Description

Power distribution equipment cover

[0001] The present invention relates to a power distribution tool cover for covering a power distribution tool such as a switch or a socket.

[0002] Various types of power distribution device covers have been proposed in the past.

[0003] For example, Patent Document 1 discloses an outlet cover in which the cover and a plate are connected by a hinge and double-sided tape is provided on the back of the plate.

[0004] Furthermore, Patent Document 2 discloses a receptacle cover that includes a plug cover body that is detachably attached to a covering plate that covers the plug socket side of the receptacle body and covers the front of the plug socket, and a cord insertion section formed on the side or bottom of the wall of the plug cover body.

[0005] JP 2018-129279 A JP 2000-100516 A

[0006] However, all of these are only used to cover the plug socket.

[0007] On the other hand, small items such as writing implements and keys can be difficult to find when needed unless a designated place is set aside.

[0008] The present invention was made based on the above circumstances, and its purpose is to provide a distribution device cover that can be used to store small items such as writing utensils and keys, and can therefore be effectively used as a marker to indicate where to store small items.

[0009] In order to solve the above problems, the distribution tool cover of the present invention is characterized by comprising a cover body that covers the distribution tool, a small item storage section for storing small items, and a support section that supports the cover body and the small item storage section.

[0010] The distribution device cover according to the present invention can accommodate small items such as writing implements and keys, and can therefore be effectively used as a marker to indicate where to place small items.

An exploded perspective view of the power outlet cover.

[0012] 1 to 4 , a switch cover 1 as a power distribution tool cover according to a first embodiment of the present invention has a vertical direction Y, a width direction X, and a front-rear direction Z, and includes a cover body 2. The cover body 2 has an accessory compartment 3 for storing small items 7 such as a mobile phone or a writing implement, and a support portion 4 for supporting the accessory compartment 3. An opening 4a is formed in the support portion 4, and a switch 11 (power distribution tool) is exposed to the outside through the opening 4a.

[0013] Here, the power distribution tool cover 1 of the present invention is intended to cover various power distribution tools such as switches, outlets (receptacles) and the like attached to a wall 5 .

[0014] A mounting hole 5a for mounting the switch 11 is formed in the wall 5, and the switch 11 is mounted to a mounting frame 13. When mounted to the mounting frame 13, the switch 11 passes through a central opening of the mounting frame 13 and protrudes forward.

[0015] The mounting frame 13 is disposed on the front side of the wall 5 and is fixed to a fixing frame 14 disposed on the rear side of the wall 5 by first mounting members 15 such as screws inserted through the insertion holes of the fixing frame 14 and the fixing frame 14 .

[0016] The rear side of the support portion 4 of the cover body has a shape that is concave toward the front, and on both sides of the concave portion 4b in the width direction X, there are provided a plurality of engaging claw portions 21 arranged at intervals in the vertical direction Y.

[0017] The cover body 2 is attached to the mounting frame 13 via a mounting panel 30. Specifically, the mounting panel 30 is a frame-like member with an opening in the center, and the cover body 2 and the mounting panel 20 are fixed to the mounting frame 13 via second mounting members 16 such as screws.

[0018] In addition, on both sides of the mounting panel 30 in the width direction X, a plurality of engagement holes 22 are arranged at intervals in the vertical direction Y, into which a plurality of engagement claws 21 located on the back surface of the cover body 2 are engaged.

[0019] In the switch cover 1 according to this embodiment, the accessory compartment 3 is provided above the support part 4, and the support part 4 and the accessory compartment 3 are integrally molded. That is, the accessory compartment 3 is formed in a box shape with an open top, and the support part 4 is connected to the bottom of the accessory compartment 3.

[0020] The accessory compartment 3 includes a storage space S large enough to store small items such as a mobile phone, writing implements, etc. Normally, the switch 11 is located relatively high on the wall 5, but since various small items can be stored in the storage space S of the accessory compartment 3, the user can conveniently take out and put in small items 7 while standing.

[0021] In this way, since the switch cover 1 itself has a storage space S in which small items can be stored, it is more convenient and economical than when a separate member for storing small items 7 is attached to the wall 5 or the switch cover 1.

[0022] In the illustrated example, the storage space S of the accessory compartment 3 is only one, but it may be divided into multiple spaces by a separation wall. The support part 4 and the accessory compartment 3 may be formed to be detachable. The accessory compartment 3 may be located to the side or front of the cover body 2 instead of above it, and multiple accessory compartments 3 may be arranged in those directions.

[0023] Although not shown, the cover body 2 may also be equipped with a USB charging port and function as a charger for a mobile phone. In this case, the mobile phone can be charged while it is stored in the accessory compartment 3, which is even more convenient.
