[0171] FIG2 is an interactive diagram of a communication method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in FIG2 , the embodiment of the present disclosure relates to a communication method, and the method includes:

[0172] Step S2101: The network device sends second information to the terminal.

[0173] In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the network device hopes that the terminal predicts the second measurement result based on the first measurement result, so the network device configures an instruction for the terminal to predict the second measurement result based on the first measurement result through the second information.

[0174] In some embodiments, the second information is used to configure event information indicating that a second measurement result predicted based on the first measurement result satisfies a measurement event. In some embodiments, the second information is used to configure the terminal to predict, based on the first measurement result, whether a future second measurement result satisfies the measurement event, and thereby determine whether to report the measurement result.

[0175] In some embodiments, the second information includes at least one of the following:

[0176] (1) Whether to predict a second measurement result of a measurement event based on the first measurement result.

[0177] In some embodiments, the second information includes a first value, then the second information indicates a configuration for predicting a second measurement result of a measurement event based on the first measurement result. In some embodiments, the second information includes a second value, then the second information does not indicate a configuration for predicting a second measurement result of a measurement event based on the first measurement result.

[0178] In some embodiments, the second information includes one bit, which corresponds to the first value or the second value, or the second information includes two bits, which correspond to the first value or the second value.

[0179] For example, if the second information includes one bit, if the bit is 1, the second information indicates a configuration for predicting the second measurement result of the measurement event based on the first measurement result. If the bit is 0, the second information indicates a configuration for not predicting the second measurement result of the measurement event based on the first measurement result.

[0180] (2) A time period for predicting a second measurement result of a measurement event based on the first measurement result.

[0181] In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the terminal may predict the second measurement result of the measurement event based on the first measurement result within the time period, and the terminal does not predict the second measurement result of the measurement event outside the time period based on the first measurement result.

[0182] (3) The type of predicted reference signal.

[0183] In some embodiments, the type of the reference signal includes at least one of SSB (Synchronization Signal / PBCH Block) or CSI-RS (Channel State Information-Reference Signal).

[0184] (4) Measurement type.

[0185] In some embodiments, the measurement type includes at least one of RSRP (Reference Signal Receiving Power), RSRQ (Reference Signal Receiving Quality), and SINR (Signal-to-Noise and Interference Ratio).

[0186] (5) Duration threshold.

[0187] In some embodiments, the duration threshold is used to indicate whether the duration that the second measurement result satisfies the measurement condition satisfies the condition for reporting event information. For example, if the duration that the second measurement result satisfies the measurement condition is greater than the duration threshold, then the condition for reporting event information is determined to be satisfied. For another example, if the duration that the second measurement result satisfies the measurement condition is not greater than the duration threshold, then the condition for reporting event information is determined not to be satisfied.

[0188] In some embodiments, the network device sends the first information via IE EventTriggerConfig. Optionally, a prediction field is added to the IE EventTriggerConfig to configure whether the terminal predicts a second measurement result of the measurement event based on the first measurement result.

[0189] Step S2102: The terminal measures the primary cell and the neighboring cell to obtain a first measurement result.

[0190] In the embodiments of the present disclosure, the terminal performs measurements on the primary cell and neighboring cells separately to obtain measurement results. In some embodiments, the measurements include at least one of RSRP, RSRQ, and SINR. For example, if the measurements include RSRP, the terminal performs RSRP measurements on the primary cell and neighboring cells. For example, if the measurements include RSRQ, the terminal performs RSRQ measurements on the primary cell and neighboring cells.

[0191] In some embodiments, the first measurement result includes at least one of a measurement result of a primary cell or a measurement result of a neighboring cell. For example, the first measurement result includes the measurement result of the primary cell. For another example, the first measurement result includes the measurement result of the neighboring cell. For another example, the first measurement result includes the measurement results of the primary cell and the neighboring cell.

[0192] In some embodiments, the terminal may measure the SSB to obtain the first measurement result. Alternatively, the terminal may measure the CSI-RS to obtain the first measurement result.

[0193] Step S2103: The terminal predicts and obtains a second measurement result based on the first measurement result.

[0194] In some embodiments, the first measurement result is obtained before the second measurement result. Alternatively, the first measurement result can be understood as the measurement result obtained by the current terminal, and the second measurement result can be understood as the measurement result predicted at a subsequent time. In other words, the second measurement result can be understood as a second measurement result obtained in the future.

