A hypodermic implant device, comprising a barrel; an upper piston segment engaged with an inner wall of the barrel; an axially aligned needle extendably distally out of the barrel for insertion into an object when the upper piston segment is moved distally within the body; a lower piston segment push rod in alignment with the needle, so that upon distal movement of the lower piston segment, the push rod moves distally through the needle expelling a releasable implant housed in the needle; and a means for retraction of the needle into a needle receptacle in the barrel.

A muzzle loading firearm projectile is disclosed that is composed of a multi diameter, hollow base solid copper bullet, the rear cavity filled with a material of low-density, and a gas pressure seal that separates the bullet from the powder charge. The majority of the bullet shank has a diameter less than the bore diameter of the firearm barrel to allow for ease of loading and alignment of the barrel and bullet axis; a narrow ring of material larger than the barrel bore diameter but less than the groove diameter is located at the junction of the bullet shank and nose profile that centers the bullet in the barrel and positively positions the bullet over the powder charge regardless of orientation of the firearm. The low-density material filling the rear cavity of the bullet acts as an expansion medium when impacted by the rear gas seal during the firing process causing the hollow shank of the bullet to expand and lock into the barrel rifling.

A Swan universal receiver sleeve attached to the top of a firearm upper receiver and extended forward above the firearm barrel to a position just short of the firearm front sight. The underside of the rear portion of the sleeve is fixedly attached to the receiver top. The underside of the forward portion of the sleeve has an upper handguard piece attached thereto. A bottom handguard piece is fitted about the bottom of the gun barrel and is attached to the upper handguard piece. The handguard pieces are not physically connected in any way to the gun barrel. The sleeve is self supported by the connection of the rear portion underside to the receiver top. A firearm laser training system according to the present invention includes a laser transmitter assembly and a cartridge adapter assembly, while employing modified blank cartridges to simulate firearm operation. The modified blank cartridges each have a quantity of explosive substance sufficient only to cycle the firearm. The laser assembly is configured for attachment to a firearm barrel and front sight and emits a beam of laser light toward a training system target in response to actuation of the firearm trigger. The laser beam is generally in the form of a pulse having a duration sufficient for the system target to detect a beam impact location. The cartridge assembly is disposed within the firearm barrel to adapt the firearm for compatibility with the modified blank cartridges for simulating firearm operation.

A Swan universal receiver sleeve attached to the top of a firearm upper receiver and extended forward above the firearm barrel to a position just short of the firearm front sight. The underside of the rear portion of the sleeve is fixedly attached to the receiver top. The underside of the forward portion of the sleeve has an upper handguard piece attached thereto. A piston assembly (10) for a flowable materials container having a barrel (14) defining a fluid containing chamber (16). The barrel (14) is made of a body of a cyclic olefin containing polymer or a bridged polycyclic olefin containing polymer. An elastomeric piston (24) is slidably attached to the barrel (14) and provides a seal of the chamber. The piston (24) has a parylene coating on an outer surface thereof to reduce the necessary break away force. A plunger (22) is also provided and has a second mating member (42) removably connecting the plunger to a first mating member (44) of the piston. The first mating member (44) has a series of threads having a major diameter and a minor diameter, and the second mating member (42) has a series of threads having a major diameter and a minor diameter. The major and minor diameters of the second mating members (42) is appreciably smaller than the major and minor diameters of the other of the first mating member (44) to provide ease of connection.

The invention relates to a paintgun having a barrel assembly with a barrel and a firing mechanism for paintballs; a trigger assembly connected with the barrel assembly for actuating the firing mechanism; and a revolving disc for feeding paintballs interposed between the barrel and the firing mechanism; a series of uniformly spaced paintball holes being formed at the rim of the revolving disc that is rotatable by a driving apparatus to bring the paintballs within the paintball holes to a discharge area coaxial to the barrel for discharging the paintballs; and a paintball adjacent to the revolving disc and the firing mechanism within the barrel assembly being provided for storing the paintballs disposed. Meanwhile, the paintball container includes a guiding slope for directing the paintballs into the paintball holes. The revolving disc with the paintballs is rotatable one after another to the discharge area.

The syringe includes a barrel, a plunger, and an adapter for mounting the needle in the distal end of the barrel. The adapter includes a protrusion projecting away from the needle end and into the barrel defining an annular space between the barrel and the protrusion. The plunger and protrusion have complementary surfaces whereby the plunger may grip the adapter for removal of the adapter into the interior of the barrel after use. These complementary surfaces afford initial resistance to further axial movement of the plunger toward the adapter, signalling the user that further axial pressure will permanently lock the plunger and adapter to one another whereby, upon application of full axial pressure on the plunger, the complementary surfaces of the plunger and adapter permanently lock to one another to enable joint unitary movement of the plunger and adapter together with the needle carried by the adapter into the barrel. The adapter includes vent passages communicating between the central passage through the adapter and the annular space whereby air can be vented from the barrel after receiving fluid within the barrel and prior to injection. Thus, the syringe may be oriented in a vertical position needle end uppermost with the vent passages forming the most superior portion of the barrel interior whereby air may be vented.

