Many customers want low-calorie or calorie-free beverages but don't want to compromise on taste. To meet these demands, the industry offers beverages with reduced sugar or sweetened with sugar substitutes or sweeteners. However, these substances can have other health or taste disadvantages.

Patent claims 1. Drinking device (1) for retronasal drinking, comprising a drinking liquid transport channel (3) extending from a drinking liquid inlet opening (4) to a drinking liquid outlet opening (5), an aroma channel (10) extending from an aroma channel inlet opening (11) to an aroma channel outlet opening (12), an aroma container (6) containing an aroma substance, wherein the aroma container (6) has an air inlet opening (7) and an aroma outlet opening (8), the aroma outlet opening (8) being in flow communication with the aroma channel inlet opening (11), wherein, when drinking, in particular by applying a suction force at the drinking liquid outlet opening (5), drinking liquid (9) can be conveyed through the drinking liquid transport channel (3), namely such that the drinking liquid (9) enters the drinking liquid transport channel through the drinking liquid inlet opening (4). 3. Drinking device (1) according to claim 2, wherein the first transport channel section (21) and the second transport channel section (22) are arranged at an angle to each other, in particular at an acute, right or obtuse angle.
4. Drinking device (1) according to claim 3, wherein a connecting channel section (23), which is preferably curved, is arranged between the first transport channel section (21) and the second transport channel section (22).
5. Drinking device (1) according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the aroma channel (10) runs at least partially parallel to the second transport channel section.
6. Drinking device (1) according to one of the preceding claims, wherein the drinking liquid outlet opening (5) and the aroma channel outlet opening (12) are arranged at an angle to each other.
7. Drinking device (1) according to claim 6, wherein an opening plane (31) of the drinking liquid outlet opening (5) and an opening plane (32) of the aroma channel outlet opening (12) are arranged at an angle to each other.

13. Drinking device (1) according to claim 12, wherein the flavoring substance is distributed in the carrier material or can be distributed by actuation.

Drinking device (1) according to one of the preceding claims, comprising a lid (15) with which an opening (13) of a drinking vessel (14) can be covered, wherein the drinking liquid transport channel (3), in particular the first transport channel section (21), is passed through or past the lid (15).

Drinking device (1) according to claim 14, wherein a passage (16) is arranged in the lid (15) which, in a state in which the opening (13) of the drinking vessel (14) is covered with the lid (15), allows an exchange of air between an interior (17) of the drinking vessel (14) and an environment (18) outside the drinking vessel (14).
16. Drinking device (1) according to claim 15, comprising a closure device with which the passage (16) can be closed, wherein it is provided in particular that the passage (16) can be closed by turning or sliding the closure device between a position that closes or opens the passage (16).

Drinking device (1) according to one of the preceding claims, comprising a carrier unit (19) for a drinking liquid additive, wherein the carrier unit (19) is arranged such that the drinking liquid additive incorporated in the carrier unit (19) is in contact with the drinking liquid (9) so that the drinking liquid additive is absorbable by the drinking liquid (9).
18. Drinking device (1) according to one of the preceding claims, comprising a filter unit (20) arranged such that the drinking liquid filter (20) can be permeated by the drinking liquid (9) so that the drinking liquid (9) is filtered in the drinking liquid filter (20).