[0195] In some embodiments, an AI model is configured in the terminal, and the second measurement result can be predicted based on the first measurement result through the AI model.

[0196] In some embodiments, the terminal or network device may train the AI model so that the trained AI model has the ability to predict subsequent measurement results based on the measurement results.

[0197] Step S2104: If the second measurement result meets the measurement event entry condition, and the duration for which the second measurement result meets the measurement event entry condition is greater than the duration threshold, the terminal sends the first information to the network device.

[0198] In some embodiments, the first information is used to indicate event information that the second measurement result predicted based on the first measurement result satisfies the measurement event. In some embodiments, the event information includes the measurement result, the time when the measurement event is satisfied, etc., which is not limited in the embodiments of the present disclosure.

[0199] In some embodiments, the measurement event entry condition refers to the second measurement result satisfying the measurement event, or can also be understood as the measurement event entry condition referring to the condition that triggers measurement reporting, which is not limited in the embodiments of the present disclosure. In some embodiments, the measurement event entry condition can also be referred to as a measurement event triggering condition, an event triggering condition, etc., which is not limited in the embodiments of the present disclosure.

[0200] In some embodiments, the duration threshold is agreed upon by the communication protocol, or configured by the network device, which is not limited in the embodiments of the present disclosure. For example, the duration threshold is 5ms (milliseconds), 10ms, or other values, which is not limited in the embodiments of the present disclosure.

[0201] In the embodiment of the present disclosure, if the second measurement result satisfies the measurement event entry condition and the duration for which the measurement event entry condition is satisfied is greater than the duration threshold, it indicates that the terminal may report information about the measurement event. Since the second measurement result is a predicted result, it can be understood that the second measurement result satisfies the measurement event entry condition within the future duration, and the measurement event is triggered.

[0202] In some embodiments, the network device receives the first information sent by the terminal. In some embodiments, the terminal sends the first information. In some embodiments, the network device receives the first information.

[0203] In some embodiments, the measurement event entry condition includes at least one of the following:

[0204] (1) The second measurement result is greater than the measurement threshold.

[0205] In the embodiment of the present disclosure, after predicting the second measurement result based on the first measurement result, the terminal may determine the relationship between the second measurement result and the measurement threshold, and further determine whether the second measurement result meets the measurement event entry condition.

[0206] In some embodiments, the second measurement result includes a measurement result of a neighboring cell. If the measurement result of the neighboring cell is greater than a measurement threshold, it indicates that the second measurement result meets a measurement event entry condition.

[0207] (2) The neighboring cell measurement result included in the second measurement result is greater than the primary cell measurement result.

[0208] In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the second measurement result includes a measurement result of the primary cell and a measurement result of the neighboring cell. If the measurement result of the neighboring cell is greater than the measurement result of the primary cell, it is determined that the second measurement result meets the measurement event triggering condition.

[0209] (3) The sum of the neighboring cell measurement result and the first offset value included in the second measurement result is greater than the sum of the primary cell measurement result and the second offset value.

[0210] In an embodiment of the present disclosure, the neighboring cell corresponds to a first offset value, and the primary cell corresponds to a second offset value. If the sum of the neighboring cell measurement result and the first offset value is greater than the sum of the primary cell measurement result and the second offset value, it is determined that the second measurement result meets the measurement event entry condition.

[0211] In some embodiments, the first offset value includes at least one of an offset of a neighboring cell, an offset of a primary cell, and a hysteresis of a measurement event. The second offset value includes at least one of an offset of a neighboring cell, an offset of a primary cell, and an offset of a measurement event configuration.

[0212] In some embodiments, the measurement event is event A3 as an example for illustration. Mn is the neighboring cell measurement result, and Mp is the SpCell measurement result. Ofn and Ocn are the offsets of the neighboring cell, Ofp and Ocp are the offsets of the SpCell, Off is the offset configured for the A3 event, and Hys is the hysteresis of the A3 event. The measurement event entry condition is Mn+Ofn+Ocn–Hys>Mp+Ofp+Ocp+Off. For example, the first offset value is Ofn+Ocn–Hys, and the second offset value is Ofp+Ocp+Off.

