Description

Hidden slide zipper slider

[0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of slide fasteners, and more particularly to a slider for a concealed slide fastener.

[0002] Hidden slide fasteners are sometimes used in women's skirts, winter clothing, jackets, and other clothing, and when the zipper is fastened, the elements are not visible from the surface, improving the appearance of the clothing.

[0003] A concealed slide fastener comprises a pair of tapes, fastener stringers fixed to the inner edges of each tape, and a slider attached to the fastener stringers. When the slider is pulled in the longitudinal direction of the tapes, the pair of fastener stringers are engaged or disengaged. Typically, the slider mainly comprises a slider body and a pull tab attached to the slider body. The slider body comprises a lower wing, guide posts fixed to the lower wing, an upper wing fixedly connected to the guide posts, wall sections fixed to the outer edges of both left and right sides of the lower wing in the width direction of the slider body, and flanges extending inward from the pair of wall sections toward the upper wing. An element passage is formed between the lower wing, guide posts, upper wing, wall sections, and flanges, and the fastener stringer of the concealed slide fastener is housed in the element passage. The front end opening of the element passage is the shoulder of the slider body, i.e., the opening formed between the front end of the wall portion of the slider body, the front end of the flange, and the front end of the lower blade (see, for example, Patent Document 1, "Slider for Slide Fastener").

[0004] In the slider of the concealed slide fastener disclosed in the above-mentioned prior art, the guide posts are located on the front side of the wall and flange, resulting in a protruding structure in which the front part of the lower wing protrudes forward, resulting in a large shoulder on the slider body. As a result, when the concealed slide fastener is actually used, especially when it is used in contact with thin fabric, the slider of the concealed slide fastener can easily catch the thin fabric when pulled. In other words, the thin fabric can easily enter the element passage through the large shoulder, clogging the element passage, causing the slider to become stuck and ultimately resulting in the fastener becoming stuck.

[0005] Chinese Patent Application Publication No. 201480079320.9

[0006] In view of the above-mentioned drawbacks of the prior art, the technical problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a slider for a concealed slide fastener that is less likely to cause fabric to become caught in the slider.

[0007] In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the slider for a hidden slide fastener provided by the present invention comprises a slider body, the slider body comprising a lower wing, a guide post erected at the front end of the lower wing, an upper wing extending rearward from the guide post, wall portions erected on the left and right outer edges of the lower wing, and flanges extending inward from the upper ends of the wall portions so as to approach each other, wherein a recessed portion recessed rearward is provided at the front end of the lower wing, the front end of the wall portion is a wall portion extension portion extending forward to the front end of the lower wing, and the front end of the flange is a flange extension portion extending forward to the front end of the lower wing.

[0008] In the slider for a concealed slide fastener according to the present invention, firstly, the slider body is provided with a recess recessed toward the rear at the front end of the lower wing, which allows fabric to escape and reduces the possibility of the fabric entering the element passage, i.e., reduces the probability of the fabric getting caught in the slider body. Secondly, the slider body has wall extensions and flange extensions formed by extending the walls and flanges forward, which reduce the shoulder at the front end of the slider body, particularly the shoulder, making it more difficult for the fabric to enter the element passage through the shoulder, i.e., reducing the possibility of the fabric getting caught. Therefore, the present application reliably reduces the probability of fabric getting caught by using the recessed portion at the front end of the lower wing plate of the slider body, the wall extension portion extending forward at the front end of the wall, and the flange extension portion extending forward at the front end of the flange, and can reliably reduce the problem of thin fabric getting caught in particular, thereby avoiding clogging of the element passage due to fabric getting caught and reliably guaranteeing smooth sliding of the slider for the concealed slide fastener.

[0009] Furthermore, inclined surfaces extending diagonally upward are provided on both the left and right sides of the front lower surface of the lower blade, and these inclined surfaces provide space for the fabric to enter the underside of the lower blade, allowing the fabric to escape more suitably and guiding the fabric to the underside of the lower blade, more reliably preventing the fabric from getting caught in the element passage.

