Description

Method for cutting elements protruding from the surface of a long object and device for its implementation

[0001] The invention relates to the field of electric power engineering and mechanical engineering and is intended for removing damaged ends of wires, cables and ropes in places where it is necessary to maintain the integrity of the sheath, for example, power transmission lines.

[0002] Known are hand shears for cutting metal rods and wire, used in metal pressure processing. The shears contain rotary knife levers and handles fixed in the housing, pivotally connected to each other by connecting rods with fingers. A floating cylindrical pin is located in a groove made in the housing and pivotally connected to the handles by means of rods. The rod to be cut is placed between the spread knife levers. The handles are moved in opposite directions. In this case, the pin moves in the housing groove (patent SU 1326397, published on 30.07.1987). This technical solution was chosen as a prototype.

[0003] The disadvantages of the prototype include the lack of the ability to use the device remotely and attach it to a UAV for remote work to remove damaged wires, cables and ropes. Technical task

[0004] The technical result, which the claimed invention is aimed at achieving, is to ensure the possibility of performing work on removing damaged wires on wires, cables and ropes remotely, improving the quality of work, reducing labor costs for repairing wires and cables, and increasing the safety of performing work.

[0005] According to the proposed invention, the cutting of damaged wires on wires, lightning protection cables and ropes during repair work is carried out using a UAV. When cutting wires of wires, lightning protection cables of a power transmission line using the proposed invention, there is no need to disconnect the high-voltage power transmission line, as well as the participation of a tower truck and manual cutting of the wires by an electrician. The possibility of using the proposed device on a phase wire of a switched on 110 kV overhead power line was experimentally proven in laboratory tests, as well as in independent field tests of UAV electromagnetic compatibility.

[0006] A device for cutting damaged wire cores, lightning protection cables and ropes is proposed, containing a design of cylindrical metal shears installed on a UAV. The claimed device for cutting damaged (untwisted, protruding) cores allows cutting by moving the tool in a circle around the wire, rope or lightning protection cable.

[0007] In terms of the method, the claimed technical result is achieved in that the method for cutting off elements protruding from the surface of a long object consists in the fact that a UAV equipped with a means for moving along a wire is installed on the long object, on the front part of the body of which a support is installed, on which an inner and outer cylinder coaxial with each other are fixed using longitudinal slots with cutting edges made in them, the cylinders are equipped with cutting teeth, one of the cylinders is made with the possibility of rotation, after installing the cylinders on the object, one of the cylinders is rotated, which leads to a displacement of the cutting teeth and slots with cutting edges relative to each other, as a result of which the protruding element is cut off.

[0008] In terms of the device, the claimed technical result is achieved in that the device for cutting elements protruding from the surface of a long object contains a UAV equipped with a means for moving along a wire, on the front part of the body of which a support is installed, on which external and internal cylinders with cutting teeth and longitudinal slots with cutting edges for installation on a wire are fixed, wherein one of the cylinders is designed with the possibility of rotation.

[0009] The support is designed with the possibility of longitudinal movement along the wire.

[0010] Rotational motion is transmitted to one of the cylinders by means of a drive gear and a toothed wheel, which are mounted on the engine support and are engaged and are provided with a slot for mounting on a wire and attached to one of the cylinders.

[0011] The UAV body has a video camera aimed at the cylinders.

[0018] - the relative position of the teeth of a cutting tool with sharpening of the teeth on both sides. Description of the invention

[0019] A device for cutting elements protruding from the surface of a long object, such as wire cores, lightning protection cables and ropes, comprises a UAV 1 equipped with a means 2 for moving along a wire, lightning protection cable or rope 3, made, for example, in the form of wheels. A support 5, made, for example, in the form of a plate, is installed on the front part of the UAV 1 body using guides 4. The support 5 is designed with the possibility of longitudinal movement along the wire, lightning protection cable or rope 3. The support 5 is connected to the frame of the UAV 1 by a lead screw 6 passing through a nut 7 connected to a longitudinal movement motor 8 located on the UAV 1. Support rollers 9, an internal cylinder 10 of a cutting tool 11 with a slot 12 and a rotary motion motor 13 are fixed on the support 5, transmitting movement through a drive gear 14 to a toothed wheel 15 installed in engagement with the drive gear. The toothed wheel 15 is provided with a slot 16 for installation on a wire, lightning protection cable or rope 3 and is attached to the outer cylinder 17 of the cutting tool 11, which encircles the inner cylinder 10 of the cutting tool 11 and is designed with the possibility of rotation around the inner cylinder using the motor 13. The outer cylinder 17 of the cutting tool 11 is also designed with a slot 18 for installation on a wire, lightning protection cable or rope 3.

