To provide a display lamp-attached transmitter that enables reading characters being displayed even in a dark site, and is helpful in checking functions or operation methods of instruments.SOLUTION: In a display lamp-attached transmitter comprising: a main body case (13) incorporating a push button switch to be turned to an ON state by push operation from a front; a protection plate (21) arranged in front of the push button switch; a front panel (22) having an opening part making at least a part of the protection plate (push button) exposed; and a light source (28) disposed in the protection plate or in a rear part or a lateral part of the front panel, the protection plate and front panel are formed of a light guide material, and in a rear surface, a plurality of grooves is formed that corresponds to characters desired to display. These different formation embodiments of the plurality of grooves make an amount of light per a unit area to be emitted from the protection plate or a surface of the front panel different in a part of the character and other part thereof other than the character part, which in turn luminance unevenness occurs.
