Abstract

The present invention generally pertains to the technological field of suitcases and relates more specifically to a suitcase (1.1) provided with a built-in side table (1.3). The suitcase (1) disclosed herein comprises a suitcase (1.1) per se provided with at least one compartment (1.2), into which at least one tilting table (1.3) is inserted, said table being provided with one or more retractable legs (1.4). The tilting table (1.3) is fastened vertically or horizontally to the upper portion of the compartment (1.2) of the suitcase (1.1) per se, depending on the preferred orientation of the suitcase (1.1), whether its width is greater than its height, its height greater than its width, whether it is square, or of other shapes, by means of any fastening elements that allow the rotation of the lid (1.3) around the axis, as shown in Figure 1.

[0001] In general, the present invention belongs to the technological sector of travel bags and refers, more specifically, to a suitcase equipped with a built-in support table.

[0002] Suitcases are widely known in the state of the art. Even suitcases with retractable, removable, adjustable handles, among other improvements, are found and provided in the current state of the art.

[0003] However, there is no known suitcase equipped with a built-in side table, which can be used to support notebooks and / or laptops in places without structure, and can also be used in airports or other places for snacking, minimizing discomfort to the back and arms.

[0004] That said, it is possible to cite some patent examples of suitcases currently known in the state of the art. This is the case of document no. ePI0617051 “IMPROVED LUGGAGE SUITCASE” which discloses a wheeled luggage case having wheels having a luggage receptacle, wherein the receptacle has two opposing main walls and has end walls that form a luggage compartment, wherein a main wall of the receptacle is adapted to serve as a bottom wall that faces the ground during a wheeled luggage case transport mode, wherein said luggage case further comprises:- (i) a plurality of lower; (iv) a retractable wheel assembly positioned on the bottom wall spaced, in use, from the support wheels, wherein said wheel assembly has a position in which the wheel assembly extends below the bottom wall of the luggage receptacle or an inactive position in which the wheel assembly is retracted;and (v) a handle positioned at one end of the baggage receptacle for maneuvering, pushing, and / or pulling purposes; wherein the baggage is configured to be selectively placed in a first retractable maneuvering mode with the support wheels in engagement facing the floor, or in a second wheeled transport mode with an alternative floor-engaging wheel arrangement whereby an end wall faces the floor.;

[0005] However, it should be noted that at any time the aforementioned prior art mentions a built-in side table, or any equivalent means for this purpose.

[0006] Similarly, document US5630521 "ERGONOMIC UPRIGHT WHEELED LUGGAGE" discloses a stand-up luggage case that has wheels to allow the case to stand in a stable, balanced position without the user present. The case has a wheel handle to allow the user to push or pull the case across a support surface. The case can be pushed or pulled on four or two wheels. When four wheels are used, the entire weight of the case and its contents are supported by the wheels, eliminating the need for the user to support any of the luggage's weight with their arm. The case body is designed to have a specific range of tilt angles relative to the vertical; by tilting the case body toward the user, the case design improves the case's stability while being pushed across a support surface on four wheels. Various case body configurations and push handle arrangements are disclosed.

[0008] Therefore, based on all the drawbacks existing in the systems and equipment currently used, described above in the state of the art, it is clear that there is a gap in the creation of a suitcase equipped with a built-in support table.

[0010] SUMMARY AND OBJECTIVES OF THE INVENTION

[0009] Basically, the suitcase with built-in side table revealed here has a main suitcase whose wall is equipped with a compartment in which a side table with retractable legs is inserted.

[0010] The suitcase now revealed aims to reduce the problem observed when a person goes to a conference, lecture, mentoring session or any other event, in which they must remain seated for many hours, needing to use notebooks or laptops, without having any place to support them.

[0011] This is a practical case for use in various locations. It is a product that will meet the need for a side table, including supporting projectors or other equipment that requires transportation, such as notebooks and cameras. It can even be used by musicians who need to support sheet music or speakers, or even by salespeople who transport their products and need a table to display them.

[0012] In order to remedy the flaws in the current state of the art highlighted above, the present invention patent aims to propose a suitcase equipped with a built-in side table, the wall of which is equipped with a compartment in which a side table with retractable legs is inserted.

[0026] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0024] The case (1) now revealed is composed of a compartment (1.1) in which at least one tilting table (1.2) is inserted, equipped with one or more retractable legs (1.3), preferably two.

[0025] The tilting table (1.2) is fixed vertically or horizontally in the upper portion of the compartment (1.1) of the suitcase (1) itself, depending on the preferred orientation of the suitcase (1), whether with the width greater than the height, or with the height greater than the width, or square or of other shapes, by means of any fixing elements that allow the rotation of the lid (1.2) around the axis, as shown in figures 1 to 5.

[0026] The table (1.2) is fixed in a tilting manner next to the suitcase (1) by means of retractable legs (1.4) positioned in a sliding manner in grooves (1.4A) that allow the height of the table to be adjusted in proportion to the height of the suitcase (1).

Claims

CLAIMS:

1. TRAVEL SUITCASE WITH BUILT-IN SUPPORT TABLE which comprises a suitcase (1) in the strict sense characterized by being equipped with at least one compartment (1.1) in which at least one tilting table (1.2) equipped with a retractable leg (1.3)(1.4) is inserted.

2. TRAVEL SUITCASE WITH BUILT-IN SUPPORT TABLE, according to claim 1, characterized in that the suitcase (1) is equipped with retractable legs (1.3).

3. TRAVEL SUITCASE WITH BUILT-IN SUPPORT TABLE, according to claim 1, characterized in that the suitcase (1) is equipped with retractable legs (1.4) positioned in the slot (1.4A).

4. TRAVEL SUITCASE WITH BUILT-IN SUPPORT TABLE, according to claim 1, characterized in that the legs (1.4) are equipped with an end (1.4B) for tilting the table (1.2).

5. TRAVEL SUITCASE WITH BUILT-IN SUPPORT TABLE, according to claim 1, characterized in that the legs (1.4) raise the table (1.2) above the height limit of the suitcase (1.1).

6. SUITCASE WITH BUILT-IN SUPPORT TABLE, according to claim 1, characterized in that the tilting table (1.2) is fixed vertically or horizontally to the upper portion of the compartment (1.1) of the suitcase (1) itself, depending on the preferred orientation of the suitcase (1).

7. TRAVEL SUITCASE WITH BUILT-IN SUPPORT TABLE, according to claim 1, characterized in that the retractable legs (1.3) are fixed to the table (1.2) through a designed structure (1.2A) that allows pressure fixing.
