[0001] The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition and use thereof. In particular, the present invention relates to a composition for cleansing and / or caring for keratin materials. [0002] Hair loss in young individuals is a prevalent issue that is usually triggered by stress, unhealthy lifestyle habits, and emotional disturbances. One of the primary biochemical markers associated with stress-induced hair loss is cortisol, a hormone that can be triggered by emotional stress. Elevated levels of cortisol can lead to systemic and localized increases in the scalp, which in turn can cause follicular inflammation and subsequent damage to hair follicles, ultimately resulting in hair loss.
[0003] In addition, washing and rinsing stage is a critical moment for hair fall observation. Strong friction, rubbing and massaging during washing easily cause lots of hair fall from root and breakage of fiber. Especially when consumers comb hair or cross finger through the hair during rinsing, they would easily perceive plenty hair fibers left on comb or their fingers.
[0004] Conventional hair and scalp treatments are typically designed to target the hair fibers, providing smoothness and ease of detangling using cationic polymers. 1.A composition, preferably for cleansing and / or caring for keratin materials, comprising:a) at least one cationic surfactant;b) at least one fatty compound chosen from C12-C22 fatty alcohols and C12-C22 fatty acids;c) at least one tephrosia purpurea seed extract; andd) niacinamide and / or derivatives thereof.2.The composition according to claim 1, wherein the cationic surfactant is chosen from fatty amidoamines corresponding to the following formula (I) and their salts: RCONHR"N (R') 2 (I)wherein R is a linear or branched, acyclic alkyl or alkenyl group containing from 16 to 22 carbon atoms;R" is a divalent hydrocarbon radical containing less than 6 carbon atoms, andR', which may be identical or different, represents a hydrocarbon radical containing less than 6 carbon atoms,preferably, the cationic surfactant is chosen from oleamidopropyl dimethylamine, stearamidopropyl dimethylamine, isostearamidopropyl dimethylamine, stearamidoethyl dimethylamine, behenamidopropyl dimethylamine, palmitamidopropyl dimethylamine, brassicamidopropyl dimethylamine, stearamidoethyl diethylamine, and mixtures thereof.3.The composition according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the cationic surfactant is present in an amount ranging from 0.1 wt. %to 20 wt. %, preferably from 0.3 wt. %to 15 wt. %, more preferably from 0.5 wt. %to 10 wt. %, more preferably from 0.8 wt. %to 5 wt. %, relative to the total weight of the composition.4.The composition according to any of claims 1-3, wherein the fatty compound is chosen from C14-C20 fatty alcohols, C14-C20 fatty acids, and mixtures thereof, preferably chosen from C14-C18 fatty alcohols.5.The composition according to claim 4, wherein the fatty compound is present in an amount ranging from 0.1 wt. %to 20 wt. %, preferably from 0.2 wt. %to 15 wt. %, more preferably from 0.3 wt. %to 10 wt. %, even more preferably from 0.4 wt. %to 5 wt. %, relative to the total weight of the composition.6.The composition according to claims 1-5, wherein the tephrosia purpureaseed extract is present in an amount ranging from 0.0001 wt. %to 10 wt. %, preferably from 0.0005 wt. %to 5 wt. %, more preferably from 0.001 wt. %to 3 wt. %, relative to the total weight of the composition.7.The composition according to any of claims 1-6, wherein the niacinamide derivative is chosen from 2-chloronicotinamide, 6-methylnicotinamide, 6-aminonicotinamide, N-methylnicotinamide, N, N-dimethylnicotinamide, N- (hydroxymethyl) nicotinamide, quinolinic acid imide, nicotinanilide, N-benzylnicotinamide, N-ethylnicotinamide, nifenazone, nicotinaldehyde, isonicotinic acid, methylisonicotinic acid, thionicotinamide, nialamide, 2-mercaptonicotinic acid, nicomol, niaprazine, methyl nicotinate, sodium nicotinate, and mixtures thereof.8.The composition according to any of claims 1-7, wherein niacinamide and / or derivatives thereof is present in an amount ranging from 0.001 wt. %to 20 wt. %, preferably from 0.002 wt. %to 15 wt. %, more preferably from 0.005 wt. %to 10 wt. %, even more preferably from 0.005 wt. %to 8 wt. %, relative to the total weight of the composition.9.The composition according to any of claims 1-8, further comprising water.10.The composition according to claim 9, wherein water is present in an amount ranging from 50 wt. %to 99.5 wt. %, preferably from 60 wt. %to 99.5 wt. %, relative to the total weight of the composition.11.The composition according to claim 1, comprising, relative to the total weight of the composition:a) from 0.8 wt. %to 5 wt. %of at least one cationic surfactant chosen from stearamidopropyl dimethylamine, brassicamidopropyl dimethylamine, and mixtures thereof;b) from 0.4 wt. %to 5 wt. %of at least one fatty compound chosen from C14-C18 fatty alcohols;c) from 0.001 wt. %to 3 wt. %of tephrosia purpurea seed extract;d) from 0.005 wt. %to 8 wt. %of niacinamide.12.A non-therapeutic process for cleansing and / or caring for keratin materials comprising applying the composition according to any of claims 1-11 onto the keratin materials.13.Use of a compound selected from niacinamide and derivatives thereof for promoting the ability of a tephrosia purpurea seed extract for preventing and / or reducing hair loss.14.Use according to claim 13, wherein the niacinamide derivative is chosen from 2-chloronicotinamide, 6-methylnicotinamide, 6-aminonicotinamide, N-methylnicotinamide, N, N-dimethylnicotinamide, N- (hydroxymethyl) nicotinamide, quinolinic acid imide, nicotinanilide, N-benzylnicotinamide, N-ethylnicotinamide, nifenazone, nicotinaldehyde, isonicotinic acid, methylisonicotinic acid, thionicotinamide, nialamide, 2-mercaptonicotinic acid, nicomol, niaprazine, methyl nicotinate, sodium nicotinate,and mixtures thereof.
