This invention discloses a method and
system for monitoring and maintaining
tower operations, belonging to the field of
tower operation and maintenance monitoring. The method includes the following steps: S1: basic
monitoring data acquisition; S2: edge-side data cleaning and initial screening; S3: global data spatiotemporal
standardization; S4: cross-
modal feature fusion and defect identification; S5: result integration and application. By constructing a multimodal
perception network including a
lidar sensor, a high-definition industrial camera, and an
inertial measurement unit, the sensor deployment location and time-triggered synchronization protocol are clearly defined, and geometric, texture, attitude, and
environmental data are collected synchronously to achieve comprehensive multi-dimensional data coverage. Through global data spatiotemporal
standardization processing, a
global coordinate system is established with the
tower bottom as the origin. By retrieving historical operation and maintenance archives from the cloud, operation and maintenance strategies are generated based on a similarity threshold, and the current
monitoring data, identification results, and strategies are written back to the historical archives to update the tower health status
database.
