Description

[0001] CONSTRUCTIONAL ARRANGEMENT APPLIED TO A DOUBLE FLOOR ASSEMBLY WITH CIRCULAR MOVEMENT

[0002] FIELD OF APPLICATION

[0003]

[0001] This utility model patent relates to a double-deck mounting device with circular motion for application inside semi-trailers, trailers, truck bodies supported on chassis, wagons, containers, etc., most commonly, but which can also be used in warehouses and storage areas. It is a type of double deck floor, quick and easy to assemble, built in a modular arrangement.

[0004] BACKGROUND OF THE PRESENT MODEL

[0005]

[0002] There are currently several models of double-deck curtain-side semi-trailers on the market. However, as is known to those skilled in the art, most of these semi-trailers have a fixed double floor, which severely limits the transport of goods, since height is a fundamental factor in cargo transport. There are semi-trailers with a movable floor, but the usable internal space is limited.

[0006]

[0003] In this sense, some inventors conceived the products that are the subject of the patent documents indicated below, but they did not pay attention to the details of the fixed double floor.

[0007] STATE OF THE ART

[0008]

[0004] Patent document BR 20 2013 022071 5 published on 02 / 01 / 2018 teaches a safety assembly applied to a moving column, consisting of a pair of side handles attached near the interior locking system, which can be screwed onto the bilateral support welded to the moving column, or fixed by means of a base using a screw or welding, so that these side handles provide the operator with a better grip; and a steel safety cable at the top, parallel to the rail where the pulley of the moving column slides, this being fixed from the front to the rear of the body, being tensioned with the aid of tensioners, so that the upper part of the moving column is engaged to it by means of a safety chain, thus, if the column becomes disengaged from the rail, the safety cable supports said column, preventing it from falling.

[0009]

[0005] Patent document BR 10 2021 015418 7, published on 02 / 14 / 2023, teaches an automatic horizontal movement and lifting system consisting of a parallelepiped structure, with a floor in the lower area that acts as a base for roller conveyor belts and a lifting platform. The movement of the lifting platform is carried out by geared motors fixed and positioned on the upper part of the parallelepiped structure. The proposed solution produces a complete utilization of the space of the container, conventional truck bodies, side-loading truck / trailer bodies, or other means of storage and transport. The first stage of loading, after the horizontal movement performed by the conveyor belts is completed, is lifted by means of the lifting platform, thus freeing up space for the insertion of a second loading stage, space that was difficult to utilize efficiently in previous models.

[0010]

[0006] Patent document BR 20 2019 018958 0 published on 03 / 23 / 2021 teaches a multimodal trailer with reduced body height and movable floor that allows multiple uses for the transport sector, being a multimodal trailer with reduced body height and movable floor and has in its constructive form based on chassis of any size and shape and also any number of rolling axles to promote in the diverse transport market, when of its use, when of multiple modality, meeting the modal practices of a grain trailer, functioning as a tipper, curtainside and also a box trailer, all fully integrated into a single trailer capable of operating the four transport modalities mentioned.

[0011]

[0007] Analyzing the aforementioned and known state-of-the-art documents, as can be observed, none fully presents the constructive characteristics of the double floor mounting device with circular movement that is the subject of this patent.

[0012]

[0008] In view of this, over time studies have been carried out to eliminate all these problems and inconveniences and, as a result, this device was developed through which it becomes possible to mount the double floor with circular movement inside semi-trailers and similar equipment, thus obtaining an integrated product with real possibilities of economical industrialization, minimizing costs, assembly time and labor expenses, in addition to a precise assembly effect, with better results and a high standard of safety.

[0013]

[0009] Therefore, this utility model patent aims to provide a double-floor assembly with circular movement that allows for optimized use of cargo space inside semi-trailers, trailers, truck bodies supported on chassis, wagons, containers, etc., in a more common way, but which can also be used in warehouses and storage areas.

[0026] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE UTILITY MODEL

[0027]

[0011] According to the aforementioned figures, and in their details, the present patent consists of a double floor mounted with circular movement that can be installed on a closed cargo box, as in fig. 1, a semi-trailer (1), with a fixed floor (2) and another movable floor (3) to be assembled or disassembled as needed for the cargo for better internal use.

[0028]

[0012] Fig. 2 shows, as an example, four assembled double deck modules. The body of the double deck, hereinafter referred to as the double deck, will have its structural base formed from the right side (3) and structural base from the left side (4), the vertical support columns (5), the support crossbars of the double deck in the horizontal direction when it is open (6), the rails on the vertical crossbars with linear guide system (7), the moving parts of the linear guide type rollers, bearings or similar (8), the metal arms called compass arms (9), the fixing points of the compass arms; fixed to the structure (10) and to the double deck (11).

