Abstract
Description
[0001] CERAMIC SANITARY WARE MOUNTING SYSTEM
[0002] Subject of the Invention
[0003] The invention relates to a mounting system, which enables the mounting of a ceramic sanitary ware on a mounting surface to be realized in such a way that no mounting member will be visible on the product surface.
[0004] State of the Art
[0005] The ceramic sanitary ware are frequently used in the toilet rooms, bathrooms, and kitchens. Some ceramic sanitary ware are fixed directly on the floor or the force imparted by the ceramic sanitary ware due to its weight and the force imparted during the use are enabled to be transferred directly to the floor with the help of a base fitted to the ceramic sanitary ware. Due to having a more aesthetic appearance and providing some advantages during the use, it is often preferred today to fix the ceramic sanitary ware to a surface perpendicular to the floor. In the applications where the ceramic sanitary ware is fixed to a surface perpendicular to the floor, it is necessary to fix the ceramic sanitary ware on the mounting surface in such a way that it can bear both its own weight and the forces imparted during the use. For this purpose, the mounting procedure is carried out using various connection members and various mounting methods.
[0006] In the applications where the mounting of the ceramic sanitary ware is performed on a mounting surface perpendicular to the floor for aesthetic reasons, it is undesirable that the connection members used for the mounting are visible on the surface of the ceramic sanitary ware after the mounting. For this purpose, the concealed mounting apparatus, which will not be visible after the mounting, are used for the mounting of the ceramic sanitary ware.
[0007] In an exemplary application of the state of the art employed for fixing a ceramic sanitary ware to a wall, a stud fixed to the wall penetrates the mounting apparatus and a setscrew, as a result of being rotated, advances on the body of the mounting apparatus fixed on the ceramic sanitary ware and penetrates a cavity present on the stud and in this way, enables the ceramic sanitary ware to be fixed to the wall. In this application, the fixing of the ceramic sanitary ware is achieved owing to the cavity inside the stud and the setscrew. The fact that the contact surface of the setscrew with the stud is small and said contact is a point contact, i.e., a surface contact is not present between the setscrew and the stud, leads to an unbalanced load distribution. This may cause the emergence of certain limits in terms of the choice of the material, the complication of the mounting procedure and / or some safety problems during the use.
[0008] Object of the Invention
[0009] An object of the invention is to develop a mounting system, wherein a ceramic sanitary ware is enabled to be fixed on a mounting surface perpendicular to the floor in such a way that no connection member will be visible through the ceramic sanitary ware after the mounting.
[0010] Another object of the invention is to develop a mounting system, wherein a ceramic sanitary ware is enabled to be fixed on a mounting surface via the pull force, which a wedge, performing the rotational movement as a result of the imparted force, is to apply on a structure with at least one cavity fixed on a pin positioned on the mounting surface.

[0033] Detailed Description of the Invention
[0034] The invention relates to a mounting system, which enables the mounting of a ceramic sanitary ware on a mounting surface to be realized in such a way that no mounting member will be visible on the product surface. More particularly, the invention relates to a mounting system, wherein the fixing of a ceramic sanitary ware on a mounting surface is realized via the pull force applied by a fork wedge (2) on a fork wedge cavity (51) on a stud (5), as a result of the force applied by at least one connection member (3) on said fork wedge (2).
[0035] The mounting system according to the invention comprises in its most basic form at least one stud (5) having at least one cavity (51), • at least one fork wedge (2), which, as a result of its movement, applies a pull force on the stud (5) via the cavity (51),
[0036] • at least one body (1), which is fixed on the ceramic sanitary ware and to which the fork wedge (2) is fixed in a way to perform rotational movement, and
[0037] • at least one connection member (3), which, as a result of being rotated, advances on the body (1) and applies a force on the fork wedge (2) to enable said fork wedge (2) to rotate.
[0038] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the fork wedge (2) comprises at least one stud housing (21) where the cavity (51) of the stud (5) may enter. Said stud housing (21) is a stud housing (21) where the cavity (51) of the stud (5) enters as a result of the rotation of the fork wedge (2) and where the fork wedge (2) holds onto the stud. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the stud housing (21) is a stud housing (21) where a pull force is enabled to be applied on the stud (5) via the cavity (51) as a result of the rotation of the fork wedge (2) and where the ceramic sanitary ware is thus enabled to be fixed on the mounting surface.
[0039] A preferred embodiment of the invention comprises at least one fork wedge connection pin (23), which enables the fork wedge (2) to be fixed on the body (1) in a way that said fork wedge (2) may perform the rotational movement. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the body (1) comprises at least one fork wedge connection pin housing (14) through which the fork wedge connection pin (23) is to pass. After the fork wedge (2) is positioned into the body (1), said fork wedge (2) is fixed to the body (1) by means of the fork wedge connection pin (23). In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the body (1) comprises at least one fork wedge housing (12), inside which the fork wedge (2) is able to freely perform the rotational movement.
[0040] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the fork wedge (2) is a fork wedge (2), which performs rotational movement around the fork wedge connection pin (23).
[0041] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the fork wedge (2) comprises at least one fork wedge inclined surface (22), which the connection member (3), advancing on the body (1) as a result of being rotated, contacts to thereby enable the fork wedge (2) to rotate around the fork wedge connection pin (23). In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the fork wedge (2) is a fork wedge (2) with a volute structure having at least one fork wedge inclined surface (22).
[0042] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the body (1) comprises at least one connection member bearing (11), on which the connection member (3) moves as a result of its rotation. Said connection member bearing (11) is a connection member bearing (11), inside which the connection member (3) advances to apply on the fork wedge (2) a force that will enable said fork wedge (2) to rotate.
[0043] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the body (1) comprises at least one stud opening (13), which enables the stud (5) to penetrate the body (1) and access the fork wedge (2).
[0044] A preferred embodiment of the invention comprises at least one fixing member (4), which enables the body (1) to be fixed on the ceramic sanitary ware. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the fixing member (4) is a fixing member (4), which, after the body (1) is placed in its position on the ceramic sanitary ware, passes through the stud opening (13) and the ceramic sanitary ware fixing member housing (6) to enable the body (1) to be fixed on the ceramic sanitary ware. A preferred embodiment of the invention comprises at least one fixing member counterpart (42), which enables the fixing member (4) passing through the stud opening (13) and the ceramic sanitary ware fixing member housing (6) to be fixed on the ceramic sanitary ware. The fixing member counterpart (42) is a nut fitted in the threaded portion present in the fixing member (4). A preferred embodiment of the invention comprises at least one fixing member abutment surface (41), which, as a result of the fixing member counterpart (42) being rotated and pulling the fixing member (4), enables said fixing member (4) to abut the body (1) and thus enables said body (1) to be fixed on the ceramic sanitary ware.
