Abstract
Description
[0001] Transport bag, conveying device and method for opening or closing a transport bag
[0002] The present invention relates to a transport bag for a conveying device according to the preamble of claim 1, a conveying device, a method for opening a transport bag and a method for closing a transport bag.
[0003] A transport bag of this type is known, for example, from EP 2 130 968 B1. The transport bag described therein essentially consists of two bag walls connected at one upper end by a bracket, on which a suspension device serves for attachment to a rail of a conveyor system. The lower ends of the bag walls are connected by a coupling, which can be actuated by an actuating mechanism located at the upper end of the bag walls to couple the lower ends of the bag walls together for transporting an object. In the coupled state, a bag is thus formed. For unloading, the bag walls are separated from each other so that the object transported in the bag can fall out downwards.
[0004] From FR 2 430 363 A1 a shopping bag is known which has two slidable strips for opening and closing the upper opening, wherein the strips can be engaged by a relative movement in the longitudinal direction, a plug-slide movement, and disengaged by the reverse order of the relative movement, a push-pull movement, in the manner of a bayonet closure.
[0005] DE 102018 201 676 A1 discloses a carrying device for goods, comprising a support wall having a front wall and a rear wall, which can be arranged between a closed and an open state, and which, in the closed state, limits a carrying volume for receiving the goods at least partially to the front, bottom, and rear, and, in the open state, releases the carrying volume downwards. The carrying device further comprises a locking device for releasably connecting the front wall to the rear wall in the closed state and an actuating device connected to the locking device for releasing the connection between the front wall and the rear wall from the closed state, with an actuating means arranged at a distance from the locking device and a transmission means acting between the actuating means and the locking device, wherein the transmission means is designed to be flexible in shape. The locking mechanism is a bolt that rotates around an axis, with its ends engaging in undercut recesses. The interaction of the actuating mechanism and the locking mechanism necessitates a complex, elaborate, and therefore expensive design of the support structure.
[0006] The patent EP 3442 884 A1 describes a transport bag for a conveying device, comprising a first bag wall, a second bag wall, and a suspension device arranged at an upper end of one of the bag walls, wherein reversibly connectable locking elements are arranged at a lower end of the bag walls, away from the suspension device, with which the lower ends of the bag walls can be connected to each other to form a bag base, wherein the locking elements are designed as locking strips aligned parallel to each other, wherein the locking strips are designed such that they can be pressed against each other in the transverse direction of the longitudinal axis of the locking strips to assume a locking transport position that closes the transport bag at the lower end, wherein the locking strips are designed such that they extend from the transport bag at the lower end,The locking bars, locked together in the transport position, can be moved into an unlocked position by sliding them against each other in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the locking bars, in which the locking bars can be separated from each other, in order to open the transport bag at the lower end.
[0007] This type of bag closure is less complicated, but relatively slow to open.
[0008] The object of the present invention is therefore to provide a transport bag, a conveying device, an unloading station, and a method for opening and unloading, as well as a closing station and a method for closing such a transport bag, which enables a further simplified and accelerated opening and closing of the transport bag at its lower end. Furthermore, the opening and closing mechanism should be of a particularly simple and robust design.
[0009] This problem is solved by a transport bag for a conveying device with the features of claim 1, by a conveying system with the features of claim 12, by a method for opening a transport bag with the features of claim 15, and by a method for closing a transport bag with the features of claim 16, as well as by an unloading station according to claim 17 and a closing station according to claim 18.