[0213] In some embodiments, the first information includes at least one of the following:

[0214] (1) The moment when the second measurement result meets the measurement event entry condition.

[0215] In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the second measurement result includes measurement results at different times. When it is determined that the second measurement result begins to meet the measurement event entry condition, the time is recorded, and the time when the second measurement result meets the measurement event entry condition is subsequently reported through the first information.

[0216] In some embodiments, the time is a relative time, or the time is an absolute time. In some embodiments, the relative time is a relative time calculated a certain period of time after the time when the terminal sends the first information. For example, the time when the second measurement result meets the measurement event entry condition is 400 ms after the time when the terminal sends the first information.

[0217] In some embodiments, the absolute time is a numerical value. In some embodiments, the time corresponds to a neighboring cell in a one-to-one relationship. Optionally, each neighboring cell corresponds to an absolute time. In some embodiments, the time corresponds to multiple neighboring cells. Optionally, the time is a single value that applies to each neighboring cell.

[0218] In some embodiments, the terminal indicates the absolute time by reporting the timing relationship of the wireless air interface.

[0219] In some embodiments, the system frame number corresponding to the absolute time is indicated by SFN.

[0220] In some embodiments, the subframe corresponding to the absolute time is indicated by the SFN and the subframe number within the frame.

[0221] In some embodiments, the time slot corresponding to the absolute time is indicated by the SFN and the time slot number within the frame.

[0222] In some embodiments, the subframe corresponding to the absolute time and the number of the OFDM symbol in the subframe are indicated by the SFN and the subframe number in the frame.

[0223] In some embodiments, the time slot corresponding to the absolute time and the number of the OFDM symbol in the time slot are indicated by the SFN and the time slot number in the frame.

[0224] In some embodiments, the absolute time is indicated by the SFN and the number of OFDM symbols within the frame.

[0225] It should be noted that the above embodiment is described by taking the absolute time through the air interface as an example. In other embodiments, the absolute time is the GPS time or the UTC time.

[0226] (2) Measurement identification.

[0227] In an embodiment of the present disclosure, the measurement identifier is used to associate a measurement object with a reporting configuration. In some embodiments, the measurement object refers to a list of measured objects. For intra-frequency and inter-frequency measurements, the measurement object indicates the time domain, frequency domain position and subcarrier spacing of a reference signal. In some embodiments, the reporting configuration includes a reporting criterion, a reference signal type and a reporting format. The reporting criterion refers to the criterion for triggering the terminal to send a measurement report, which can be periodic or event-driven.

[0228] (3) The second measurement result satisfies the information of the neighboring cell corresponding to the measurement event entry condition.

[0229] In some embodiments, a primary cell may correspond to multiple neighboring cells, where the second measurement results of some neighboring cells may meet the measurement event entry conditions, while the second measurement results of other neighboring cells may not meet the measurement event entry conditions. Therefore, the reported neighboring cell information indicates which neighboring cells' second measurement results meet the measurement event entry conditions.

[0230] In some embodiments, the first information further includes:

[0231] (1) The second measurement result of the primary cell and / or the second measurement result of the neighboring cell that meets the measurement event.

[0232] (1) The first measurement result of the primary cell and / or the first measurement result of the neighboring cell that meets the measurement event.

[0233] It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present disclosure, step S2104 may also be replaced by the terminal sending the first information to the network device.

[0234] It should be noted that the above embodiments are described by taking the second measurement result satisfying the measurement event entry condition as an example. In another embodiment, the second measurement result satisfies the measurement event departure condition, and the duration for which the second measurement result satisfies the measurement departure condition is not less than the duration threshold, and the first information is sent to the network device.

[0235] In some embodiments, the measurement event departure condition includes at least one of the following:

[0236] (1) The second measurement result is less than the measurement threshold;

[0237] (2) The neighbor cell measurement result included in the second measurement result is less than the serving cell measurement result;

[0238] (3) The sum of the neighbor cell measurement result included in the second measurement result and the first offset value is less than the sum of the serving cell measurement result and the second offset value.

[0239] In some embodiments, the measurement event is described by taking event A3 as an example. Among them, Mn is the neighbor cell measurement result, Mp is the SpCell measurement result. Ofn and Ocn are the offsets of the neighbor cell, Ofp and Ocp are the offsets of the SpCell, Off is the offset configured for the A3 event, and Hys is the hysteresis of the A3 event. Among them, the measurement event departure condition is Mn + Ofn + Ocn + Hys < Mp + Ofp + Ocp + Off. For example, the first offset value is Ofn + Ocn – Hys, and the second offset value is Ofp + Ocp + Off.