[0010] Furthermore, the guide post has a columnar protrusion at the lower end of its front end, which protrudes below the underside of the lower blade, and the underside of the lower blade is provided with a downward convex structure only at the columnar protrusion. This reduces contact between the underside of the slider body and the fabric, which prevents the slider body from moving with the fabric during sliding and prevents the fabric from getting caught. In addition, the columnar protrusion with a downward convex structure creates a larger space below the lower blade of the slider body, more effectively guiding the fabric to the underside of the lower blade, i.e., more effectively realizing fabric escape, more reliably reducing the possibility of fabric getting caught and ensuring smooth sliding of the slider for the concealed slide fastener.

[0011] Furthermore, the wall extension has a parallel portion, which extends in a straight line back and forth along the longitudinal direction of the slider body, and while assuming that the shoulder opening is small, the transition of the wall of the slider body can be made smooth and friction between the wall and the fabric can be reduced.

[0012] Furthermore, the front end of the flange extension protrudes further forward than the front end of the wall extension, and the outer contour of this part of the flange extension that protrudes further forward than the wall extension is an arc contour, making the appearance of the upper surface of the slider body smooth and free of sharp portions, i.e., improving the design of the front surface of the slider body.

[0013] Furthermore, the guide posts and the recesses are both located at the middle of the lower blade in the width direction of the slider body. This allows the fabric to escape evenly, and the effect of preventing the fabric from getting caught is further improved. In addition, the slider body has a left-right symmetrical structure in the width direction, improving the design of the slider body.

[0014] Furthermore, the slider for the concealed slide fastener further comprises a pull tab, and the slider body further comprises an attachment part, the attachment part being provided on the guide post and / or upper wing, and the pull tab being attached to the attachment part. The pull tab is gripped by a user, and by gripping the pull tab, the slider for the concealed slide fastener can be easily pulled back and forth in the longitudinal direction of the fastener, improving convenience of operation.

[0015] Furthermore, the slider body is an integrally molded member, which can increase the structural strength of the slider body and also facilitates the processing and manufacturing of the slider body.

[0016] As described above, the slider for a concealed slide fastener according to the present invention has the following beneficial effects.

[0017] In this application, the recess at the front end of the lower wing of the slider body makes it easier for the fabric to escape and reduces the possibility of the fabric entering the element passage. Furthermore, the wall extension extending forward at the front end of the wall of the slider body and the flange extension extending forward at the front end of the flange narrow the shoulder at the front end of the slider body, making it more difficult for the fabric to enter the element passage through the shoulder, reliably reducing the probability of the fabric getting caught and preventing the element passage from being clogged due to the fabric getting caught, ultimately reliably guaranteeing the smooth sliding of the slider for the concealed slide fastener.

[0023] The present invention relates to the field of slide fasteners, and more particularly to a slider for a hidden slide fastener, i.e., a slider used in a hidden slide fastener. The longitudinal, width, and thickness directions of the slider for a hidden slide fastener are the same as the longitudinal, width, and thickness directions of the slide fastener. In the following examples, for convenience of explanation, the longitudinal direction of the hidden slide fastener is defined as the front-to-back direction, the width direction of the hidden slide fastener as the left-to-right direction, and the thickness direction of the hidden slide fastener as the up-to-down direction, and the front direction is the direction in which the slider for the hidden slide fastener moves when fastening the hidden slide fastener. Based on this, in the layout diagram shown in Figure 4, the top and bottom of the paper are the front and back directions, respectively, the left and right sides of the paper are the left and right directions, respectively, and the front and back sides of the paper are the up and down directions, respectively.

[0024] Typically, a hidden slide fastener comprises a pair of tapes aligned side by side and extending forward and backward, fastener stringers fixed to the inner edges of each tape and extending forward and backward, and a hidden slide fastener slider that engages with the pair of fastener stringers. The hidden slide fastener slider comprises a slider body 10 and a pull tab attached to the top surface of the slider body 10. By grasping the pull tab, a user can easily pull the slider body 10 back and forth in the longitudinal direction of the fastener, causing the entire hidden slide fastener slider to slide back and forth on the fastener stringer in the longitudinal direction of the fastener stringer. When the hidden slide fastener slider moves forward, it closes the pair of fastener stringers, and when the hidden slide fastener slider moves backward, it opens the pair of fastener stringers, thereby opening and closing the hidden slide fastener accordingly. The pull tab improves the user's convenience in pulling the hidden slide fastener slider back and forth. The front surface of the slider body 10 is its upper surface, and the rear surface of the slider body 10 is its lower surface, with the lower surface of the slider body 10 contacting the wearer's skin.