[0010] The transport bag according to the invention comprises a first bag wall, a second bag wall, and a suspension device arranged at an upper end of one of the bag walls. At a lower end of each bag wall, remote from the suspension device, reversibly connectable locking elements are arranged, allowing the lower ends of the bag walls to be joined together to form a bag base. According to the invention, the locking elements are designed as locking strips aligned parallel to one another and interlocking with each other. The locking strips are designed such that they can be locked against each other in the transverse direction of the longitudinal axis of the locking strips to assume a transport position that closes the transport bag at the lower end and locks together. One locking strip has a locking pin extending along the longitudinal axis, and the other locking strip has locking receptacles that at least partially encompass the locking pin. The locking strips are designed such that they can be moved from their locked transport position, which closes the transport bag at the bottom, to an unlocked open position by relative movement of the locking pin and the locking receptacles. In this open position, the locking strips can be separated from each other to open the transport bag at the bottom. The locking pin projects from both sides of the locking strip along the longitudinal axis.
[0011] This allows for easy opening and closing of the transport bag using robust means. No complex mechanisms or linkages are required. Additionally, the transport bag designed in this way can be opened while in motion, i.e., it can be opened without stopping, thus increasing throughput. In one embodiment, the locking pin engages with its protruding ends in locking receptacles on the other locking strip for locking, and the locking strips are designed such that they can be moved from the locked transport position, which closes the transport bag at the bottom, to an unlocked open position by moving the ends out of the locking receptacles.
[0012] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the ends are designed to be extendable and retractable from the bolt receptacles in the longitudinal direction of the locking strip via means arranged in the locking strip.
[0013] The means can include a gear wheel and racks, wherein the ends of the locking pin are arranged at or formed by the ends of the racks.
[0014] For example, the locking pin could comprise elongated racks whose opposing teeth engage a drive gear, allowing the ends of the locking pin to be extended or retracted by rotation. In the extended position, the ends of the locking pin then engage in cylindrical horizontal bores of the locking receptacles. The rotation of the drive gear could, in turn, be effected by moving external magnets.
[0015] A locking pin portion, preferably the "lower" locking pin (viewed in the hanging orientation of the transport bag), can be Z-shaped to engage in a locking receptacle that is at the same level as the one on the opposite side. The locking receptacle can thus be designed symmetrically.
[0016] In another preferred embodiment of the invention, the locking mechanism receptacles each comprise a receptacle and a closure, wherein the closure at least partially encompasses the ends and the closure is designed to be raised or lowered by external means to release the ends.
[0017] Thus, by applying pressure from "above" and / or "below" (as viewed in the hanging orientation of the transport bag) the locking pins can be released.
[0018] Additionally or alternatively, the lock can be designed to pivot using external means to release the locking bolt. Thus, by pivoting (possibly combined with a vertical displacement) the locks, the ends can be released.
[0019] The lock may have upward and / or downward projecting pressure pieces or actuating elements. This allows the locking pin to be pushed out of the hook section for release by moving these actuating elements.
[0020] In another embodiment, the locking pin is continuous in the longitudinal direction, and the locking receptacles each include a closure, wherein the closure at least partially engages the locking pin when it is inserted into receptacles in which the locking pin is partially exposed. The locking pin is designed to be lowered for release by external means.
[0021] In other words, the locking bolt runs continuously through one locking strip and protrudes laterally on both sides. On the side facing the other locking strip, recesses are provided in which the locking bolt is released section by section, allowing protruding fasteners to engage the locking bolt, at least partially, in those sections. To release or unlock the bolt, the entire locking bolt is lowered.
[0022] A fastener can be a hook that grips the locking pin (or its respective end) with its hook mouth and may be closed by a hook point and / or a wall of the receptacle.
[0023] The opening can be shaped like a funnel open at the front (when viewed in the hanging position of the transport bag). "Front" therefore refers to the front or rear end facing the direction of movement of the transport bag.
[0024] It is conceivable that the mechanism could be driven by internal and / or external means. For example, an external electric motor with a magnetic clutch could be used as a drive. This would allow the internal gear wheel to be operated without physical contact.
[0025] The external means can be, for example, motors, magnets, cams, etc. Thus, the vertical displacement of the actuating elements can be achieved by moving the transport bag with the locking strips through a cam that acts laterally in the area of the closures.
[0026] The external means can therefore shift the actuation points or the ends during interaction in order to release the hook mouth.
