Abstract
Description
Cosmetics
[0001] The present invention relates to a cosmetic preparation. Specifically, the present invention relates to a cosmetic preparation comprising a combination of a glycine derivative and a specific surfactant.
[0002] Cosmetics come in a variety of formulations, including lotions, emulsions, and creams, with lotions being an essential item for basic skincare. Lotions contain a variety of ingredients, including water-soluble substances such as water and moisturizing ingredients, as well as water-insoluble substances such as fragrances, oils, and oil-soluble drugs. Various surfactants are used to stably blend these ingredients. By using specific surfactants in lotions and other products, excellent lotions have been developed that are stable even under harsh conditions such as freezing and high-temperature storage, and that are less sticky (Patent Document 1).
[0003] However, a wide variety of properties are required for lotions, and various ingredients are blended accordingly. In this case, improving a specific property may result in the loss of other properties. For example, even if the surfactant blend can be adjusted to impart a moist feeling to the skin upon application of the cosmetic, a trade-off may occur, such as stickiness after application. Furthermore, moisturizing properties are often required for cosmetics, and such trade-offs may become even more pronounced when polyhydric alcohols or the like are used as moisturizing agents.
[0004] JP 2013-060398 A JP 2005-179342 A
[0005] The present inventors have conducted research in light of the above-mentioned problems and have discovered that by combining a glycine derivative with a specific combination of surfactants, a cosmetic can be provided that provides a moist feeling immediately after application and further suppresses stickiness after application. The present invention is based on these findings.

[0026] Of these, it is preferable that the cosmetic according to the present invention contains a moisturizing agent, particularly a polyhydric alcohol. Moisturizing performance is often desired in applications such as lotions, but moisturizing agents can cause stickiness when the cosmetic is applied to the skin. However, by combining components (A) to (E) in the cosmetic according to the present invention, stickiness can be suppressed, and therefore the effects of the present invention can be more favorably achieved when a moisturizing agent such as a polyhydric alcohol is contained.
[0027] The cosmetic composition according to the present invention is preferably an oil-in-water cosmetic composition. The effects of the present invention are particularly favorable when the cosmetic composition is made into a transparent or translucent aqueous cosmetic composition such as a lotion. [0028] In the present invention, "transparent or translucent" means that the cosmetic has an L value of 50 or more in the Lab color system (Hunter Lab system). The L value is a value that represents transparency when the transparency of purified water is set to 100 and no light transmission at all is set to 0. In other words, the closer the L value is to 100, the higher the transparency. The L value can be measured using, for example, a color difference meter (Spectro color meter SE2000 (manufactured by Nippon Denshoku Co., Ltd.) or COLOR-EYE 7000A (manufactured by Gretag Macbeth)).
[0029] Examples of the cosmetic according to the present invention include skin care cosmetics (e.g., lotions, serums, packs, etc.), skin cleansers (e.g., facial cleansers, makeup removers, etc.), etc. Note that these forms are merely examples, and the cosmetic according to the present invention is not limited to these forms.

[0032] [Examples 1 to 4 and Comparative Examples 1 to 3] Oil-in-water cosmetic compositions of Examples 1 to 4 and Comparative Examples 1 to 3 were prepared according to the formulations shown in Table 1.
[0033] Each cosmetic example was evaluated for moisturizing immediately after application. Ten panelists applied the cosmetic to their skin, and the number of people who rated it as effective compared to the control (Comparative Example 1) was used as the evaluation result. The appearance was also observed, and the transparency of the cosmetic was visually evaluated. The results obtained are shown in Table 1.
