This invention provides a slow-release feed device for
marine aquaculture, relating to the field of
marine aquaculture technology. It includes a
rotating drum, a drum cover, and a fixed shaft. A rotating
impeller is mounted on the
rotating drum, which is connected to the drum cover to form a cylindrical space. The fixed shaft passes through the central axis of the
rotating drum and drum cover and is rotatably connected to them. A cake holder, a feed cake, and a cake
brush are installed within the cylindrical space. The cake holder is fixedly connected to the fixed shaft, and the feed cake is mounted and fixed on the cake holder. The cake
brush rotates synchronously with the rotating drum, brushing the surface of the feed cake to accelerate slow release. Utilizing ocean currents or the up-and-down movement of
seawater, the rotating
impeller drives the rotating drum to rotate, which in turn drives the cake
brush to continuously brush the slow-release flocculated layer formed on the surface of the feed cake. This effectively accelerates the
diffusion and release of feed particles, solving the problem of excessively long natural slow-
release time for feed cakes and their inability to pass through a 150-mesh or finer silk
sieve, thus meeting the needs of
aquaculture such as
oyster farming.
