The application discloses an
odor control system and method for a
toilet, belonging to the technical field of sanitary wares. The
system comprises three core modules: a negative pressure capture unit, a
gas transmission path, and a negative pressure generating device. The
gas transmission path adopts a dual-path compatible architecture: one is an isolation section bypassing the water seal (integrated in the double-channel
flange plate), and the other is a hydrophobic capillary tube (inner
diameter 0.5-2.0 mm, preferably 0.8-1.5 mm,
contact angle ≥110°) passing through the water seal. The negative pressure generating device supports three types of brushless DC centrifugal fans, piezoelectric micropumps, or Venturi ejectors, with the maximum working negative pressure strictly limited to ≤50 Pa, which is much lower than the
national standard water seal static breaking threshold of 490 Pa, forming a safety redundancy coefficient of ≥9.8 times. The method includes source negative pressure capture, dual-path safe
discharge, quantitative negative pressure driving, and
intelligent control (pre-pumping for sitting, delayed shutdown, VOC speed regulation, water seal self-checking, and capillary tube backflush self-cleaning). The application realizes zero leakage of
odor sources, zero disturbance of water seals,
low noise, low cost, and full-scene compatibility, with an incremental cost of a new
toilet of ≤40 yuan and a cost of a stock retrofit kit of ≤65 yuan, which has great industrialization promotion value.