[0027] The return of the closures to their initial position can be easily achieved if the closures have to be moved against a restoring spring force or gravity for release.
[0028] The invention also relates to a conveyor system for transporting objects in transport bags designed according to the invention, which has a suspended conveyor with a conveyor chain movable in a conveying direction for conveying the transport bags, holding adapters for holding each transport bag to be conveyed, each of which is designed with a hanging device that can be hooked into the holding adapter, a bag closing station and an unloading station.
[0029] The unloading station includes means for repositioning the locking pin and / or the locking mechanism to unlock the closures. This preferably occurs while the transport bags are in motion, i.e., without stopping.
[0030] A method according to the invention for opening a suitably designed transport bag is characterized by the following method steps:
[0031] - Method of moving the transport bag along the overhead conveyor to the unloading station to the means for bolt pin relocation and / or bolt receiver relocation,
[0032] - Method of moving the transport bag and the means relative to each other, whereby the locking pins can be moved out of the closures into an unlocked open position, so that the locking bars can be separated from each other, for opening the transport bag at the lower end.
[0033] A method according to the invention for closing a correspondingly designed transport bag is characterized by the following process steps: Moving the transport bag along the overhead conveyor into the bag closing station between means for displacing the closing strips, in order to press the closing strips against each other in the transverse direction of the longitudinal axis of the closing strips to assume a transport position that closes the transport bag at the lower end and is locked together.
[0034] The invention also includes a bag closing station for an open transport bag, characterized by means designed to press the closing bars against each other in a transverse direction along the longitudinal axis of the closing bars to assume a locking transport position that closes the transport bag at the bottom, and, if necessary, to reposition the locking pins. Thus, depending on the design of the closure, the transport bag can be easily closed by pressing the closing bars together. If necessary, the locking pin must also be repositioned to engage laterally in the locking receptacle.

[0056] In the following figure descriptions, terms such as top, bottom, left, right, front, back, etc., refer exclusively to the exemplary representation and position of the transport bag, bag wall, locking strip, locking elements, conveyor device, and the like as chosen in the respective figures. These terms are not to be understood as restrictive; that is, these references may change due to different working positions, mirror-symmetrical design, or similar factors.
[0057] In the figures, reference numeral 1 denotes a transport bag according to the invention as a whole. The transport bag 1 has a first bag wall 2 and a second bag wall 3.
[0058] Both bag walls 2, 3 are fixed at an upper end, preferably to a rod 6. The rod 6 is preferably designed as a rectangular frame that forms a bag filling opening 16, through which the transport bag 1 can be filled with one or more such items to be transported.
[0059] To fill the transport bag, the rod 6, designed as a rectangular frame, is pivoted from a vertically oriented position, as shown in Figures 4 or 5, around one of the rod parts, to which one of the bag walls 2, 3 is fixed, into a position perpendicular to the vertical or horizontal, as shown, for example, in Figures 1 or 2.
[0060] At the upper end of one of the pocket walls 2, 3, or, in the embodiment according to Figure 1, at the upper end of the second pocket wall 3, a suspension device 7 is arranged. This suspension device 7 preferably engages a leg of the linkage 6 to which the second pocket wall 3 is attached. A retaining adapter 18 is preferably connected to the suspension device 7, the head of which can be inserted into a rail profile 17 of an overhead conveyor device, which is designed with a conveyor chain movable in a conveying direction x (see Figure 10), as shown, for example, in Figure 10.
[0061] In the lower section of the transport bag 1, the bag walls 2, 3 are preferably connected by side walls 4, 5. Both the bag walls 2, 3 and the side walls 4, 5 consist at least partially of a textile. It is also conceivable to design a section of the first or second bag wall 2, 3 to be dimensionally stable, as shown in Figure 1.
[0062] Instead of a separate bag bottom, reversibly connectable locking elements are arranged at the lower end of the bag walls 2, 3, which are located away from the hanging device 7, and with which the lower ends of the bag walls 2, 3 can be connected to each other to form a bag bottom.
