Description

Paper pallet

[0001] The present invention relates to a paper pallet used for transporting or storing goods.

[0002] Traditionally, wooden or plastic pallets have been used to load cargo, etc., but it has been found that these pallets are difficult to recycle and disposal is not easy. Therefore, when cargo, etc. loaded on pallets is transported, it is costly to dispose of the unnecessary pallets at the destination, so the pallets are often returned to the source of transport, as shown in Figure 1.

[0003] Therefore, paper pallets have been developed, which are much easier to dispose of or recycle than wood or plastic, and are inexpensive.Paper pallets can be disposed of more easily than wood or plastic through recycling or incineration, and as shown in Figure 2, there is no need for the delivery destination to return the pallet to the source, which reduces transportation costs. In addition, paper pallets can be manufactured inexpensively by using recycled paper.

[0004] For example, Patent Document 1 discloses a cardboard pallet that includes a top plate and a bottom plate that are arranged opposite each other with a gap between them in the vertical direction, and a plurality of supports that connect the opposing surfaces of the top plate and the bottom plate, wherein the top plate and the bottom plate are each a laminate formed by stacking a plurality of cardboard sheets so that the ridges of the cores intersect, and the supports are a rolled body formed by rolling up strip-shaped cardboard sheets into a cylindrical shape so that the ridges of the cores extend in the vertical direction.

[0005] The technology disclosed in the above-mentioned Patent Document 1 not only solves problems of waste disposal and manufacturing costs, but also minimizes the risk of the top and bottom plates bending downward when a load is applied from above, as is the case with ordinary paper pallets.

[0006] Furthermore, for example, Patent Document 2 discloses a paper pallet that increases the strength of the pallet's components and, by combining these components, improves the strength of the pallet as a whole, while also solving problems such as disposal.

[0007] Utility Model Registration No. 3234104 Utility Model Registration No. 3243394

[0008] However, it has been pointed out by workers in the field that the technology disclosed in Patent Document 1 is weak in terms of strength when the weight of the cargo to be loaded is heavy, and the technology disclosed in Patent Document 2 is excellent in terms of strength, but is weak against humidity and has a somewhat large volume, so improvements are needed in terms of transportation efficiency.

[0009] The present invention is intended to solve the above-mentioned problems, and aims to provide a paper pallet that increases the strength of the components of the pallet, and by combining these components, improves the strength of the pallet as a whole, minimizes volume, is resistant to humidity, and solves problems such as disposal.

[0010] In order to address the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides the following technical solution: That is, the invention described in claim 1 is a paper pallet comprising a rectangular top plate on which cargo is placed, a plurality of elongated base plates arranged opposite to the top plate at intervals in the vertical direction, and a cylindrical paper tube connected to the top plate and between the opposing surfaces of the base plate to support the top plate in the axial direction from below, the plurality of elongated base plates being arranged in parallel at predetermined intervals with their longitudinal directions oriented in the same direction as the direction of a predetermined side of the top plate, and the top plate and the base plates being made of a paper interleaf material.

[0011] The invention described in claim 2 is a paper pallet described in claim 1, characterized in that the multiple elongated base plates are arranged such that a first base plate is located near a specified side of the top plate and a second base plate is located near the other side opposite the specified side, and a third base plate is located at an intermediate position between the first base plate and the second base plate.

[0012] Furthermore, the invention described in claim 3 is a paper pallet described in claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the cylindrical paper tube is connected between the opposing surfaces to the top plate near one end of the elongated base plate in the longitudinal direction, near the other end of the elongated base plate in the longitudinal direction, and near the center of the elongated base plate in the longitudinal direction.

[0013] According to the present invention, the top and bottom plates are made of laminated paper, which allows for thinner, lighter weight, and increased strength. It also makes it possible to provide a paper pallet that is resistant to humidity. Furthermore, the overall volume of the paper pallet can be reduced, improving transportation efficiency. Furthermore, disposal becomes easier, which allows for direct transportation of pallets, reducing costs for warehousing, storage, transshipment, center fees, pallet management, and so on.

[0014] Furthermore, according to the present invention, it is possible to reduce product inventory and waste, and since the workload for transportation and other tasks is reduced, it is possible to reduce the frequency of deliveries (which is in line with the logistics standardization led by the Japanese government). Furthermore, according to the present invention, since the pallets are made of paper (interleaf material), they can be recycled as resource waste, and this also addresses the issue of environmental consideration (SDGs).

[0015] Furthermore, according to the present invention, even if the pallet is made of paper (laminated paper material), the strength of the components of the pallet is high, and the combination of each component also gives the pallet high strength as a whole, so it can adequately handle even heavy cargo, etc.

