An article transport cart which is specially designed for lifting and transporting both toilets and urinals. The transport cart includes strategically located, adjustable lifting arms which can be used to engage and conveniently lift either a toilet or a urinal with a minimum of effort and without damaging the somewhat fragile fixture. Both the lifting arms and the tow plate of the cart can be adjusted relative to the cart frame so that they can be conveniently moved from an outwardly extending, operating configuration into a stowed position to enable the cart to be conveniently stored and transported. Systems and methods for a lavatory system are described that include a bidirectional hand dryer having a top, bottom, back, and right side and multiple sensors and LEDs. Upper and lower nozzles are also provided and respectively connected to upper and lower plenums. At least two flexible air delivery hoses are connected to the plenums. A motor housing is provided and includes a motor, ports connected to the hoses, noise abatement features, and a motor microcontroller. A hand-receiving cavity exists between the top, back, right, and bottom side for receiving at least one hand of a user. Tips are connected to the nozzles and emit high speed colliding columns of air to shear water off of the user's hand. The columns of air are spaced and calibrated in such a way as to reduce forces on the user's hand which would otherwise move the hand toward the side surfaces.

A water leak detection and prevention system uses sensors, wires, and wireless transmitters, to monitor all plumbing fixtures (faucets, toilets, hose bibs, etc.) and water-using appliances (dishwashers, washing machines, icemakers, etc.). When water is being used at a plumbing fixture or a water-using appliance, the sensor shows water that is expected to be used at that location and communicates the usage and the amount of flow for that location. Temperature sensors placed on piping at strategic locations will protect plumbing from freezing. Should temperatures near the freezing point, the system will purge water from the pipes. Water conservation system: should a toilet flapper become stuck open or partially open, or a faucet left dripping or running, the system main valve will close and water will be conserved.

One or more sensors are used by a toilet user while the toilet user is using the toilet to take health measurement readings of the user. Dynamic heart stress readings may be obtained and monitored over weeks, months and years. Rolling averages of heart function and heart health may be determined and deviations from the rolling averages may trigger notifications. Other health related measurements and functions such as temperature, respirations, heart rate, electrocardiogram, echocardiogram, and stethoscope sounds are also recorded and stored for trending and data analysis.