[0020] The slots 12, 18 have sharpened edges so that in addition to the function of installation on the wire, they perform the role of a cutting element for damaged cores. On the cylinders 10, 17, cutting teeth 19 are made, located on the end side. Sharpening of cutting teeth 19 can be performed on both sides to enable cutting of cores when rotating the cylinder in any direction.

[0021] The toothed wheel 15 is attached to the outer cylinder 17. The toothed wheel 15, receiving movement from the driving gear 14, is intended for adjusting the rotational movement of the outer cylinder 17 around the inner cylinder 12. The driving gear 14 is provided with a disk 20 with slots. A photocell sensor 21 is fixed on the support 5, which, orienting itself by the slots in the disk 20, allows reading the position of the driving gear 14 and the outer cylinder 17.

[0022] On the body of the UAV 1, a clamp 22 is installed on a servo drive, designed to fix the device on a wire, lightning protection cable and rope and to prevent the device from slipping along the wire during movement along the wire, lightning protection cable or rope. Clamp 22 can be made, for example, in the form of a robotic arm.

[0023] The toothed wheel is provided with locking projections 23 to prevent disengagement from the drive gear.

[0024] On the UAV body there is a video camera 24, directed at the cylinders.

[0025] The method and device for cutting off elements protruding from the surface of a long object operates as follows.

[0026] The device is controlled remotely, using a remote control. The operator checks the serviceability of the device, after which he turns on the engines of the UAV 1. In the initial position, the outer 17 and inner 10 cylinders of the cutting tool 11 are positioned in such a way that their slots 18 and 12 coincide with each other, as well as with the slot 16 of the gear wheel 15. In addition, before starting work, the lead screw 6 and the support 5 fixed to it are in the initial extreme rear position, and the clamp 22 is in the open state. The device takes off, flies up to the wire, lightning protection cable or rope 3, on which it is necessary to cut the damaged core / cores, and lands on the wire, lightning protection cable or rope 3 at or near the place of the defect (unbraiding) using the means 2 for moving along the wire.

[0027] Using means 2, the device, moving along the wire, lightning protection cable or rope 3, approaches the place of damage to the wires. The device is secured on the wire using clamp 22. After this, longitudinal movement motor 8 is switched on, which, by rotating nut 7, moves lead screw 6, connected to support 5, forward, so that the protruding core / cores fall between the teeth of the outer 17 and the teeth of the inner 10 cylinders of the cutting tool 11 and / or into sharpened slots 12, 18, secured on support 5, resting on support rollers 6. After this, rotary movement motor 13 is switched on, which turns drive gear 14, which in turn transmits rotational moment to gear wheel 15 with outer cylinder 17 rigidly secured to it. In this case, the rotation speed of motor 13 is synchronized with the speed of longitudinal movement of the lead screw to ensure continuity of the cutting process.

[0028] The outer cylinder 17, rotating around the inner cylinder 10, cuts off (cuts) the unbraided core with sharpened teeth 19 or the cutting edge of the slots of the inner 10 and outer 17 cylinders 11. When cutting, the position of the outer cylinder 17 of the cutting tool 11 is controlled through the position of the toothed wheel 15 and the drive gear 14 using a disk with slots 20 and a photocell sensor 21. This allows the operator to control the angle of rotation of the outer cylinder 17 of the cutting tool 11 in manual or automatic mode. After cutting the damaged core / cores, the motor 13, rotating the drive gear 14, returns the toothed wheel 15 with the outer cylinder 17 fixed to it to the initial position. Then the longitudinal movement motor 8 is switched on, which, rotating the nut 7, moves the lead screw 6, connected to the support 5, back to the initial position. Clamp 22 is released using a servo drive. After this, the device, using the UAV 1, moves along the wire, lightning protection cable or rope 3 by means of the means for movement 2, moves away from the place where the wire is cut, after which it takes off from the wire and descends to the ground.
