Abstract
Description
[0001] DESCRIPTION
[0002] Folding cart
[0003] OBJECT OF THE INVENTION
[0004] The invention, as the title of this specification states, is a folding cart, which is an innovation that, within current techniques, provides advantages previously unknown.
[0005] The folding cart can be used for shopping or carrying various items. Its unique feature is that it fits comfortably in the trunk, without the person having to bear the weight of the cart.
[0006] TECHNICAL SECTOR
[0007] Therefore, this invention is limited to the sector of manufacturing carts and trolleys for transporting items.
[0008] STATE OF THE ART
[0009] When we go shopping, we often bring a shopping cart to comfortably transport our entire collection of items. Traditionally, these carts have a frame with wheels on the bottom and handles on the top, as well as a bag for storing items.
[0010] These carts allow you to transport the entire set of items without having to bear the weight. However, when we want to fit them into the trunk of a vehicle, we have to remove the items one by one to put them in the trunk, which is inconvenient and wastes time. Another option is to pick up the full cart in the air, lay it down, and put it in the trunk. This isn't easy to do, as it requires a lot of strength to pick up the entire set, as well as a certain agility to be able to lay it down and put it in the trunk.
[0011] Which is not an adequate solution.
[0012] In order to solve the detailed problems, the current invention is presented.
[0013] The existence of any product with the same technical characteristics as the invention presented here is unknown.
[0014] DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[0015] The object of the present invention is the creation of a folding cart that provides a notable innovation within its field of application in the current state of the art, the characterizing details that make it possible being conveniently included in the final claims that accompany this description.
[0016] The folding cart allows you to comfortably transport a set of items that have been placed inside, and also allows the cart to be easily placed inside a trunk.
[0017] To achieve this, the folding cart includes a folding frame consisting of four legs with wheels at the bottom ends. These wheels allow us to move the cart comfortably on the ground, without having to pick up the weight of the items inside.
[0018] In addition, the chassis comprises a base on which the container body is arranged, configured to introduce objects or articles.
[0019] The legs are attached to the base via a hinged joint such that when the legs hit the outside of the trunk, they fold under the base, allowing the trolley to be inserted into the trunk without having to be lifted into the air at any time.
[0020] EXPLANATION OF THE FIGURES
[0021] To complete the description being made and in order to help better understand the characteristics of the invention, this descriptive report is attached, as an integral part thereof, with a figure in which, for illustrative and non-limiting purposes, the following has been represented.
[0022] Figure 1 corresponds to a perspective view of the accessory.
[0023] PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION
[0024] The folding cart comprises a folding chassis consisting of four legs (2) with wheels (3) at their lower ends, and a base on which the container body (4) is arranged, configured to introduce objects or articles.
[0025] The legs (2) are joined to the base by a hinged joint such that when the legs (2) hit the outside of the trunk, they fold under the base. When the user wants to remove the trolley, they simply have to slide it outwards and unfold the legs by pulling them.
[0026] Generally, the wheels (3) will have a brake, so that once the cart is placed in the trunk we can block its movement.
[0027] The brake will also be useful when we want to stop the cart on the ground and it has a certain inclination.
[0028] In a preferred embodiment, the folding chassis has a means for securing it to the interior of the trunk. The securing means may be a string with a hook at its end.
[0029] This hook may be attached to the interior surface of the trunk to help secure the trolley therein. In a preferred embodiment, the articulated joint is an articulated shaft arranged at the upper end of the legs (2).
[0030] In a preferred embodiment, the articulated joint has a locking element formed by a pin that is inserted into the articulated shaft, and a push button such that when the push button is pressed the pin comes out of the articulated shaft so that the legs can be folded.
[0031] This allows only the legs to be folded when we want to put the stroller in the trunk.
[0032] In one embodiment, the container body (4) has a seat for an infant. The seat will generally be formed by two openings made in one of the sides of the container body (4) configured for the infant to pass his legs through, and a transverse structure configured to support the weight of the infant.
[0033] The trolley has a handle (6), and fixed to the handle (6) there is a compartment, which can be used to store personal items such as keys, mobile phone,...
[0034] The container body (4) can have a lid configured to cover it from above. So if we want to protect the purchase from the rain or cover it, we use the lid.
[0035] In one embodiment, the container body (4) is formed by a parallelepiped structure with telescopic beams. This allows us to make it larger or smaller depending on the quantity of items we wish to purchase.
[0036] On at least two of the legs (2), at their upper end there are two upper wheels (5). These upper wheels (5) facilitate the introduction of the trolley into the trunk. Having sufficiently described the nature of the present invention, as well as the manner of putting it into practice, it is not considered necessary to explain it further so that any expert in the field understands its scope and the advantages derived from it, stating that, within its essence, it may be put into practice in other embodiments that differ in detail from that indicated by way of example, and to which it will also achieve the protection that is sought as long as its fundamental principle is not altered, changed or modified.