[0025] Concealed slide fasteners are often attached to women's clothing where the fastener should not be clearly visible, such as one-piece dresses, skirts, etc. In such cases, the fabric combined with the back side of the concealed slide fastener is usually thin. The slider for a concealed slide fastener according to the present application makes it difficult for the thin fabric used in combination to penetrate into the slider for a concealed slide fastener, reducing the possibility of the thin fabric getting caught in the slider.

[0026] As shown in Figures 1 and 2, the slider body 10 of the slider for a concealed slide fastener comprises a lower blade 20, a guide post 30 erected at the front end of the lower blade 20, an upper blade 40 extending rearward from the guide post 30, walls 50 erected on the left and right outer edges of the lower blade 20, and flanges 60 extending inward from the upper ends of the walls 50 so as to approach each other. The upper blade 40 and the lower blade 20 are installed opposite each other vertically, and the pair of left and right walls 50 have a symmetrical structure, as do the pair of left and right flanges 60. The guide post 30 and the upper blade 40 are both erected between the pair of left and right flanges 60. In the slider body 10, the space formed between the lower blade 20, guide post 30, upper blade 40, wall 50, and flange 60 constitutes an element passage 70 of the slider body 10. The element passage 70 has a front-to-rear through structure and an open top end structure. The front end opening of the element passage 70 is a shoulder 71. An element of a fastener stringer of a concealed slide fastener is housed in the element passage 70. Preferably, the slider body 10 further comprises an attachment portion, and although the attachment portion is not shown, a pull tab is attached to the attachment portion, whereby the pull tab is attached to the upper surface of the slider body 10. There are several installation forms of the attachment portion, for example, the attachment portion is installed only on the guide post 30, or the attachment portion is installed only on the upper wing 40, or further, for example, the attachment portion is installed on both the guide post 30 and the upper wing 40.

[0027] 1 and 2, the front end of the lower blade 20 is provided with a recess 21 recessed rearward. Therefore, the contour of the front end of the lower blade 20 is not a straight contour extending straight from side to side, but a rearward concave contour recessed rearward. The rearward concave recess 21 at the front end of the lower blade 20 allows fabric to escape outward from the slider body 10, reducing the possibility of fabric entering the element passage 70 and the probability of fabric getting caught in the slider body 10. In this embodiment, the wall 50 and flange 60 of the slider body 10 both extend forward, and the front end of the wall 50 forms a wall extension 51 extending forward to the front end of the lower blade 20, and the front end of the flange 60 forms a flange extension 61 extending forward to the front end of the lower blade 20. In this way, the wall 50 and flange 60 of the slider body 10 both extend forward, forming a wall extension 51 and a flange extension 61, which make the shoulder 71 at the front end of the slider body 10 smaller, and in particular narrow the shoulder 71, making it more difficult for the fabric to enter the element passage 70 through the shoulder 71, and reducing the possibility of the fabric getting caught in the passage.

[0028] Therefore, in this embodiment, the structure of the slider body 10 is improved by adding the recess 21 at the front end of the lower wing 20 of the slider body 10, the wall extension 51 extending forward from the front end of the wall 50, and the flange extension 61 extending forward from the front end of the flange 60, and the recess 21 for allowing the fabric to escape, and the wall extension 51 and flange extension 61 for narrowing the shoulder 71 are added, which reliably reduces the probability of the fabric getting caught, particularly the problem of thin fabric getting caught, and prevents more fabric than necessary from entering the slider body 10, avoids clogging of the element passage 70 due to fabric getting caught, and reliably guarantees the smooth sliding of the slider for the concealed slide fastener.

[0029] Preferably, the recessed portion 21 recessed rearward at the front end of the lower blade 20 may have a plurality of shapes, and in this embodiment, the recessed portion 21 is V-shaped as shown in Figures 4 and 5. In the width direction of the slider body 10, i.e., the left-right direction, the guide post 30 is positioned at the middle position of the lower blade 20, and the recessed portion 21 is also positioned at the middle position of the lower blade 20. This allows the fabric to escape evenly, and more effectively prevents the fabric from getting caught. In addition, the slider body 10 has a left-right symmetrical structure in the width direction, improving the design of the slider body 10.

