[0003] The present invention is applicable to the field of both indoor and outdoor furniture and relates to the lighting of rooms.
[0004] In more detail, the present invention refers to a lighting device.
[0005] State of the art
[0006] In the indoor and outdoor furniture sector, and in particular in the lighting of environments, the use of lamps is well known. In particular, as will be seen below, the present invention relates to table or floor stem lamps, but not only. In fact, the invention to be described below can also be applied to ceiling chandeliers.
[0007] The stem lamps of the prior art comprise a support structure, typically consisting of a rest base and a more or less long stem to which a cap is coupled in which the lighting source is inserted. In particular, in known lamps the cap is fixed at a certain point of the stem, typically but not necessarily, in the apical part of the same.
[0008] This aspect, however, is limiting in the case of the need to direct, enlarge and / or reduce the light beam generated by the lamp.
[0009] To overcome the aforementioned drawback, floor or table lamps are known in which the cap is both directable and slidable along the stem. In this way, it is possible to enlarge or reduce the light beam.
[0010] In particular, in the aforementioned lamps the cap is coupled to the stem thanks to the presence of a sliding element typically consisting of a body or a tubular element that is hit by the stem. More in detail, the sliding element comprises locking means for allowing the sliding element to be fixed at a given point of the stem, depending on the needs of the user. In this way it is also possible to rotate the cap 360° or almost around the stem. As for the locking means, they are typically, although not necessarily, constituted by a threaded element that, by screwing it, comes into abutment against the stem and, therefore, allows the cap to be locked at the desired height.
[0011] However, even the aforementioned lamps have some recognized drawbacks. In fact, the movement of the cap along the stem is inconvenient due to the need to first of all unlock the locking means, slide the sliding element along the stem as far as the desired height or rotate the cap towards the desired direction and, therefore, proceed with closing the locking means.
[0012] Moreover, the locking means of the known stem lamps comprises, at the opposite end with respect to the stem, a cap support element, typically consisting of a jointed element in order to give the cap a certain angle. Well, the jointed element must necessarily be made of rather sturdy and resistant materials as it must support the weight of the cap. Otherwise, in the long run it would risk giving way, thus losing the original inclination of the cap.
[0013] However, the weight of the jointed element together with that of the cap, albeit slowly or almost imperceptibly, may result in the loss of the position originally assigned to the cap.
[0014] And not only that. Often the fixing means, especially when they consist of a threaded element to be unscrewed and screwed, can ruin the stem in the long run due to the fact that, in order to lock the cap, they abut on the stem itself.
[0015] Still, the realization of the stem lamps of the prior art is laborious and undoubtedly burdensome due to the multiplicity of elements to be realized and for the sturdiness that the fixing means must have.
[0016] This obviously entails a considerable expenditure of money, with the consequent rise in the sales prices of the lamps described above.
[0017] Presentation of the invention
[0018] The object of the present invention is to overcome at least partially the drawbacks highlighted above by providing a lighting device for portions of rooms that can be easily realized.
[0019] In particular, an object of the present invention is to provide a lighting device that allows directing the light beam.
[0020] In addition, an object of the present invention is to provide a lighting device that allows the amplitude of the light beam to be adjusted.
[0021] Moreover, another object of the present invention is to provide a lighting device that allows an easy sliding of the cap along the stem.
[0022] It follows that a further object of the present invention is to provide a lighting device that is user-friendly.
[0023] Furthermore, a further object of the present invention is to provide a lighting device for portions of rooms that allows preserving the aesthetic integrity of the stem.
[0024] And not only that. Another object of the present invention is to provide a lighting device that makes it possible to avoid the wear of the jointed elements that typically support the caps of the stem lamps of the prior art.
[0025] Not least purpose is to provide a lighting device for portions of rooms that allows cost savings.
[0026] It follows that another object of the present invention is to provide a lighting device that makes it possible to contain the sale prices with respect to what happens with equivalent stem lamps of the prior art.
[0027] The aforementioned purposes, as well as others that will appear more clearly below, are achieved by a lighting device for portions of rooms in accordance with the claims that follow, which are to be considered an integral part of this patent.
[0028] In particular, the lighting device for portions of rooms comprises at least one support structure having at least one stem and also comprises at least one cap.
[0029] According to one aspect of the invention, the cap is slidably coupled to the stem.
[0030] Advantageously, the above makes it possible to move the cap along the length of the stem allowing, still advantageously, to enlarge or reduce the light beam.