[0240] In some embodiments, the first information further includes:

[0241] (1) The second measurement result of the serving cell and / or the second measurement result of the neighbor cell that satisfies the measurement event; or,

[0242] (2) The first measurement result of the serving cell and / or the first measurement result of the neighbor cell that satisfies the measurement event.

[0243] In some embodiments, the indication of the above measurement event departure condition can be implicit. Optionally, when reporting the information of the predicted measurement event, the neighbor cell information whose duration for satisfying the measurement event departure condition has reached the configured duration threshold is no longer included.

[0244] In some embodiments, the indication of the above measurement event departure condition can be explicit. Optionally, the measurement identifier and the information of the corresponding neighbor cell are indicated and it is indicated that the duration for which the neighbor cell has satisfied the measurement event departure condition has reached the configured duration threshold. Optionally, it can also indicate when the duration for satisfying the measurement event departure condition has reached the configured duration threshold and the corresponding measurement result.

[0245] It should be noted that the disclosed embodiments use the example of a terminal sending the first information. Furthermore, a cell handover is triggered between the primary cell and the neighboring cell. The following describes how this inter-cell handover occurs. The primary cell triggers the cell handover, the neighboring cell permits the cell handover, the primary cell notifies the terminal that it can handover to the neighboring cell, and the terminal then switches to the neighboring cell.

[0246] In the disclosed embodiments, a primary cell initiates a handover and sends a handover request message via the Xn interface. In some embodiments, the handover request message is used to request a cell handover. After receiving the handover request message from the primary cell, the neighboring cell returns a handover confirmation message to the primary cell. In some embodiments, the handover confirmation message is used to authorize the cell handover. In some embodiments, the handover confirmation message is used to provide RRC configuration information. The primary cell forwards the handover confirmation message to the terminal based on the RRC configuration information, thereby providing the terminal with the RRC configuration information, allowing the terminal to subsequently switch to the neighboring cell.

[0247] In some embodiments, after the second measurement result satisfies the measurement event, the terminal adds the information of the corresponding neighboring cell to the terminal variable and reports the event information of the measurement event predicted by the AI. For example, the field predictedCellsTriggeredList is introduced in the terminal variable VarMeasReport to store the information of the neighboring cells corresponding to the measurement event trigger. When the AI predicted measurement result satisfies the duration of the measurement event leaving and reaches the configured duration threshold, the terminal removes the information of the corresponding neighboring cell from the terminal variable. Whether the measurement result is also reported when the measurement event leaving condition is met can be configured for event prediction. Existing configurations (such as reportOnLeave) can be used, or a separate configuration can be defined, such as introducing a new domain in IE EventTriggerConfig for configuration.

[0317] In some embodiments, the first information further includes:

[0318] a first measurement result of the primary cell and / or a second measurement result of a neighboring cell that satisfies the measurement event; or

[0319] The first measurement result of the primary cell and / or the first measurement result of the neighboring cell that meets the measurement event.

[0320] FIG5 is a flow chart of a communication method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in FIG5 , the embodiment of the present disclosure relates to a communication method, and the method includes:

[0321] Step S5101: The terminal sends first information to the network device.

[0322] In some embodiments, the first information is used to indicate event information that a second measurement result predicted based on the first measurement result satisfies a measurement event.

[0323] Optional implementations of step S5101 may refer to step S2104 in FIG. 2 , step S3103 in FIG. 3A , and other related parts in the embodiments involved in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3A , which will not be described in detail here.

[0324] Step S5102: The network device receives the first information sent by the terminal.

[0325] Optional implementations of step S5102 may be referred to step S2104 in FIG. 2 , step S3103 in FIG. 3A , and other related parts in the embodiments involved in FIG. 2 and FIG. 3A , which will not be described in detail here.

[0326] In some embodiments, the above method may include the methods of the above embodiments of the communication system side, terminal side, network device side, etc., which will not be repeated here.

