Abstract
Description
doll body
[0001] The present invention relates to a doll body.
[0002] In a conventional example, Patent Document 1 discloses a small spring drive unit disposed within the hollow portion of a case body shaped like a beverage bottle cap. The output shaft of the spring drive unit protrudes from the top of the unit, and a driving gear is attached to the tip of the protruding output shaft. A driven gear that meshes with the driving gear is attached to the lower end of a driven shaft that is connected to the underside of a turntable that is rotatably attached to the top surface of the case body. The rotational force of the output shaft is transmitted to the turntable via gear means, thereby rotating an object to be viewed, such as a figurine, fixed on the turntable.
[0003] Registered Utility Model No. 3100579
[0004] Patent Document 1 provides a spring-driven rotating toy that allows users to enjoy rotating a figure (doll body) attached to the top surface of a case body by utilizing the rewinding force of the spring. However, the figure (figure) disclosed in Patent Document 1 simply rotates horizontally, and is not configured so that the figure itself can assume various poses. There is no fun in playing with it by manipulating it to change the shape of the figure itself, and it lacks interest.
[0005] An object of the present invention is to provide a highly entertaining doll body.
[0006] One aspect of the present invention provides a doll body comprising a main body including a torso and legs connected to the torso, the main body being configured to be able to assume an upright position and a sitting position, the legs including a first section and a second section connected to the first section, the first section being configured to be rotatable within a first angle range relative to the torso, and the second section being configured to be rotatable within a second angle range smaller than the first angle relative to the first section.
[0007] According to the present invention, a highly entertaining doll body can be provided.

FIG. 16 is an enlarged perspective view of the hands of the doll body.
[0009] A doll body representing one aspect of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. In the following description, the terms "front, back, left, right, up, down, etc." are used with the doll body as the reference point. Figure 1 is a front perspective view of the doll body 1 as seen obliquely from the front, and Figure 2 is a front view of the doll body 1.
[0010] 1 and 2, the doll body 1 is configured by connecting legs 20, a head 30, and arms 40 around a torso 10 to form a main body 8. Hands 50 are connected to the ends of the arms 40. The legs 20, head 30, and arms 40 are rotatably connected to the torso 10. For example, the head 30 can rotate horizontally relative to the neck 11 of the torso 10. The arms 40 are connected to the shoulders 13 so as to be rotatable 360 degrees so as to face in the front-to-back and up-and-down directions.
[0011] The legs 20 are connected to the hip joints 12 provided at the lower end of the torso 10 so as to be swingable in the front-rear direction. The legs 20 have a first upper leg portion 21 and a second lower leg portion 22 connected to the first portion 21 so as to be swingable in the front-rear direction. The legs 20 have a first right leg portion 20R and a second left leg portion 20L connected to a pair of leg shafts 12c protruding on both the left and right sides from the hip joints 12 (see FIG. 9 ).
[0012] 2, the first leg 20R and the second leg 20L are configured to be spaced apart. For example, the first leg 20R and the second leg 20L are spaced apart by a first length (L21) and a second length (L22) at the first portion 21, and are spaced apart in a parallel state by the second length (L22) at the second portion 22. This spaced apart state makes it easy to secure the doll body 1 when, for example, it is placed on a vehicle such as a bicycle or motorcycle.
[0013] Here, the first part 21 is non-detachably connected to the torso 10 so that it cannot be easily removed, and the second part 22 is also non-detachably connected to the first part 21. Furthermore, the torso 10, the head 30, the arms 40, and the hands 50 are also non-detachably connected so that they can be rotated but will not easily come off during the operation.
[0014] The state in which the doll body 1 stands on its own with the soles of the second parts 22 on the underside of the legs 20 in contact with the base 80 (the state shown in Figures 1 to 4) is defined as a first state (standing state). As will be described later, when the doll body 1 stands on its own, a state in which parts other than the legs 20 are used can be defined as a second state (for example, a bridge state using the head 30).
