Abstract
Description
[0001] PACKAGING SEALING UNIT
[0002] TECHNICAL FIELD
[0003] The invention relates to a packaging sealing unit that can be associated with mattress packing machines to ensure the packing of mattresses.
[0004] PRIOR ART
[0005] The mattresses are covered with packaging materials made of plastic material in order to prevent contamination during transportation from production to sale and to the end user. In addition, the mattresses are compressed and reduced in size and are packed with the internal air evacuated. in order to ensure that they take up less space during transportation. Afterwards, if desired, they can be rolled into a roll to ensure easy transportation.
[0006] While performing said process, the mattress is positioned and pressed in the mattress packing machine such that it remains between the packaging materials. The packaging extending outwards from the sides of the pressed mattress is sealed by heating in a packaging sealing machine. Said heating process is carried out between a resistance provided in the packaging sealing machine and a lower plate provided opposite thereof. The resistance is provided mutually with a channel provided on the lower plate and the excess of the packaging is cut with a cutter after the boiling process. However, the mattresses on which said process will be performed are not always the same size. In order to adapt to different mattress sizes, the lower table and resistance are displaced to the appropriate position. In order to enable the lower table to be slidable, a sheet metal provided on the lower table slides onto the processing surface of the packing machine. In this case, the overlapping of the sheet metal causes an imbalance on the surface. This can cause deformation both on the surfaces and on the mattress to be packed.
[0007] As a result, all the above-mentioned problems have made it imperative to make an innovation in the relevant technical field. SUMMARY OF INVENTION
[0008] The present invention relates to a packaging sealing unit for eliminating the above- mentioned disadvantages and bringing new advantages to the relevant technical field.
[0009] The object of the invention is to provide a packaging sealing unit which can be associated with the mattress packing machine to ensure that mattresses of different sizes are packed without deformation.
[0010] In order to achieve all the objects mentioned above and arising from the detailed explanation below, the present invention relates to a packaging sealing unit for mattress and foam packing machines, comprising a lower table provided on a body, and a resistance bearer provided in the upper adjacent of the lower table, configured to approach and move away from the lower table and housing at least one resistance thereon. Accordingly, it comprises at least one horizontal movement unit to ensure that the lower table is fixed on the body, that the lower table comprises at least two channels on the face thereof facing the resistance bearer, and that the resistance bearer can be displaced to align with said channels. Therefore, during the packing of mattresses of different sizes, since the resistance is brought to different positions while the lower table is in a fixed position and in the same plane with the processing surface of the packing machine, the packing can be carried out without deforming the packed mattress or the relevant surfaces of the packaging sealing machine.
[0011] In a possible embodiment of the invention, more than two of said channels are provided with predetermined distances therebetween.
[0012] In a possible embodiment of the invention, the channels extend at least partially along the lower table.
[0013] In a possible embodiment of the invention, it comprises at least one vertical movement unit to allow the resistance bearer to approach and move away from the lower table.
[0014] BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS Figure 1 shows a representative isometric view of the packaging sealing unit of the invention.
[0015] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0016] In this detailed description, the packaging sealing unit (10) of the invention is explained by way of example only for a better understanding of the subject, which shall not create any limiting effect.
[0017] The packaging sealing unit (10) of the invention essentially comprises a body (20), a lower table (80) provided on said body (20), and a resistance bearer (90) on which the resistance is positioned to ensure the sealing of the packaging material by heating.
[0018] In detail, the lower table (80) is fixed on the body (20). An upper surface (81) of the lower table (80) facing the resistance bearer (90) is provided in the same plane as the working surface of the mattress packaging machine. There are at least two channels (82) provided on the upper surface (81) of the lower table (80) facing the resistance bearer (90). In a possible embodiment of the invention said channels (82) are provided in a plurality, with predetermined distances therebetween. In a possible embodiment, the channels (82) extend at least partially along the lower table (80). The channels (82) are provided with the appropriate width to allow the sealing and cutting of the packaging.
[0019] A vertical bearer (30) is rigidly connected to the body (20). The vertical bearer (30) is essentially provided in the form of a frame extending in a perpendicular direction to the lower table (80). There is a mobile bearer (50) connected to the vertical bearer (80) in a way that allows linear displacement. There is a vertical movement unit (40) that allows the mobile bearer (50) to connect the vertical bearer (30). With said vertical bearer (30), it is possible to enable the mobile bearer (50) to approach and move away from the lower table (80). In a possible embodiment of the invention, the vertical movement unit (40) has a linear rail connected to the vertical bearer (30) and at least one linear carriage provided on the mobile bearer (50). Hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders can be used as a drive source for movement. There is at least one mobile body (70) provided on the mobile bearer (50). The resistance bearer (90) is located on said mobile body (70). A horizontal movement unit (60) which connects the mobile body (70) to the mobile bearer (50) ensures the movement of the resistance bearer (90) parallel to the lower table (80). Thus, it is ensured that the resistance bearer (90) can be aligned with the different channels (82) provided on the lower table (80). In a possible embodiment of the invention, the horizontal movement unit (60) consists of a pinion gear and a rack gear rotated by a drive from a motor. The resistance bearer (90), which is driven by a pinion-rack pair, is guided by a rail-carriage pair.
[0020] There is at least one resistance and at least one cutter provided on the resistance bearer (90).
[0021] The packaging sealing unit (10) of the invention is positioned in relation to the mattress packing machine during the covering of the mattress with the packaging. Meanwhile, the process area where the mattress is located and the face of the lower table (80) facing the resistance bearer (90) are provided in the same plane. During the packing of the mattress, the packaging material surrounding the mattress extends towards the lower table (80). According to the size of the mattress to be packed, the channel (82) in which the process will be performed is determined and the resistance bearer (90) is brought into alignment with said channel (82). After the mattress is pressed in the mattress packing machine, the resistance bearer (90) starts to approach the lower table (80). After the resistance heats and seals the packaging, the cutter cuts off the excess of the packaging material remaining on the edge.
[0022] When it is necessary to pack a mattress of different size, the appropriate channel (82) is selected and the resistance bearer (90) is aligned with the relevant channel (82). Thus, it is possible to pack mattresses of different sizes. Since the lower table (80) remains fixed without displacement and the upper surface (81) remains permanently in the same plane as the processing face of the packing machine, there is no form distortion of the mattress, the package and the relevant surfaces of the packaging sealing unit (10).
[0023] The scope of protection of the invention is specified in the appended claims and cannot be limited to what is described for illustrative purposes in this detailed description. Likewise, it is clear that a person skilled in the art can present similar embodiments in the light of the above, without departing from the main theme of the invention.
