Abstract

Claims

1. A fishing rod comprising: a reel seat body, a fixed hood attached to the reel seat body and into which one end of a reel leg of a reel is inserted, and a floating hood attached to the reel seat body so as to be movable, into which the other end of the reel leg is inserted; and a fishing rod body inserted inside the reel seat from the front to the rear, wherein the upper part of the reel seat body and the upper part of the fishing rod body are hollowed out and have hollowed-out portions on which the reel legs are placed, and the height position of the hollowed-out portions is offset in a direction approaching the axis of the fishing rod body.

2. The fishing rod according to claim 1, wherein the recessed portion is formed by providing a long hole in the upper portion of the reel seat body and the upper portion of the rod body.

3. A fishing rod according to claim 1, characterized in that the recess is formed by providing a long hole in the upper part of the reel seat body and providing an end face in the upper part of the rod body.

4. A fishing rod according to claim 1, wherein a reinforcing member is inserted inside the rod body at a position corresponding to the recess.

5. A fishing rod according to claim 1, wherein a reinforcing member is fitted onto the outside of said rod body at a position corresponding to said recessed portion.

6. A fishing rod according to claim 4 or 5, characterized in that the reinforcing member is formed longer than the recessed portion.

7. A fishing rod as claimed in claim 2 or claim 3, characterized in that a lid is provided to cover the long hole.