[0015] 2, the arm 40 is configured so that the distance from the torso 10 increases from the shoulder 13 toward the hand 50, and is configured so that the arm 40 comes into contact with the head 30 when rotated 360 degrees. In this way, the arm 40 is configured so that it does not come into contact with the leg 20 when rotated, and therefore the position of the arm 40 can be easily changed in the upright state, sitting state, and free-standing state other than the upright and sitting state (see FIGS. 7 and 8), allowing the doll body 1 to freely assume various poses.
[0016] As shown in Fig. 2, the head 30 is configured so that its maximum lateral width (L30) when viewed from the front-to-back direction is greater than the maximum width (L10) of the body 10. Furthermore, the head 30 is also configured so that its maximum front-to-back width (L31, see Fig. 3) when viewed from the side is greater than the maximum front-to-back width (L11, see Fig. 3) of the body 10.
[0017] FIG. 3 is a side view of the doll body 1, and FIG. 4 is a rear perspective view of the doll body 1 as seen obliquely from the rear side.
[0018] 3, the first section 21 is configured to be rotatable within a range of a first angle (θ1) around the leg axis 12c relative to the torso section 10. The second section 22 is configured to be rotatable within a range of a second angle (θ2) that is smaller than the first angle (θ1) relative to the first section 21. Here, the first angle (θ1) is set within a range less than 180 degrees, and the second angle (θ2) is set within a range less than 90 degrees.
[0019] Furthermore, a restricting portion 12b (see FIG. 9) is provided at the lower end of the body 10 to restrict the first portion 21 so that it can rotate only within a range of a first angle (θ1). The restricting portion 12b has a curved surface. The first portion 21 has an opposing surface 21t that faces the restricting portion 12b and is also curved.
[0020] The first section 21 is configured such that the range of rotation from the upright state to the front side is greater than the range of rotation from the upright state to the rear side relative to the torso section 10. The second section 22 is configured such that the range of rotation from the upright state to the rear side is greater than the range of rotation from the upright state to the front side (towards the front side) relative to the first section 21.
[0021] As shown in the figures, the doll body 1 is formed without a face or clothing on its surface, and in order to make it into a specific character, a pattern can be drawn on the exterior of the doll body 1, or, for example, an attachment part 60 simulating hair can be attached to the head 30 as shown in Figures 3 and 4. The attachment part 60 can also be attached to a location other than the head 30.
[0022] The head 30 is provided with ears 31 that protrude, for example, on both the left and right sides. The attachment part 60 has a cutout 61 formed therein for the ears 31, and the engagement between the ears 31 and the cutout 61 functions as a positioning part that determines the attachment position of the attachment part 60.
[0023] Fig. 5 is a side view of the doll body 1 in a sitting position with the legs 20 stretched out. Fig. 6 is a side view of the doll body 1 in a sitting position with the legs 20 bent.
[0024] 5, in the first mode (sitting position with legs extended) in which the first portion 21 and the second portion 22 are horizontal, the back portions of the first portion 21 and the second portion 22 are in contact with the mounting portion 80 and function as supports, maintaining a freestanding state. At this time, the arms 40 can be raised forward or upward as shown in FIG. 5 to simulate forward bending, bending, stretching, or the like.
[0025] 6, there is a second position (sitting position with legs bent) in which the user is seated on the edge of the support portion 80 or a chair, i.e., the second portion 22 is bent relative to the first portion 21 and hangs non-horizontally. In this second position, the first portion 21 contacts the support portion 80 to form a support, and the second portion 22 is free to take a bent position that allows it to swing freely from a position where it extends substantially vertically downward to a position where it extends forward. In addition, in this second position, the user can sit with the arms 40 lowered, e.g., in a relaxed position.
[0026] FIG. 7 is a side view showing an example of a freestanding state other than the upright or sitting position, and FIG. 8 is a side view showing another example of a freestanding state. The freestanding state of the doll body 1 shown in FIG. 7 is a second state in which the torso 10 is supported by the second portion 22 and the head 30. That is, in this second state, the doll body 1 is placed on the base 80 with both legs 20 bent backward, creating a bridge-like state in which the body 8 is arched backward. This bridge state is a freestanding state supported by three points: the head 30 and both legs 20. Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 8, the freestanding state in the bridge state can also be a ridge state using both hands and both feet, rather than the head. Thus, the freestanding state in the bridge state is maintained by three or four points of support, making it a very stable freestanding state. Furthermore, in the freestanding state using both hands shown in FIG. 8, the ears 31 are in contact with the arms 40, as shown, resulting in a more stable freestanding state.
