The invention relates to an on-line analyzer for hydrocarbons in air, which belongs to the technical field of
air monitoring equipment, and is used for monitoring organic matters of environmental gas. According to the technical scheme, the analyzer consists of a sample introduction component, a power providing component, a high temperature converter component and a
detector component, wherein sample gas, zero gas or standard gas is switched by a valve of the sample introduction component and enters a high temperature converter, the gas is divided into two paths, one path is converted into
methane by the high temperature converter, the other path is still the sample gas, and the two kinds of gas is subjected to
hydrogen flame ionization, so that the content of the
methane and the content of total hydrocarbons are obtained, the content of non-
methane total hydrocarbons is obtained by subtracting the two values, and the organic matters in the gas are quickly detected in real time. By the analyzer, the hydrocarbons in the environmental gas can be monitored in real time on line, and
chromatographic column selection and a complicated valve control technology in other chromatographic on-line
hydrocarbon analyzers are eliminated; and the analyzer has the advantages of simple structure, long operating period, quick and accurate
monitoring data, environment friendliness and the like.
