length when the SMA spring (231) is contracted forward in the first state, the moving block (235) and the heater unit (232) may come into contact when the SMA spring (231) is contracted downward. Therefore, in order to prevent interference between the heater unit (232) and the moving block (235) from occurring, it is preferable that the heater unit (232) be provided with a length less than or equal to the length when the SMA spring (231) is contracted forward in the first state.
[0088] Alternatively, the heater unit (232) may be provided as a heating / cooling unit (232). The heating / cooling unit (232) may be selectively heated or cooled, for example, a Peltier element. When the Peltier element operates in a heating manner, the SMA spring (231) may be heated, and when the Peltier element operates in a cooling manner, the SMA spring (231) may be cooled. The Peltier element is obvious to those skilled in the art, so a detailed description thereof will be omitted. In addition, the auxiliary device may include a controller that controls the Peltier element.
[0089] For reference, since this support supports the user's body, it is important to ensure a cushioned feel. According to this support, the upper pipe (22) is adjusted in length by an increase / decrease structure (23) including a general spring (233) and an SMA spring (231), so that even a cushioned feel can be secured. In addition, the increase / decrease structure (23) can be used to adjust small length changes in the pipe structure (2). Accordingly, FIG. 10 may be an exaggerated illustration of the length change caused by the increase / decrease structure (23).
[0090] The above description of the present invention is for illustrative purposes only, and those skilled in the art will readily appreciate that the present invention can be readily modified into other specific forms without altering the technical spirit or essential characteristics of the present invention. Therefore, the embodiments described above should be understood as illustrative in all respects and not restrictive.