[0063] In general, the locking elements are designed as locking strips 8, 9 that are aligned parallel to each other and can be locked together.
[0064] The locking strips 8, 9 are designed such that they can be locked against each other in the transverse direction of the longitudinal axis I of the locking strips 8, 9 to assume a locking transport position that closes the transport bag 1 at its lower end. The locking strips 8, 9 thus enable simple locking by pressing the locking strips 8, 9 together in a bag locking station 27, as shown, for example, in Figure 11, so that the transport bag 1 can be closed again after emptying by bringing the bag walls 2, 3 together.
[0065] As shown, for example, in Figures 4 to 8, a locking strip 9 can have bolt pin ends 12a, b projecting laterally on both sides in the direction of the longitudinal axis I, which engage in bolt receptacles 13 on the other locking strip 8. In an alternative version according to Figure 9, the bolt pin 10 is partially enclosed in receptacles 19 of the same locking strip by fasteners 14. The also projecting bolt pin ends 12a, b serve for unlocking. The locking strips 8, 9 are also designed such that they can be moved from the interlocked transport position, which closes the transport bag 1 at the lower end, to an unlocked open position by moving the bolt pin ends 12a, b or the bolt pin 10 out of the bolt receptacles 13, in which the locking strips 8, 9 can be separated from each other to open the transport bag 1 at the lower end.
[0066] Figures 6A-C show an embodiment in which the locking pin 10 comprises locking pin ends 12a, b arranged at the ends of racks 11a,b which extend at least partially along the longitudinal direction I.
[0067] The racks 11a,b engage with their mutually facing teeth in a centrally arranged drive gear wheel 12c, so that the locking pin ends 12a, b can be extended or retracted by rotating the drive gear wheel 12c.
[0068] In the extended position, the ends of the locking pins 12a, b engage in partially cylindrical recesses 13a,b of the locking receptacles 13. The rotation of the drive gear 12c is effected by moving external magnets (not shown).
[0069] The "lower" rack 11b (viewed in the suspended orientation of the transport bag) is Z-shaped, so that the end 12b thus formed can engage in a locking receptacle 13b, which is at the same level as the locking receptacle 13a on the opposite side. The locking receptacle 13 can therefore be designed symmetrically.
[0070] It is understood that the racks 11a, b run concealed in the locking strip 9 and that the corresponding cover of the locking strip 9 is missing or not shown in the figures only for reasons of visibility.
[0071] Figures 7A-D show an embodiment in which the bolt pin ends 12a,b dip into lateral bolt receptacles 13 at their ends, which are designed as funnels open towards the front.
[0072] The bolt receptacles also include a closure 14, which at least partially engages the ends 12a,b in semi-cylindrical recesses 13a,b and is designed to be lowered by external means to release the ends. The closure 14 is designed as a hook, which, with its hook mouth 14a and hook tip 14b, engages the bolt pin 10 or its respective end 12a, b.
[0073] The hook 14 has a wall 14c on the "shaft" that runs obliquely upwards towards the opening above the hook mouth 14a, so that the respective end 12a, b is pushed out of the receptacle 13 when pressure is applied from above to the hook 14 or to an upwardly projecting actuating projection 15.
[0074] Thus, by applying pressure from "above" (as viewed in the hanging orientation of the transport bag) to the closure 14, the ends 12a, b or the locking pin can be released. It is understood that a return spring may be provided to force the closure 14 into the closed upper position.
[0075] Figures 8A-D show an embodiment in which the bolt pin ends 12a,b dip into lateral bolt receptacles 13 at their ends, the closure being designed as a downwardly open hook 14 pivotable about a pivot point 16 by external means to release the bolt pin.
[0076] Thus, by pivoting the hook, the ends 12a,b can be released in the respective hook mouth 14a.
