Abstract

Disclosed is a pad for post-surgery treatment consisting of a body made of a hypoallergenic material and covered on one side with silicone gel, comprising a plurality of protrusions configured to orient pressure areas on the user's body and characterised in that it has a first protrusion (1) in the shape of an inverted triangle, the lower vertex of which has been truncated, a second protrusion (2) and a third protrusion (3) each in the shape of a rectangle truncated by a circle at its upper and lower ends and on one of its sides, and a fourth protrusion (4) and a fifth protrusion (5) each in the shape of a right-angled triangle truncated by a circle on one of its vertices and connected to an assembly formed by an arc and a line segment.

[0004] The object of this specification is a pad for post-surgery treatment in interventions such as liposuction or abdominoplasty, lipomarking or any intervention that requires support of this abdominal or lumbar area, with the particularity that it is materialized in a hypoallergenic material such as polyurethane or other material with equivalent characteristics that is covered by a cover or layer of platinum silicone-based gel with a hardness of less than 0 shores on one of its sides and incorporates a plurality of reliefs, which facilitate the reduction of fibrosis production and the non-accumulation of seroma in the lipo-marking areas thanks to the pressure exerted on the relief areas.

[0006] In the world of cosmetic surgery, liposuction has become one of the most common and sought-after aesthetic procedures. This procedure is designed to remove unwanted fat deposits from specific areas of the body by suctioning the fat using thin cannulas inserted through small incisions in the skin. This procedure is not intended for general weight loss, but rather to shape and contour specific areas of the body.

[0007] Liposuction is generally performed on areas where fat accumulates persistently and is resistant to diet and exercise. Some common areas for liposuction include the abdomen, thighs, buttocks, flanks (the sides of the torso), back, arms, and more.

[0008] Once the procedure is performed, the postoperative period after liposuction is crucial for a successful recovery and achieving the desired results. Rest and allowing the body to recover are essential during this process, as is staying well hydrated and following a healthy diet. Additionally, the use of postoperative compression garments is often recommended to provide the necessary compression for the skin and muscles and to promote the adaptation of the affected tissue to its new shape. This also helps to ensure clean incisions and prevent infection, reduce swelling, minimize bruising, and maintain the desired shape. These garments are typically required for several weeks after the procedure.

[0009] At present, the applicant is not aware of a pad for liposuction treatment made of a hypoallergenic material, such as one part coated with a medical-grade platinum silicone-based gel, and which has a plurality of reliefs that facilitate the reduction of fibrosis production and the prevention of seroma accumulation thanks to its pressure on pronounced areas, such as the one proposed in this specification.

[0010] Description of the invention

[0011] The technical problem solved by the present invention is to facilitate the reduction of fibrosis production and the prevention of seroma accumulation in the lipo-marking areas. To this end, the post-surgical treatment pad, object of the present invention, will be made of a hypoallergenic polyurethane-type material or equivalent and covered with a platinum silicone-based gel on one side, presenting a plurality of reliefs configured to orient the pressure zones on the user's body.

[0012] This pad can be used immediately after surgery and is placed between the treated area and a compression garment, helping to better distribute the compression thanks to its multiple reliefs.

[0013] Thanks to its hypoallergenic material, the pad offers several advantages that make it easier to use and implement in different types of treatment, such as liposuction. These include: improved skin adhesion, comfort, reduced irritation and bruising, and adequate compression of the treatment area, aiding recovery and reducing swelling.

[0014] In addition to the use of this material, one side of the pad is covered with platinum silicone gel with a hardness of less than 0 shores, making it a durable material without losing its adaptability and lightness. [0019] A preferred embodiment of the invention is shown in the attached figure. More specifically, the post-surgery treatment pad comprises a body made of a hypoallergenic polyurethane or equivalent material and covered with a platinum silicone-based gel on one side. It has a plurality of raised reliefs designed to target the pressure zones on the user's body.

[0020] In a preferred embodiment, the pad (10) comprises a width of between 70 and 95 centimeters, a height of between 30 and 40 centimeters and a thickness of between 1 and 2 centimeters. Likewise, the plurality of reliefs comprising the pad has an extra thickness of between 0.5 and 1.5 centimeters.

[0021] The pad (10) has a first relief area (1) in the shape of an inverted triangle with the lower vertex sectioned, comprising an upper base (1a) of between 2 and 4 centimeters and a lower base (1 b) of between 0.5 and 1.5 centimeters.

Claims

CLAIMS 1.- Pad for post-surgery treatment materialized in a body of a hypoallergenic material and covered by silicone gel on one of its sides comprising a plurality of reliefs configured to orient the pressure zones on the user's body and characterized in that it has a first relief zone (1) in the shape of an inverted triangle with the lower vertex sectioned, a second relief zone (2) and a third relief zone (3) in the shape of a rectangle sectioned by a circle at its upper and lower ends as well as on one of its sides, and a fourth relief zone (4) and a fifth relief zone (5) in the shape of a right triangle, sectioned by a circle at one of its vertices, joined to an assembly composed of an arc and a line segment. 2.- Pad for post-surgery treatment according to claim 1, wherein the first relief area (1) comprises an upper base (1a) of between 2 and 4 centimeters and a lower base (1 b) of between 0.5 and 1.5 centimeters. 3.- Pad for post-surgery treatment according to claim 2, wherein the first relief area (1) comprises an upper base (1) of 3 centimeters as a preferred measurement and a lower base (1 b) of 1 centimeter as a preferred measurement. 4.- Pad for post-surgery treatment according to claim 1, wherein the second relief area (2) and the third relief area (3) comprise an upper section (2a, 3a) of between 4 and 6 centimetres in radius, a lower section (2b, 3b) of between 19 and 21 centimetres in radius and a lateral section (2c, 3c) of between 12 and 14 centimetres in radius, as well as a side (2d, 3d) of between 24 and 26 centimetres in length. 5.- Pad for post-surgery treatment according to claim 1, where the fourth relief zone (4) and the fifth relief zone (5) comprise a circular section (4a, 5a) of between 19 and 21 centimeters in radius, an arch (4b, 5b) of between 78 and 82 centimeters in radius, as well as a side (4c, 5c) of between 8 and 12 centimeters in length. 6.- Pad for post-surgery treatment according to claim 1, wherein the pad (10) comprises a width of between 70 and 95 centimeters, a height of between 30 and 40 centimeters, as well as a thickness of between 1 and 2 centimeters. 7.- Pad for post-surgery treatment according to claim 1, where the first relief zone (1), the second relief zone (2), the third relief zone (3), the fourth relief zone (4) and the fifth relief zone (5) comprise an extra thickness of between 0.5 and 1.5 centimeters.

8. Pad for post-surgical treatment according to any of the preceding claims, wherein the body that forms the pad is materialized in hypoallergenic polyurethane.
