The present application relates to the field of federated learning and privacy protection, and particularly relates to a direction-aware local differential privacy federated learning method. The present application effectively solves the problem of serious decline in model performance caused by the destruction of gradient direction information by traditional differential privacy methods by adopting a direction-aware noise selection strategy based on an exponential mechanism locally on the client side.