[0030] 3, 5, and 7, the lower blade 20 has an inclined surface 22 extending obliquely upward on both the left and right sides of its front underside. The left inclined surface 22 extends upward and leftward, while the right inclined surface 22 extends upward and rightward. The thickness of the inclined surface 22 on the lower blade 20 gradually decreases with increasing distance from the guide post 30. The inclined surface 22 on the lower surface of the lower blade 20 inclines upward as it moves away from the guide post 30, forming an escape space below the inclined surface 22 on the lower surface of the lower blade 20 that can accommodate the dough. The inclined surface 22 provides a space for the dough to enter the underside of the lower blade 20, allowing the dough to escape more efficiently. The dough is guided under the inclined surface 22 of the lower blade 20, thereby more reliably preventing the dough from getting caught in the element passage 70.

[0031] 3 and 5-7, the guide post 30 has a columnar protrusion 31 at its lower front end, which protrudes below the underside of the lower blade 20, and the underside of the lower blade 20 is provided with a downwardly convex structure only at the location of the columnar protrusion 31. The downwardly convex structure of the columnar protrusion 31 contacts the fabric, reducing contact between the underside of the slider body 10 and the fabric. This reduced contact prevents the slider body 10 from moving with the fabric during sliding, preventing the fabric from becoming trapped. Furthermore, the downwardly convex columnar protrusion 31 creates a large space below the lower blade 20 of the slider body 10, more effectively guiding the fabric toward the underside of the lower blade 20, i.e., more effectively allowing the fabric to escape, more reliably reducing the possibility of the fabric becoming trapped, and ensuring smooth sliding of the slider for the concealed slide fastener. Furthermore, the downwardly convex columnar protrusions 31 can also reduce contact between the slider body 10 and the wearer's skin, reducing discomfort and making it easier to increase the size of the slider body 10 .

[0032] 4, the wall extension 51 has a parallel portion 52 that extends in a straight line in the front-to-rear direction along the longitudinal direction of the slider body 10. In the present application, while it is assumed that the provision of the wall extension 51 narrows the shoulder opening 71, the provision of the parallel portion 52 in the wall extension 51 allows the wall extension 51 to extend smoothly forward, which smooths the transition of the wall 50 of the slider body 10, reduces friction between the wall 50 and the fabric, and improves the design of the slider body 10.

[0033] Furthermore, as shown in Figures 2 to 4, the front end of the flange extension portion 61 protrudes slightly further forward than the front end of the wall extension portion 51, and the outer contour of this portion of the flange extension portion 61 that protrudes further forward than the wall extension portion 51 is an arc contour 62, making the appearance of the top surface of the slider body 10 smooth and free of sharp portions, i.e., improving the design of the front surface of the slider body 10.

[0034] Furthermore, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the slider body 10 having the above structure is an integrally molded member, which can increase the structural strength of the slider body 10 and also facilitates the processing and manufacturing of the slider body 10; for example, the slider body 10 can be processed using an injection molding method.

[0035] As described above, the present application provides space for the fabric to escape outward by using the rearward recessed portion 21 at the front end of the lower blade 20, the upwardly sloping inclined surface 22 on the underside of the lower blade 20, and the columnar protrusion 31 protruding below the lower blade 20, thereby reducing the possibility of the fabric getting caught. Furthermore, the present application narrows the shoulder 71 at the front end of the element passage 70 by providing the wall extension 51 and the flange extension 61, thereby reducing the possibility of the fabric getting caught. Finally, the present application reliably prevents more fabric than necessary from entering the slider body 10, ensuring smooth forward and backward sliding of the slider for a concealed slide fastener.

[0036] Therefore, the present invention effectively overcomes various drawbacks in the prior art and has great industrial applicability.

[0037] The above embodiments are merely illustrative of the principles and effects of the present invention and are not intended to limit the present invention. Anyone skilled in the art may make modifications or changes to the above embodiments without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. Therefore, any equivalent modifications or changes made by a person of ordinary skill in the art without departing from the spirit and technical concept described in the present invention should be included in the scope of the present claims.
