Abstract

Disclosed are compounds of the formula (I) and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof: (Formula (I)) wherein R1, R2, R3, R4, R5, and X1 are as defined herein. The compounds are GPR17 modulators. Also disclosed are pharmaceutical compositions comprising the compounds; and the compounds for use in the treatment of diseases and conditions associated with GPR17, including multiple sclerosis, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), Alzheimer's disease (AD), and Parkinson's disease (PD).