[0327] FIG6A is a flow chart of a communication method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in FIG6A , the embodiment of the present disclosure relates to a communication method, and the method includes:

[0328] In step S6101, the terminal uses AI to predict a measurement event according to the configuration of the network. When reporting the measurement result, the terminal reports information about the measurement event predicted by the AI.

[0329] In some embodiments, the moment when the measurement event predicted by the AI meets the configured condition is reported.

[0330] When an AI-predicted measurement event occurs, the UE reports the AI-predicted measurement result after the AI-predicted measurement result meets the entering condition for a duration equal to the configured timeToTrigger. For simplicity, the term "predicted measurement event trigger" refers to "the AI-predicted measurement result meets the entering condition for a duration equal to the configured timeToTrigger."

[0331] FIG. 6B shows an example of an AI-predicted measurement event. In this example, the measured quantity is RSRP and the measurement event is event A3. At time t1, neighboring cell A satisfies the entering condition of event A3 with respect to the serving cell (PCell). The evaluation of event A3 at time t1 can be based on the actual measurement results or on an AI prediction (i.e., predicting at time <t1 whether the entering condition of event A3 is satisfied at t1). According to the AI prediction, from time t1 to t2 (t2 – t1 = timeToTrigger), it is determined whether neighboring cell A can continuously satisfy the entering condition of event A3 with respect to serving cell PCell. If so, then as defined above, a "predicted event trigger" occurs. That is, at time <t2, if the predicted event trigger occurs according to the AI prediction, then the corresponding measurement report is triggered.

[0332] In some embodiments, the network can send the configuration information for the AI-predicted measurement event via RRC signaling. The configuration information can include whether to use AI prediction and report for a specific measurement event, the length of the time window for AI prediction (i.e., starting from the prediction time, predicting up to how long after whether the measurement event is satisfied), the type of reference signal for prediction (SSB or CSI-RS), the type of measured quantity (RSRP, RSRQ, SINR), timeToTrigger, etc. Some of the above configuration information (e.g., the type of reference signal, the type of measured quantity, timeToTrigger, etc.) can share the existing configuration of the measurement event or can be configured separately for the predicted measurement event.

[0333] In some embodiments, the network configures the predicted measurement event through the existing IE EventTriggerConfig. The domain prediction-r19 is introduced to configure whether the UE predicts the measurement event and reports it. In this example, the suffix r19 of the prediction IE indicates its introduction in 3GPP Rel-19. The IEs in this patent can also be introduced in other Releases of 3GPP, and then the suffix will change accordingly. For example, when introduced in Rel-20, the suffix will be r20.

[0334] For example, the implementation code is as follows:

[0335] In some embodiments, when a predicted measurement event is triggered, the UE adds the information of the corresponding neighboring cells to the UE variables and reports the information of the measurement event predicted by the AI. For example, the field predictedCellsTriggeredList is introduced in the UE variable VarMeasReport to store the information of the neighboring cells corresponding to the predicted measurement event trigger. When the duration for which the AI predicted measurement result meets the leaving condition reaches the configured timeToTrigger, the UE removes the information of the corresponding neighboring cells from the UE variables. Whether the measurement result is also reported when the leaving condition is met can be configured for event prediction. Existing configurations (such as reportOnLeave) can be used, or a separate configuration can be defined, such as introducing a new field in IE EventTriggerConfig for configuration.

[0336] For example, the implementation code is as follows:

[0337] In some embodiments, the terminal may use a new RRC message to report the information of the predicted measurement event, or may use an existing RRC message, such as MeasurementReport. The following assumes that the UE uses the existing RRC message MeasurementReport to report the information of the predicted measurement event, but the same applies to using a new RRC message to report the information of the predicted measurement event. When the UE reports the information of the predicted measurement event, the UE needs to report the following information:

[0338] -Measurement ID (measID)

[0339] - Information about the neighboring cells corresponding to the predicted measurement event triggering, which can be obtained from the UE variables mentioned above, such as predictedCellsTriggeredList. The information about the neighboring cells at least includes the physical cell identifiers of the neighboring cells.

[0340] -Predicted specific time of measurement event triggering. This time can be a relative time calculated from the time of reporting or an absolute time. When the UE reports a relative time, for example 400 milliseconds, it indicates that, based on the AI prediction, the measurement event is predicted to be triggered 400 milliseconds from the time of reporting. The specific time of the predicted measurement event triggering can report only one value for the measurement identifier, which is applicable to all neighboring cells where the predicted measurement event is triggered. The specific time of the predicted measurement event triggering can also be reported separately for each neighboring cell where the predicted measurement event is triggered.

