The robot comprises: a first vision sensor; a second vision sensor, which is configured to acquire images of the surroundings of an end effector of the robot; a memory, which is configured to store a computer program or instructions; and a processor, which is configured to execute the computer program or instructions to make the robot: on the basis of the position of a first object and the current position of the robot, perform motion planning on the robot executing an operation on the first object, and perform movement; and during the movement process, continuously acquire second images by means of the second vision sensor, and on the basis of the position and the currently acquired second image, when it is determined that the first object has been sensed by the second vision sensor, perform, on the basis of the currently acquired second image and subsequent second images acquired by the second vision sensor, local motion planning on an actuating apparatus performing an operation on the first object, and perform an action. In this way, the success rate of operation execution is improved.