[0027] The illustrated configuration can also be configured with the main body 8 in a recurved state. For example, contrary to the recurved bridge state, a four-point support state using both arms 40 and a three-point support state using the head 30 can also be configured in a forward-bending state.
[0028] Figure 9 is an exploded perspective view showing the structure of the leg 20. As shown in Figure 9, the first section 21 has a support hole 21c that fits onto the leg shaft 12c of the hip joint 12, as described above, and is locked in a rotated position by an appropriate frictional force when this support hole 21c and the leg shaft 12c are fitted together. In addition, a pair of clamping pieces 21b are formed on the lower side of the first section 21, protruding at a predetermined interval in the left-right direction. Each clamping piece 21b has a first pin hole 21h that penetrates in the left-right direction.
[0029] The second portion 22 has a protrusion 22a at its upper end. This protrusion 22a is a flat protruding piece that protrudes from the center of the upper end of the second portion 22 in the left-right direction. A second pin hole 22h is formed therethrough in the left-right direction. Furthermore, base end surfaces 22e are formed on both the left and right sides of the protrusion 22a at the base end side of the protrusion 22a, perpendicular to the side surfaces of the protrusion 22a. In the upright state, the base end surfaces 22e have a downwardly concave shape, and include a second surface 22ef on the front side that is close to the second pin hole 22h, and a third surface 22er on the rear side that is far from the second pin hole 22h.
[0030] The second part 22 is attached with the protrusion 22a inserted between the clamping pieces 21b of the first part 21, and then the first pinhole 21h and the second pinhole 22h are passed through by a pivot pin 20g (see FIG. 9) to connect them together. This forms the knee part, and the first part 21 and the second part 22 are connected so that an appropriate frictional force is generated at the connecting part, allowing the first part 21 and the second part 22 to be positioned and fixed at a predetermined angle.
[0031] FIG. 10 is a partial cross-sectional view of the legs 20 in a connected state with the knees extended, and FIG. 11 is a partial cross-sectional view of the legs 20 in a connected state with the knees bent.
[0032] The first part 21 and the second part 22 are configured to reliably maintain an upright position and a bent position (for example, a seated position in a chair, etc.) This is achieved by an engagement structure between the surface around the convex part 22a of the second part 22 and the surface around the clamping piece 21b of the first part 21.
[0033] In one specific configuration of the engagement structure, as shown in Figures 10 and 11, the first surface 22t on the tip end surface of the protruding portion of the convex portion 22a and the base inner surface 21g between the clamping pieces 21b are always in contact with each other on the upper side of the pivot pin 20g, regardless of whether the knee is extended or bent. In another engagement structure, the contact position differs between the extended state of the leg 20 and the bent state (sitting state with bent knees). For example, in the upright state, as shown in Figure 9, the lower front side surface 21bf of the clamping piece 21b contacts the second surface 22ef. On the other hand, in the bent state, as shown in Figure 11, the lower rear side surface 21br of the clamping piece 21b contacts the third surface 22er. This configuration ensures that the upright and bent states are well maintained.
[0034] Figure 12 is a side view showing the robot in a walking state, Figure 13 is a side view showing the robot in a running state, and Figure 14 is a side view showing the robot in a jumping state.
[0035] In the walking state shown in Figure 12, the torso 10 stands approximately vertically, the knees are moderately bent, the left and right legs 20 are slightly apart, and both arms 40 are slightly swinging back and forth. In this state, it is difficult for the doll body 1 to stand on its own, but the walking state can be reproduced by using appropriate auxiliary means. Note that the bending angles of the first portion 21 and the second portion 22 in the walking state are relatively small compared to the maximum bending angles (θ1, θ2) of the first and second portions 21 and 22. In this way, by changing the angle of the second portion 22 relative to the first portion 21, it is possible to reproduce the walking state and the walking speed, etc.