[0341] In some embodiments, when the network configuration also reports the measurement results when the duration for which the leaving condition is satisfied reaches the configured timeToTrigger, the terminal may report that the neighboring cell corresponding to the previously reported predicted measurement event trigger has now satisfied the leaving condition for the configured timeToTrigger. This reporting may be implicit, that is, when reporting the information of the predicted measurement event, the information of the neighboring cell that has satisfied the leaving condition for the configured timeToTrigger is no longer included. It may also be a displayed indication, for example, it may indicate the measurement identifier and the information of the corresponding neighboring cell and indicate that the neighboring cell has satisfied the leaving condition for the configured timeToTrigger. Optionally, it may also indicate when the duration for which the leaving condition is satisfied reaches the configured timeToTrigger and the corresponding measurement result.

[0342] There are two ways for the UE to report the absolute time mentioned above:

[0343] Method a: The UE reports the timing relationship of the wireless air interface. The granularity of the timing relationship can be selected as follows:

[0344] If the granularity is frame, SFN is used to indicate the system frame number corresponding to the triggering of the predicted measurement event.

[0345] If the granularity is subframe, the SFN and the subframe number within the frame are used to indicate the subframe corresponding to the triggering of the predicted measurement event.

[0346] If the granularity is timeslot, the timeslot corresponding to the triggering of the predicted measurement event is indicated by the SFN and the timeslot number within the frame, or the timeslot corresponding to the triggering of the predicted measurement event is indicated by the SFN, the subframe number within the frame, and the timeslot number within the subframe.

[0347] If the granularity is OFDM symbols, the subframe can be indicated by the method described above, and the number of OFDM symbols within the subframe can be indicated; or the time slot can be indicated by the method described above, and the number of OFDM symbols within the time slot can be indicated; or the SFN and the number of OFDM symbols within the frame can be used for indication.

[0348] In some embodiments, due to a certain offset between the uplink and downlink timing relationships, the timing relationship of the radio air interface reported by the UE may be based on the downlink timing relationship or the uplink timing relationship. The standard may specify which timing relationship to use, and the present invention does not limit this.

[0349] In some embodiments, due to SFN cycling, the timing relationship reported by the UE indicates the nearest future time point. For example, if the current SFN is 900 and the SFN indicated by the UE is 10, the UE indicates that the measurement event is predicted to be triggered when the SFN cycles to 10 next time.

[0350] In some embodiments, a terminal may communicate with multiple serving cells at the source gNB, and may also communicate with multiple serving cells at the target gNB after handover. The radio air interface timing of each serving cell may differ. Therefore, the UE needs to indicate which serving cell's timing is used for the radio air interface timing. This can be done using various options, such as the current PCell (i.e., in the source gNB or the mobile node) or the current PSCell (i.e., in the source SN).

[0351] In some embodiments, the terminal indicates the time corresponding to the triggering of the predicted measurement event using an absolute time that is independent of the air interface timing, such as GPS time or UTC time.

[0352] Optionally, the terminal may also report the predicted measurement results of the serving cell and / or the neighboring cells that meet the measurement event prediction.

[0353] Optionally, the terminal may also report the current measurement results of the serving cell and / or the neighboring cells that meet the measurement event prediction.

[0354] In some embodiments, the existing IE MeasResultNR is expanded. The IE MeasResultNR indicates cell information (physical cell identifier) and measurement results. The IE MeasResultNR can indicate both serving cell information and neighboring cell information. Therefore, the added predictMeasResult-r19 field indicates the predicted measurement result and can be used to report serving cell and neighboring cell information. When the added predictTime-r19 field indicates neighboring cell information, it can indicate the specific time when the predicted measurement event is triggered.

[0355] In some embodiments, the suffix r19 in the predictMeasResult and predictTime IEs in this example indicates their introduction in 3GPP Rel-19. This IE may also be introduced in other 3GPP releases, in which case the suffix will change accordingly. For example, if introduced in Rel-20, the suffix will be r20. The value of the predictTime IE is only an example and may have different values.

[0356] For example, the code is as follows:
