[0002] Technical field The invention relates to a rifle slide with a cocking handie that is attached to the slide in a swivelling way around an axis that is parallel to the vertical plane passing through the axis of the rifle barrel.
[0003] Background art in known firearms, there are a number of structural designs of mounting the cocking handle. Most firearms are conceived in such a way that the cocking handle cannot be moved from the right to the left or vice versa to adapt the weapon for a right-handed or left-handed shooter. Their advantage is a relatively simple structure.
[0004] According to the document US3432955 (OLIN MATHIESON CHEM. CORP), the cocking handle is inserted from a side into a groove in the slide body. Another example is represented by the self-loading small-bore rifles CZ 511 , CZ 512 / CZ 515 produced by Ceska zbrojovka a.s.
[0005] Here, to disassemble the weapon or to change the position of the cocking handle from the right to the left or vice versa, the cocking handle must be removed out of the slide, which leads to the formation of two separate parts, and consequently to the risk of losing the cocking handle as a relatively small part.
[0006] With regard to the continuous development of trends not only in this field, such designs are generally insufficient. This results, among other things, from the requirements to adapt the weapon for a right-handed as well as left-handed shooter.
[0007] Such a requirement can be solved e.g. in such a way that the cocking handle has an outlet at both sides of the weapon. An example of such a design is known e.g. from US2024053117 (Smith & Wesson Inc), where the cocking handle assembly consists of at least three parts, The middle part is undismountably threaded onto a rod (recoil spring guide) and further it is fitted with an interface for the connection of handles or control levers at its ends.
[0008] Last, but not least, what is further required is the possibility of easy cleaning of the internal mechanisms of the weapon and the resulting user-friendly disassembly and assembly. Easy dismountability entails that the assembly / disassembly must also be feasible for users with fewer technical and manual skills without the use of tools. Therefore, individual mechanisms should be conceived so as not to fall apart into small parts after being easily removed from the weapon, but to maintain relatively large assemblies.
[0009] The document US 11,614,292 (Browning) describes a structure with a cocking handle that is mounted on a guide rod. The cocking handle can be pivoted around the guide rod by the angle of 90° to remove the slide from the housing.
[0010] Quite different examples of the structure of cocking handles may be represented by military rifles of the AR15 type, or carbines of the M4 type. Here, the cocking handle is positioned at the back at the top outside the upper receiver, in the axis of the firearm. Thus, it is conceived in a both-sided manner, an in addition, it need not be removed when the weapon is disassembled for cleaning.
[0011] The published European patent application EP 4 290 173 A2 (Heckler & Koch GmbH) describes a cocking handle that is mounted in a recess in the loading tube by means of a pin. This whole assembly is then mounted in the firearm receiver in a longitudinally movable way along an axis parallel to the barrel axis on the one hand and rotationally in the range of approx. 0 to 180° around the axis of the loading tube on the other hand. Thus, the cocking handle can protrude from the weapon to the right or to the left. This way, the cocking handle is not fixed to the slide, so it remains in the front position during shooting. However, a disadvantage is that the top housing of the slide must be open to interconnect both the guide grooves for the cocking handle. Then, such a solution is not quite suitable for a hunting weapon in a civilian application.
[0012] The object of the invention is to propose such mounting of the cooking handle that would make it possible to avoid the shortcomings of the prior art.
[0013] Summary of the invention
[0014] The said object is achieved with a rifle slide with a cocking handle that is attached to the slide in a swivelling way around an axis parallel to the vertical plane passing through the axis of the rifle barrel according to the invention the principle of which is that at the top side of the slide a recessed transversal groove is arranged as well as a recessed longitudinal groove that is perpendicular to it wherein the cocking handle is arranged in the transversal groove in a reversable manner between the left and right end position in such a way that the cocking handle is, at one end, fitted with a pair of laterally protruding coaxial cylindrical protrusions that are rotatably mounted in the longitudinal groove. The cylindrical protrusions are held in the recessed longitudinal groove with fixing means.