[0029]

[0013] The linear guide in fig. 2 is composed of rail (7) and pulleys (8). To simplify this explanation, examples of guided rollers are considered to be those similar to the mechanism of household fabric curtains, sliding doors, or even linear guides used in automation, etc.

[0030]

[0014] This double deck should be considered that when not in use, fig. (3) (4) it will be placed against the side of the trunk, not occupying internal cargo space, since it fits into the same space of the trunk's side structure. In this fig. 3 the assembly is done in such a way that several double decks (4) can be arranged in each space of the structure, sometimes on one side, sometimes on the other of the trunk, being assembled on both sides in a symmetrical and modular way, making up a number such as to occupy the trunk longitudinally.

[0031]

[0015] When its use for cargo is required, the deck will occupy the intermediate space of the trunk, as mentioned in (fig. 1) (3), duly supported on the support crossbars (fig. 2) (6).

[0032]

[0016] From the vertical to the horizontal position (figs. 4 and 5) the double deck (3) is structurally fixed only on one side, by means of the compass arm (9) at the pivot point on the double deck (11) and at the fixed point to the structure (10), which is also rotatable. However, during its assembly and disassembly movement the double deck is guided by means of the rollers (8) of the linear guide. This item is better observed in fig. 10 (8) which is fixed to the base of the double deck and the rails of the linear guide (fig. 10) (7).

[0033]

[0017] In fig. 4, the linear guide rails (7) are fixed to the body structure, as well as the fixed (upper) point of the compass arms (10).

[0018] Figs. 4 and 5 therefore show the description of the components necessary to assemble the double deck from the side retracted position to the loading position, with a simple circular movement performed by the human operator (figs. 6 and 7).

[0034]

[0019] In fig. 8 the double deck is in the retracted position for use, the pulleys move upwards on the track (12) while the compass arms perform precisely a movement that justifies their name (compass), considering the dry point of the drawing instrument on the fixed part of the structure (fig. 9) (10) and the graphite on the rotating part of the double deck (11).

[0035]

[0020] With this construction the position of the double deck can be assembled or disassembled, both with a circular movement where the weight of the tray is relieved to the operator due to the compass arms that support and position the mechanism.

[0021] When assembled (fig. 9) the deck rests on the vertical columns fixed to the structure of the trunk (5) on one side. However, on the other, where the linear guide is located, it is necessary to assemble movable columns or similar (12) to lock the closing movement when it is being loaded.

[0036]

[0022] Once the double deck is mounted in the vertical position (fig. 10), the compass arm (9) may interfere with loading onto the double deck, as in the case of pallets, for example. In this situation, the mechanical construction of the pivot point (11) must allow for quick disassembly from the double deck, so that it can be stored inside the side structure of the box on both sides, either upwards as shown in (13), or downwards, after locking the double deck.

[0037]

[0023] The constructive form of this utility model is described, with its movements for loading and storing the double deck. The human force required for this operation is extremely reduced, as the weight of the double deck is mostly contained within the trunk structure during assembly or disassembly.

[0038]

[0024] It should be noted that the modules of this model are symmetrical. All double decks can be assembled on one side or on both sides.

[0039]

[0025] The way the cargo box is loaded is done in such a way that the double decks are lowered as the load is loaded, i.e., from the bottom of the box to its door. As an example, pallets (fig. 11) are loaded into the box in pairs. If there is no double deck, they will be assembled 2 by 2 on the floor of the box. With the double deck, it is assembled as follows: only one double deck is lowered; the pallets from below and above are loaded with a forklift or pallet jack, now having a total of four pallets in the same space. The operation is repeated towards the door.

[0026] The great difference in this constructive arrangement is the time and effort required to assemble the entire load, since when the use of the double deck is not necessary, these do not interfere in any way when retracted to carry out the loading like a conventional box (without double deck).

[0040]

[0027] Occasionally a pallet may be taller, making it impossible to use the double deck (fig. 11) (14). In this case, this pallet can be mounted without lowering the double deck (15) in any position of the box and then remounted with the double deck immediately afterwards during loading (16). In this case, it can carry any pallet height with partial use of the double deck, making a mixed load, sometimes with double deck and sometimes without.

[0041]

[0028] There is no known double deck assembly that fully combines all the constructive and functional characteristics described above, and that directly or indirectly is or has been as effective as the deck assembly that is the subject of this patent.

[0042]

[0029] It will be evident to those knowledgeable in the subject matter that while the preferred embodiment of the constructive arrangement introduced in this object is described, any modifications and / or alterations should be understood as falling within the scope of a utility model patent, perfectly fitting the criteria that define it, namely, the combination and modification of already known elements in a new form or arrangement, involving an inventive act, resulting in functional improvement in its use or manufacture.