[0050] Detailed description of some preferred embodiments
[0051] With reference to the cited figures, we describe the lighting device 1 of portions of rooms which, as can be seen in fig. 1 , consists of a stem lamp, without however constituting a limit for the present invention. In fact, it can also be applied, for example, to chandeliers.
[0052] In particular, like the equivalent lamps of the prior art, the lighting device 1 of the invention comprises a support structure 2 consisting of a base 4 and a stem 5. Moreover, like the equivalent lamps of the prior art, the lighting device 1 comprises a cap 6 in which the lighting source is housed.
[0053] According to one aspect of the invention, the cap 6 is slidably coupled to the stem 5.
[0054] Advantageously, the above makes it possible to move the cap 6 along the length of the stem 5 allowing, still advantageously, to enlarge or reduce the light beam. It follows that what has been said allows, still advantageously, to concentrate the lighting on a certain point or to diffuse the light more widely. In fact, the closer the cap 6 is to the base 4 the narrower the illuminated area; conversely, the further the cap 6 is from the base 4 the wider the illuminated area.

In this regard, it is recalled that, advantageously, the execution of the through hole 8 in the body of the cap 6 makes it possible to bring the centre of gravity of the latter closer to the axis of the stem 5 and therefore limit the moment of force that would lead the cap 6 to slide on the stem 5.

Claims
C L A I M S1 . Lighting device for portions of rooms comprising: at least one support structure (2) having at least one stem (5); at least one cap (6) slidably coupled to said at least one stem (5), said at least one cap (6) comprising at least one through hole (8) adapted to be hit by said at least one stem (5), said at least one through hole (8) identifying at least one tubular element (9) having a plurality of protrusions (10a) emerging from at least one inner wall (10) of said at least one tubular element (9), in said at least one tubular element (9) there being inserted at least one first friction body (20) interposed between said at least one tubular element (9) and said at least one stem (5).
2. Lighting device according to Claim 1 , comprising a first housing seat (21) for said at least one first friction body (20), said first housing seat (21) being arranged in an intermediate position along said at least one tubular element (9).
3. Lighting device according to Claim 1 or 2, comprising at least one second friction body (23) housed in at least one second housing seat (24), said second housing seat (24) being located at least near at least one outlet of said at least one through hole (8).
4. Lighting device according to one or more of the preceding claims, wherein said at least one cap (6) comprises at least a first portion (11) and at least a second portion (12), said at least one tubular element (9) comprising at least a first segment (13) and at least a second segment (14) respectively coupled to said at least a first portion (11) and to said at least a second portion (12).
5. Lighting device according to Claim 4, wherein said at least one first segment (13) and at least one second segment (14) respectively comprise a first free end (16) and a second free end (17), said first free end (16) being shaped so as to be inserted at least partially inside said second free end (17), said first free end (16) comprising a plurality of protruding teeth (19) arranged annularly on said first free end (16) of said tubular element (9) and elastically yieldable, said protruding teeth (19) being shaped to yield towards the inside of said tubular element (9) when said first segment (13) and said second segment (14) are mutually coupled.
6. Lighting device according to one or more of the preceding claims, comprising at least one sealing body (25) interposed between said at least one tubular element (9) and said at least one stem (5), said at least one sealing body (25) being arranged above said at least one first friction body (20) so as to prevent any water leakage.
7. Lighting device according to one or more of the preceding claims, comprising electrical power supply means.
8. Lighting device according to Claim 7, wherein said electrical power supply means comprise at least one battery (27).