[0016]

[0023] Figure 1 is a schematic diagram showing a conventional logistics flow. Figure 2 is a schematic diagram showing a conventional logistics flow using a paper pallet. Figures showing an embodiment of a paper pallet according to the present invention, where (a) is a diagram showing a top plate, and (b) is a diagram showing a base plate and a cylindrical paper tube. Figures showing an embodiment of a paper pallet according to the present invention, where (a) is a perspective view from a predetermined edge of the top plate, (b) is a perspective view facing the predetermined edge of the top plate, (c) is a bottom side perspective view 1, and (d) is a bottom side perspective view 2.

[0017] An embodiment of a paper pallet according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. Fig. 3 shows an embodiment of a paper pallet according to the present invention, where (a) is a diagram showing a top plate, and (b) is a diagram showing a base plate and a cylindrical cardboard tube. Fig. 4 shows an embodiment of a paper pallet according to the present invention, where (a) is a perspective view from a predetermined edge of the top plate, (b) is a perspective view facing the predetermined edge of the top plate, (c) is a bottom side perspective view 1, and (d) is a bottom side perspective view 2. Note that reference numerals 10 represent the paper pallet, 12 is the top plate, 14 is the first base plate, 16 is the second base plate, 18 is the third base plate, 20 is the cylindrical cardboard tube (near one end), 22 is the cylindrical cardboard tube (near the other end), and 24 is the cylindrical cardboard tube (near the center).

[0018] First, as shown in Figures 3 and 4, the paper pallet 10 in this embodiment has a rectangular top plate 12 on which cargo is loaded, a plurality of elongated base plates (14, 16, 18) arranged opposite the top plate 12 at intervals in the vertical direction, and cylindrical paper tubes (20, 22, 24) connected between the opposing surfaces of the top plate 12 and the base plates (14, 16, 18) and supporting the top plate 12 in the axial direction from below, and the plurality of elongated base plates (14, 16, 18) are arranged in parallel at predetermined intervals with their longitudinal directions facing the same direction as a predetermined side of the top plate 12, and the top plate 12 and base plates (14, 16, 18) are made of paper interleaf material.

[0019] In this way, because the top plate 12 and the bottom plate (14, 16, 18) are made of interleaving paper, the strength of the paper pallet is high and it can be used even when the weight of the cargo to be loaded is heavy. Furthermore, because the top plate 12 and the bottom plate (14, 16, 18) themselves can be made thin, the weight of the paper pallet can be reduced. Furthermore, it is possible to provide a paper pallet that is resistant to humidity. Furthermore, because the overall volume of the paper pallet can be reduced, transportation efficiency can be improved.

[0020] Next, in this embodiment, the plurality of elongated base plates (14, 16, 18) are arranged such that a first base plate 14 is disposed near one predetermined side of the top plate 12, and a second base plate 16 is disposed near the other side opposite the predetermined side, and a third base plate 18 is disposed midway between the first base plate 14 and the second base plate 16. This allows the overall volume of the paper pallet to be reduced, thereby enabling further improvement in transportation efficiency.

[0021] Furthermore, because it is a paper pallet, there is no need for fumigation (heat treatment) when exporting overseas, which allows for significant reductions in transportation costs. Note that the cylindrical cardboard tubes (20, 22, 24) of the paper pallet 10 in this embodiment are connected between the surfaces facing the top plate near one end (cylindrical cardboard tube 20) of the elongated base plates (14, 16, 18) in the longitudinal direction, near the other end (cylindrical cardboard tube 22) of the elongated base plates (14, 16, 18) in the longitudinal direction, and near the center (cylindrical cardboard tube 24) of the elongated base plates (14, 16, 18) in the longitudinal direction, respectively, making it possible to reduce the volume while improving the strength.

[0022] Because the paper pallet of the present invention is made from interleaf material, disposal is easy, and as a result, direct transportation of pallets can be achieved, reducing costs for warehousing, storage, transshipment, center fees, pallet management, etc. It also reduces product inventory and waste loss, and reduces the workload for transportation, etc., making it possible to reduce delivery frequency (consistent with logistics standardization led by the Japanese government).

[0023] Furthermore, according to the present invention, the pallet is made of interleaving paper, which makes it recyclable as resource waste, thereby addressing environmental concerns (SDGs). Furthermore, even though the pallet is made of interleaving paper, the strength of the pallet's components is high, and the combination of these components gives the pallet high overall strength, making it suitable for carrying heavy cargo. Furthermore, according to the present invention, the pallet is resistant to humidity and the overall volume of the paper pallet can be reduced, thereby improving transportation efficiency.