The present invention is a quick change and torque controlled barrel nut assembly for use on a variety of firearms. The invention is made up of a generally cylindrically shaped barrel nut configured to adaptably connect a barrel to a firearm, a gas tube ring that is configured to fit over the barrel nut and a locknut that holds the gas tube ring in place. This invention allows the gun barrel to be rapidly connected by connecting the barrel to the receiver portion of a firearm, placing the freely rotating stabilizing gas ring in a desired position and tightening the locknut to hold the stabilizing gas ring in place.

A firearm includes a support block having a forward end and a rearward end, and carrying a receiver on a top surface thereof. A rearward barrel guide having a thrust coupling extending radially outwardly therefrom, the thrust coupling engaging an engagement element located at the forward end of the support block, thereby aligning the rearward barrel guide with the support block. Also provided is a barrel having a breech end and a muzzle end, the breech end is received through the rearward barrel guide and coupled to the receiver. A forward barrel guide is fixed to the barrel intermediate the muzzle end and the breech end. A handguard assembly is received over the barrel and coupled to the rearward barrel guide and the forward barrel guide, stabilizing the barrel.

Existing floating handguards have the problem of adding size and weight to M16 style gas operated rifles because these tubular handguards attach to a relatively large diametral surface which lies outward of a firearm operating member or gas tube. Existing handguards are mounted thus so that the handguard inside surface will mechanically clear the gas tube. The present invention solves this problem by providing a handguard system integrated to a firearm, the system having a one-piece extended barrel nut with a smaller diameter outer surface configured to lie inward of the gas tube, between the gas tube and the barrel. A one-piece generally tubular handguard has an outer surface with a longitudinal rib and an inner surface with an inner diameter and a groove which is aligned with the rib. The handguard inner diameter engages the barrel nut outer surface and the groove provides clearance for the gas tube. The rib is configured to maintain the rigidity of the handguard adjacent the groove.

An improved Rail Adaptor System/Rail Accessory System (RAS) which attaches to a firearm. The rail is top opening, modular, and free floats the barrel. Provided is a rigid, lightweight, strong platform for mounting firearm accessories. Heat transmission from the barrel assembly to the user is limited. The user is also protected from ventilated gases originating from the operating system. A quick detachable top rail section is provided so that that gas system may be easily accessed. This removable top section of the rail is what makes this device unique because the RAS may be installed without removing the barrel, gas system, front sight base, flash hider or the barrel nut. The herein described RAS is adaptable to a wide variety of firearms with the use of conversion parts. The top rail “returns to zero” on reinstallation allowing the remounting of various optics and electronic gun sites without the need to realign them.

A fixture for use with AR15/M16 type firearms is provided herein. The fixture is made up of several parts that when used in conjunction with one another mitigate the transfer of torque from the barrel nut to the firearms receiver during barrel installation. The fixture affords the user a method and apparatus that holds the barrel in alignment with the firearm receiver and secures the barrel against rotational movement during installation of a barrel nut or similar device. The fixture may be configured to work with the legacy AR15/M16 type barrel nut, as well as other designs as disclosed herein.

An anchoring system for cavity walls is disclosed. The system includes a stud-type wall anchor and a wire formative veneer tie. The stud has a driver head, a dual-diameter barrel, and a driven tip. A flange at the juncture of the two barrels houses an interior seal; and a flange under the driver head, an exterior seal. The smaller diameter barrel is coextensive with the drywall installation; and the length of the larger diameter barrel, with the rigid insulation. The interior seal seals the insertion point into the drywall installation; and the exterior seal, the opening of the anchor-receiving channel. The interior seal and the larger barrel of the anchor fill the anchor-receiving channel and stabilize the wall anchor. Also, the wall anchor is clamped in place by the seals. The stud-type anchor operates with a variety of veneer ties for different applications.

A firearm barrel nut assembly including a barrel nut, generally cylindrical in shape with a threaded central bore, and an externally threaded locknut which is used in conjunction with the barrel nut to secure a barrel to a firearm upper receiver. The barrel nut has an integral bushing on its exterior constructed to support either the gas tube or piston of the host firearm's operating system. The barrel nut is configured so that it may be independently and non-rotationally held within a vice or other fixture during installation of the barrel and while the locknut is tightened to a preset torque to hold the barrel in place while the barrel nut is independent of the torque applied to the locknut to properly secure the barrel to the upper receiver.
