Abstract

The present invention relates to a long-term bed for supporting the recovery of patients, said bed having multiple positions to make the patient's stay more comfortable. These multiple positions reduce pressure points in order to prevent wounds from forming on the patient's skin. Furthermore, the bed of the present invention helps the recovery of patients by providing exercises that continuously move the legs, preventing the loss of mobility and the possible formation of blood clots. [0003] The present invention relates in general to health equipment technologies and more particularly to a long-stay bed and support for patient recovery, in this case one that can have multiple positions to make the patient's stay more comfortable.

[0005] Currently, there are various hospital beds that allow a patient on the bed to activate a series of functions via a screen or touch control, enabling movement of the backrest and legs in different positions.