[0077] The closure has a downwardly projecting actuating projection 15, which causes it to pivot for release upon contact with a cam, etc. This pivots the hook 14 so that the respective end 12a, b is no longer held in the hook mouth 14a by the hook tip 14b in the semi-cylindrical recess 13a,b.
[0078] In the embodiment shown in Figures 9A-D, the locking bolt 10 is formed continuously in the longitudinal direction I within an elongated slot in the locking strip 8, and the locking bolt receptacles of the other locking strip 9 each comprise a closure 14 which at least partially engages the locking bolt 10 as it enters receptacles 19 of the locking strip 8, in which the locking bolt 10 is partially exposed. The closure 14 is hook-shaped with a partially cylindrical recess 13c into which the locking bolt 10 is pressed upwards by a spring 20.
[0079] To release the locking pin 10, the laterally projecting ends 12a,b are lowered against the spring force by external means.
[0080] By unlocking the locking strips 8, 9, the transport bag 1 can be opened so that its contents fall out downwards.
[0081] A section of a conveying device according to the invention with an unloading station 29 is shown in Figure 10.
[0082] At this unloading station 29 in a rail profile 17, transport bags 1, which are filled with an object to be transported, are emptied here, whereby the locking bars 8, 9 are moved from their locked to the open position for emptying.
[0083] For this purpose, the unloading station 29 has a downward-leading inlet 21 in a frame 22, after which the transport bags 1 are driven, stabilized and aligned by belt conveyors 23 acting from above on their upper edge and running parallel to each other.
[0084] Below, approximately at the level of the closing strips 8, 9, five pairs of hinged discharge panels 25 are arranged at intervals in the conveying direction X. These panels can be hinged in a controlled manner between an active discharge position and a rest position. Thus, transport bags 1 can be selectively unloaded by activating the hinged discharge panels 25 to open a transport bag 1 by releasing the locking mechanism, allowing its contents to slide downwards onto a chute 24 and from there onto a discharge conveyor 31. It is understood that the number of discharge panels 25 is arbitrary and that a chute and / or a receiving container, such as a cardboard box, etc., can be placed in place of a chute 24.
[0085] The controllable discharge cams 25 of a pair are spaced apart in the longitudinal direction I so that they can assume the active position with a cam lever 26 to contact the actuating tips 15 or the ends 12a, b on the pocket sides and thus move them to perform the unlocking.
[0086] The cam levers 26 can be designed to act either from below or from above on the actuating tips 15 or ends 12a, b.
[0087] The action can be actively controlled by sensors when passing by or when a transport bag 1 is present at an unloading cam 25, so that the cam lever 26 acts on the actuation points 15 or ends 12a, b when moving into the active position.
[0088] It is also possible to passively engage the cam lever 26 by first moving it into the active position, so that the transport bag 1 with the actuating ends 15 or ends 12a, b moves against the cam lever 26 while passing it without stopping.
[0089] The subsequent resealing of the transport bag 1 preferably takes place in a bag closing station 27 following in the conveying direction x, as shown by way of example in Figure 11.
[0090] The bag closing station 27 has two pressure plates 28 which can be moved towards each other approximately perpendicular to the direction of the longitudinal axis I of the closing bars 8, 9, between which the transport bag 1 can be positioned.
[0091] The pressure plates 28 can be moved from a position in which the separated locking bars 8, 9 are positioned between them to a locking position in which the locking bars 8, 9 are pressed together perpendicular to the direction of the longitudinal axis I of the locking bars 8, 9 and thereby locked together.
[0092] In the embodiment of the bag closing station 27 shown here, the pressure plates 28 can be pivoted about a pivot axis 32 running parallel to the longitudinal axis I of the locking bars 8, 9 by means of adjusting rods 33. If necessary, the bolt pin ends must also be repositioned to engage laterally in the bolt receptacle 13a,b (see Figure 6). An electric motor equipped with a magnetic clutch can be provided for this purpose (not shown). It is understood that several transport bags 1 can be grouped between the pressure plates 28 and closed simultaneously. For example, 5 bags can be closed at the same time.