[0015] An advantage of the structure according to the invention is that the mounting of the cocking handle enables easy reversing of the cocking handle to the left or right side of the rifle, and thus a quick adaptation of the rifle for right-handed or left-handed shooters without the use of tools. In addition, the mounting of the cocking handle is simple to produce, which makes its production easy and economical.
[0016] Any structure known from the prior art can be used as the fixing means for holding the cocking handle in the recessed transversal groove. In a preferred embodiment, the fixing means comprise two pins that are mounted in holes at the top edge of the longitudinal groove in such a way that they pass across the longitudinal groove over the cylindrical protrusions for holding the cocking handle in the slide. [0024] Examples of Embodiments The assembly according to Fig. 1 comprises a rifle slide 2 that has a pair of recoil springs 8 terminated with the base 12 of the recoil mechanism at the rear side. At the opposite side, the slide 2 has a cocking handie 1 that is attached to the slide 2 in a swivelling way around the axis 17, which is, in the described embodiment, parallel to the axis of the rifle barrel. The cooking handle is attached to the slide in such a way that at the top side of the slide 2, a recessed transversal groove 14 is arranged as well as a recessed longitudinal groove 13 that is perpendicular to it (see Fig, 3), and the cocking handle 1 is mounted in the transversal groove 14 in a reversable manner between the left and right position in the range of approx. 0° to 180°. At one end, the cocking handle 1 is fitted with a pair of laterally protruding coaxial cylindrical protrusions 10 (see Fig, 4). which are rotatably mounted in the longitudinal groove 13 wherein the cylindrical protrusions 10 are held in the recessed longitudinal groove 13 with fixing means. According to the shown preferred embodiment, the fixing means comprise two spring pins 11 that are mounted in the holes 15 (see Fig, 3) at the top edge of the longitudinal groove 13 in such a way that they pass across the longitudinal groove 13 over the cylindrical protrusions 10 for holding the cocking handle 1 in the slide 2,

[0026] The described mounting makes it possible to easily tilt the cocking handle 1 without the use of tools either to the right side (see Figs. 5, 6) for right-handed shooters or to the left side (see Figs, 7, 8) for left-handed shooters.
[0027] Before shooting, the shooter grasps the cocking handle 1 with his / her hand and moves the slide 2 by pulling it to him- / herself against the action of the recoil springs 8 rearwards against the shooting direction.
[0028] After releasing the cocking handle 1, the slide 2 is pushed by the force of the recoil springs 8 back to the front, closed position. On moving the slide 2 to the rear position, the firing mechanism is pre-tensioned, i.e. it is brought to such a state that after pulling of the trigger, it may be abruptly released, acting upon the primer of the cartridge case, causing a shot. Before the initiation of the firing mechanism, the slide 2 must be in the front position.
[0029] The movement of the slide 2 to the rear position is also accompanied by the extraction of the cartridge, or empty cartridge case from the barrel chamber, which is followed by its ejection out of the weapon.

Claims
CLAIMS1. A rifle slide (2) with a cocking handle (1) that is attached to the slide (2) in a swivelling way around the axis (17), parallel to the vertical plane passing through the axis of the rifle barrel, characterized in that at the top of the slide (2), a recessed transversal groove (14) is arranged as well as a recessed longitudinal groove (13) that is perpendicular to it wherein the cocking handle (1) is arranged in the transversal groove (14) in a reversable manner between the left and right end position in such a way that the cocking handle (1) is, at one end, fitted with a pair of laterally protruding coaxial cylindrical protrusions (10) that are rotatably mounted in the longitudinal groove (13) wherein the cylindrical protrusions (10) are held in the recessed longitudinal groove (13) with fixing means.
2. The slide according to claim 1. characterized in that the fixing means comprise two pins (11) that are mounted in holes (15) at the top edge of the longitudinal groove (13) in such a way that they pass across the longitudinal groove (13) over the cylindrical protrusions (10) for holding the cocking handle (1) in the slide (2).
