Manual chain block

Abstract

Provided is a manual chain block provided with chain guides by which enlargement of the radial dimension of a wheel cover can be prevented and slip-off can be prevented　A manual chain block 10 comprises: a chain block body frame; a cylindrical wheel cover 7 that houses a hand wheel 6 and has, on a peripheral surface 7c, a pair of through-holes 71 through which a hand chain 5 enters and exits; and a pair of chain guides 73 that are attached to the through-holes 71 and guide passage of the hand chain 5. The chain guide 73 includes: an arcuate-plate-shaped body part 73a that is fitted to the through hole 71; an outer peripheral flange part 73b that extends outward from one end of the body part 73a and abuts the outer peripheral surface 7d of a wheel cover 7; an inner peripheral flange part 73c that extends inward from one other end of the body part 73a, as well as toward both sides perpendicular to the circumferential direction, and abuts the inner peripheral surface 7e of the wheel cover 7; and a screw-fastening part 73d by which the inner peripheral flange part 73c is screw-fastened to the inner peripheral side of the wheel cover 7.