[0036] In the running state, as shown in Figure 13, the torso 10 is leaned forward slightly, the knees are bent, the rear kicking leg is raised far back, and both arms 40 are swung back and forth. Even in this state, it is difficult for the doll body 1 to stand on its own, but the running state can be produced by using appropriate auxiliary means.
[0037] 14, in the jumping state, the torso 10 is tilted slightly backward, the front legs 20 are stretched forward to their fullest extent, the rear legs 20 are bent rearward at their first portions 21 to their fullest extent, and the second portions 22 are bent upward as if kicking, and both arms 40 are swung forward, as if performing a triple jump. Even in this state, it is difficult for the doll body 1 to stand on its own, but the jumping state can be produced by using appropriate auxiliary means.
[0038] 15 is an exploded perspective view showing the arm section 40 and the hand section 50. As shown in FIG. 15 , the arm section 40 has a shoulder connection shaft 41 that fits into the shoulder section 13 of the torso section 10 that constitutes the connecting section, and a wrist recess 42 that connects to the hand section 50 is provided at the lower end opposite the shoulder connection shaft 41. The hand section 50 has a wrist shaft 52 that connects to the wrist recess 42 on one end side of the palm section 51. By fitting the wrist shaft 52 into the wrist recess 42, the hand section 50 is rotatably connected to the arm section 40.
[0039] Fig. 16 is an enlarged perspective view of the hand portion 50. As shown in Fig. 16, the hand portion 50 is configured to allow other items 90, such as a character's weapon or tool, to be attached or detached. For example, the palm portion 51 has a semi-cylindrical palm body portion 51a, and has a C-shaped configuration in front view (see Fig. 2) such that a thumb portion 51b protrudes from the open side of the palm body portion 51a and other fingers 51c (index finger to little finger) other than the thumb face each other so as to face the thumb portion 51b.
[0040] Here, the other finger portion 51c is configured with a four-finger pattern drawn on the edge of the palm body portion 51a, while the thumb portion 51b is configured with a portion protruding from the palm body portion 51a that is thinner than the other finger portion 51c. This makes the thumb portion 51b less rigid than the other finger portion 51c. For example, when pushing another item 90 into the palm body portion 51a, the thumb portion 51b elastically deforms more (in the direction indicated by the arrow) than the other finger portion 51c, making it easier to put on the other item 90.
[0041] Furthermore, the configuration in which the thumb portion 51b is easily deformed does not only mean that it is simply small, but also means that, for example, the thumb portion 51b is thinner than the other portions, or further, for example, the other finger portion 51c is thinner than the thumb portion 51b, so that the other finger portion 51c is more easily deformed.
[0042] As described above, in the doll body 1 of this embodiment, the first section 21 (upper leg 20) connected to the torso 10 is configured to be rotatable within a range of a first angle (θ1) relative to the torso 10, and the second section 22 (lower leg 20) connected to the first section 21 is configured to be rotatable within a range of a second angle (θ2) smaller than the first angle (θ1) relative to the first section 21, thereby making it possible to reproduce movements similar to those of a human leg 20. In particular, by setting the first angle (θ1) to less than 180 degrees and the second angle (θ2) to less than 90 degrees, it is possible to express the movements of the leg 20 within a natural range.
[0043] Furthermore, in the doll body 1 of this embodiment, the first part 21 is configured so that the range of rotation from the upright state to the front relative to the torso 10 is greater than the range of rotation to the rear, and the second part 22 is configured so that the range of rotation from the upright state to the rear relative to the first part 21 is greater than the range of rotation to the front, thereby making it possible to make the doll body 1 move in the same way as a human skeleton.
[0044] In the present embodiment, the doll body 1 can stand upright with the soles of the feet of the second portion 22 supporting the entire body, while in the seated position the back side of the first portion 21 can support the entire body. Therefore, in the seated position, the doll can be in a first position with the legs stretched out or in a second position with the knees bent, allowing the doll to be enjoyed in a manner similar to human movement.
