[0005] In the field of plastic closures, flip-top closures with a hinged cap are known for sealing plastic bottles. The cap allows for particularly quick resealing of the bottle, making it especially suitable for use during sports activities. The cap is attached to the top of a retaining sleeve by means of a hinge. The retaining sleeve, in turn, screws onto the neck of the bottle. To assure the user that the flip-top closure is unopened and sealed before first use, it is common practice to incorporate a tamper-evident seal, often also called a warranty seal, first-opening guarantee, or tamper evidence seal.
[0006] Such a flip-top closure with a tamper-evident seal is disclosed in JP 5 877 561 B2. A first and a second tamper-evident arm are formed at the lower edge of the cap and at the upper edge of the retaining sleeve, respectively. Before the flip-top closure is opened for the first time, the first arm lies above the second arm. When the cap is closed again, the first arm can no longer be positioned below the second arm, as the latter is in the way. Therefore, after the initial opening, the first arm is always necessarily above the second arm. This position indicates to the user that the flip-top closure has already been opened. However, the two arms lie close together in both possible positions, as both arms are movably molded onto the cap and the retaining sleeve, respectively, and can press against each other. Consequently, it is not immediately apparent to the user whether the flip-top closure has already been opened or not.Furthermore, the positions of the first and second arms are so similar that it is ambiguous which position indicates the closed state of the clasp. 1. Having a hinged closure (11) made of plastic - a spout (15) with a sleeve (17) for attaching the closure (11) to a container (13) and for drinking from the container (13) with a lower rim (22) and a spout (23) adjoining the sleeve (17) and surrounding a pouring opening (25), - a cap (27) connected to the spout (15), which has a sealing element (31) on its inside for closing the spout opening (25), - a hinge (29) with which the closure cap (27) can be pivoted relative to the spout (15) from a closed position to an open position and vice versa, and - a guarantee lock (33) which indicates whether the hinged lock (11) is originally closed and has at least one movable first arm (35a) with a first and second end (37, 39) which is attached to an upper edge (44) of the jacket (17) or on a lower edge (41) of the closure cap (27) is hinged to the first end (37) and in a first position indicates that the hinged closure (11) is originally closed and in a second position indicates that the hinged closure (11) has already been opened, characterized in that the at least one first arm (35a) is received in a recess (43) before the initial opening, which tapers towards the first end (37) of the arm (35a) and accordingly has an opening realized as a constriction (45) which is unchangeable in size, through which the arm (35a) is pulled during the initial opening of the closure cap (27).