[0045] In the doll body 1 of this embodiment, the first part 21 and the second part 22 have an indirect structure that allows them to rotate at a predetermined angle, so that it is possible to enjoy different angles, such as by swinging the second part 22 relative to the first part 21 while in a seated position.
[0046] In the doll body 1 of this embodiment, the first part 21 is configured so as not to be detachable from the body part 10, and the second part 22 is configured so as not to be detachable from the first part 21, so the shape of the doll body 1 is not easily broken and no parts are lost, and the doll body 1 can be enjoyed for a long period of time.
[0047] In the doll body 1 of this embodiment, the second part 22 has a convex part 22a that protrudes toward the first part 21 near the rotation axis as a structure corresponding to the knee part, and in the upright position, the first surface part 22t, which is the surface of the upper end of the convex part 22a, and the second surface part 22ef, which is located below the first surface part 22t and forward of the rotation axis, come into contact with the first part 21, so that the upright position of the leg 20 can be maintained.
[0048] On the other hand, the third surface 22er, which is located closer to the back than the second surface 22ef near the rotation axis, comes into contact with the first part 21, thereby limiting and maintaining the bending angle of the knee when it is bent. As a result, it is possible to assume poses with bent knees or poses in a seated position on a chair, etc.
[0049] In the doll body 1 of this embodiment, the torso 10 has a restricting portion 12b that restricts the first portion 21 so that it can rotate only within the range of a first angle (θ1), and the opposing surface 21t that faces the curved surface of the restricting portion 12b of the first portion 21 is a curved surface that follows the curved surface, so that the rotation of the first portion 21 is reliably restricted while allowing the first portion 21 to move.
[0050] In the doll body 1 of this embodiment, the left and right legs 20 are configured to be spaced apart, which makes it easy to operate the left and right legs. Also, since the left and right legs are spaced apart, it is easy to balance the doll body 1 in the left and right direction, making it easy to display the doll body 1 in an upright or sitting position, for example. Furthermore, since the left and right legs 20 are spaced apart, it is convenient when, for example, the doll body 1 is placed on a vehicle that the doll straddles with both legs.
[0051] In the doll body 1 of this embodiment, the head 30 is configured to be larger than the other parts, thereby expressing the cuteness of the doll body 1. Furthermore, the large head 30 allows the weight of the head 30 to be increased, and the weight balance of the doll body 1 can be achieved at the position of the head 30. When the doll body 1 assumes various poses, for example, when the head 30 is downwards, such as in a bridge pose, the balance is good and the doll body is in a stable autonomous state.
[0052] In the doll body 1 of this embodiment, the ears 31 are provided with protruding structures on the head 30, so that the ears 31 can function as hooks and positioning parts for attachment parts 60 such as a helmet or wig.
[0053] In the doll body 1 of this embodiment, the arms 40 are configured to be rotatable within a 360-degree angle range relative to the torso 10, so that the arms 40 can be placed in any position and can assume a variety of poses. Also, because the arms 40 are configured to come into contact with the head 30, the arms 40 can be engaged and stopped at the head 30.
[0054] In the doll body 1 of this embodiment, the hand 50 of the arm 40 is located at the farthest position from the torso 10, so that when another item is held by the hand 50, interference between the other item and the torso 10 can be avoided. Also, in the hand 50, at least one pair of opposing support pieces to which another item can be attached and detached is configured such that, for example, the support piece on one side, modeled after the thumb, is more easily deformed than the support piece on the other side (index finger to little finger), thereby improving the ease of attaching and detaching the other item. Also, because the support piece on one side is more easily deformed than the support piece on the other side, improving the ease of attaching and detaching the other item.
[0055] Although the embodiments of the present invention have been described above, the present invention can be modified as appropriate within the scope of its technical concept. For example, in the above embodiment, the ankles of the legs 20 are configured to be immobile, but this is not limiting and the ankles can be configured to be bent. Furthermore, the arms 40 may also be configured to be bent at the elbows.
[0056] As described above, this specification describes the following:
